Looking for a condi class that is not Engineer for mainly high lvl fractals and learning how to raid. I have a burnzerker but after the nerf it seems that the damage just isn’t there at all, any suggestions would be appreciated.

Im looking for a PVE condi build for raids and fractals, does anyone have some suggestions? Also how does it compare to power builds?

I was using my ascended armor on my Asuran ele, I was skinned for cultural T3. I needed a new char so i unloaded all the gear and deleted him, well now the armor is stuck as T3, is there anything I can do to fix it?

Was wondering if anyone has a Chronomancer build for FOTM or is phantasm build (s/s/f/p) still the best option?

So what makes wh and focas the better choice tho?

So I got my necro to 80 the other day and iv been playing around on him. I was looking at the meta for dungeon running and it seem to be d/w+f. Now I have a friend who likes to run d/d on dungeons so I was wonder if there was anything wrong with d/d in dungeons and why w/f was the meta.

Yeah, I feel ya on this. I’m hoping as more info comes out that there will be more on some dungeons/fractals if there isn’t then I’m more than likely not gonna get the xpac and start to looking into other games. I am VERY disappointed in the way ANET has treated dungeon runners.

Level both, there both fantastic, currently I’m loving my guard, but u can swap your acceneded items between them if u want since there both heavies, both use GS alot.

So Guardian seems to have the color blue as our color, a lot of out skills are blue, we use blue fire.

So my question is what is the official blue color of Guardians? I’m voting for Regal Dye!!

So it looks like I’m going to have to head to the silverwaste to grind out crests for my boots, only problem is that except for LS I haven’t done much out there. What do I need to do for crests and where is the vendor for the boots?

Iv noticed here lately that when ever I go to silver waste I lag horribly, but only there.

Well if it’s practical I wanted one hard drive for the os and all my programs and I wanted the second hard drive as a back up and also a place to store music and pictures. But would it be better to put that on a single hard drive? Also I have no clue what RAID 0 is.

So I finally got my guardian to level 80 and I had a few questions. First off after a little research I believe the best build is 4/5/0/0/5 for over all utility for puggs. I’m also running GS/s+f. I was wondering what kind of “rotation” I should be doing, and what utility skill i should be using. Any help or guiding hand would be appreciated

Im thinking of starting a new char and I’m split between thief and ele. My mains a warr and I also have a mes that i like playing and and engi that i dont really like. So can anyone tell me some pros and cons of thief and ele to help me decided. I mainly pve and dungeon runs.

So how do these blast finishers work, is there a rotation or priority list, im kinda confused about that part

Iv just recently started playing again after a 9 month hiatus, My first char I made was an engi and iv always loved the class but I was seduced to the warrior dark side for dungeon runs, id like to get back into playing engi again. Some build/gear help would be nice along with maybe some informational videos. I mainly pug dungeons as i am for the most part a weekend player id also like to start to do fractals.

Im having a prob in fractals, i usually pug fracs and i find GS/A+M to be lacking, does anyone have a build that would work well for pugging fracs?

I run a 30/25/0/0/15, Full zerker.

So if your an odd ball like me and like to use s/p+s/f would a 10/20/0/20/20 build be the best way to go atm?

My main is a lvl 80 mesmer. Im a dungeon/fractal runner in full zerker. Working on learning all paths in every dungeon (still dont know arah or CM). Looking for a guild that does gmissions on the weekend. During the days i play from 9am to 1pm MST and on the weekends im on most of the day unless i have something planned. Also would like to start doing more world bosses.

Instead of killing the champ train why dont we make activities in other maps more rewarding? Im kinda tiered of this “i dont like it so nerf the kitten out of it” attitude that is in all MMO’s why dont we do the reverse and bring everything up instead of bring one thing down?

And for the sigil, you’d need one set with stacking sigil (that means 2 stacks per kill) if there’s plenty of trash mobs to stack Perception (to maximize your reflection damage) , or Sigil of Accuracy on MH sword and for your off hand weapon you’d need Sigil of the Night for night dungeons or Sigil of Force.

Just wondering is Mantra of Resolve really better than Null Field in dungeons?

Looking for a guild on either server, about to do an xfer to one if i can find a good guild. I am looking for a guild that does Gmission on the weekend in the evnings. does not require 100% represent, and run temples.

I would love to see MH pistol as long as the damage is just as good as sword for dungeons. Also we need more pistol skins.

Okay the flamekissed light was a fiasco but lets talk about the other elephant in the rooms, the med and heavy armor are just a disgrace. I am not gonna spend another dime in the gem store till these armor get new models.

Bullsh|t… This game’s PvP and WvW is as important as the PvE part. And there are plenty of changes just to buff PvE, like mainly Mantras or Illusion HP, or pet HP in general. Little PvE haters like you make me sick.

Excuses me! Im a dungeon runner so dont assume anything about me, i rarely WvW/PvP. With that said all the balance issues iv seen so far have rarely come from a PvE issue most nerfs happen because of a PvP issue.

And while i agree there are some changes that need to happen to PvE it wont happen till there is a split in the system between PvE and PvP/WvW, but Anet has already said a few time that there not gonna implement separate systems for PvP/WvW/PvE, even tho they should.

to be able to dye the hobo sack would be nice so that it matched my sexyness, or maybe get ride of packs and give us something that went around the waist?

Does this mean that Greatsword + Sword/Pistol is no longer the favored set-up?

Yes. It took long enough but people finally realised Great-sword is a bad, low DPS weapon. Now we just need the pug meta to catch up.

I am fairly new to the Mesmer (mine is only level 14). If the Greatsword is that bad, then what would be the better weapon to use alongside the main-hand sword and either the off-hand Sword or Pistol?

For lvling GS is fine but when your doing dungeon runs sword in the main hand slot is always the best weapon, with either sword/pistol/focas in the offhand slot as needed.

In what dungeons and on what bossed would i use sword off hand over pistol?

Whats the engi meta for PVE/Dungeons?

Sylvari Male here. Had the concept of a villianous Sylvari that used hallucinogenic & poisonous spores in addition to illusions. I’ve seen a pretty diverse mix except Male Norn Mesmer and Female Charr… anything.

The role of GS on mesmer is that it helps me spot bads that I can kick.
