But just because the gods themselves exist, doesn’t mean they created the world and are those all powerful being that we were told in GW1.

Why was it okay to treat everything said in GW1 as 100% truth but now it is not okay to do the same with the new information and technology?

There is always issues here:

If they make them tradeable people complain about how you can just use a credit card and buy them without “working” for them.

If they are not people complain about having to “work” for them.

It is rather unlikely that they would need specific weapon skins or whatever in order to get those metrics.
It is probably rather easy to just log the map-data for each account or something like that (it is already done with PoIs, WPs and other such things after all.

It is also made rather clear in the story that Taimi seems to have a way to fix the WPs so that Mordy can’t use them anymore, which would make this issue rather moot.

250 years ago on Earth we had loads of stuff that were “facts”, yet today many of those things have been confirmed incorrect.

Back in the days it was common knowledge and a fact that the Earth was flat, that is clearly not the case. It was also a fact that the Sun moved around the Earth and not the other way as we know now.

What is facts today might very well not be facts in 10 years.

1: Megaservers doesn’t effect WvW.
2: There are, as far as I am aware, no F2P or B2P games with RvRvR fights. The only games I can recall having those are Dark Age of Camelot and Elder Scrolls Online, both which require subscriptions.

Are you serious? STORY is the main form of content coming from Anet now. There should be meaningful rewards for it, and not junk loot. At least in the original Personal Story, we got somewhat better rewards, but this really shows how amateur this game design really is. Anet can never do wrong in your eyes. It’s laughable.

Yes, story is the main for of content right now.
But there is still World Bosses, Champions, Dungeons and Fractals if you want rewards.

I might remember incorrectly but I seem to recall the Personal Story rewards being quite bad, they had nice skins and all but the items themselves were easily replaced for something better.

I simply stated a fact that if you want loot, you go to the loot generating areas. The story-line areas have never been the loot generating areas in this game.

Storywise I would say both of these releases have had way more than the majority of LS1.

The issue with us being leader of the Pact is explained during the Personal Story.
We are part of one of the Orders, and as such we shouldn’t be leader of the pact since that might show favor to a specific Order.

So IF Trahearne is killed I have a feeling the Pact might very well fall apart rather fast.

Majority of these bi-weekly updates are ONLY focused story + new gemstore stuff and tool tip updates LOL…. .its been 2 years and still haven’t seen anything remotely close to xpac like content being added to this game. By this time around, GW1 had factions and that xpac alone had more content added than what anet has added to GW2. And i mean NEWCONTENT , not some silly features and revamps to runes and terrible class balancing

NA/EU playerbase has dwindled big time because of the lack of real content (xpac like) updates..Its been 2 years, this game needs it now more than ever and it shows.

You are also suggesting that Factions was an expansions, which is incorrect. It was a standalone game which was probably rather far along even before release of Prophecies.

I personally prefer to get new stuff every two weeks that lasts a few hours instead of waiting 6-12 months to get content that lasts a week or two.

The amount of content is probably more or less the same. It is simply difference in how and when it is delivered. Some people prefer to have it bunched up, others prefer to have it dropped during a longer period of time. Simple as that.

Considering that tags tend to turn up rather fast when situations get hostile (at least from my experience) it would suggest that they are around most of the time.

Another thing to keep in mind (whilst it is sad) is that I seem to recall that Konig have rage-quitted at least once before, so I wouldn’t take this as a permanent quit either.

And the whole situation is quite silly.
Should they really be hold accountable to things that they said MONTHS before the game was even released, when said things was never presented in-game? A few months can change loads of stuff in development.

Maybe this is a good reason why they should never do any more lore interviews, or even talk about anything in the game outside of previews of content?
