Thank you for the offer, but we’re looking for a guild with an active raid group of people who can down all of the current content. Thank you anyway!
Still looking for a guild family. Please let us know if you think we might be a good fit!
Bump! We are still looking for a guild home. =)

There are two of us looking for a guild. We do a lot of things in the game, pretty much everything except WvW.
What we’re looking for:
- NA
- Regular weekend raiding
- Friendly, welcoming atmosphere (no racism/sexism/homophobia/transphobia)
- Uses forums
What we bring:
- 3-year veterans of the game
- Multiple geared 80s
- A love of teaching/mentoring in different areas
- Wide interest (dungeons, high-level Fractals, PvP, socializing, etc.)
- Whatever voice chat you have, we will use (with mic)
Hey Aidyn – I know you stated to not post with a copy paste of our guild information but honestly it is a lot of information to put out and I feel like you need it all. I am going to put it below but I did want you to know I read your thread and am very interested in speaking with you both.
Heya Aeromu,
We looked into Synergy, and a lot of things looked really promising, but unfortunately I don’t think the rep thing is going to work out. We’re still both in Ember Solace (despite me handing over leadership to a council system), and SOL requires 60% rep. Thank you for reaching out, though. If Synergy’s rep policy ends up changing more, or if you hear of another guild that might fit, please let me know.
Thanks,
Aidyn
Bumping this! We’re open to discussing details and such. =)
My partner and I are looking for a Raid Guild.
Please do not just post here with a copy/paste of your guild message.
Here’s what we’re looking for:
- NA
- Not 100% rep
- Friday or Saturday raid times
- Nice environment (no yelling, jerks, racism/sexism/homophobia/transphobia, etc.)
- Skilled environment (people know their stuff, show up on time, use consumables, etc.)
Here’s what we offer:
- 3+ year veterans of the game
- Experience with Vale Guardian
- Willingness to learn (observe, watch videos, etc.)
- TS3, Mumble, Discord (will download whatever you use and have mic)
- Good attitude re: wipes, setbacks, etc.
- Multiple professions with full ascended gear (me: tank or dps engi, healer druid; him: tank or dps chrono, ps or condi warrior, dps dragon hunter, condi engi, power or condi daredevil, power revenant)
We’re more than willing to use forums, go through a Trial Period, etc.
If your guild fits what we’re seeking and we seem like a good fit for you, please reply here or send me a PM.

Friendly bump! =)
Friendly bump for you! I list [SIS] when recommending LGBT guilds to people, so it’s great to be able to link to your recruitment post.
Also sending warmth your way, to [SIS] and its members for Transgender Day of Remembrance today. Our trans members and allies stand in solidarity with yours to remember the siblings we’ve lost.
Hiya! I replied to your other post, but I want to reply here, too. I don’t know of any LGBT guilds exclusively on Blackgate, but here are the ones I’ve seen:

Good luck with your guild! =)
Hiya, Pink!
I’d recommend my guild, Ember Solace, but we’re 100% rep and that wouldn’t work with your streaming stuff. But! I keep a list of other LGBT guilds just in case [SOL] doesn’t work out for people. I’m pretty sure most (all?) of these aren’t 100% rep, and one is even trans-specific. Maybe one of these will work! =)
- (NA) Our Sanctuary [LGBT]
- (NA) The Gryphon’s Aerie [REST] (LGBT-friendly)
- (NA) Sisters Not Cisters [SIS] (Trans + allies)
- (NA) Syndicate of the Shadows [SOS] (LGBTQA)
Hiya! My LGBT guild is NA, but I do keep a list of other LGBT guilds as I come across them, and here are some I’ve seen in the EU region. (I dunno what specific server they’re on.)
- (EU) New Rainbow Guild (Trans only)
- (EU) Falling Knights (LGBT)
- (EU) Tenrou Fairy Tale (LGBT)
- (EU) Rainbow Pride [GAaY] (LGBT)
- (EU) Draco Intra [DRI] (LGBT)
You can put the name + “guild wars 2” through Google to find their recruitment pages. Hope this helps, and good luck!
Alde was one of my fav places to hang out in RO. Good luck with your guild!
Hiya, GrimboSnipes!
While my guild wouldn’t be a good fit, I do know that Remnants of Hope has several members in the military. I wouldn’t say it’s the good majority, but there’s definitely a military presence, an understanding of military culture, and complete flexibility when it comes to things like playtime availability due to rotating shifts, tours of duty, etc. Maybe they’ll be a good fit! If not, I wish you luck with your search. =)
Awesome, thank you for the info. I’ve added you to my list of LGBTQ Guild Suggestions. =) (Also, I think I saw you on our forums, so hello!)
Hello! While I can’t personally offer any pirate RP, I did want to link to the Guild Wars 2 RolePlayers website, which has a lot of activity and might be a good place to check, too. I know it lists Tarnished Coast as the unofficial NA role-playing server, but really, because of the megaserver, you can still join in events even being on Northern Shiverpeaks. I hope you find what you’re looking for, matey!
Hiya! I lead an LGBTQ guild, too. Sometimes we have people who are looking for something a little different than we offer, so I like to keep a list of other LGBTQ guilds so I can suggest them. Could you tell me which region you’re in (NA or EU), so I can keep you in mind to recommend to people? Thank you, and good luck with your guild! =)
Hiya, Timothy! If you were on NA, I’d suggest my guild, Ember Solace, but I do keep a list of queer-friendly EU guilds on hand for this very occasion. =)
I’m not sure how feminist-friendly these guilds are, but they all advertise themselves as LGBT guilds (except for New Rainbow, which is trans only):
- (EU) New Rainbow Guild (Trans only)
- (EU) Falling Knights (LGBT)
- (EU) Tenrou Fairy Tale (LGBT)
- (EU) Rainbow Pride [GAaY] (LGBT)
- (EU) Draco Intra [DRI] LGBT)
If you Google the name of the guild + “gw2” then you’ll get their recruitment posts which will have their contact info and how to join. I hope one of them (or another guild) works out for you!

Hiya, Gaile!
Here’s our entry from Ember Solace. We’re an NA PvX guild with a focus on really caring about each other — and being awesome!
Edited to add: The first track is “Out of the Dream” from Guild Wars 2, and the second track is “Legacy of the Gods” from Guild Wars: Eye of the North.
(edited by Jevati.4328)
Oh, Ruemilan, I think my guild would be a great fit for you and your friends! I lead a guild called Ember Solace, and I specifically founded the guild as a safe space for LGBTQ people, women, people of color, people with disabilities, and other people who generally tend to get harassed and discriminated against (especially online). I’m really sorry that you had such an awful experience in your first guild. =\ I’ve been there, and it just ruins the game.
I know that a lot of guilds say they don’t tolerate any bigotry or anything, but I promise you that we are very serious about it. Please take a look at our Purpose and Principles where we make our stance on all of that very clear. (All members are required to read and “sign” it upon joining.)
So a little more about us! We’re a PvX guild with a broad focus that includes PvE, PvP, Role-Play, and Social activities. If you’re curious about the kinds of events we do, you can check out our Calendar. We’re super excited for Heart of Thorns, too! Also, we’re definitely newbie-friendly. We actually have a “Guidance Team” led by Mustachio, with Sarah and Mikey helping out, and their sole purpose is to help new members acclimate to the guild and help new players acclimate to the game. Like you, we enjoy playing what we like and what feels right, although we do have a few members who really enjoy theory-crafting.
We use TeamSpeak3, but it’s optional, and we do have people who choose not to use it for various reasons. No one is pressured to use it, but most people choose to log on, even if just to listen only, for things like Guild Missions.
Also, we’re 100% rep and we have an application and a Trial Period. I know that might sound kind of hardcore for a relaxed guild, but we’re serious about the safe space, and it’s a lot easier to keep it safe when we have the application and Trial Period. =P (The application isn’t about gear or level or anything like that; it’s a sort of “get to know you” to make sure people will be a good fit.)
If you like what you’re hearing so far, you can register on our forums (and validate your e-mail) to get read-only access to our GW2 sections (including our Social Corner), so you can kind of check us out more. You’ll be able to read all of the threads in those sections, which will give you an idea of the kind of guild environment we have, how we treat each other, etc. (Plus just visiting the forums will let you see our ShoutBox and people’s avatars/signatures, which will also help show what we’re like.)
If you have any questions, I’m more than happy to answer them. You can PM me here or, if you register on our forums, you can send me a PM there, or you can always try to catch me in game. I hope you’ll consider us! =)
(edited by Jevati.4328)
This says they did play GW2 but moved to ArcheAge?
http://forums.archeagegame.com/showthread.php?20549-EU-English-speaking-guild-One-Gold-Coin
But it also says they were known as Agents of Shadow [AoS] in GW2, so I’m not sure. Maybe if you register on that website, you can send a PM to their leader and find out more.
Hiya, Foley! It’s rare to see someone looking for a 100% rep guild; usually it’s the opposite. =)
From what you said (dungeon, FotM, 100% rep, Tarnished Coast), I think you’d like my guild, Ember Solace.
We’re a PvX guild on Tarnished Coast, and we’re 100% rep (with the only exception being briefly switching to a bank alt while in town). We have an application and a trial period to weed out trolls and keep the guild close-knit.
There are lots of spontaneous opportunities for the activities you mentioned, but we also have lots of scheduled events, mostly run by our Leadership Team. For dungeons, we have Dungeon Master runs on Tuesday nights with Cryo. That’s designed to help our members get the Dungeon Master title; people who show up vote on which path(s) to do. Then we also have Dastardly Dungeons on Wednesday nights with Vero, our PvE Officer. Those are the somewhat harder, less-run paths, such as TA Aetherblade and Arah Explorable. We also have several Fractal groups, from Beginner Fractals (no experience or Agony Resist needed) to Progression Fractals. Currently, we have two regular Progression Fractal groups that run on Sunday afternoons: one for Fractal 30-39 and one for Fractal 40-50.
Our event times are given in Eastern, but we have several members on the West coast (including half our Leadership Team; there’s a running joke to relocate all of us to the Portland/Seattle area, lol). If you’d like to see what kinds of events we run (and when we run them), please check out our Calendar.
If you register on our forums, you can get read-access to our GW2 sections, so you can see everything from our PvP build discussions to our “Guess the Random Playing Card” contest to our Progression Fractal sign-ups and more. It might give you a feel for the kind of people we are and how we interact with each other.
Then, if you like what you see, you can fill out our application in the Applications section (at the bottom). And if you have any questions about anything, you can definitely contact me or Mustachio, our Guidance Officer: Mustachio.3809. (He’s in charge of welcoming new members to the guild and answering questions from potential members.)
I hope we hear from you soon, Foley!
Hello, Cynestra! Welcome back to Tyria. =) From what you described (a casual PvE guild with Eastern time zone events), I believe my guild, Ember Solace, would be a good fit for you.
We’re on Tarnished Coast (although that doesn’t matter except for WvW). We have 72 members in the guild, with about 50-55 logging in each day, and about 18-25 online during peak times (which are Eastern evening hours).
We use TeamSpeak3, we are 100% rep (our members can’t be in any other guilds), and we have an application (to weed out trolls/elitists).
If you’re interested in us, I invite you to check out our forums, and especially our Calendar, so you can see what we’re like and what kinds of events we do. If you register (and validate your e-mail), you get read-access to our GW2 sub-forums, so you can scope us out a bit before deciding if you want to apply.
We’re really friendly and welcoming, and we’d like to get to know you. =) Let me know if you have any questions, and I hope we hear from you soon!
Hiya, Sen! My guild, Ember Solace, is very newbie-friendly. We actually have a Guidance Officer (Mustachio) whose role is to help make sure new members to the guild feel welcomed and new players to the game are mentored.
We’re not on Sea of Sorrows, but since you said you’re willing to consider other options, maybe we’d be a good fit for you. We’re on Tarnished Coast, and we have a laid-back environment. We’re 100% rep (which means that all of our members are only allowed to be in Ember Solace, not in any other guilds), and we have an application. Don’t worry, though; the application isn’t about gear or level. It’s to weed out trolls and keep the guild a warm, friendly place.
If you’re interested, please visit our forums and register (and validate your e-mail). Then you can preview our GW2 sub-forums and check us out to see if you want to fill out the application.
I hope we hear from you soon! =)
Hiya, Xehanort!
My guild, Ember Solace, could be a good fit for you. Are you willing to be in a guild with 100% rep requirements? We’re 100% rep, and we have an application (to weed out trolls/elitists) and Trial Period.
We’re PvX on Tarnished Coast, and our events are in Eastern time. We have something going on every day of the week (you can check it out on our Calendar, and we definitely have dungeons and Fractals.
We have a low-level Fractal group that currently meets at 8:00 PM Eastern on Sunday, plus a high-level (40+ reward) Progression Fractal group that meets at 4:00 PM Eastern on Sunday, as well. There are also people who enjoy doing spontaneous Fractals of varying levels for fun and for the daily.
We have a Dungeon Master group that meets on Tuesdays at 10:30 PM Eastern, and that’s designed to help people get every path of every dungeon, for the Dungeon Master title. Then, we have our “Dastardly Dungeon” group on Wednesdays at 10:00 PM Eastern, which is designed to tackle the “harder” dungeon paths, such as the TA Aetherblade and the Arah paths.
Plus, we also have beginner dungeon runs periodically, and people randomly run all kinds of dungeon paths for fun, so there should be a lot of what you’re looking for, both scheduled and spontaneous.
We don’t require the meta, but we do try to be organized and work together as a team (especially when Vero’s leading, lol… she’s very disciplined). We use TeamSpeak 3, and we also run Guild Missions on Saturdays after reset (8:30 PM Eastern).
If you’re interested, please visit our forums and register, validate your e-mail, and fill out our Application (near the bottom in the Applications section). If you have any questions, I’m happy to answer them. =)
Hiya, Aetheogh!
Since you didn’t say anything about WvW, it won’t matter what server you’re on, as long as you pick a guild in the same region (North American). And in that case, my guild might be a good fit.
We’re Ember Solace, and we’re a PvX guild on Tarnished Coast. We mostly do PvE, with regular PvP events, along with forum and in-game RP. No one is required to attend any events, although we do have an inactivity policy that requires all members to log in at least once a month.
Although our guild event times are listed in Eastern, we have many players (including half our Officers/Assistants, lol) on the West Coast, and our times span well enough that they might work out for you.
Although we do use TeamSpeak 3, it’s entirely optional. No one is required to download it or use it if they don’t want to. We have some people in the guild who choose not to communicate via voice for their own reasons (sometimes because of anxiety), and we previously had a Deaf person in the guild, as well. Although some people like to hang out in TeamSpeak to talk, 90% of our social communication happens in guild chat. Also, for things like Guild Missions, everything important said on TeamSpeak (such as when a Bounty target is found or instructions for how to complete a Guild Puzzle) is also relayed via guild chat in order to make the events accessible to everyone. I, myself, get easily overwhelmed with auditory stimuli, so I stay off of TS almost all the time so I can enjoy the game. I can make a personal promise that we do not require it or guilt people into logging on or anything like that.
We’re 100% rep, and we have an application (to weed out trolls, not about gear/level) along with a Trial Period to make sure we’re a good fit for you and you’re a good fit for us.
If you’d like to find out more about us, please visit our forums. Immediately, you’ll be able to view our Calendar, our FAQ, and our Purpose and Principles. If you choose, you can also register a username and validate your e-mail, which will give you read-only access to our GW2 sections, so you can take a look at how we interact with each other and see if our community has the kind of vibe you’re looking for.
Also, if you have any questions, you can feel free to PM me here or on our guild forums. I hope we hear from you soon! =)
Hiya, Norrath!
If you’re looking for a guild that does RP, then you might like my guild, Ember Solace. We’re a PvX guild on Tarnished Coast, and we have forum RP and in-game RP. The in-game official story arc RP happens on Friday nights (Eastern time), but there are people interested in RP at other times, and they coordinate for that. Noodle is our RP Officer (the person who heads up our RP), with Dasha and Squiddy as her Assistants.
We’re 100% rep (people in Ember Solace can’t be in any other guilds at all), and we have an (OOC) application and a Trial Period. If you’re interested, you can check out our forums. The Calendar is viewable to anyone, and if your register and confirm your e-mail, you can get read-access to most of our GW2 sections.
If you’re looking for a guild that focuses on RP specifically, you could check out Guild Wars 2 Roleplayers. They have a Guild Recruitment sub-forum that’s pretty active.
Technically, Tarnished Coast was adopted as the “unofficial RP server” for NA, but now that the megaserver system has been implemented, server no longer matters for anything except WvW, as long as you’re in the same region (e.g., NA).
Good luck in your guild search!
Hiya, Elexa! My guild isn’t EU, but I’ve seen these LGBT EU guilds on the forums or in-game, so maybe one of them will work:
- (EU) New Rainbow Guild (Trans only)
- (EU) Falling Knights (LGBT)
- (EU) Tenrou Fairy Tale (LGBT)
- (EU) Rainbow Pride [GAaY] (LGBT)
- (EU) Draco Intra (LGBT)
Good luck!
Hiya, Nyro!
I may be a little late on this, if you’ve already found a guild, but I thought I’d reply just in case. I’m the leader of Ember Solace, a PvX guild on Tarnished Coast. We mostly do PvE, and we’re definitely friendly and social.
We use TeamSpeak3, although it’s optional for members (but most people use it during coordinated events). We run events pretty much every night of the week (usually in Eastern evening times).
You can actually get a great feel for the guild by going to our forums. You can click the “Calendar” option at the top to see all of the upcoming events. If you register and confirm your e-mail, you can get read-access to our GW2 sections, so you can see what we’re like and how we interact with each other.
Also, I noticed that you’re working on 100% Map Completion. We have “Musical Map Completion” events every week (currently on Saturday afternoons), run by Aemys, where we listen to music in TeamSpeak and work on Map Completion together.
Anyway, I think you might like us! If you’re still looking for a guild, please consider us. We’re 100% rep (and I can explain more about that if you’re not sure what that means), and we have an application on the forums.
The application is not about gear or level; it’s just to weed out trolls and keep the guild friendly.
I hope we hear from you soon, and please let me know if you have any questions! ^^
I would suggest looking for a teaching guild or training guild that is willing to teach you everything you need to know about Arah. Then you can practice and try looking for a hardcore guild. Good luck!
Hiya!
Do you do a lot of WvW? If so, then a guild on Stormbluff will be important. But if you do PvE and then sPvP, then it won’t matter what server your guild is on, as long as they’re in the same NA region.
If you’re not doing WvW, maybe you’d consider my guild, Ember Solace. We’re a PvX guild on Tarnished Coast, and we’re definitely active.
Every week, we do sPvP, Tequatl, trivia, musical map completion, role-play, farming, Guild Missions, and progression (high-level) Fractals. We use TS3, but it’s not required.
We’re 100% rep, and we have an application (but it’s not about gear/level, it’s just to weed out trolls).
If you’re interested, you can apply on our forums, and I’m happy to answer any questions. =)
Hiya, Zaralynda,
Not wanting to have to deal with sexism (and the other -isms) is pretty much why I founded my guild, Ember Solace. We’re a PvX guild on Tarnished Coast, and we’re definitely very friendly. We have a Purpose & Principles that all of our members must read and sign as our guild guidelines to follow, and it works very well.
If you’re on a North American server, I think we’d be a really great fit for you. We’re 100% rep and we have an application (to weed out just those sort of dudbros you mentioned).
If you’re interested, please register on our forums and let me know if you have any questions. =)
Hiya, Kel Moros!
There are a few LGBTQ guilds, although I don’t know of any based specifically out of Dragonbrand. Unless you’re doing a lot of WvW, server won’t really be an issue if you’re in the same region (like North America).
Here are some North American LGBTQ guilds that I know of:
- (NA) Our Sanctuary [LGBT]
- (NA) The Gryphon’s Aerie [REST] (LGBT-friendly)
- (NA) Sisters Not Cisters [SIS] (Trans + allies)
Our Sanctuary is a large guild (400+ people) with no rep requirement. The Gryphon’s Aerie is a small-medium guild with a relaxed rep requirement. Sisters Not Cisters is a smaller guild with a relaxed rep requirement (and is primarily for trans people and allies).
I also run an LGBTQ guild, Ember Solace. We’re 100% rep and we have an application and forum-usage requirements, so I’m not sure if we’d be a good fit for you. But if you’re interested, feel free to check out our application and Purpose & Principles (guild guidelines). =)
Also, in case any EU people are reading this, here are some EU LGBTQ guilds I’ve seen:
- (EU) New Rainbow Guild (Trans only)
- (EU) Falling Knights (LGBT)
- (EU) Tenrou Fairy Tale (LGBT)
- (EU) Rainbow Pride [GAaY] (LGBT)
- (EU) Draco Intra (LGBT)
Friendly bump for a fellow LGBT guild! ^^
Hey Aidyn!
Thanks for the offer to join your guild… The only problem is that I am on Crystal Desert and that would have me to transfer U.U Not like it would matter anyways since I don’t really play with anyone in the game as of now XD. I only transferred to Crystal Desert because it was free so transferring over would cost money :/
Oh, you’d only need to transfer if you wanted to do WvW with us. Otherwise, because of the megaserver, you could still stay on Crystal Desert without any problems. =)
Heya, Megabyte!
If you’re comfortable with a PvX guild that has 100% rep, you might be interested in my guild, Ember Solace. We’re based on Tarnished Coast (but with the megaserver system, that doesn’t really matter except for WvW). We have an awesome RP Team, led by Noodle with Dasha and Squiddy assisting. They have ongoing forum RP (both incidental and a far-reaching story arc), plus there is in-game RP. Most in-game RP happens on Thursday nights, and varies from week to week in type, such as IC dungeon runs or tavern nights or the official story arc.
If you’re interested, please feel free to send me a PM here or a whisper or in-game mail, and we can talk more. =)
Thank you, ANet. I can’t tell you how much this means to me and to my guild.
Hiya, Allaraina! If you’re okay with a 100% rep guild, my guild, Ember Solace, has an awesome RP Team. (We’re a PvX guild on Tarnished Coast.)
We do casual in-game RP spontaneously as members want to, and we have scheduled in-game RP on Thursday nights. Noodle, Dasha, and Squiddy (the RP Team), have created a story arc and are currently looking to fill some roles in the guild’s IC structure (like liaisons, Pact members, etc.). We also have some light forum RP going on. One of the RP events people have been enjoying is IC Dungeons/Fractals, which they did this past Thursday.
If you’re interested, we have an OOC application (to weed out trolls) on our forums. And if you have any questions, I’ll be happy to answer them or point you to the RP Team. =)
Hiya, ChibuChan! If you’re still looking, maybe my guild, Ember Solace, would be fun for you? We’re a PvX guild on Tarnished Coast (North American), and we’re super newbie friendly. =) We actually have a Guidance Team especially for helping new people with things. Just last night, we helped one of our new members with his first Story Mode dungeon. Also, we have a couple people in the guild who enjoy cosplaying, and many who like kawaii things. Plus, we’ve got a poll up right now for the best day/time for an anime movie night. ^^
If you’re interested, you should know that we’re 100% rep and we have an application (to weed out trolls). You can apply on our forums. I hope we hear from you soon! ^^
Hiya, Mark!
Here are a list of LGBTQ guilds that I could recommend:
- (NA) Our Sanctuary [LGBT]
- (NA) The Gryphon’s Aerie [REST]
- (NA) Sisters Not Cisters [SIS] (Trans + allies)
- (EU) New Rainbow Guild (Trans only)
- (EU) Falling Knights (LGBT)
- (EU) Tenrou Fairy Tale (LGBT)
Many of them have recruitment topics in this forum, or if you Google GW2 + the name of their guild, their recruitment topic will come up and you can PM the leader that way. Best of luck!
Ah, that’s understandable. I hope you’re able to find a good fit with another guild. =)
Hello, llafae! If you’re looking for more of an active-yet-casual guild, you might want to check out my guild, Ember Solace. We’re a PvX guild on Tarnished Coast, and we do Guild Missions every Saturday at 8:30 p.m. EDT.
We have 70 members (at the moment), we do a little bit of everything, and we’d love to do PvE content with you. We’re 100% rep (with the exception of bank alts), and we have an application (but it’s not about gear or level… it’s just to weed out trolls and such).
If you’d like to check us out, you can visit our forums. If you register, you get read-access to our GW2 sections (or you can just stay a guest and watch our ShoutBox as Mitha live-blogs excitedly about the new Guild Hall announcements, lol).
I hope we hear from you soon!
