Other parties aren’t that much slower than war/mes, path 1 should just be made longer to match the other dungeons.
Tbh I don’t mind our downed as we’re the only class that can self res if we throw the elixir R as we’re going down :p I have trolled so many in spvp with it.
Staff is great in groups, wvw is all about groups :p
I heart Vox <3
You can also click the icons along the top left corner.
What else does unique mean? If you don’t know you ask before using.
look forward to it Only heard about you folks through that recent SOAC thread but I love you all already xD
That tourney was great, specially the casters – even with only a little experience they were very exciting.
Gosh those warriors got smushed though. Guardian hardest counter :p Engineers know how to have the most fun
To be fair, in some other game, you get tp stuff in the mail, which has limited slots. A system like that could work here. Kinda wish there were mailboxes in gw2, we already have to travel to a place for tp stuff.
You can’t really balance around server crashes, when does that even happen :p
I switch weapons out of combat pretty easily anyway, just don’t carry too much random crap :p
+1 more stuff I want to buy a makeover kit :p
I guess they want people to play the game :p
Just let us rearrange the skills locations like we can with utilities.
Tbh adding passive effects to gadgets might make me actually use one, they could be like cybernetic augmentations,
Goggles = cyber eyes (passive vulnerability stack/precision increase)
Rocket Shoes = cyber legs (passive move speed)
Battering Ram = tough exoskeleton (passive toughness/vitality)
Slick Shoes = agile exoskeleton (passive vigor maybe a stun break instead of goggles)
Throw Mine = bomb dispenser :p (add explosions to things :p)
Activating could give the current effects. Signets are a cool concept, and they really helped the less skilled people have fun
Byron, removing the class mechanic from a class is ofcourse going to kitten the class, you could say the same for removing virtues and boons from guardians :p
chill isn’t affected by condition damage though I condition duration with it is very nice.
Also the condition removal argument in pvp doesn’t really stand, direct damage can be “removed” with weakness/protection/chill/roots/blocks etc.
That’s a lot of crit damage.
It only worked in EVE, LA isn’t Jita :p
Avenge it’s always night somewhere.
Healing turret is 3s iirc.
Yeah it’s good for casting away from your direction of travel. I do miss my out of water shadowstep though, it was nice ducking into the water to use the abilities on land targets :p
It’s not that bad in any dungeon where people are going down a lot (I tend to run a lot of pugs for new players so I take all the ressing traits/skills)
It’s a 900 AOE and if you can judge the situation quickly you can start casting it before it’s too late.
The cast time is pretty crazy though, wish it was 3.5s instead of 4.25.
It’s more for keeping people off points :P
Cool screenshots
I love my charr engi, but if you don’t just reroll, a couple months and you’ll be at the point you are now again :p
If you don’t like the kit just play a fun kit, you don’t have to be optimal if its not fun.
I’ve never been in a party where someone gets booted due to class. Maybe you should start the parties.
Maybe downscaling should flat out remove the third / second stats on exotics.
We definitely don’t want it to be harder for lowbies. And taking the gear off isn’t good, inventory space isn’t exactly free :p
Cranked, if gold income is balanced out, the prices of things should come down, if nobody can afford overexpensive stuff then it will have to be listed for less
But instead people just farm more instead of not buying. You bring it on yourself.
Gosh that’s pretty, I like it
I like having 5 different classes, It’s interesting
I still have no idea where rangers got a bad reputation from, never grouped with a bad one.
Great video :p
I still think picking up a turret should reset the cooldown completely or down to 5 seconds.
Something that can’t move really needs to be much tougher in this game.
Because anet hate elementalists.
They aren’t invisible when they can affect you, so it doesn’t need any more counters.
Just look at the screen when you are playing and you’ll be fine.
Grammar, engis can be some of the best bunkers out there. My engi always tanks everything in dungeons :p
lower range, make aoe, shotgun for life :P
Arenanet said they didn’t like that people weren’t using the turret and instantly picking it up, so nerfing the instant effect makes sense.
Its much better for what it was supposed to be used for, the increased range on everything is just so nice.
If you want a self heal go for the elixir h or something
I just don’t get why transforms have to be SO BUGGY T_T just let people use utilities while transformed.
Okay, now that the hoopla over the RTL/MF has died down I’m going to bump this thread.
I spoke too soon, you guys still seem pretty heated over the patch. Speaking of, the patch increased the duration of GoS’s storms. It looked pretty good on paper before, and better now. Too bad GoEP doesn’t proc effects based on current attunement instead of the attunement as of time of casting.
That’s the best bit! I love my crippling/chilling meteor storms.
to be honest you’ll probably have figured out enough by the time you reach 80, especially as every piece of gear before 80 doesn’t matter.
You’ll probably want to get some vitality+toughness while you’re learning how to stay alive. eles can’t face tank (unless you like the lightning hammer) With so few weapons we can carry them all without inventory issue so you can change them based on the situation.
You can read without commenting you know.
meh I don’t think it really makes a big enough difference to influence wether or not I do stuff.
Is your wvw team failing?
Unlike GW2 where your actions will actually matter. If you ignore that event, the bandits will burn down that town and they will kidnap the townsfolk. Then you get a whole new event to put out those fires and save them.
None of this happens. Bandits may attack a farm. If you fail the event to repel them, guess what they do. They stand around doing nothing until someone comes along and clears them out. Then the whole thing repeats 30 minutes later.
It’s a step in the right direction, but nothing you do has any impact on the game whatsoever.
Yeah basically these back and forth chains need an extra couple of failure states, ending in total destruction of said town, so that an event needs to send builders out from the capital to rebuild.
Basically I want orr everywhere.
The damage isn’t the issue, it’s the reliability. They shouldn’t miss unless you’re blinded.
Well… There’s still nothing to do PVE wise,, still no skill-based dungeons/team setups
RIP GW1
Forums can’t be made happy.
Thread 1: “OMG THIS kitten IS TOO HARD! GIVE ME TRINITY SO I CAN PLAY WITHOUT SKILL”
Thread 2: “ZOMG THIS kitten IS TOO EASY! GIVE ME SOMETHING HARDER TO PROVE MY MANLINESS IN!”Which is it, people?!
It’s both, some people are bad, some people are not bad.
I wish I could trade to people standing next to me :/
It’s the same fist that is on the boon bar, how is it more confusing than NO graphic at all :/ This is just to match confusion.
