Your idea sounds good, although it is a bit too complicated for anet to actually do. Eh, I’d be perfectly fine with turrets if they did something very simple like added a trait that decreases the cooldowns by 25%.

Another idea is to have certain turrets to have certain effects when used together.

Healing turret + flame turret = in addition to their normal effects, healing turret causes flame turret to remove conditions from allies in the path of the flames.

Flame turret + rifle turret = ultra heated rifle bullets pierce(would work similarly to coated bullets, but for the rifle turret.)

All four turrets: The turrets become linked. All turrets have to be destroyed within 10 second of each other or they will all respawn. A slightly less powerful version would be to increase the health, toughness, and general effectiveness of turrets by 5-10% for every turret that is placed.

*For balance none of this would apply to supply crate turrets.

Give them all combo fields/finishers imo, they are supposed to be area control afterall, the area should be advantageous to you and your team.

It sounds super overpowered. 3 nets or flames nobody will ever reach you and 4x napalm is pretty crazy.

I have zephyr’s speed and the signet definitely works.

I think it’s set up so there is a movement speed buff for every build, they aren’t meant to be used together.

The ancient karka event was so epic, I loved it, though I do feel for those that had horrible experiences during it.

I’m really enjoying the living story so far, the molten alliance are quite intimidating.

got all my 80s by now and I love most of them (the boring thief is only allowed to farm the jungle worm though). leveling was pretty much a chore after the first few. I knew the maps and events and hearts and dialogues etc.. I would’ve loved getting some kind of exp boost while leveling. like each 80 you have gives you an optional 20% exp boost on alts (stacking with other buffs)..

my main problem was, playing a character at lvl 80 with a decent build is so much fun, but during the leveling process you constantly have to get new equip, switch up your few measly trait points to get some benefit etc. most classes are not designed to be useful with only half their traits. warri might be the only exception with the many-sigil-pve build which is really powerful at low lvls but sucks at 80. so you play for 79 levels with only a part of your classes full potential.

the only benefit I see with the current system is how it encourages players to try different things out, all the weapons, different stats on their armor etc, as switch up your build costs only a few silver at low levels, while doing the same when you’re already 80 with full exotics is gonna cost a bit more.

Well you can spend a laurel on an xp booster, spend gold on gems for xp boosters. Having a main does give you access to stuff to make your levels go way faster :p

The event scaling system should be applied to dungeons. More guild content.

Because opening a tab in a browser is harder than opening a tab in a game.

wtb kit skins, in general. i wouldn’t mind this box always being here, though the chests in the overworld obviously can’t stay for too long :P

It was always a magitek world, not a fantasy one.

Aw that’s nice of them I try to help people when I can, it seems that gw2 was made to avoid people raging so the overall atmosphere is way more positive than most other games I’ve played

I do wonder why people always say “they could be working on class balance or features” super adventure box does not use any new features, it’s all art. The art team can’t balance the game or fix things.

They also can’t just sit around doing nothing :p

Did it really take this long to realise gw2 was aimed at busy people :p Even then there’s still more variety than in those raid grinding purple pixel chasers.

27 here and I love this game more and more with every patch :p I think devs like to make the kind of games they like to play – and there aren’t that many youngsters in the industry atm.

Still, hope you find a game more your taste, there are many.

The classes are pretty well balanced in pvp, but totally agree that’s only because there are so few viable builds.

Yeah it’s a shame those things aren’t in yet, but tbh I think people might enjoy jumping puzzles more than the town events. I do look forward to polymock though gw2 will be so awesome in a year’s time I bet

anet did say that ascended was always part of the plan pre-release, though who knows. I don’t mind them finishing the ascended thing up, as long as they NEVER add another tier. I’ll just pretend that ascended was there since launch and it’s alright :p

Crafting isn’t useless if you use your head, but then the potential is horribly stunted compared to games with item destruction like EVE, I wish all games had items that were easy to craft but you lost on death. Would make exotics really mean something in gw2 :P

You can already focus on logistics if you want, move supply around, repair things, get on defences.

The main problem for some is just that the only challenging content is quite limited, so the prestige is not that common.

People wearing full ascended armour skins would be very rare if fractals keep scaling up and up :p

Still you can probably tell someone is at least decently skilled if they have a full dungeon/pvp set.

jeez, they are working on it, that’s what I meant. gw2lfg works until it’s in the game. So stop whining. It’s not going to make it happen any faster.

and Vayne, eve is increasing in subs, I don’t really think that’s dying. Pretty sure gaining players is the opposite of dying :p

Mougen, yes wow is successful, but the lfg tool RUINED the game for a lot of people. It’s why all of my friends and I left, different games and systems appeal to different people.

I play gw2 partly because of no forced trinity, and no auto dungeon finder. I’m glad that anet agree with me on this so I know i’ll enjoy gw2.
I do agree that core gameplay is best, but I think class balance/viability is most important.

my ele and engineer keep people alive and tank mobs pretty well. dps isn’t everything :p

That 15 second water spring is something I love in my parties, since i can spam blast finishers it really helps keep the party alive.

I’ve never had any issues with any class in the party. All are welcome. The main issue is when someone was failing to bring a specific condition, also jade maw was a pain with 3 rangers due to the reflect :p

I guess the main problem is just that cantrips are just the best.

If there was a glyph or signet that broke stuns/granted stability you’d see more builds with them.

I think when anet said they wanted some easier builds for eles rather than just the high skill cap builds, they were thinking about upping the autoattack damages.. They do look quite powerful, the numbers don’t match the animation though. Trouble is you can’t really have d/d damage at 1200 range and it being balanced :p

I <3 my logitech g500, i use the ctrl + 2 side buttons / q / e for attunements seems pretty smooth to me. Side buttons on their own are heal and dodge too.

Staff is harder to play, therefore there are less people playing it.

I think they should just make mobs not leash, have slightly reduced hp and higher condition damage. Would fix a lot of issues with dungeons imo.
