Still not understanding. No stab, no daze, nothing. 100% cc-free knockback without stab. It’s happened many times to myself and others I have talked to, like I said.

It’s got to be some combination of skills used or something weird like that.

Yes, I commonly rejoice when my target becomes completely immune to all types of damage.

If you kite them for the remaining ticks, they are forced to sit on the node and do nothing or chase you around, ultimately not doing anything. Once they’re done with these two stances, they are extremely vulnerable.

Both are not invulns. You are vulnerable to condition damage while in endure pain and physical damage with zerker stance. They’re two different abilities, obviously. If they pop both are once then that is a good thing for the enemy.

But in Starcraft 2 they allow you to veto certain maps. If we could veto at least one map, that would be neat.

I’m not going to praise developers that completely failed to achieve their goals because they stubbornly clung onto a mode for two years as the playerbase asked them not to.

There’s a difference between “not praising” and being that prick that complains about “not getting my every need” and “not being esports” on the forums.

And “the playerbase”? You mean the PvE and WvW and casual PvP playerbase? That one? As far as I am aware, most, if not every, top player on the best teams enjoy conquest quite a lot.

It did get 500 viewers. Also keep in mind that no “elite teams” were in this qualifier as well as minimal advertisement.

And no my bar is not set too high. I stand for what I said about it. I think this is great and really appreciate the work unlike all of the people, including yourself, that take it to the forums to hate on something that is finally happening in GW2 PvP.

I, for one, really appreciate the hard work DPS, Anet, and Mistpedia have put in to make this possible.

Regardless of not getting 100,000 viewers and so-called “esports”, 150k is a huge prize pool for an MMO and I appreciate the fact that that money is now being put into the game.

Glad we can have a tournament for fun and cash and not need to have 100k viewers to do so.

Who cares about getting eSports? Can a tournament not be streamed without there being 150k viewers?

Depends on the hour really…somewhat…kind of. Just keep queued and stay on the same character and it will pop eventually.

GvG = 20 man zergs running around. If someone makes a mistake it doesn’t matter because no one can tell what any individual is doing. Because of this it is impossible to differ between a good and bad player in a GvG setting. It is just zerging.

Sure, there is some communication and team strategy going on, but that is it. Nothing one individual player does will make a major impact like in 5v5 competitive matches.

Most left, sure you have the few hardcore people around. However for the most part, people come back and play in the major tourneys and that’s it. Teamq is fairly dead, mostly just solo players. Then you have soloq which is its on can of worms (4v5, skyhammer, etc).

Can’t really blame people for quitting. Been over two years, and pvp is still pretty much the same.

This is definitely not true. Might be dead if you’re in the 60th percentile. ToL 2 just finished and had 128 teams on NA participate. The upcoming ToG has nearly 100 teams participating. It’s far from dead.

It is actually NA TOP 20 of Team Arena, because some of them have not hit Top 20 or just being idle after archiving top20 in SoloQ. Oh, I will make SoloQ Version of NA top 20 later.

Seeing as group 4 starts at 1:30 EST and only 3 total matchups are being streamed, you could say it will be fairly short, I would assume.

5 or 6 EST is probably a reasonable guess, but DPS does things super fast and won’t be taking many (or any) breaks at all on stream. They have a group of people that are doing it rather than 1-3 people.

So..Aeroxe..expect it to be swift and done thoroughly.

Usually DPS’s “State of the Mists” lets a couple of players voice their opinions on certain matters.

But I do agree we need a Ready Up with at least 3 or 4 players giving their voice on particular classes.

Every single game I have been in, since the feature patch has had at least one ranger. I have even ran into groups of 4-5 of them, frequently. Also according to the battlefy.com some of the teams are facing against BYE, can you further elaborate on that?

If the team you play doesn’t show up you get a win and receive the prizes associated with that win.

A “BYE” means that there is no team there and they get a free pass to the next game. It is because they are using a standard 32-team bracket and there are only 21 or 22 teams. The higher seeded teams get a BYE because of this.

It’s basically the epitome of a glass cannon class with assassins. There’s definitely a downfall to using it, so it’s not a big deal.

Pretty annoying considering all my zerker builds now get rolled quickly by those rangers…

The only viable zerker builds before were thief and warrior. Now it’s zerker ranger and possibly another class we are yet to see.

You are way too soon. A meta cannot be judged within 2 days. Hambow warrior took months to be discovered after the patch prior to it becoming a very strong build.

How are you saying the meta is the same anyways? Are you judging this from hotjoins? Solo queue? I’ve already seen top teams starting to try new builds/compositions out and I can guarantee you it’s not the same stuff.

It’s a new meta. It takes some times to find out what works and what doesn’t. You can’t judge a patch within 2 days. Sure, it’s quite abnormally buggy, but they’ve already begun to fix most of that.

I think it is fine. Most of the QQ is from PvE and WvW players anyways.

There is something fundamentally wrong with your post, and it’s saying that ladders have been abandoned because ranks and finishers won’t be in it.

There is nothing to suggest that is the case. Don’t try and convince people that the entire project was abandoned and tossed because there’s a post saying that Ranks were separated. You can’t possibly know that!

It is 9 months since that post. I am not trying to convince anyone anything. Feel free to still hope for seasons and ladder rewards. I prefer to be skeptic after 9 months and remain with my initial reply that “this idea was officially abandoned on December-2-2013 because customers (aka players) requested it multiple times on forums”.

I was skeptic about anything money-related happening with GW2 for the longest time and after two years it finally happens. I bet it will still happen, just not when we were hoping for.

For once I have to agree with Backpack.

While I wasn’t able to join due to being busy today, I watched a bit of the casting and have to say it looked awesome. DPS looked very professional and ran the event exceptionally well. Great job guys, keep it up.
