Look on the bright side, tooday in a machup PS/AM/GH i had the chance to stomp 2 BB ! Epic ! and the first shock when i realised there were BB roaming in GH border ? ahahah Epic ! “muble muble” no blobbadon here..

For Anet, get us to WvW we don’t get —- about points, just reset it and let us play keep it cool !

Ps. Commander Rank should be only available in (world v world) to those who has an experienced rank, so that people like me, are not following inexperienced rich boys who think they can run around with a fancy icon and send us all too are doom.

Try to keep it on topic please, there are already some discussions on Commanders, short answer : Most commander will improve theyr commanding skills, you just need to be patient, after some time you will recognize those who can be trusted and those who can’t.

AS a WvW player I’m concerned about the last updates, I can’t figure out what gw2 will be next year.

Can we please have some heads up ?

1a) Are you planning to keep introducing more and more farming content ?
1b) Why do you think it’s necessary for the WvW comunity ?
2) WvW will be even more Pve ?
3) Will you adress the bugs and problematics of day 1 ?
4a) Can you please share your WvW view ?
4b) What are you happy with atm ?
4c) In your opinion, what you need to improve ?
5) Will you ever improve the organized group/guild pvp experience ?

Thief Stealth = Worst Mistake In The Game

Sminkiottone, here is an example of a mature suggestion for balancing out a thief.

While reducing the spam ability of thieves using stealth, Anet should look towards increasing their evasiveness and mobility, or provide more or better Crowd control abilities and utilities, for the lack of defensive options the thief has access to once stealth is moved to a more utility spot instead of being the crutch rhat makes up the majority of thief builds.

In my opinion thief has been wrongly designed, thief ( always imho ) should be the master of positioning, a nice thing would be to deal 80% of the enemy HP with a right BS, not spamable, and the stealth should not be castable in combat, it should be a tactical class to play, and deadly, now its not ! you can only outburst noobs/not paying attention kind of player, or keep stalth/burst untill you get bored, or someone make a mistake, which is not funny to play..

Me, as a lot of others are just pointing out this lack of depth in the thief mechanic, we don’t have the solution, a lot of suggestions against thiefs are just crazy, but its not our job to balance the game, it’s the developers work, I never saw that many thread against any other class but thief, there must be a reason behind it.

Look at the recent spirit ranger “nerf”, it wasn’t a real nerf, but lots of “noobs” were too used to play a simple but effective build, that they were not able to really learn the class, or like the old iway party from GW1 ( stupid build but effective ).
I think the stealth as it is right now in wvw is similar, too easy to get away and restart the fight, with less % of success, but still.. it’s kind of broken.

Stealth should not be spamable, it can be abused to easily.

In my opinion the thief is the most annoying class to fight, every time the same story : attack—> stealth—> attack—> stealth—> he runs away, in 1 year of roaming a saw maybe 2 good thiefs, I think good player don’t use it anymore, or there are simply too many noobs who reroll thief for easy fights.

I hope anet will fix stealth asap, its the most broken mechanic I ever seen.

Wxp + ascended and the upcoming leagues have “downed” the WvW, anet need just another bad idea to stomp it.

Why ? because now most people are happy when they loose a keep or a tower, they can pvd it and get Wxp and some ascended maths from the lord ! how cool is it ? how hard ? you can call it farming, and it cannot be controlled.

what do most people want ?

- Having fun with you mates ? no thx, im here to farm equipe/rank
- Improve theyr skills ? no, they don’t need it, they run with the blob.
- Wxp ? sure ! we all want them, applied fortitued anyone ?
- Ascended ? another yes, I now have a purpose finally ! GW2 was empty without ascended, who plays just for fun ?
- Leagues ? a nice way to promote more unbalanced population

- Commander :
" Can someone pls check SM ? I don’t wanth to face invaders again" while he was waiting to farm SM…

So you do play ele. Do you realise that you only heal by attuning to water(when traited), by dodge rolling(when traited) and by placing your small water field under your allies. your big waterfield doesnt heal, it applies regeneration. those are all very minor heals compared to a guardian who can heal a kitten ton by just standing somewhere(ofc only when traited).

the only real “heal” you can get with your ele is by placing your waterfields and execute some blast finisher in it. since you only have 2 of them (one with a long delay and the other with a fairly high cd) there are way better options to go for. especially if you consider that not the healingpower of the person who sets the water field is taken for calculation of the total healed hp, but the healingpower of the guy blasting your waterfield.

ofc you can still say high regeneration with high boonduration is a great heal, but since your boon sharing is capped at 5 ppl, its imho rather lackluster.

if you want to play support go guardian with hammer and staff and try a aura-share built or altruistic healing. switch to hammer when ever ppl need heal or you see a waterfield and blast it, else get your staff out and spam your 1 and 4 as much as you can. thats in my opinion the best support you can go for and still get way more loot bas and wxp then most other classes do.

Yes i play ele and i know well my class.

First of all, ele staff has 3 blast finishers + whirl finisher, so there are 4 healing finishers which gives +4k heaelings + regen each ( and regen is not a minor healing lol )

Second point, you need also earth to heal, ’couse 2 blasts are there + cc.

between attunement swap, dodges, geyser+blasts, healing rain + blasts, condition cleans, auto attack and ccs I can restore the HP of my Group many times in 1 minute, with can trips i can moove effectively inside a fight and heal ppl who get lost, healer is much more effective than you and many others think, the meta gaming is evolving, don’t lose the train

i wanted to say, playing full support without using autoattacks and class mechanics is total bs…you can support while doing dps. and there are NO healers in this game…..there is no trinity…you can go burst with guardian if you so desire and you can go full healing. still you can autoattack ppl while using your shouts and dodge rolls and what ever class mechanic u have.

Some times you have to chose between the loot and the defeat or the heals and the survival of your group, I often chose the second one.

Trust me, I use auto attacck on healer with staff ( very slow ), but when attuned to water/earth ( which is 80% of the fight ) I do very little dmg, in my experience you need to do at least 1k+ dmg to get a chance of reward, it’s not easy considering the fact that you need like 3 secs to do so ?
Sure you can get rewards, we are not saying that, all supporters get some loot, it’s the amount of it the problem, the system does not reward supportive role, and when you are builded up 80% support you are preatty scrued

And.. there are healers in this game, I’m one of them, we heal and cc very good, a zerg with 2/3 healers is way more effective than a zerg without healers.

Will Sicem actually help us against Thieves?

I think it will be very useful for us ! Alone it doesnt sound very good, but we have others ways to deal with stealth, hope they also improve the pet ai a bit, somethime it takes just too long for my pet to realize he has to use F2, and somethimes these skills do not work.

I keep getting finished by stealthed thieves who can easely do this even in an allyed zerg seeing that I am an ranger and my only interrupt abbility needs a target.

I’m sorry for all those kids who responded before.

I suggest you to try this :

1) Bring with you the Raven and the Wolf, both are very usefull against thiefs and stunlock warrios.

2) Use the Raven when fighting, with 30 in BM it has 5 secs blind every 14 1/2, very effective

3) When downed swich to Wolf, and press F2( Fear ! ) when the try to stomp you, let him bite the thief for some seconds and then swich back to Raven for his blind, between you/raven/wolf you should buy yourself some precious seconds, the mach does not end when the ranger is downed, many time i killed ppl when i was down, most of them where thiefs/rangers .. they were to busy checking at my health bar that they forgot theyrs

3) Moas are also good, they heals you and dazes the stompers, some pets have very good stuffs, you just need to take some times and try them out.

4) Ranger underwater is quite OP, if you need to ecape i suggest you to run there, the downed state underwater can be almost immortal.

Next time pay attention to guardians/eles/necros, you will se that without them the zerg would just be dead 24/7, and yes it’s not easy to heal/buff the zerg, many people are just there to farm, running around like chikens, never stacking up with commander, ecc, they don’t know how to properly play.

What? guardians, nekros and ele are the best classes for tagging enemies?

guardian – staff
nekro – wells, death shroud, staff
ele – staff

==>

nekros: aoe blind, aoe chill, aoe dps
guardians: aoe heal, retaliation spam
ele: aoe cc and aoe dps

and with all these skills you tag enemies….stop whining about how you cant get loot and wxp

We all very well know that all classes can get loot! If Elementalists AoE Dps they can get loot, if Necro’s AoE Dps they can get loot, if Guardian DPS they can get loot. Basically if you Dps you can get loot. However, supporters don’t DPS as often as others do! They will start by supporting skills and then they care for the DPS! At this point half of the foes are already dead, so it’s logic they receive half of the loot as well…

It’s a known fact in every game that Support classes (in this cases roles), receive less DPS related benefits than others. Therefore your post is completely redundant.

He didn’t understood the topic, or he doesn’t know how the combat system works, don’t waste your time with him
Too many think there are only dps roles in this game lol, ppl are quite suprised of the amount of healings i give to them, its like : “oh i tought there were no healers in this game”.. quite amusing

The main issue currently with rewarding support classes is the way that participation is determined by the game. It makes it much harder to provide sufficient incentive to people doing things like healing, defending, etc. We have some ideas to try and improve this situation, but it is complicated. The best example I can give is the events to escort the supply dolyaks, which literally just say you helped if you are standing there when it ends, which is not an accurate representation of much of anything.

Until the systems are all capable of properly determining support, it’s difficult to properly reward support and defense. We are working on solutions that I hope will make it somewhat better, however.

Is there any techical limitation ? like potential lag from too many calculations ?

SUGGESTION :

Is it possible to get the amount of loot/exp your healed party mates gets ? like every 10k hp you heal will give you 50% of his potential loot for like 1 minute ? ( he/they will still have the same loot )
We need somenthing that does not get exploited.

I would like to request a change in this:
- whenever a supportive role keeps a melee/dps alive, they should receive the same reward (with wxp) as the dps class? Or at least some % of it?

No. You auto attack something two times and you get full credit for the kill. Why do support characters act like it’s so difficult to tag?

The problem is not tagging 1 or 2 ppl, the problem is the number of loot and gold we get by supporting our team, the selfish play style is still the best option.

I’m looking for a group of people who like to roam togheter, do some guild operation and have fun while stomping some invaders !

-At the moment I’m on Pike Square but, always in the good mood for some free queue server

PGs:
- Ranger(main) multi purpose role
- Elementalist healer
- Necromancer jolly ( defence/conditioning)

I do use TS3/Vent/others.
Not very good at speaking english but I can understand without issues.
I consider my self a semi hardcore player, I alway want to improve my skill

The real problem with stealth is the ability to reset fights at will, this is quite OP, not the stealth it self, it’s a broken mechanic that is going to be fixed, at least a bit of logic.

I really like the new update ( no talking about the OP buff ), but where can I see how much I’ve done to help my server ?
Will be cool if we had some sort of feedback from this new bloodlust content, like :

- Personal score, each stomps/bloodlust circle/sentrys/dollys/Towers/keeps gives personal points ( divided by the number of Participants in case of big objectives ), and if you get stomped you actually lose points ( between 1 and 3 if im right )

// Personal score should not be like wxp, it should tell how good you are and not how long you followed the blob or how many Aoe skills you equipe.

- Somenthing to show off, like new Stomps; New titles “Stomp dude”, new armor/weapons; ecc., somenthig that reward the personal skill this time, it should not be farmable by brainless zergs aka karma trains.

All above could also be applied to the guild.

And :
-Stomping should reward much more than simply kill the enemy, like double wxp ? 100% badge loot ?

It’s Always a good time to be a ranger

I’m a ranger fanboy I know..

pros :

- Every weapons is effective and has its use, hell even the battlefield is our weapon !
- It’s a balanced class.
- Lots of different play styles.
- Some times I feel like its a multi purpose class, I got bored to play necro because it was too static on his role, ranges has no particolar role.

Cons :

- Pet’s AI.
- Not the best class in zerg.

Why don’t you play with the engi ? don’t you like it ?

Can you please give us WvWrs more alternative to gain such equipements ?

Like :

- after rank 50 every one can choose a set of ascendedtrinkets each and every month or League.
- after rank 100 every one can choose a set of ascended weapons each and every month or League.
- after rank 200 every one can choose a set of ascended armor each and every month or League.

OR :

- Trade exotic + something ( not laurels pls )for ascendent.

- Every time I make 1000 points for my server I can get a ascended piece.


What is one of the most cool thing on gw2 ? the possibility to change the equipement for almost every play style or situation, in my opinion is one of the strongest pro right now, give variety and gives us players more ways to enjoy the game.

But with ascended equipements you force people to rely only on 1 particular build for pve/wvw/zerging/roaming/other activities/ecc.. Is this intended ? It’s like with alts ? you don’t like variety anymore ?

I ask this because I’m very concerned about this vertical farm system.

I usually run on my ranger with :

x3 Short bows ( apothecary, berserker, settler’s )
x2 Long berserker bows
x4 armor sets ( settler’s, berserker, apothecary, cleric )
xX between swords/axes/torches/warnhorns ( too many to count )
x4 trinkets sets ( same as armors )
In the end I’ve something like 60 pieces of equipements in my bag 24/7, and I’ve many more pieces in my bank.

Right now I’ve been able by playing 3+ hours a day to collect for my 3 toons:
3 scended necklaces
3 ascended rings
That’s it, nothing more

I don’t think I will ever be able to get 1 full set of ascendent, I have a work and a social life to attend to :P, I understand the pople who have all day long to play GW2 will complete these sets in a couple of weeks or less, but not us, the avarage ones.

And what I’m supposed to do with the exotic equipe ? can you make them account bound or sellable ? It’s like a waste of time/energy to me.

Some will reply " you have to play PvE, craft, do everything the game offers ", Yeah guys I really tried ! I’ve farmed 2 months to get the amount of karka shells to buy my settler’s armor, this last weekend I played 50% of my free time in the karka Island ( sout-something)to buy the settler’s armor, you know what happened ? after I released the 2 easy camps all alone ( noobody was helping ) a very big Group of people + 3 commanders joined just to kill the karka queen ! in 10 mins frame the map got from 2/3 ppl to 60/70 and back to 2/3.

This is just pathetic attitude, and you know what ? I asked in map chat to help me find the armor trader but nobody helped me lol, some just poke fun of me, most of them were too busy fighting the queen I had to guest in another server and wait for them to get in the map and free the 4 needed camps, in the end I finally did it ! but now I’m traumatised by the attitude of PvErs, are you just a farm machine or something more ? do you still have blood on your veins or it has been replaced by karma liquid ?

I log into forums and every day I see a thread posted about perma stealth thief. Nabs will keep posting such threads until the receive a thief on plate for dinner.

Don’t worry good thiefs will still be good, it’s just the rest of you that will need to reroll the next Op class to win

I think you are over reacting, I normaly stomp between 2/5 ppl each 15 mins, in the same time I can cap 1/2 sentrys and 1 camp, so I will get something like 10 points/15 mins for my server.
I very love this new system, it could give the low populated server more chance to win the mach up, or at least having some fun in the borderland.
Roamers will have the possibility to balance the outcome a machup.
I think servers like Piken Square and Gandara, or any server with lots of roamers will be stronger than before compared to stacked servers like Vizunah.
coordination and guild/groups skill will have much stronger impact

well, I don’t think Anet cares much about what the thieves think. Everyone else is whining about thieves, so they keep nerfing them, so all others are happy.
As I understood it, giving reveal to rangers is just a start and other classes will follow, wait another month and all classes can reveal us. So as soon as we fight against 2 we are dead, because we can’t stealth anymore.
I bet this class will be broken until Chrismas.
Right now, I can at least farm most players, because they just suck.
When fighting against good players, you really have a hard time already.
To be honest, a good ranger doesn’t need the reveal to kill you, if he knows when to dodge and when to block, but with it he has it much easier.

We will see how many rangers will use that skill. What annoys me is, that there is a skill which focuses on a single class. I mean, mesmers can also stealth, no question, but in 1v1 fights, they can’t use it often.
So which other skills exist in this game, which are against one class?

Thief as it is right now is almost immortal with stealth, is there a reason becuase most ppl roam with thief ? yes, it’s the easiest class right now, it compensate the lack of skill,
I hope this will change as soon as possible, all class should be able to counter thiefs, as thief is able to counter all builds.
It’s not gonna destroy the class, this is the first step to balance broke mechanics, the most broken was stealth.

I don’t think it will be as bad as you think, you will always be able to dodge or counter “Sick’em”, it will give the ranger a real possibility to counter stalth, which wasn’t possible.
It should have ben like this from the beginning, finally anet is adressing this problem.

Those balance fixes look very cool !

Can I propose an idea for support sigils ?
Right now there are not many support sigils available for elementalist ( we cant’ switch weapons in combat), I like to run helear/buffer and the only viable sigil to improve his effectiveness is the [superior sigil of life].

Some ideas :

. + 5% healing power.
. + 5% stack duration.
. 30% on dodge, give protection to all nearby allies.
. 30% on skill, cure a condition to all nearby allies.

The rank is a carrot and it’s per character limitation is an unnecessary burden for those with alts. The reasons given as to why we can’t just make it account bound are dubious at best.

just because you dont like the reason does not mean that its not a valid reason…its character progression(notice character not account)….i swear the next thing you all will be complain about its having to actually lvl your alts to lvl 80 and the funniest part about that is it you can use the exact same reasoning behind it…its not alt friendly that i have to lvl my alts..its not alt friendly that i have to gear my alts bla bla bla….really get over it..its ment to be something to work for on your toons and yes i do have 4 different toons i use for wvw alone so i know how it all works and am happy with it

There are people like me who play support class when running with guild, try to get at rank 115 with a healer/buffer lol.
And hey I didn’t know I could get to lvl 1000 with my toons, after 80 you earn only skill points I think, wvw rank is a vertical and costant progression untill rank 1000, the two things can’t be compared.

And I’ve already worked hard for my toons, more than it should be, I enjoy the game without grinding my selft to death.

Except that I didn’t die. And got at least 2 people whine after every match. Thief is my full time pvp now. Get your facts straight or kitten. Plz. For us all.

They love to much the easy mode, it’s just impossible to discuss with them
I’m still waiting for one of those pro thiefs to show me he can kill lots of good thiefs with a ranger, they say its easy job, not gonna happen.

The counter to stealth no one uses.

A thief is not worth 15 badges +500 karma +10 supplys, I would prob run out of badges in 1 night, but nice try.

What if a new player starts next year ? most people will already be full ascendent with guard leech and applied fortitude, it’s not gonna be funny, or what if anet decide to implement another class ? just think

They said they would introduce liquid karma to help people like me who play 2+ toons, strange thing is that I just got 2 boost since, I made like 10 ranks with the ranger and 6/7 ranks with the ele, that doesn’t help much!

Each rank up with the main toon should give 100% chance to receive a wxp boost for your next rank with the second toon ( not quit sure if its understandable ), this would help a little Anet

If you take away stealth as it is now Thieves have nothing. We don’t have any other damage mitigation(Protection or retal) we dont have a constant regen like warriors/guardians/rangers. We dont even have stability.

So one of you geniuses crying about stealth tell me what would be the reason to play a thief if they nerfed stealth?

We don’t want to take away stalth, we just want it to be in line with the other skills.
No profession can restart a match at will, this is quite OP.

Thiefs have too many pros in small fights, and when I hear people saying Thief is ok l2p, I just lol, it’s like they never tried any other class.

1 cool thing would be footsteps when the thief is hidden, still hard to catch but would be at least possible, thief shouldn’t be 100% invisible ( can’t actualy see him ).

WvW is the only game mode with a direct counter to stealth in tactically necessary situations, so this whole thread is busted. Stealth traps people. If thieves are ruining your sieges learn to drop them and problem solved. If this is an issue with personal 1v1 battles against thieves though, this is the wrong place, and frankly it is more of a personal L2P issue at that point.

The stat boost, while controversial, is there to give the buff meaning in the context of the general WvW battle. Providing boosts like %WXP, etc. don’t have impact in fights against other sides, they are just a nice bonus for you. The stat boost and the points for finishing players mean that not only do you want to have the buff, but you don’t want your opponents to have it.

But people dont care for things like this! People care for FUN fights, these must be equal or close to it, those that every move make a difference in the out come not some silly extra stats due to more coverage on another map

Your wrong. People do like these things, like myself. Don’t just say no one wants it when its just the small forum base complaining.

Nope, do you speak for all of us ? don’t think so. The only sure thing is that in this forum most people like fair and even fights and don’t want care bears equip

The two most popular topic out of three in the last month is about Bloodlust. There are really really serious talks about this and there are a huge number of ideas around. Yet, there are only two post made by a dev and both doesnt really say much about it.

This ignorance is really killing me right now.

Doing so would invalidate the time people spend acquiring that gear. I think the heart of your post is in the right place, but what we would rather do is make possible for people to get the gear by playing WvW with a sprinkling of PvE, rather than the other way around.

Did any GW1 players feel “invalidated” because their high end armor (chaos gloves, obsidian armor, rare weapons, etc) did not give them an advantage over other players who didn’t want to spend their time acquiring such items? No. That was part of what made GW1 great.

You should apologize to GW1 developers man, this game should never be compared to GW2, gw2 is a festival of bad ideas badly implemented, they should realy learn from theyr predecessors.

@Tom Gore I think its more like they are deciding which activity has priority, like they give more resources to places like sm, or when 2+ zergs fights, this is my personal opinion, but could be it, ‘couz a friend was with the zerg and he had less problem than me fighting 3vs3, and I leave in a country where internet connections are very reliables, he doesn’t .

Very nice idea ! I would love to do it, I just imaggine something like the orb speed ( very slow ) and I would not let the player decide when to drop the boundle ( maybe only if hes downed ) to prevent this mechanic to be too easy and farmable.
Everything that promote roaming is well accepted and supported keep the nice ideas coming

Quotes like this are somewhat worrisome… who’s going to play if they think they’re going to be destroyed — not by skill, but because their opponent has owned the game longer. New players will especially be discouraged from WvW.

It mostly shows that nobody takes his time to do some simple math. Get the data from the official wiki and let’s calc:

Neck: Ascended has 126 points on main stat, 85 points on secondary stats (x2), 5 points from infusion (can be: power, precision, cond damage for offensive and vit, toughness or heal for defensive or 0 for utility slots) – Exotic has 115 on main stat, 79 on secondary stats (x2)

Ring: (asc) 103/68 + 5 vs (exo) 92/63

Accessory: (asc) 91/60 + 5 vs (exo) 81/55

Back: (asc) 56/35 + 5 vs (exo) 43/31

2h weapon: (asc. ) 188 main stat, 134 secondary stats, +10 from 2 infusion slots and 49-55 damage vs (exo. ) 179/128

The difference breakdown is:

  • 11 points on main stat, 6 point for each secondary stat (neck)
  • 11 points on main stat, 5 point for each secondary stat (each ring)
  • 10 points on main stat, 5 points for each secondary stat (each accessory)
  • 13 points on main stat, 4 poins for each secondary stat (back)
  • 9 points on main stat, 6 points for each secondary stat (2h weapon)
  • 40 points from infusions
  • 49-55 weapon damage

Total: +75 main stat, +36 for each secondary stat, +40 points from infusions, 49-55 weapon damage

If I didn’t fail miserably on my math, that’s pretty much the difference that you have if you play against someone using a lv 80 food and you don’t have any on you, and I wouldn’t call it game breaking.

Just lol, if you wanna do math do it right, you Forgot wvw ability and sigil stack.
Trust me all those thing are game breaking, and what if Anet adds more tiers ? you will still be happy with -30% stats ?
Using or not food can change the outcome of a battle ( not Always ), I use +100 healing +70 hp and +6% of power from toughness and +4% from hp, penuts right ?

Some are forgetting that a fair match is far more apretiated than any shiny Rainbow equipe, to them I’ll just say : Try not to blob up and use your personal skill roaming in small/medium groups, you will see that we already have too many balance problems, go add all those buffs and the deadly kittentail is served.

Yesterday night I was unable to swap attunement or even autoatack in EB, we in Piken had no queue, or a small one in that particolar time. It seems to me anet servers are slowly dying down.

Well, lots of your stataments are nor true.
1 thing is correct, some classes/builds are OP, Anet already said they will shave here and there.
They also have to fix skill/runes bugs, but again, and I don’t think the anet team is good enough for this, they know a lot of things are broken, but they don’t know how to fix them.

I dislike them all.
1. Guard leech and applied fortitude
2. Weapon stacks, ppl use to stack with mobs and then they change set of weapon, not fair, easy to buy for anyone but still, its not supposed to stay if you equipe other weapons after that.
3. Ascendent, the Whole set when it will be implemented will kill the last bit of fairness.
4. bloodlust will give extra “stats” on top of everythin else.

How in the hell I’m supposed to get all those things for my 3 pg ? I haven’t yet been able to equipe my toons with ascendent trinkets ( my main has 3 pieces, my last one has only the necklace ), my main is also rank 91 and my last one is rank 33, im not able to have applied fortitude nor guard leech, things ain’t getting better with the new ascendent weapons.

Lots of bad ideas imho, but still ideas.

1. Aoes kills brain cells, don’t you prefer a better combat system ? and anet would need more coal to run theyrs machines :P
3. I don’t like it, I like even fights
4. More sieges ! why not ? something like a cover-shield for rams/players to protect them from Arrows ( can be damaged ), lots of possibilitys.
5. Orbs mechanic is like point 3, not gonna like it
