I love how Lore can be removed in one patch, this is some of the best dialogue ever written in the game, replaced by: LOL I"M SCARLET DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE!!!!!!!!1111

Lets just remove the game, every cool villain in the game and all the interesting lore and the depth and replace it all with scarlet.


Dialogue that will be removed:

You have a 25% – 50% -75% – 100% chance to get a Random Chest.

50% / 17 = 2.9% Chance to get the chest you want.
75% / 17 = 4.4% Chance to get the chest you want.
100% / 17 = 5.8% Chance to get the chest you want.

The numbers are actually quite low if you take into the account the RNG, CRAFTING WILL STILL BE THE BEST WAY… by a long shot.


I feel that currently, I like the hardness of the fight. However right now the fight is just not worth the risk. You heard me right, the fight is just pointless, soon nobody will do this unless its nerfed to the ground.

Why? It has the same horrible drop-rate as it did before, and its only 100 times harder. I will just do other easier world events.

What should you do about it?
First of all, make the kill REWARDING…

75% Health
25% Chance to drop a random Ascended Weapon Chest. (of any stats.)
8% Chance to drop the special new Tequatl Weapon skins.

50% Health
50% Chance to drop a random Ascended Weapon Chest. (of any stats.)
16% Chance to drop the special new Tequatl Weapon skins.

0%, You successfully downed him.

This would make the fight MUCH more rewarding, you still have a chance to get a Random Box however since the box is random you still have incentive to keep killing him, it is just not such a LOW chance that its not worth doing.

Currently..
I have no incentive to do this, I have the scales/ore from the last update and I would rather make my legendary or craft one then do this, its simply NOT WORTH MY TIME.

Warrior: The Real Class Description.

Warning: Humor, you probably won’t understand it unless you play a warrior.

Warriors are masters of the greatsword. They rely on aluminum armor and hope to survive. They’re versatile in combat and benefit from 30 points in the vitality tree and spamming shouts and being forced into certain rune sets of banners. Warriors inspire allies and demoralize enemies by being the worst class in SPvP but still outshining other players with sheer skill. As a soldier profession, warriors do not wear plot armor.

Adrenaline is the warrior profession’s unique mechanic. As the warrior attacks, adrenaline is built up the warrior can get 9% critical chance and 12% extra damage. Each weapon set has a single burst skill which has a variety of different conditions that nobody uses to improve with more adrenaline. Adrenaline has three levels, and each adrenaline level increases the effect of Heightened Focus and Berserker’s Power, and Adrenal Health.

The warrior also has the highest selection of weapon skins to other professions, giving a good variation between how many skins of the greatsword we can choose from.

As a heavily armored soldier profession that has no access to protection and sustaining abilities, warriors are only second to thieves in terms of enduring punishment.


Skill types unique to warrior
Physical — things nobody uses. This also would of been a great class mechanic.

Banners — banner skills produce an environmental weapon that passively, or via unique skills, benefits nearby allies. The banner can be picked up and carried around, or it can be planted in an area, this turns the warrior into a buff bot for his allies.

Stance is a warrior skill type that has no bonuses and poor traits and kill the warrior more so then help him. They should of been the class mechanic from the start and have been F1/F2/F3/F4, however that would be too much work.

I think they should make the Norn Transformations more like a second set of weapons and actually be funner, like a tool-kit style more then anything else.

This means you would still be able to use your 6-7-8-9 abilities, however your (elite) would be on toggle.

It wouldn’t be as damaging or powerful, but it would allow the norn to stay permamently changed if they wanted to. This would add flavor to the norns.

Can we change Adrenal Health's function?

Currently, Adrenal Health favors “holding your adrenaline.” which a defensive warrior no longer does, we are constantly spending it. It used to be favorable because I could go 10/0/15/0/10 and build for “Holding my Adrenaline.” However now that the traits are 30/0/0/0/30, I can no longer put 15 points defensively to do that.

With the new trait “Cleansing Ire” I also need to constantly spend my adrenaline, which makes Adrenal Health heal for very very low unfavorable amounts, so here is my solution.

Change it to:

Adrenal Health
Gain health when you gain a strike of adrenaline. Gain health for every bar of adrenaline spent with a melee weapon.
Healing: X (0.15) when you gain a strike of adrenaline.
Healing: X (0.75) per bar spent.

This would add a lot new synergy with our current traits and put us more on-par with current bunkers. This would be very offensive sustain, compared to other classes defensive sustain.

However it would also add a lot more counter-play with classes using blinds/ways to make us miss our burst skills so we can’t dump and heal.

This would give us a way to reduce damage without boons like protection/regeneration/vigor, however it has a limit (can only get 30 strikes before you need to dump, and people can prevent you from dumping with CC/Blind/Stun/Daze.)

I love the Asura race, however with all the advantages they get other races, why isn’t this addressed in SPVP when everything is made to be fair?

Some advantages they share:
- Less obvious animations.
- Harder to see.
- Less likely to see coming.
- Matches Minions size.
- Harder to see over walls/barriers.
- Harder to hit in a crowd, because they can hide inside bigger toons.

What is there disadvantage? I don’t really see any myself.

With such a huge advantage in SPVP, why use anything but Asura?

I believe that they should get a 20m-30m melee, 100m-150m range disadvantage just by being so short.

I don’t mind if nothing changes at all, however I would like to hear others opinions.

Now wait just a second, I bet that topic got your attention. However allow me to explain.

Now that they critical, make toughness/protection/and all defensive things lower the damage of conditions.

Weakness: -25% Critical Damage. (This now affects condition damage, however it doesn’t butcher power damage.)

Protection: -15% All Damage. (This now affects condition damage.)

Toughness: Make it better then it is now, a LOT better, toughness should be the primary defensive stat, protection should not be better then toughness.

Signet of Judgement: Sorry guardians, but it should be toughness, however I would like to bring your base health up to 15k, and bring all classes health to 15k. It makes no sense some classes are better, and this would really help elementalists, another 15% damage reduction would be a balance Nightmare, however I believe shields should lower damage directly. Since your fire would be doing a lot more damage if you stacked offensively, you would be doing a bit more damage, maybe a lot more.

This means to maximize condition damage, you would need critical damage, condition damage, and precision. So now you don’t get to stack all defensive stats and just get condition damage and healing power or vitality and be tanky.

I want the option to completely remove particle effects when you customize armor since all the new armor seems to have it all over the place, it makes it so its almost impossible to combine with other pieces of armor which IMO is one of the reasons I bought the game: Customization.

Why have all new sets of gear if its impossible to combine with the older gear? It simply does not make any sense.

COF Armor would be great for example, if I could either color the fire to green or blue and then get the option to completely remove it. So would the dredge armor.

Twisted Watchwork Shoulders are an amazing piece of armor, I could think of MANY things this armor could be if it was a full set!

Why did you only add one piece of armor to this whole invasion world event?

You could of made a set of this cybernetic armor, it would of been amazing and had players playing for days and hours if you had a small chance to get each piece and then made the event permanent, I would do it just for the armor if it showed body parts being turned metal and such. (I LOVE CYBORGS!)

Yes, it would look a little twisted, but isn’t that what the armor is meant to be?

I literally did my first invasion event, got my shoulders and now I have no reason at all to do the story anymore…. However if you put the reward at the end I wouldn’t like that either because I have to do 1000 things to get 1 thing.

I’m begging you, add the rest of this beautiful armor set to the game and make them drop from the end of invasions!

Vitality Tree needs some work.

I believe the Vitality Tree needs a little work, especially the 5/15/25 abilities, they just seem crap compared to almost every other traits in the game, nobody needs help rezzing, rezzing is usually done once the fights over, and in the middle of battle, 10% faster rezzing isn’t going to matter much.

I recently redid this.

5: Determined Revival: Gain Protection for 2 seconds after a dodge roll ends or reviving an ally.

15: Fast Healer: All Regenerating healing effects are increased by 33%.

25: Vanguard: Increases revive speed and damage reduction for every boon on you. (6% Revive Speed, 3% damage reduction per boon on the warrior.) [for example, if I had three boons on my warrior, I would have 18% revive speed, 9% damage reduction.]


I redid it a bit, I believe this will be much better for everyone, now the traits have dual functions, but go with what I believe what was originally intended, for this to be a combat healer.

5: Determined Revival: When I go to revive someone, I’m usually rolling to them, then rezzing, the roll gives me immunity, and its not like i’m rolling when I revive someone, so I usually burn it before I do.

15: Fast Healer: With Healing banners, this will make healing downed allies faster anyways.

25: Vanguard: Warriors don’t get access to damage reduction or a lot of boons besides three, I believe that this is a very fair trait, because it gives the warrior a sort of tank role when they use banners or shouts, which is completely fair, since there are other traits for example that add vigor or other buffs when you use shouts, which is why I would love it in this tree. I mean, they are gonna need it if they go into a zerg and attempt to revive somebody.

Plus it makes sense:
vanguard

1 the part of an army going in front of the main body.
2 the leaders in any movement We’re in the vanguard of the movement for reform!

Going in and reviving allies, notice how you get protection when you revive allies with trait ‘5’ as well.

Why is ranger’s pet better then the Warrior?

Pros:
- More health.
- Ignores most pathing.
- Double the armor (due to perma-protection.)
- Better boons/buffs. (perma regeneration!)
- More sustain. (more HPS, better buffs.)
- Better temporary abilities. (better invulnerabilities.)
- Easier to use not so animated knockdowns. (self-explanatory.)
- Better condition removal. (All you need to do is switch me out to clear all conditions! Not only that my master can cure them off me!)

Cons:
- Less damage.
- Can’t be controlled by a player.

Warriors need a lot of help!

Here is my idea for the warrior, you must constantly be fighting and using your adrenaline, the longer you fight the stronger you get, you start off slow and get stronger!

Brawn: 2% Chance to gain a strike of adrenaline per hit. (up to 60%.)

F2: Indomitable Burn a bar of Adrenaline, convert a condition into a boon.

F3: Shield of Rage Burn two bars of Adrenaline, gain 10% damage reduction from all sources for 20 seconds, Stacks up to three times.
When you use it once it gives you 10% for 20 seconds, when you use it again it gives you 20% for 20 seconds, when you use it again it gives you 30%, then when you use it again it gives you 30%, but just refreshes the duration. If you don’t keep it up it goes back to 10% and you have to start all over again.

F4: Fearless Dash Burn all three bars of adrenaline and charge your foe, become immune to conditions for a short duration.
Damage: 409
Condition Immunity: 2 s
Combo Finisher: Leap
Range: 1,000


Adrenaline Traits:

Heightened Focus : After you use an adrenaline skill, Gain 5% critical damage for 10-15 seconds. Stacks three times. If you get another one after three, it simply refreshes the first one’s duration.

Berserker’s Power : After you use an adrenaline skill, Gain 5% base damage for 10-15 seconds. Stacks three times. If you get another one after three, it simply refreshes the first one’s duration.

Adrenal Health : After you use an adrenaline skill, Heal for 125 (0.05*HP) every second for 10-15 seconds. Stacks three times. If you get another one after three, it simply refreshes the first one’s duration.

Healing Signet even after changes is poor and does not fix its problem. The signet is meant to have a very powerful passive and active, but with a very long cool-down, used only as an emergency, look at my picture below to see how stupid it is now.

Adrenal Health should of simply been an 8k-12k heal that gives you 30 adrenaline. Requiring us to have a set of adrenaline simply puts MORE “Oh you use this and your punished” that other classes don’t even have, What other class gets so punished like this? None. Thieves have a heal that simply stealths them and gives them regeneration.. what if it did less if they had less initiative… What if Necromancer heals healed less if they had less lifeforce? Its a stupid mechanic.

Mending should remove all conditions and heal for each one, or have its cool-down lowered to 15 seconds to fill the active gap Healing Signet had, because it would be a much better “active heal” and fill in that spot, where Healing Signet should be the passive.

The changes are not sustain either, none of these increase our ability to stay in the fight, healing signet is a now a total joke not even Kefka would find humorous.

I feel that the elementalist should have a lot of what was taken away come back, like the old ride the lightning CD/no penalty.

They deserve to have some mobility and nerfs unturned as the community grows better.

Indomitable:
Each time you gain a bar of adrenaline, you convert one condition into a small boon.
((Another idea was to call the trait: Empowered Rage.))

This is to fight against the Cleansing Ire, I feel like the skill isn’t what we need, we need something that constantly fights against conditions and it should be a Grandmaster trait.

Can you please make Asura Bigger/Give them the same animations as humans in SPVP only? Its quite ridiculous how much of an advantage they have over other races.

I can’t even tell if they are using an attack, or dodging. It looks exactly the same, the particle effects also drown them out.

Its worse then fighting Oddjob in goldeneye.

So I know Omnomberry Pie used to be OP before the internal cooldown was added and now it is no where near as useful as it was.

What if the Warrior had a trait that gave lets say 33% chance to steal life on critical with no internal cooldown? This would give the Warrior some sustainability but still keep Anet’s theme for the warrior.

Why not “Heal when you gain a strike of adrenaline?” grandmaster trait. Would actually give us a reason to use burst.

I now die easier then ever!

Adrenal Health now doesn’t really work with the new cleansing Ire… now that we are constantly fighting between full and no adrenaline it barely heals for what it used to.

Healing Signet never got its passive buffed. Probably should double or even triple it. Or just make it a utility skill, remove the active heal and replace with some protection or a stun break or something…

Cleansing Ire only works after you need it. I need that confusion, torment, immobilize, cripple, chill, blind off before I use my burst…

Mending has to long of a cool-down. Lower it to 15-20 seconds, or 20 and make it a physical skill to make the trait more attractive.

Healing Surge is counter-productive, unlike any other heal in the game. It should simply heal for a lot and give 30 adrenaline and maybe cure burning/bleeding/poison… Just make it our version of hide in shadows with healing atleast 50% of our base health.

Add a trait that gives us health when we gain strikes of adrenaline? Hey that could be the new Adrenal Health!

What would you rather have…

Him staying as he currently is with reasonable loot.
25%-50%-75%-100% chance to have a 10% chance to get what you want. (since there are so many ascended types

Him being nerfed to the ground because nobody will do him.
His health/powers/everything will be lowered to casual level, nobody will want to due him because crafting your own guarenteed ascended weapon is much easier and less time consuming. Even crafting a legendary is the same!

I’d rather he stay challenging, but have reasonable loot, BUT that is just me. I KNOW for a fact that one of these things will happen…

Regeneration should heal a percent based of Health instead of a solid number, its simply not fair that it benefits some classes and is 50% less effective to ones with more hp. It simply helps those who have stealth/evade/immunities/damage reduction with low hp moreso then those with higher HP.

It should heal 1% of your health every second, then + (0.125 * Healing Power) per second.

This means it will heal guardians/thieves/elementalist a little less at start and vitality will also affect it, however it makes a lot of sense and really helps other classes… like Warrior.

Warrior forums are filled with awesome ideas to improve the class, meanwhile other forums are filled with whining, and its bleeding into our class Area.

Warriors never went on other forums and QQed and asked for nerfs to other classes, WE wanted improvements to ours.
