IMO the whole concept of servers is a bad idea from the start, districts are a better solution because you can simply change district or join up in a less populated district without server problems.
in WvW they should’ve made it like AB (but with 3 factions), you join a faction and you fight for it, simple.
Why not sell GW1 in the GW2 gemstore?
Because you can’t play GW1 from within GW2 and giving it away for free isn’t really that smart from a business point of view.
you can’t play from GW2 but you can sell from GW2, if they sell GW1 trough the gem store then you can end up with GW1 accounts already linked to GW2 and Anet has quite a big profit from it in the end.
The game felt so huge.
By the time I bought it, the EOTN had been released. I played all the way from the northernmost edge in Jaga Morraine down to the southernmost areas in Cantha, all across the parched plains of Elona and up to again the endlessly burning forests of the Charr area.
I miss the scale and scope of the dungeons. Not cramped rooms filled with seemingly endless trash mobs but whole maps in their own right where you carefully maneuvered among the mobs, taking them out one by one. (And the Dreadspawn Maw in the Domain of Anguish, aka DoA or Dead on Arrival, scared the spit out of me by coming out of the ground right beside me the first time I was there). The Guild Wars 2 dungeons don’t evoke the same feelings of battling dangerous foes.
By comparison, Guild Wars 2 feels so much smaller.
Keep in mind, I was able to finish all four Guild Wars 1 titles in a single week once.
I was talking about moving across the landscape and how big it felt. How big the dungeons were and how hard to fight the individual mobs were. Not whether one person could finish the game fast if they wanted to.
Guild Wars 1 (not dungeons the world) gave the illusion of size by limiting where you could and couldn’t go. It felt big because you could never go in a straight line to anywhere. You snaked back and forth on a path or one of a couple of paths through a large zone that was mostly inaccessible.
Take a look at the area north of Piken Square. It’s not really that big. But it’s very very hard to navigate. The illusion of size.
Oh I know all that. I didn’t say they were bigger, I said they gw1 felt bigger. And it still does, Guild Wars 1 gives the illusion of more space by being spread out across a bigger potion of the known maps. By having Elona and Cantha, the Crystal Desert and the far north. By having the ring of fire and the huge dungeons that were whole maps in their own right.
There may be more map to Guild Wars 2 but it feels much more limited in size without the other continents and the large dungeons.
You did say this is a thread about nostalgia and this is what I feel nostalgic for.
GW1 maps was way bigger ..time how long it takes to cross a map in gws 1 vs gws 2….the maps was/ are huge vs the maps of gws 2
They are the same – LOL there is no difference in the size, except that GW1 you had the map instance for your party only. It is a fake difference. Also you had to fight your way through the maps – that makes it feel different also. Having more people on a map makes it feel smaller also.
The maps are the same size. Don’t believe me – http://zoom.it/TWLx#full
GW1 is bigger, they had to shrink the GW1 map to make the GW2 map fit.
also, your link only adds icons on the GW2 map, it doesn’t prove anything. Is this an opinion or can you back that up with evidence?
i can but i need to make it from scratch, can’t find the LA from before….

i have never ever paid for even one single trait and refuse to do the lame objectives for traits, i ether get then for leveling up to lvl 30 or ill ignore it completely.
a trait is something that makes a profession different from others, this lame system makes every single profession the same and adds allot more chore.
warn ppl when making a feature pack Anet, we first need to approve of the changes before you screw things up.
you have done it in the april feature pack and you have done it in the september feature pack (screwing up level progress), stop screwing things up and start listening to players.
ever thought about the part where language has nothing to do with how something is called in a game?
also, SPELLING NASI ALERT
Assassins were a very acquired skill back then, as I recall. Needing to have a lead-offhand-dual strike combo was far more annoying than even the warrior’s weapon/adrenaline requirements (which were a smaller pain, but still an issue). I’d rather have the thief.
so you rather depend on a point count that locks every single weapon skill then a system that keeps every skill independent……..sure…
sure, the lead→off-hand→dual skill system simply doesn’t work in GW2 but i really can’t stand the thief, i rather have the assassin so i can decide which skill i use without constantly being stopped by a point counter.
it’s not the culture they’re worried about, it’s the architecture.
they can get away with making one race with a 100% japanese influenced backstory but they can’t if the tengu uses both japanese and chinese architecture.
don’t ask me why they don’t want it, it has to do with the fragile political relation the 3 big asian countries has but that’s all i know.
I will just tell a little story that I hope ANet can take a lesson from.
I work in an accounting firm. Right after tax season we were told that we were getting a new computer system to track our time and billing. The admin staff were given weeks of training so they could help teach the rest of us noobs. The company who made the program sent in people to give us days worth of training. We used the system for about a month before realizing it was much worse than the previous system. Our firm owners owned up to this and announced they made a mistake to implement the system and had decided to uninstall it and go back to the old one.
Every person in the office cheered. We now call it the program that will not be named. We ALL had 100% respect for the owners for accepting they made a mistake and then for fixing it FAST. I’m sure they spent tens of thousands of dollars, at a minimum. Yet they sucked it up and made the right call.
So…… seriously. What the hell is up?
I wouldn’t be surprised if they didn’t get at least part of their investment back because the system didn’t live up to what was promised.
ANet, on the other hand, will recover NOTHING of the money they’ve invested into this system.
actually you have to see Anet as the software developers and we (the players) are the customers of the product, they should bring back the old system and only keep the good part (freely appointing trait points) so we (the customers) are satisfied with what was promised.
The game felt so huge.

if i wanted to i could finish GW2 within a week too and GW2 has 4X more levels to go trough, GW1 is still at least 3X bigger in land mass and i am not even talking about dungeons, PvP arena’s, AB arena’s, elite missions and such…..
do keep in mind that the charr were manipulated in to believing a false religion, EotN even shows you the uprising of rebel charr soldiers who (in GW:EotN and beyond) created a bond to fight false gods even if it meant to be allies with humans.
the charr war around ebon hawk was against flame legion charr, eventually you saw more and more charr rebel against their oppressors.
ofcouse before that king adelbern already cursed the land, the charr blame ebon hawk’s citizens give is found in the believe every single charr is the same. (and as we know, that’s not the case)
if you want to look at who killed who and who has the right to have ascalon, look first who was more righteous.
the humans lived there for about 1000 years(after scaring away the charr), the charr that struck back were flame legion charr and not the PC charr we know in GW2.
From what I understand, Lion’s Arch was destroyed as part of the Living Story.
it seems odd to me, given all the technology of the asura, and the architectural marvels that are the race’s cities, that no rebuilding attempt has been made.
Lion’s Arch is a sovereign pirate city-nation. Their motto is “From ruin we prosper”. The only people repairing Lion’s Arch are the pirates kittenide there.
The Asuran government in Rata Sum won’t help Lion’s Arch. Why? There are no political or social connections between the two nations. Counselor Phlunt’s behavior also demonstrates that the Asuran government only care about themselves (See LS2: Episode 3 & 4).
the asura had quite a big trading post in LA, they even saw profit in rebuilding LA the first time it was destroyed (or at least, the LA lion).
they do care but they have problems of them self, you know, with all the vines taking down their land and such…..
dont understand why people even buy
And that exactly is the problem, nobody buys them because they are practically useless.
And this is the part where you are wrong because people DO buy it.
and get cheated in the progress
that’s nothing, i ones saw chest armor for 1G and this particular armor was just for lvl 20……really……1G?
I don’t really understand.
People are fine with the mechanism to artificially lengthen the play time. Namely, the achievements being locked until after the first play through. People are fine with exclusive achievements requiring yet more play-throughs.
But you lose your patience for some repeated dialogue?
If I had my way, achievements would be awarded the very first time through. And you would also have the option to skip the dialogue if you have no interest in it.
Just that complaining about one without having a problem with the other… baffles me.
I’m with you on this, i don’t see the story part as much as a time waster as making me go trough it a second time just for the achievements.
it’s like watching a movie, only when watching it a second time you get something to drink and a comfy couch to sit on.
i mean, if there is nothing but the story and i have to stand there watching the movie for absolutely no reason i would simply stop watching the movie and ignore the crap out of it.
what if everything is like that, you can only unlock the survivor achievement when you have at least made it ones or you can only get master of overkill if you have at least done it ones and you have to do this with a second character.
no really, what’s the fun in that?
OK, looks like paragraphs are too hard to understand. I’m going to demonstrate this trait unlock nonsense into simple conversation between veteran player and new player. New player is very casual, and play only on weekend for 3 hours each. He currently has 20g in his wallet.
Vet player: Hey what build are you running?
New player: oh, it’s 6/6/1/0/0
Vet: oh that old (blah) build. You should try the new 0/0/1/6/6 meta build. It’s really good!!
New: Ah ok, brb unlocking traits.
(ONE MONTH LATER)
New: yay, I finally got the traits for new meta!
Vet: Hey, long time no see. We are now playing 0/6/6/1/0. It’s newest meta build. You should try it! It’s amazing!
New: ………..How long did it took for you to unlock all traits T_T?
Vet: Oh, all of them were available and free to swap as we level before the feature pack.
New: ………..Sorry, I gotta go now cya later.
(New player uninstalls GW2)
I hope you can understand how bad all these are. The part that truly demolished the new player is knowing that he got ripped off by this change because he did not join the game earlier.
Yeah, while I enjoy the game I don’t know if I could recommend it to any of my friends in its current state. New players just have so much grinding to do now before they can reasonably keep up with vets.
One thing I don’t think arenanet considered is how this affects new players going into wvw and dungeons. The trait changes seriously weaken low level players and its painful to try WvW pre80 now. Or to hop into dungeons at 35. These changes make it much harder to group up with my friends and have them fairly contribute.
Hop into dungeons at 35? Who does that? No one. Since I started playing this game, it’s level 80 or get out of my party. The trait system and dungeon mechanics relating to the traits and class abilities available at individual dungeon levels all needs a serious fix.
and that’s the reason why they should ether fix the level scaling in it’s correct way (so even ascended/legendary gear is still at masterwork rank lvl 35 in AC) or make all dungeons lvl 80-only.
i currently can’t stand dungeons because they are nothing more then arena’s with spamallot enemies on veteran rank or higher, GW1 dungeons are much better because there a dungeon is less about killing overpowered enemies and more about actually solving a dungeon. (that, and all dungeons are LVL 20-only unless you wanna try your luck)
there is a collecting achievement that grands you dark matter, i believe it’s one of the armor ones
what i would do?
change port location
the water areas would be sucked dry and a huge defensive dam is build, not just a wall but a part of the city is build on top of it with a whole shipyard attached to it so it looks like a part of the city.
old LA in better glory
with all the water gone, the old part of lions arch is now the center with a new and improved fountain.
asura portals are now around the main square making it a central area of any player to go, even the PvP portals are closer to keep everything in one area.
new building everywhere with streets and alleys to make the city even more grand, every shop has their own actual shop to go in (as in, an actual building) and the bank has it’s own central building.
a change of name
in my mind i would change the entire city in an actual city, filled with everything a true central city has to look like.
with that, i would call it “lions arch city” (or lion’s city, which one is better) representing the power and strength of the alliance of the five races.
the fountain will even have a statue with all five races in it, making a central statement.
the style of LA
this city will no longer look like a fort with some houses made of stranded ships, this city will look like a street filled city with the tech of all 5 races.
there will be guards with guns made by charr and enhanced scopes produced by the asura, sylvari will have farms to grow food for everyone while humans produces them ready to buy.
it will be a city like never before shown, a city that will make a big step forward in to the next generation of civilization.
ps. i could try and make this on a map editor but it’s gonna take a while, ill try nonetheless.
i actually rather have no rewards beside the normal ones like skill points and trait points, i have no use for stuff i am never gonna use anyway or can’t even sell.
i don’t want to see a level-up window every time i level up and that also counts for the renown hearts, just do it automatic and be done with it.You can always delete a reward you don’t like. People who would prefer rewards can’t manufacturer them if the game doesn’t provide them.
but you still get an annoying reward screen, the one thing that gets on my nerves.
sure, i could ignore it but Anet loves to annoy ppl with blinking and moving icons, making ignoring the icon an impossibility.

So, you’ve seen how a scythe works, right? It cuts grass at the bottom. The scythe is designed to cut things down low so the action makes sense, and would look awkward decapitating someone.
The story I heard was that the scythe was supposed to sever the silver thread that connects the soul to the body. It may have been a golden thread, I can’t remember for sure. Anyway, I have no idea how you would animate that.
would make no sense anyway, only the norn (from nordic mythology) has that power, you would end up with 3 ladies. (one young, one adult and one old)
it’s actually really simple to fix this, make sure events only scale when a player is attaching, any pet or minion (or whatever) doesn’t count in the scaling and is completely ignored.
The most oddball thing about it to me:
You only “need” lvl 500 crafting if you do a lot of high level FotM.
Seems like there wouldn’t be a lot of overlap between hardcore dungeon runners and crafting enthusiasts, but I don’t make the rules :-P
think nether and you see the problem, not everyone has time to play GW2 every single day nor does everyone see the fun in getting everything as ASAP.
Yeah. That will go over well for a game rated for teens.
but it’s totally ok to fall of cliffs for a reward or to stab in the crotch (the assassin finisher does that….ouch.)
you know the fun thing about PC’s, you can adjust everything in the way you want it.
most PC players use the KBM but some rather use a controller, the PC has plenty of alternatives for that. (the X360 controller isn’t the only choice)
the only single good thing about a console is that games start the moment you enter the disk, then again, the PC can have every single game simply behind an icon on your desktop or startbar.
so no disk needed except for older games that still require the game disk (or when the PC doesn’t have internet), consoles need all kinds of back handed work to do the same and some are illegal.
so beside all the problems and profit loss Anet would have, it’s simply foolish to release GW2 on a console.
I’m still surprised that so many companies are foolish enough to focus on console-only games when the PC offers so much freedom, even from a technical standpoint it’s simply smarter to release a game on the PC.
I’m not saying that games should never be released on consoles, everyone has their own taste, but to grimp them self to a console only to realize the PC would free them up is just dumb.
really, when companies make a game for the console, they have to keep everything so simple because it still needs to work on a controller.
they did it on mass effect, 1 button for 3 functions and cut certain features out because it would not fit. (like jumping, they could’ve made the game with jumping included to make the flat combat more 3D but controllers only have so many buttons)
the PC is superior in every way and doesn’t cost anything extra to release on, you have a hard time to find even one reason to release GW2 on any console.
so in short, find a place where silk is common and cash in big time.
Of course—let’s add lag
weather affects your system at least 300% less then a mild populated town, the most you might have is a FPS drop of 2-5FPS. (skyrim has weather and it doesn’t affect my machine for even a bit, some other MMO’s have the same but with no performance loss or lag)
anyway, i would love to see weather but why stop there?
not just weather but also seasons, it would add allot of life in the game world.
autumn with orange/brown leaves everywhere, winter with ether rain or snow, spring with rain and new life in trees and plants, summer with heat waves and full blooming forests.
it’s a ton of work but worth it, they want a living breathing world, that’s how you do it.
i always use midnight fire at slots where it go’s black, it’s allot more black than abyss but it depends on the armor and dye slot you put it on.
nice guide….if you have the tomes in the first place which i don’t have, i don’t play PvP of any kind so i would love to see you repeat that without even one second of PvP….
It was a messy implementation. I’m just surprised the company didn’t realize how many detailed updates would be needed to make this giant of an overhaul actually not have major issues. It’s like building the game from scratch. It can’t be done just a little bit. Imagine trying to change the foundation of a house this way. It would topple.
They did rebuild most of the game from scratch by completely changing the difficulty curve as well as stat gains on level up. The massive number of bugs shows that they did not think this through very well or test the changes properly before the patch went live.
and that’s why a PTS is needed, they think they have everything under control while in fact they are messing with things they can barely keep up with.
the only advice i have is, talk to GW1 story writers, they know how it’s done.
i see allot of complains about the poll, in the mean time it still does the job, making clear the level-up “update” should’ve never bin done in the first place.
I can’t see it ever happening. Early on they talked about looking into making a console version but it was dropped fairly quickly.
Things like needing a keyboard are the easy problems to solve. (Especially on the WiiU where you could put a virtual keyboard, or even a keypad type set-up on the controllers touch screen.)
Voice chat would be harder because currently GW2 has no built in voice chat, everyone uses 3rd party programs. I don’t know if the WiiU has voice chat which can run at the same time as the games, but if it does you would probably still be restricted to only speaking to other people playing on the WiiU since it’s unlikely to be cross-compatible with Team Speak, Mumble, Vent etc.
The bigger problems are things like the console manufacturers charging developers for every update their game gets and restricting how often, when and what size those updates can be.
And also having to make sure all the updates are compatible with the hardware. That’s not such an issue with single-player games but MMOs can have a lifespan equal to a console, or even longer (Ultima Online for example came out around the same time as the N64 and is still going today) and sooner or later they need the flexibility to upgrade, and to assume their users can upgrade too.
and if you didn’t know, you could easily build a computer that runs GW2 at around $400. I certainly hope you are not one of those consumers that buys the ready-made gaming PC’s at 60% mark-up from bestbuy. PC building is easy.
Considering the OP originally put the amount in ‘kd’ and then converted it to dollars I’m guessing they’re not in the States (or Europe). I don’t know what currency kd is short for but I do know that in a lot of the world building a custom PC is very expensive because all the parts have to be imported and a combination of shipping fees and currency conversions drives the price up a lot.
you shud kno by now that theres nothing impossible
I didn’t say it was impossible. I was listing some of the reasons it wouldn’t be worth the time and effort required for Arenanet to do it.
It is worth the time to play a multiplayer game on a TV , Destiny also has updating world, such as events and quest, also the story mode is never offline, the whole game works online and full HD all the time, If Anet were to make a game on ps4-WiiU , They’ll win alot of money especially when it comes to PS4, again you yurself said it never impossible, Hey Destiny got PvP’s too! , then NCSoft will start making new gen games for consoles, every problem solve ~ is another reveal ;D
regardless of console, Anet needs to pay the console owners to release their game on them, they also need to pay every month for access trough their server base.
Anet will only lose money from releasing games on consoles, let alone the amount of work that is behind making GW2 console compatible and the loss of features you have to deal with.
destiny was developed with the console in mind, GW2 has always bin made with all the control a PC can give.
Actually, it takes you to the exchange section, where you can exchange your gems for gold, or your gold for gems. And “pay to win” doesn’t mean what you seem to think it means.
Pay to win, is, and always meant: BUYING POWER.
It’s always meant that. It NEVER exclusively meant a single Weapon or Item that no one else could ever earn from playing the game normally and could only be gained with real money. That red herring argument was created by game marketers themselves as a defense for every other variation of BUYING POWER. Don’t recite it here. It’s a fabrication.
then i have to ask you, what power can you buy?
there is nothing in the store that gives you in any way an advantage you can’t get in-game over another player, pay-to-win means that you pay real money to get more powerful then any other player can ever be, the one thing you can’t do in GW2.
adding limits to an already limiting experience is always a bad thing, don’t sugarcoat it and say only “some” changes are needed.
they need to completely change it so everything is there from point 1, i can understand the level limit of utility/elite skills like the way it has always bin but there is absolutely no reason for the limits set in the current system.
and don’t start with the “but new players” because we all were new players, never had any problem understanding the game, only have a problem with Anet’s thought pattern.
-remove trait unlock
-done
really, that’s all they need to do yet they keep on pulling the same string over and over again, if they want it closer to GW1 then make it like that but don’t give us basic MMO crap.
statement before CB:
-no level grind
-skills not attached to levels but when you do battle
-play the game the way you want from the start
they were key selling points and it did exactly that, made playing the game allot more enjoyable and you didn’t have to worry about anything.
the situation after the september feature pack:
-player level is the most important indicator
-skills locked behind levels
-level grind is the number one importance due all the ability level locks.
this limits players enjoyment of the game, removes all the freedom we previously had and makes GW2 the most grind filled and limiting MMO of all MMO’s.
even ST:ToR, a freemium game that limits allot of thing, and champions online, that blocks pretty much half the game, isn’t as bad as this crap.
Anet, can you give me an honest answer and please, be direct.
who is so stupid to think that western players would even enjoy 1% of this new leveling system?
i mean, i already don’t like the new renown heart reward screen (what’s wrong with auto accept like before?), now you make the level system the worst of all MMO’s and when you realize how many MMO’s are out there, that’s quite a damper.
when i think of an expansion, i think about new land and big changes that changes the way players play the game.
in GW1 we first has proph, when factions was released we found a way to quickly get a character max level and PvP players had a way to play with whole alliances against other alliances.
nightfall brought heroes in the game and insignia’s/inscriptions were removed from armors/weapons while changed as a separated thing, this gave the players the ability to focus more on builds and less about what armor/weapon to buy.
now i do know that they are all three chapters rather then expansions but with the way it go’s, GW2 is in dire need of a chapter size expansion.
start from lvl 50-60 and build a whole land with that idea, expand this land to the brink and introduce new and exiting features the base game doesn’t offer.
they never stated anything about the crystal desert which is a pity, there is so much land to expand to and all we get is a pathetic piece of land, one of the smallest area’s both GW2 and GW1 has to offer.
The maps in guild wars 2 do feel a bit bigger than their counterparts in gw1, But we are still missing so many areas that were in gw1. Rest of maguuma, Rest of eotn areas, Crystal desert, Ring of fire isles, All of Cantha, All of elona. How was the gw1 dev team able to pump out new maps/content so fast? The gw2 dev team is bigger so you would think they could bring out maps/content much faster than the gw1 team, I would love to know what they do in the office all day.
Lets remember GW1 was almost all private instances. Only part of GW1 that was “open world” was city hubs. That affects development.
And GW 2 had more content at launch than all three games. The last two years are content fixes, because the game launched way too early.
-only 1/10 the amount of armors (could be less)
-only 80% of tyria playable, let alone elona and cantha
-just about 1/10 of the skills available per profession
-8 professions instead of 10
-5 dance emotes instead of 10
-no henchmen nor any hero
-more gear based
-poor story writing
-no normal missions
-no typical GW quests
-no tactics in battle needed
-dungeons incorrectly scaled
and the list go’s on, i am 100% positive GW1 has way more content within 2 years then GW2.
in fact, GW1 is by many players still seen as superior, the simple reason is because everything is simple yet filled with content.
in EotN they fixed the one problem everyone hated, when you have to protect an NPC and because of the chaos the NPC dies, forcing you to restart the mission.
they also added res shrines everywhere so your wipe isn’t game over, i have never seen anyone complain about it and i see no reason to start now.
end game is what you make out of it, rush the game and you shoot your self in your foot, take it one step at a time and you have no need for the so called “end game” content.
when they stated you could dress as any NPC in the game, the first thing i thought was “so i can finally mix armors with the ones NPC’s wear”.
now all w can wear is what they allow us to wear, quite a twist of promises don’t you thing, i wanted to use this dress and mix the top with anise’s corset.
games like rift, lotro, perfect world and such don’t have problems like that, there is a wardrobe system superior to that of GW2.
all you have to do is slot the skin in a separated slot and it will mask the armor with that of the skin, the original armor will still stay the same but you just don’t see it.

read and judge for your self, i know rift doesn’t allow weapon skins that way but it can always be made that way in GW2.
I have at least one guildie that wants a beagle. I’ve seen no requests for specialty minis like that in here, so hopefully those little three-packs can return.
Along those lines, I’d love a cat mini that looks like a real cat. I think the ANet animal artists are dog people, because the canines all look astounding with perfect animations and the cats all look chunky and low rez with animations none of the cats I’ve ever owned have used. Except the tiger from the cat tonic, that’s exactly how a tiger should look.
-play GW1,
-get 9 points in the HOM
-done!!!

nuff said!!!!!!!!!!
it’s about time they updated the scroll, only for lvl -20 is almost useless after playing the game for 2 years.
make them rise 10 levels at each time at lvl 20 and above, then it’s useful at any given time.
i dunno about you but i have more things to pay for then a game and my incomes isn’t exactly perfect, i also don’t have all the time in the world to farm my butt off just for some gold.
The game, unlike many others, allows you to buy nearly anything with your choice of gold (earned in the game) or cash (spent on gems); you can exchange the one for the other, so in effect, the game allows you the option of spending money or time. From my point of view, that’s very generous compared to most other games. (Heck, WoW still charges you a monthly fee even if you don’t play.)
If I understand you correctly, you’re suggesting that the game should also cater to people without money or time. If you can offer a constructive suggestion for how ANet might turn a profit from that, I’m sure they would consider it.
when i spend real money on a game, i better get my money’s worth.
Everyone’s definition of “money’s worth” is different. If you don’t believe you would get ten euros of entertainment from spending €10, then, of course, you shouldn’t spend it.
try again…..
I believe the ball is in your court: the system — and why it’s “fair” for the community as a whole — has been explained. What’s the alternative, that serves the need of game and its economy (including both buyers and sellers of gems)?
I always find it fascinating that the same people who won’t spend $10 on Gems->Gold (and would rather farm for ~15 hours to make the equivalent gold) have absolutely NO problem paying $10 (or more) to go see the latest 90-minute “Batman” movie. I guarantee you they wouldn’t work for the Movie Theater for 15 hours @ 75¢ an hour just to be able to see a movie.
funny, i do nether, fascinating indeed……-_- (really, a adult guy in a rubber suit running around with a boy……what kind of sick mind likes that……)
