Heyo… So I’m normally a WvW and PvP player (r1480 WvW r37 PvP)

I’m basically wanting to try out Teq and worm for the first time and gain a few ectos for a new weapon skin by doing other world boss events, does anyone know a reliable site to use since mega servers?

Two things I don’t like about megaservers:

Guild missions….
Bounty – lost 5 minutes just trying to ferry everyone onto the same map.
Puzzle – Waited for nearly 20 minutes for other guilds to finish then had people trolling the emotes section in plains of ashford puzzle so their guild could get in.
Challenge – Wasn’t exactly a challenge with 3 other guilds doing it too to help people out and speed it up for their turn.

Rush – Seems to be the only one that works out well… made it extremely easy doing spider rush with another guild there, sheer numbers got everyone through the dredge without being hurt.

LA/Gandarren Fields…
As part of being on a low populated server I feel these 2 maps should be server restricted…
It was very common for WvW people to go to LA and make a call out in map chat that X amount of golems were attacking Y objective and help was needed…

I have a mesmer with torment runes, torment sigils, torment on shatter, torment on block plus bleeds on crits from duelists and it’s really funny watching people die to my 2400 condition damage (ascended gear, Guard stacks + Sigil stacks with no might).

OH, and my burns tick for 950 per second and confusion hits 2k an attack with 8 stacks.

Thieves are super yummy tho

Erm I’m from GoM…

GoM has been hitting both servers hard, DR and DH have the closest PPT in the match up and DR and DH have been bumping heads like crazy letting GoM free most of the week.

ALSO, DR has an amazing defense and zerg during the prime time, even in EB it’s nearly impossible to take a tower from them due to over usage of siege and scouts in towers, resulting in commanders keeping the momentum going else where (DH)..

It’s not double teaming, it’s just unfortunate that DR have a great defense pushing GoM onto DH to get anywhere until the oceanics log on and make all of EB green.

At times it would feel like double teaming on purpose, but as most commanders know, if they don’t feed their zerg towers, karma, loot and champ bags then they lose alot of the fair weathers and AP hunters, and DH has been allowing this where as DR have been very defensive about just about everything they own.

you will have your time, I felt the same way then in the same month I got 4 precursors..

1 & 2: Was trying my luck with 100g in the forge for The Colossus to make juggernaut, 2 forges in I got one… forged the rest for the hell of it and got another towards the end.

3. A week later I dumped 40g into the forge to do my “mystic Forgesmith” daily requirement… Got Dawn from it.

4. about 2 weeks later fighting Yaks Bend in Briar just before I died I spammed ’F" on a chest and got Leaf of Kadzu. (Pic)

Before that I have had nothing, and since then I have put a tonne of gold into forge for nothing so now I went back to only “trying” when doing the forge is a quick way to get daily done.

To the OP: No one here can answer your question, and as you can see, discussing it for the sake of discussion is not productive. My unsolicited advice is to wait until patch day then submit a ticket, maybe you can get something for your efforts.

It’s a generally positive change with a few negatives for a very selective group of people who think they deserve some kind of compensation for no longer having the exclusive right of feeling prettier than everyone else.

I never asked for compensation, I asked if I’ll be able to sell 1 of the skins off, and to all those people who misunderstood me and think I was part of the whole “why cant everything be account bound then complain when it is” I am not one of those players, I still enjoy the game that I bought 16 months ago and I enjoy it today..

5 hammer warriors with a 3s stun hit you at the same time, you don’t get stunned for 15s, you get stunned for 3s from the last warrior that hit you, now like I said if they hit you at the same time… All up your total stun time is… 3 seconds, not 15s.

I’ve seen a lot of threads about legendaries, but for me I have 2 Foefires Essence, will I atleast be able to sell off 1 of those skins when wardrobe is implemented?

Or has the time and gold I spent crafting a second one been a complete waste of time?

In all honestly this is a big kick in the face on how much of a waste of time and effort this game requires just for things to be crafted for cosmetics then deleted at Anets say so…

1 skin is gonna be completely redundant and the time and money I spent crafting it is thrown out the window… Almost made me quit gw2 knowing that the things I work hard for will be waste of time on Anets say so.

There should be a separate GUILD TAG that is yellow like the guild names and can only be seen by guild members and party members. It costs 10 guild comidations and 10 gold. On the map it has precedence over the normal ones (when there are two tags ontop of each other, you see the guild one and name over the blue one). This also helps avoiding having pugs hop onto your organized group and mucking it up. Additionally, you can organize your havoc group via this tag.

Blue tag – Bought with 100g. (displays name: Commander yadda yadda)
Red tag – Bought with 10,000 Badges. (displays rank: Commander silver veteran)
Yellow tag – Bought with merits as an upgrade for guild members to use at will within guild. (Displays only to guild members)

Classes I have used while roaming with a thief that work well are:

Mesmer. (careful your mass invis doesn’t screw his CnD)
Bunker D/D Ele.
DIRE Necro.
APOTH Engie.
Tankish Warrior with a hammer.

Those are from personal experience that I found work extremely well, you take all the heat if you can’t stealth aswell and if you can provide damage or CC for your killer friend in the mean time it works well.

Personally I don’t mind if the enemy has stacks, it’s the challenge of dueling that I like and if it’s harder to win then that’s fine, more to learn from the mistakes I made cause I would feel them more.

I like Omega golems…
When an enemy likes to emote after zerging me as a roamer and won’t seperate from the zerg so I can kill them or when a thief contests a keep for hours I let frustration flow in the form of 10+ Omegas strait to the enemy keep then watch the hatred flow on the forums about it.

It’s cheap and skill-less but so is zerging a roamer and emoting lol

Just wanna know if weapons will be needed to be re-equiped to be account bound or not..

Reason for asking is I have 2 Volcanus on 2 seperate toons and 2 Whisperblades on my Mesmer and I know a few people who have double Incinirator and just curious if we are able to sell off the pointless skin of the double or if our 400g + spending/crafting and time consumption will fall under wasted gold and effort?

I know no one would like it if I stole a famous painting and photocopied it then dumped the originals into a black hole.

30v30 zergs it becomes kitten delay on skills and that’s IF we have skills other than auto attack.

Contesting keeps need to be reworked…

I’m all for contesting keep while an ally zerg takes an objective nearby, it’s a decent strategy…

But a rework needs to be done, kissing the gate twice shouldn’t be able to accomplish it..

Only suggestion I can make is, 8-10 hits on the gate or 1% damage to gates to contest the waypoint…
Having a thief sit at a keep contesting it for 3 hours is amazing dedication but severely broken…

For my guildies and friends I have made, but more are leaving for Titanfall, Warframe and some other games that have been recently released…. So I doubt I’ll be playing much longer either.

We already in the condi meta.

NA prime time is too zergy for PPT to matter I say we lock down servers for NA and EU and let us Aussies play the game without the rest of the world telling us we are not aloud to cap things while they sleep.

The solution is simple:

NA prime all servers close and make a PPT cap.
EU prime all servers close and make a PPT cap.

All Oceanic’s are free to play after being victimized constantly by these threads…

Please don’t change this until defenders get fortified gates upgrade and walls that are not death traps to anyone trying to defend.

It’s already to easy to take things in WvW with every offensive WXP mastery possible.

Defenders have warbanner and the siege that gets dragon toothed, marks, grenaded and aoe’d to death.

But yer, I prefer WvW to be a warzone, if you prefer it to be a loot bag train then please lets take away more defensive abilities and tactics or delete WvW all together and make Queensdale the new WvW map.

- You guys had a decent 20 man for a while there, but like most Achievement hunters, a couple of wipes results in doing dungeons instead of actually building siege or trying to hold anything.

DH on the other hand, had some of us running laps for a bit with just a 5-10 man group and all they did was flip camps and quick flip some towers before they built up a 30 man before too long, looking at the match up so far SF loses a fight or 2 and it’s time to give up… DH loses a fight or 2 and they try something else, and keep trying until they succeed, respect to em for that cause even a lot of GoM hunters give up at 1st wipe.

Kit and some others are still on IOJ but about 15 or more RUN came back to GoM and merged into RISE, the roamers on other servers are a lot more skilled down lower tiers and don’t run and rally 5 people 1st like they did in mid tier lol

The best way to start getting people into PvP is the community…

As it stands the PvP community is worse than ranked League Of Legends….

Every single match has these quotes:

“Go back to PvE please”
“Uninstall your game”
“l2p kitten”
“You use a cheese build cuz u bad”
“Don’t play team que if you are under rank 30 noob”
“decap engies are for hotjoins”

In short: The community is upset with the way the devs treat them, so the community takes out that frustration onto the newer players then complain strait away there are no new players in PvP….

I can personally say I enjoy the concept of sPvP, but after I get my finisher I want I won’t ever play it again due to the “l33t” community.

@OP: As to your question, I’ll give you an answer. It will be in the “feature patch” which is a mystery to all with a delivery date that is closely guarded.

Even if it does get moved back, atleast we know it was seen by atleast 1 dev….

I don’t think Anet even has a WvW team anymore and if they do then they are coding all these living stories to be out on time

I mean seriously tho… Every 2 weeks all these massive living stories are pumped out with hot fixes throughout the day of release you would think a few things from the WvW side and PvP side could be fixed to better the game play a little bit….

Make sure you aren’t using any minis (they follow you around while you’re in stealth). I’ve run into a number of teefs/mesmers who like to show off their mini Karkas, only to eat my free backstabs. Other than that, I dunno what to tell you.

After hundreds of hours of game play and having seen several player hacks, I have not run into this one. I would guess that the servers do not send stealthed movements to opposing client since it is hackable and unnecessary bandwidth. If so, that would make this hack impossible.

If I had to guess, your movements are very predictable and the player is CnD or going stealth then landing a BS. I pull this trick off with traps since they give away a players location in a fight.

I can see this guy 500-600 range away then he steals to me while I’m stealthed, so it’s not CnD… I might just be lagging or something like everyone else has been the past 2 weeks :/

Okie so basically, there is a thief I keep bumping into, I thought he was really good but it’s getting to that point where I am starting to think he hacks…

The main reason I think he has a hack that lets him see stealthed people is cause he knows exactly where I am while I’m in stealth which at first I though lucky guessing but I noticed he can also shadowstep signant to me and most importantly, he can steal from me while I’m stealthed…

I don’t mean I just became stealthed and this happens, I mean I am stealthed for a good 2-3 seconds with a spare few seconds left and he can steal to me, bas venom me and backstab me while I am in stealth…

Is there a hack that lets you do this? Or can a thief explain how to do this without the need for hacks?

CD is one of the most toxic servers on NA you guys are all better off, good luck in your new home.

Dunno about internally, but externally speaking CD has some of the nicest and best players around… Always got excited seeing them in match ups while I was on IOJ especially just to spend hours dueling and talking to some great people -looks at scolias, Istoleyourwallet and the CLAV thief-

In all fairness… Condi thieves spamming 33333333333 onto someone isn’t exactly a skillful player… I’m sure a lot of us have rolled the perplex thief and done the same only to realise everything dies

I really hope it comes through this next patch… Just a little concerned reading the sPvP forums where EVERY TOPIC has a dev replying to them that no changes are being made cause it’s a maintenance patch only…

I really hope it’s not the same for WvW, something small like WxP account bound could be the difference between how many players keep playing at the end of the week.
