Serious question. I miss old Bunker and DPS Guardians being competitive.

Is Skyhammer still a thing?

Honestly, I would probably start playing the game again if they made this an option.

EU reminds me of the NBA Eastern Conference back in 2000. Western Conference had stronger teams but some people would think that the Eastern Conference had more competition because the matches were closer and they didn’t have to play against the Lakers/Shaq during the qualifiers.

It transfers everything from one character to the other. Waypoints, Hearts, Vistas, Star.

The original character loses everything.

What I meant to say is that Druids would not be able to reliably mitigate or negate damage as effectively as other bunkers without lingering light.

The are not block heavy like Guardian bunkers
The are not evade heavy like Revenant’s etc…

I am certain that the developers look at the entire package the class has when balancing. Distribution of abilities is done based on what they can bring to the fight.

Druids don’t have blocks, evades, reflects or invulnerabilities. They need the blinds to be a bunker.

It’s called Balance.

Contrary to popular belief, Druids go down faster to cc and organized burst than any other Bunker class.

Additionally, I would go as far as saying that Dragonhunters hard counter Druids.

Seed is a celestial avatar ability. Verdant Etching allows you to use Seed outside of celestial avatar.

Grace of Land doesn’t state that you need to be in CAF, it just says it will proc with celestial avatar abilities which as I said earlier Seed is.

No, it is not possible to use elite specializations in PvP if you do not own Heart of Thorns.

Yes, elite specializations are far superior to normal professions, and have no drawbacks whatsoever.

No, you cannot choose to join matches with other players who do not own the expansion.

Yes, this does mean Guild Wars 2 is now technically Pay-to-Win.

Right now, most of the Elite specs are not good.

As a matter of fact, I have no idea why they even refer to them as “Elite”.

The intention is to balance all the new “specs” to be EQUAL to all the base specs. So if people without the expansion can’t beat them then they will get nerfed.

Right now however, most of the Elite specs suck. So I have absolutely no idea what you are complaining about.

When there are things that depend on 100% map completion…then “not doing it” is a penalty that is unnecessary.

The only thing you miss out on by not doing 100 % map completion is the Gift of Exploration and I’d like that to have a value.

If it’s opt in that’s fine for me. It’s not necessary to insult those who enjoy different things than you to make your request and argument for it. The people who do it will be losing out on an enormous amount of exp for the Mastery lines that they can casually get just by running through new areas, but hey, whatever floats your boat.

Just so long as the star is only displayed for characters who have legitimately completed the map.

My suggestion is to give someone to option to opt out of all the “goodies”

A Human, a Norn and a Charr all entered a 26 mile long swimming race.
After 12 miles the Human gets tired and drops out.
Then after 16 miles the Norn gets tired and drops out.
After 25 miles the Charr decides he can’t finish the race, so he turns around and swims back to the start.

Use tomes instead, and not everyone wants map completion to be account bound.

I do use tomes, but I don’t want an alt without map completed.

This is the only thing preventing me from wanting to level alts.

Hate the idea of picks and bans. It wouldn’t accomplish anything other than infuriating players.

Nope, haven’t had this problem.

Double Check your Keyboard Binding options. There might have been set a second option for your pet swap and you press it not knowing.
You might also be using a combination of various keybinds that are identical to your Pet Swap bind.

Let me know if that’s the case.
