These are sort-of how I would redo the healing skills for Warrior.
Healing Surge (Cooldown: 25)
Heal yourself and regain all adrenaline.
Healing: 11,275 (2.0)?
Adrenaline: 30
This means you don’t have to worry about stages, this heal is meant to burst you up to full adrenaline and heal you for a good bit.
Healing Signet (Cooldown: 20)
Is a signet
Passive: Grants regeneration.
Active: Heal yourself.
Healing Signet: 575 (0.15*HP) heal per sec
Healing: 1150 every second for 6 seconds. (0.3*HP)?
This heal is our passive heal, however it has an emergency you can active to gain double the healing of the passive temporarily when you need it, but you lose the passive effect.
Mending (Cooldown: 15)
Heal yourself and cure two conditions. This is now a physical skill.
Healing: 6,560 (1.5)?
This is our low cool-down heal, this also cures two conditions and can be upgraded with other physical skills for a better effect.

Vigor should restore health and give endurance faster regen.

I think Sigil of Bursting is supposed to be +6% crit damage, not condition duration.
Why not just use 5% Damage? Base damage is more then crit damage.

But faster weapon swaps = more adrenaline = more access to burst skills = more endurance. You can go from zero to full in 2 simple button presses and you can do this more often on Warrior…
…and if you want Vigor, there’s Warhorn. Easy Vigor for your whole team.
The only thing I’d qualify as bad is Warrior hasn’t many useful effects with their dodge…if reckless dodge had a chance of a leap and/or blast finisher, that might make them particularly better with dodge than Guardian. I’d say they’re about equal; Guardian has heal on dodge while Warrior has more on-demand dodges.
How is faster weapon switching more endurance?
It has a 9 second cool-down on the sigil.
Warriors are NOT tanky, no amount of toughness will save you.
Because faster swapping means more adrenaline on weapons swap and more access to your burst skills which can replenish your endurance by 50%. Your burst skills also have a 10sec cooldown like the sigil but you have 2 of them. That’s a potential dodge every weapon swap.
Get it? You swap weapon once: 50%. You swap again 5 seconds later and use a burst: 50%. You swap 5 seconds later: 50%. etc. etc.
With vigor ontop of that, you can dodge 1 additional time per 5 seconds, more if you actually use both burst skills and not just one. Vigor only gives you 1 dodge every 5.
“9 Second INTERNAL COOLDOWN.”
It doesn’t matter if its every 5 seconds, if you don’t wait 9 seconds between switching you won’t get endurance. Which means “Fast Hands.” does not matter at all.
Each BURST skill has a 10 second cool-down…
And you have 2 of them on separate cooldowns which are divided by a 5 second weapon swap.
The reason Fast Hands is a boon to this particular tactic is because you can only store 2 dodges at a time. The sooner you can swap to the other unused burst skill, the less danger you’re in for burning 2 dodges in a row.
It sounds clunky for one reason alone, you give up your burst skills on times you may or may not need it.
Its exactly like the traits “Gain Vigor when you heal.” and or “Get Swiftness when you dodge.” You waste something precious to get a bad trade of what you may or may not need.
No, it’s just a playstyle you don’t like.
Some people build to utilize their bursts when they come up and they can often use them more than every 10 seconds. In essence, you can build so that there is no reason not to use your bursts.
In that case, you’re not wasting something for the potential of something else, you’re gaining extra for what you already do normally.
Yes, I dislike saving my Eviserate till when my enemy is about downed so I can quickly finish them before they heal, or use my Earthshaker as an interrupt to stop my enemy from doing a move or healing and stunning them.
Its not a playstyle I enjoy, I much rather use my burst skills to actually help me actively instead of just spamming them mindlessly.

Asura can wear honor of the waves armor and look like a norn, dancing in hoelbrak and drinking beer.

If I have 100% Condition Duration, my immobilize will go from 1s to 2s.

Well, specialize in 1-2 attunements, but have amazing traits like this.
Drastically Improves the Fire Attunement, completely locks out Air.
Drastically Improves the Water Attunement, completely locks out Earth.
Drastically Improves the Air Attunement, completely locks out Fire.
Drastically Improves the Earth Attunement, completely locks out Water.
Earth should be focused on Condition Damage/Reducing Damage. (Bleeding Damage/Confusion Damage/Protection.)
Water should be focused on Power Damage/Healing. (Vulnerability/Weaknesss/Power Damage/Healing.)
Fire should be Condition Damage/Condition Removal and Control. (Burning, Power, Condition Control. (Remove conditions/cure for each one removed.).
Air Should be Burst/Critical Damage/Daze and Crowd Control.
This way you can have 1 offensive/1 defensive option.

20,633 health, 1281 toughness. I got hit for 15367 damage in UNDER a second. If I was an Ele with lower health I’d be dead aka one shut in UNDER a second.
So:
1.My armor is half vitality and half toughness. No tough/vit on weapons and trinkets. Glass cannony. Regardless. I thought you were not supposed to one shot a person in under a second in this game? Last I checked this isn’t a FPS.
Even with higher toughness/vitality I can’t survive two thieves doing this in under a second..let alone a class with lower base toughness/vitalit like the ele.2.Damage by unknown in the picture. We still can’t see thieves once they come out of stealth.
3.There are ridiculous resetalthing cooldowns on thieves. Anyone fighting a pistol thief condition build can testify to that.
Can’t fight what you can’t see half the time..its almost like..hacking..4.Thieves can travel faster than ANYTHING across the map and you can’t catch them.
5.You can finish a downed player or rez one while stealthed. Why isn’t any action taken in stealth breaking it? Its bad enough already that you can initiate an attack unseen.
I find it silly that we are talking about e-sport when these ridiculous issues are still not fixed.
How is it the thieves are still unbalanced this long into the game?
I already have two good pvpers quitting over the broken thief class mechanics saying -rightfully so- that needing this much time to fix such simple imbalances in a thief means they will take another year to get to the bunker builds or the mesmer. I have been telling them for months to give it time. They have more than two people working on it but they usually start by balancing the OP professions like eles and Engys.
So is the message that we should Roll one of the holy trinity: Mesmer, Guardian or thief or leave the game with our money? One things for sure..one year from now Eles and Engys will still get nerfed =D .
First of all this is WvWvW, Esports is SPvP, so your topic is wrong.
Your stats are poor, my thief has 1780 toughness and 18000 health.
Your a Warrior, you have higher armor/higher health (8k more then thief does.)
So basicly, your in mostly berserkers gear, a glass cannon, complaining about another glass cannon destroying you, you have no toughness, little vitality. (20k-18k=2k extra health.)
You deserved to die that easy and deserved every point of that damage.

“Ignore Pain” trait is bugged to only last 2 seconds instead of the 5.
I would invest in “Rune of the Earth” this almost makes it impossible for a thief to one shot you, because as soon as he attacks you with his chain of attacks, you get 33% Damage Reduction for a good 5 seconds, assuming you have any points in vitality.
This makes the barrage and burst of thief almost completely useless, a -33% base damage decrease wipes the floor with most thieves damage wise, and if they cannot kill you in that 5 seconds like there spec demands then they are cat food.
That 9500 damage backstab is now a 6500 damage one, assuming your moving, and if he hits you on your front its only 3250 damage.

It has no role, it has little to no damage now without sacrificing everything and dieing easier then a ranger’s pet. It has no sustain and it is pretty much a giant punching bag.
Every attack feels slow and clunky like it was made for PvE, it simply has no place in the current meta and feels completely worthless.
The healing skills never got improved, Healing Signets passive and other healing spells output should honestly be tripled to much up for lack of survivability. We have no protection, honestly I don’t care if we are like any other classes, at least we won’t be worthless.
Until that time comes – I will continue to post on the forums and log in to do the daily, but the game is no longer fun for me as a warrior.

No clue what you’re talking about. It’s a + %15 duration and is working as such. It makes the 3 sec skull crack (which requires direct melee range to land and uses up a full adrenaline bar) into a 3.45 sec stun and that increased duration only matters if the target doesn’t break out of it and eats the entire duration (not often). Comparing that with other sigils like battle and leeching its power is quite balanced. No idea how that consists of “god mode” in your opinion, sounds to me like you aren’t running proper stun breakers or don’t know how to kite warriors, got owned a feel times and a made a post with made up numbers.
It makes it 4 seconds, not 3.45. I actually play a warrior.

This isn’t always the case. Sorry to say it, but to some people, classes, or other cannon builds, a cloaked thief is still plenty of dps to take them down.
Bottom line it doesn’t matter if 5-10-100-2000 people say fun and balanced to play a stealth thief in this game. If the same number is saying how not fun it is, the design was poorly implemented.
I personally don’t give a kitten if a thief can or cannot survive x,y,z while killing 1,2,3. What I care about is the fact that swinging wildly into the air trying to hit the invisible man is simply not fun to do.
From experience its fun as hell to play a stealth-troll, trying to kill one on the other hand is really something you just pass on the opportunity. And that is the defense most are trying to make….which is even more sad.
People’s idea of defending a working mechanic is you should just ignore the cloaked thief as he doesn’t do too much damage. Does that sound right?

I will awnser you this truthfully and honestly.
People “want to win.” and thats why you lose.
A thief does not have the upfront dps to kill anything, they are however very good at getting away from pretty much anything, the reason many lose is because they believe that they “must” chase the thief down and win.
For example, fighting a P/D thief, has the idea ever occured to you to simply ignore him, in a zerg, he would just get destroyed, 1v1 if you stay and fight him, he will slowly wittle you down and destroy you, so before the fight even starts, and he attacks you, why fight back? you can simply walk away and avoid him, or walk towards an objective you took, if he follows you… LOL the NPCs will attack him, and you win.
The reason you lose is you let him pick the location, you let him start the fight, you let him use the area he knows he can run from, if you run from him, hes not going to beat you, P/D has no high upfront damage, they must be constantly melee attacking you with C/D to hurt you, if you run with swiftness, that is impossible.
Use your brain, this isn’t a 1v1 game.
As long as you retain your “THIS IS BROKEN I CAN’T EVER WIN WHAT DO I DO WHAT DO I DO, ITS IMPOSSIBLE TO CATCH THE THIEF, I MUST FIGHT HIM I MUST FIGHT HIM!” you will lose, you let him pick the area, your following him to where he wants you to go, your letting him pick the fight… now put yourself in his mind, he realizes your running away, and theres nothing he can do, because if he follows you to try and kill you, he will have to wittle you down in an area of your choosing AND waste initiative and precious skills like shadowstep and shortbow 5 to chase you, rather then his choosing, your in turn making the thief make a choice, follow you into your hell or stay in his, this gives you the advantage, because now your picking the area, and it can have more of your allies or even better, npcs, because npcs don’t give a **** about stealth, they never did.

You also have to consider that many people have up to 5 level 80s. It will not invalidate crafting.
Also note that if your server isn’t up to par for Tequatl, crafting will still be your main source for Ascended gear. It’s a win/win scenario. Elites will have exclusive skins, and the rest will have crafted ones.
I think 100% chance of getting a chest if you defeat him is very fair, because you have a random chance of that to get 17 different chests.
