Ok so you are taking over EB when the map is a ghost town and have almost no resistance. You have far too many Omega their damage is crap for gates. Alpha golems should only use skill 1 to attack it is the fastest rate of dps. You really need to work at having golems stack and port them across the map and to gates. Always clear cannons and oil before moving golems to a gate. If this was in tier one you would not have made it to the first tower

And if tier 1 players were in tier 7, they would have transferred to tier 1 and never taken the keep.

I do not agree WvW could use a bit more prestige. People have things goin to their head enough as it is. Somehow every server is better at fighting bigger numbers than every other server they’ve fought.

Having a different opinion on how to act in a situation does not make one a " troll commander ".
When you run with your own guild, you are free to do however you want, but when you are leading a public group of random players, you must respect others. WvW is not your personal play ground. Every player in WvW has the same rights.

This isn’t about rights. This is about a spy/griefer ruining WvW sieges for an entire server/BL zerg. Honestly, read the thread. This is not Birmingham in the middle of the 20th century.

Without Rekz and FTF, Ebay would be Borlis. Until these two guilds show up, Ebay isn’t particularly dangerous. Sure pk can field a zerg but so can Borlis during our high population hours. BP does lack organization and strategy but that comes from being mostly a PUG server.

Thanks but you’re not giving enough credit to those guilds who man our borderlands all the time(mostly by our small to medium sized guilds). That almost solid defense at our home bl..FTF wasn’t responsible for that. Our guild is usually on the offense. Then there’s GH and pK. These 2 guilds raid almost everyday!

That’s one reason to move back to defend your borderland, yes. But in my experiences you can find several reasons to move your guild back to a map and I think several reasons to stay. The choice isn’t clear to me.

Also I am usually happy to laugh with someone in WvW, I’m not ever ready to laugh at anyone.

The Defend the Keep event won’t start unless a gate or wall is being damaged, so it must have ended shortly after they took down the inner gate, causing the waypoint to be open during the whole fight in the Lord’s room.

If a group gets ported past the inner gate, could they attack the npcs without setting off the swords?

That got GoM put into T8, not out of it….Also judging by the scores, it looks like that is the best spot for you guys, although the argument could be made that you and HoD could readily swap.

Either way, it should be clear to everyone that SF did not belong in T8, and while our skill level has to improve to compete in T6, it also appears as though we do not belong in T7.

You haven’t been in tier 8 in three weeks, it’s time to let it go. Just take a deep breath and let all the bad stuff out.

I was impressed with a KoM mesmer last night who wasn’t running away to safety when his HoD pugs scattered like roaches when 3 XOXO started downing them. He put up great fights all night and even when it got to be fairly zergy he and I always seemed to be having a 1v1 in the middle of 15-20 people. Was a lot of fun.

RH does not hack, ever, period.

Perhaps you don’t know this, but the reason GoM is in T8 is because of hackers. GoM got a bad rep for being the “hacking server.” While there where definitely hackers in GoM (which we on GoM reported constantly), so did all the other servers. But this “OMG GoM is dirty server of dirty hackers” thing got so bad, that many of our guilds transferred to other server.

Those of us who stayed on GoM HATE hackers, and we take any hints of hacking very seriously. If you have actual proof of hacking, PM it to anyone on GoM and I promise you that the GoM alliance will mass report them into oblivion. If you don’t have proof, then keep it to yourself. Baseless accusations don’t help anything.

well im glad your server will clean up hackers whenever you see em, I didn’t expect to get attacked this hard for pointing out one I saw, if my computer didn’t crash everytime I try to take a screenshot I would have taken a pic of it but even then it would have been kinda hard to do that. Im pretty new to GW2 so my apologies. droping it now.

Styx you talk to whoever is apart of that exp train camp capping group in ET the human Eng and human hunter, anytime one of our guardians used (3 of em on him) imoblizing from hammer or binding blade from greatsword he’d magically vanish for the imobilze and magically dodge even point blank range for the binding blade.

I did talk to them and I run with them all the time. I’ve known them for months and they do nothin illegit. I just ran with them right now and they die just the same as anyone else. Dodge evades everything. It doesn’t matter if it’s point blank. I don’t understand what you’re confused about.

it is really sad that GoM has to resort to using hacks in order to get ontop… yesterday saw a few people from the [ART] guild using speed hacks when the magically capped ET garrison, Hills, Bay which were all fully upgraded in under 5mins when u didn’t even knock down hills walls/gate and we had control of it for over 4hrs, then today 2 people from [RH] (Raven Hold) an eng and a hunter using auto dodge hacks, dodging any immobilizes thrown at them even in the middle of being pounded on..so in my opinion if GoM wins this week they didn’t deserve it at all, lost all my respect.

I call bullkitten on the RH talk. No one hacks or feels the need to and we take that kitten very seriously.

The ranking only tells you how populated the servers are and possibly how serious they are about WvW. Lower tiers are filled with single/small group roamers and most guilds just have people bring whatever builds.

I think tier 8 is a fun tier and I’m glad to be fightin with y’all. I mean, if you think the tier number is important, you’re only 30 gold away from being #1 champ.

I got nothin against zergs (even the word’s annoying in how unnecessarily condescending it is) but having 25 guildies on a random evening means you’re the biggest zergiest guild in the tier, not the spunky outmanned kid with heart.

To add:
Hence the whole reason i made the video, whether or not ET wants to admit it they zerg, which people have adamantly denied, and that AGG is the reason for ET winning, also people have denied. Is to be expected though when a top tier guild decides to go all the way to the bottom. Id compare you to the yankees playing in the minor leagues but their season so far…ouch, would probably help if they did go down to the minors.

Muni, it’s one thing to say “whoah, Agg has a lot of people” (‘cause it apparently hurts their feelings =) but I don’t think it’s all a fair thing to say that Eredon Terrace is winning because of Agg. I mean, Eredon Terrace has loads of people of come out and contribute and the sum of that is the score.

I always tell people that what I love about WvW is there’s a ton of different ways to play it. Whether you’re solo roamer, ninja capper, 5 man squad, or zergy train, we each contribute to the mosaic that is WvW fun in our own way.

We had about 25 [Agg] on tonight. This picture doesn’t really say much when it’s a mashed group of two enemy server’s players.

If you’re going to call a server out for zerging, don’t post pictures and videos of a guild that fields 20-25 players in a server vs server vs server PvP match-up. Just because you get beaten doesn’t necessarily mean your enemies numbers were greater than yours. Of course that will happen in certain cases, but most of the time we are outnumbered since we tend to roam as just a guild-mates and we play in NA prime time which is when all 3 servers have large groups of players roaming around. We try not to roam with non-guildies if we can help it.

I just want to give a shout out to the guys at ASH from GoM. I ran with them last night, and it’s the most fun I’ve had in WvW yet. I believe the commanders name was Jael, but I’m not sure (there was an odd letter in there). Anyway, it was nice rolling with an organized group!

I tried playing with another group months ago, but the commander on TeamSpeak was literally yelling at everyone. It kinda turned me off to it, but I’m really glad I gave it another shot, because these guys were great.

On a side note, I highly recommend everyone from GoM check out themadalliance.com and jump on their TS whenever you’re in WvW. I’m not sure if they want me to post the server on here, so I won’t for now (it’s on their forums). Even if you just log in and listen, playing with a grou kitten o much more fun!

What commander was that? That is not cool and we shall not put up with it.

Hello, glad you are all taking interest in countering my guild. It’s nice to see both servers theory crafting on idea’s but you won’t beat us unless you bring a good group of 20 or more people together under the same teamspeak channel with proper builds who listen to their commander.
It wouldn’t hurt to combine all of your organized guilds together as 1, that’d be challenging I think.
