Newish Mesmer Questions on Build

in Mesmer

Swish.2463

Dungeons have fallen off since the nerd to rewards and that’s really the only place mesmer a needed reflects…
As dissapointing as it might be anet reworked mesmer to make shattering more available and playable in all game modes so you’ll really just have to get used to it. Sure you can still leave phantasms up for a few attacks but the way we are set up now you lose out by not shattering. It used to be the opposite.
If you have heart of thorns then just be pre paired to head for chronomancer later on. Shattering plays a big part in keeping cool downs low and keeping you alive in various game modes.
If you have your heart set on playing a purely pet class then pick up ranger or try a necro minion master. If those don’t do it for you then maybe find a second game to scratch that itch.

Duelist or Domination?

in Mesmer

Posted by: Swish.2463

Swish.2463

Duelist is probably the better option to begin with. Dom is full of hefty conditional damage and modifiers to damage but with this class you’ll have to start getting used to shatters.

What does that really mean tho? Duelist contains more of your active survivability associated traits which includes Vigor on Crit, Reflect on evade, Blind on evade, etc.. and the base for most mesmer builds of Deceptive Evasion in the GM tier. The last one makes shattering clones and generating them extremely easy.

If you’re comfortable with Gw2 and its systems already I would recommend Duelist first to really get used to the one step back two steps forward way of thinking it tends to take to really get into Mesmer. If you’re a brand new player who is much more used to traditional mage style of distance and damage then Domination is probably a better fit.

Mesmer Nerf Train Never Ends

Swish.2463

But honestly when a class has to give up its elite spec just to act as a counterpick for something the enemy may or may not be running (such as in queues) you know you have a problem.

Sorry this point is wrong. This is actually one of the few good things to come with HoT.

This is what made Gw1 PvP just as gut wrenching as well. The knowledge that there were multiple meta builds and team comps and you and your crew or maybe just you, had to try and compensate for that whenever you went to play.

It is a good thing to have a revolving door set up where builds and teams need to prep and then later switch things up. If you picked completely wrong on the first match (seems like every single Gw2 “Pro” match up consists of 3 to 5 rounds) Then you take it on the nose and try to recover. It means tournament players have to pay attention to one another and any new comers, there isnt going to be a “We all run the exact same team comp with the same builds and same weapons and runes and sigils as each other, so whoever lags first loses” kittening bore anymore.

Having strong Builds that have a small handful of counters is also a good thing, specially when they all share similar weakness with one another.

TLDR : You’re wrong, a Meta that can actually shift and rotate is something Gw2 has been missing for 3 kittening years, we need it badly don’t kill it in its infancy.

Shield 4

in Mesmer

Posted by: Swish.2463

Swish.2463

Proposing something here, feel free to add or subtract and argue below.

Shield 4 : Current
Channel block skill – blocks 1 attack -> Summons phantasm -> activates deja vu
or – Runs duration of block -> summons phantasm

Proposed
Channel Block Skill – Blocks attacks for duration -> applies (Slow?) once per unique attacker (icd 2s?) / Pulse Boon/Alacrity to nearby allies (icd 2s?) -> opens up deja vu
or – Channels for duration -> if no blocks, summons phantasm

As fantastic as the phantasm isnt when it comes to PvE, i think something like this, which is admittedly front loading, would allow Chronomancers to handle front line combat a bit differently than other classes currently do; ie, using the shield to absorb the brunt of a burst and give a second wind to others nearby.

Maintaining De ja Vu at its current state to allow for the phantasm to still appear at least once.

This could also avoid over-buffing of the phantasm into beastly nerf territory or beastly bugged monster.. Admittedly the Phant probably still needs work but my focus here was bringing support from the shield directly to the player rather than to the AI it summons.

Making shield useful in PvE.

in Mesmer

Posted by: Swish.2463

Swish.2463

I think there is a strong divide here but over the wrong issue.

Is shield poor for personal DPS? Probably, but note that it provides quickness and our new toy to not just us but allies as well.

Is shield poor for Party Synergy? Probably not, i doubt anyone has been able to thoroughly test this for hours and hours with a team of people to find out.

Part of this argument seems to be all about “Me” and “My damage” when compared to “that other class” and “its damage”. Problem is Chrono doesn’t look like its built with raw uncomparable DPS in mind. Its a team player. Party buffs, Wells, and CC heavy.

The other issue is the Direction that Gw2 seems to be taking. There seems to be a push in several directions and they dont all Line up very well.. Some classes are pushed more towards support and team play while others are being pushed further into the Selfish DPS Might Stacking play style we have right now..

Still others are trying to fill out new roles, like the Reaper with its Chill damage or the guardian with its new sub class that seems to play like more of a Trap Ranger from Gw1 era..

I personally think the Shield will be just fine to use and bring into PvE, provided the bugs get worked out with everything, so long as you prove to valuable to your average group of players or friends. I also feel like this is a good first direction for a Mesmer Sub Class to take, as it begins to open up the field for Control finding its spot in the two larger areas of the game (PvE and PvP)

Ultimately I think that using the shield or not should and will come down to how you like to play the game. Murderous people who want Big red numbers and can only enjoy the game via Min/Max on their Time and efforts probably wont use the shield. Those who enjoy taking more of a back seat and helping others excel in a battle will Probably be taking it.

Personally, I will be taking the shield a sword and either a Staff or GS depending on what is needed.

One question i Have tho, mostly aimed at Chaos and the Devs..
Does F5 also cancel out any Internal CD’s on Traits? Provided that you trigger them while in continum and then pop back.

If it does, a Phant build to share boons could really shine.. Just a thought for this weekend.

Arcane Thievery ...confirm?

in Mesmer

Posted by: Swish.2463

Swish.2463

A while ago this skill had what I can only refer to as a “cone” of operation, where in, it would only work successfully if you were facing your target with a minimum of about 30-40 degrees to either side. You also had to be within the range indicated by about an extra 200 to guarantee a non fail.

I havent the time to go test this but things i would check for are these.

1. Angles – get a buddy and then face one direction, allow them to move around you and find spots it fails to work.

2. Distance – Check to make sure the range indicator and range listed are correct. Have your buddy move forwards and backwards. it could be that while the tool tip and intended range is 1200 the actual range is the old base of 600-900 or whatever it was.

3. Aegis and block – Check to make sure its still working correctly against blocks and the boon.

4. Condition / Boon – a bit rougher but check to make sure that its not bugging out and failing due to the boon and condition stacking changes. It could be having an error with some of these and just failing.

Distracting Daggers

Swish.2463

Yeah I’ve got my eye on this but we’ll see how it goes in the reveals and stuff. Just as mesmers wouldn’t/didn’t like people crying about chrono being OP before release and everything I don’t think we should cry either.

I don’t think it seems OP, but I’m a little miffed at them giving power block mechanics to another class, particularly the one that’s immune to it.

What gets me is that they have the entire thing loaded into the utility, while we have to trait for it -_-u

and yet as a chrono its entirely possible to stun a target 6 times in a row Via a timely combo on Shield 5 + F5

Combine that with Power Block. I’m not going to complain.. Stun still works on thieves.

I’m curious to see how the new Thief Spec plays out but it wont be playable this coming weekend which is a bit sad.. I just hope it doesn’t return them to the status of Mesmer / Chrono Killer and push us straight out of the meta yet again.

Fields of Fire [Everywhere]

Swish.2463

Actually i would really miss the Vigor, Mesmer vigor has been nerfed a lot over the past two years, first with the recharge reduction and then the ICD placed on the Dueling trait.

Cleansing at the end of wells felt very risky and minimal as far as condition removal goes, as far as i could tell anyway. yet adding a cleanse per pulse as default on the heal feels far too strong.

Most replys seem to be ok with maintaining a weakness but I’m personally with Pyro that having 0 access at all in the sub classes traits or skills seems wrong.

Here is why:
Manipulations – Arcane Thievery
Glamours – Null Field
Mantra – Concentration
Illusions – iEnchanter
Wells – ?

It feels inconsistent when each other set of utility lines does contain a condition removal of some kind.

I would argue for a change to the Well of Precognition. While Unblockable and Blur looks lovely on paper its just.. well its bad.

What if this well applied Resistance for three pulses and then cleansed 2 conditions? This leaves us the option of not being reliant on a Trait and gives it some ompf for bunkering and party support that requires much less coordination.

Fields of Fire [Everywhere]

in Mesmer

Posted by: Swish.2463

Swish.2463

No, not going to ask for fire fields for the Mesmer or chronomancer, I enjoy playing one of the three classes that doesn’t have these..

However, after the announced changes for next BWE and the Warrior Spec emerging from the mists, I have some concerns and would like to leave this as more of an open discussion.

The Mesmer and by proxy, Chronomancer, were intended to be a class that is weak against condition heavy builds and enemies. This has been stated before.

As of late, this has been less of an issue thanks to the trait rework, but Chrono seems to be reapplying this old standard.

Is this a bad thing? In some ways it would seem yes. The condition reworking has turned some conditions into nightmares for those that have no way to clear them, one in particular is Burning. Hence we get back to the Title of this thread.

It seems that most of the new things coming in HoT will be applying Lots and Lots of burning, we have the Revenant and by association, The Herald, the Brezerker, The Tempest, I would hazard to guess that whatever Thief and ranger are getting will also come with some burning and fire fields.

So here is my question: With so much Burning and Condition options opening up on other classes, Should the Chronomancer Line and Skills have a reliable way, via either a Well or a Trait, to clear conditions? Or, should Conditions remain just a Hazard of playing the class?

Revenant will be fun to see in the game once its been balanced and worked on a bit more but right now its not going to be replacing an Ele or Guard for self sustain and support. It’s very low mobility makes it more of a bruiser tank for the mid to back line joining the front line at the end of fights to put down the final pressure to kill or bring back a chance for victory.

Revenant will likely compete more with Necro and Engi than it will any other class for utility and presence.

Tempest however is just the Ele with a handful of new toys. Nothing game altering or play style revolution about this Specialization, if you ran a D/D ele, you will continue to do so but with even more blast finishers and burning. probably lose a little bit of self sustain in the process as well…

But what can you really give the class that literally already has all the tools it will ever need?

if i may offer a few more

Firing off the projectile retains the damage of Counter, causes daze. This is more risky but offers a choice to hold or risk not blocking for similar rewards.

Counter blade causes Stealth after damage is applied. Kinda steps on torch but it couples well with the new clone causing auto targeting confusion and frustration.

Counter blade can block up to X (lets say 3) incomming attacks. Damage is sent back to sources. Reduce base damage to avoid 8k Spikes on stupid players that hit you all three times.

Counter blade disables (excluding auto attacks) blocked attack skill for an extra amount of time. Maybe 5 seconds or something. Throws of timing and rotations for burst based classes.

if you’re going to try to hybrid between Direct Damage and Conditions then i’d say mix sinister with Zerker,

Beyond that your build looks like its trying to do too much all at the same time to me.

try to focus down on what you really want to do. Conditions from Shatters is nice but you need a staff or Scepter to make investing in Rabid Gear worth while. Bleeding wont get you very far. neither will short bursts of confusion and some Torment.

and as stated above, its easy to go overboard on Precision, once you hit 60% you can trust that nearly every hit will crit, pushing it further eats up points you could put elsewhere..

Left in the Dark, an Open Letter to our Devs

in Thief

Posted by: Swish.2463

Swish.2463

As a Mesmer main for forever, Its sad to see thieves sitting in their tears, and also a bit sweet.

I’ve never been good with the class and historically it negated my profession of choice from PvP for years but I think you guys face a very similar problem to Mesmers when it comes to development.

At launch you were handed a set of toys that are very hard to balance against each other, some were broken and OP, others were just stupid.

Now it comes down to figuring out how to revitalize thieves without making them OP again. Either it need to be a new mechanic or doubling up on something you already have (I wouldn’t mind seeing more evades rather than stealth spam). Either way, much like the Mesmer, your elite spec may be what you will be forced into using for the foreseeable future to compete on equal footing with other classes once again.

As happy as we are with Chronomancer, we all know and acknowledge in some extent its what the core class probably should have been from the word go.

I feel like the game doesnt need a 1v1 specialist with so much of the heavy focus being on Group combat, Thief could probably do to retain its single target spiking but with the ability to rapidly hit multiple targets without tabbing till your fingers bleed, as it moves in and out of the fight.

So when is the ele and mes nerf comming?

in PvP

Posted by: Swish.2463

Swish.2463

Its not first page so this will get ignored but anyone who takes time to dig into the Mesmer will find out a few things very quickly.

PU – Its broken, not OP. Traits associated with this are literally not functioning correctly and thus we have the long stealth and boon generation happening. when the bugs are worked out PU will be much more back in line than it currently is.

No nerf needed, just bug fixes.

Damage – Mesmer got a slight boost to its damage but the trait rework is what has allowed the class to boom. Are we OP? No, we’re just no longer forced to take two trait lines to function in PvP. Mesmer are now allowed to mix things up and be more defensive or offensive or utility based, offering the class more control over fights than it really previously had.

Side note, Mesmer damage is already well below most other classes when it comes to sustain and its bursts are arguably still smaller and harder to pull off than other classes. Remember that the Mesmer itself has lower base damage thanks to Phantasms hitting so hard (some of them anyway) and also remember that phantasms are pretty easy to knock down.

They carry less health than most engi turrets and less than Ele summons.

Whats really changed is that you cannot ignore the Mesmer anymore like you used to. Its a threat and its versatile.

Its in a very good place now where it can compete with other classes.

PS.
Mesmer mains from launch are also used to being very scrappy fighters and have developed reflexes and automatic responses that allow them to excel with the new options. You may also just be getting out played if its not a Stealth hog PU

Looking at gravity well and your fears about the triple pull.

Meanest already have a similar skill to what I will suggest, which is pistol #5

Rather that three pulls aand then float what if is well applied let’s say chill then slow then pulled and then floated or something along those lines.. Making it the all around cc elite skill with chunkier condition applications followed by the harder interrupting cc burst.

This mleans standing in the well is a bad idea but allows for a break and counter play from players to get out of the way in some situations without nuetering the potency of an elite.

something has been greatly overlooked here.

All events, no matter how easy and dumb they seem to be, have to have a “minimum” player threshold to complete. If this event stayed bugged, imagine trying to complete it with only 2 or 4 players doing the same thing you did.

How well would that have worked out for you? No commander tags, no organization, just you and a few others.

Chronomancer PvE Condition Build

Chrono and the wells dont lend themselves well to AoE condition Bombing..

I tried several builds today using different tactics and weapons and traits and Zerker gear came out on top still.

I was of more use doing large swathes of CC spam / Slow up keep and AoE direct damage than i was trying to jerry rig and gimmick a condition shatter build out of this sub class.

Chronomancer Feedback Thread

in Mesmer

Posted by: Swish.2463

Swish.2463

Been working on Chrono most of today and while my connection is garbage and i keep DC’ing these are my basic feelings after day 1

Shield : Its a better focus with a torch class Phantasm… Something needs altering or buffing on the phantasms end but the blocks are lovely… maybe just ditch the phant and add a third block?

F5 – Hardd to get the hang of but very useful for pulling off Large bursts and baiting out Spikes.. Duration could actually stand for a base line increase IMO Starts at 2s and increases for 1.5s per illusion there after? Either way, to get the best results it rquires a full 3+you shatter.. which is almost impossible to pull off when you actually want or need to use this skill… Duration increases all around to make it a bit more reliable (least we forget that some of our skills have a 1.5s casting time or longer)

Trait Line – Its very cute but fails to hold synergy very well with any other trait lines. Yes there are a few things in here that combo well with existing weapons and play styles but nothing that is clearly built with the old traits in mind. I know its early but at least half of these could do with combining or replacing to gain similar footing with the other 5 trait lines.

Wells – Much needed to put Chrono in line with literally every other class in the game and their AoE potentials. However they could do with some work still. The concept is interesting but many feel short changed or lack luster with either the wind up or pay off. I’d love to see things like Resistance / Pulls / Blasts and Reveal added to these.

Other thoughts – Why the kitten did you guys use the Minor Default trait simply to enable use of the shield? that feels like a complete rip off when compared to any other sub minor…

Its so refreshing to have new options on my mesmer but I fear it will get old very fast.. i really only have access to two more weapon set combo potentials… and scepter is garbage..

Chronomancer will be a Supportive CC class when its all said and done but wont end up lending itself well to Bunkering on Points. It seems to fair best as the traditional DPS/CC that Mesmer struggled to hold. Damage problems are still very much the same and many of the issues the core class faces are still present..

Final Thought from Day one tho?
Chrono is just a Better Mesmer than the core Mesmer. Hopefully it wont get Nerfed into the Mud so that Warriors can still feel good about themselves..

in Mesmer

Swish.2463

Dont really wanna poop on the parade but i see a lot of assumptions posted here about long lasting and chaining Slow on a target or multiple targets…

Lets remember that the Mesmer is designed to be a very Burst oriented class. We dont have long lasting conditions and the ones that we do are on hefty cool downs.

I would find it remarkable if we were to get more than 1 or 2 seconds of Slow per trigger meaning that while yes, it may be possible to chain these things together and keep a target Slowed for a short period of time, you’ll likely only be doing it once per fight or every other fight.

As for the rest of the OP, Don’t assume that Shatter builds are going to be the Strength of our first Sub Class. Chronomancer might be far more impactful as a Support or Control that focuses far less on damage and more on making sure that your team can execute their combos faster than the other side can whilst making it very hard for the opponent to recover… Is that a role that everyone wants to play? maybe not but maybe the option will finally be open to those that miss the older Mesmer style from Gw1.

Will i be taking a shield into PvP? Yes, i’m sick of using Sword/Sword and avoiding torch due to its garbage phantasm. I dont like to use Focus and Pistol cant decide if its a single target or multi target weapon.

Is Chill-Ruption Viable in Dungeons?

in Mesmer

Posted by: Swish.2463

Swish.2463

Something else to note, and not trying to sound negative about it, is that all interrupt focus builds are situational.

It’s not a bad thing to specialize for them but when it comes to pve and dungeons most encounters are very straight forward and don’t require you to specialize in much more than doing damage.

Can you be helpful by interrupting a big attack or something? Yes
Can you be just as helpful by making sure the enemy dies before it attacks? Certainly.

This is less applicable to PvP where situations will vary widely and your interrupts can stop a heal or elite and drastically alter the enemies play style or moral. Npcs just don’t panic like people do.

Just curious here, I’ve been pretty silent on the forums but I have been lurking and reading and watching what I can about HoT.

At this point, I think I will be migrating over to the Revenant and avoiding Mesmer for a long time. I wanted to know if anyone else from the Mesmer community will be doing the same.

Why do I want to know? Because this community and its players think differently and lend a different view to this game and how it can be played, and if for no other reason, at least to share discoveries about the class and how it can be abused to ruin everyone’s day.

But why Move?!? some of you shake your firsts with rage I’m sure..

With so much reworking of traits and stats and conditions etc… etc..
The Revenant is the Only, yes only, class fully developed and tested against this new ecosystem of Progression and Balance, making it the most likely to be fully functioning (aka OP) class out of the gate.

The traits rework and re shifting of Stats to Gear only is also of great concern to me as a Mesmer. As a Trait bound class, we’re not getting More or Better options out of this deal.. In fact we will receive Less than what is currently available. This also seems to further distance the class from its less traditional Roles (unless you want to invest into armor just to test a build) and make experimentation return to a Gold based (aka: Gem converters) Game rather than the current and much more liberating modle..

I think it’s wisest to move to the class that is ready for HoT already, rather than hoping my current one (lets call it a Block) doesnt lose all of its edges and appeal when it gets forced through that transitional period (lets call this the circular hole) … (lets also imagine Anet has a really big hammer that they use when they dont understand why their toy wooden block wont fit into the circular hole…)

I see all these people trying to compare it to Moa Morph but the duration is so much shorter. We can morph someone for 10 seconds. They can morph a group for 2 seconds. I don’t know about you guys but I can’t imagine what a mesmer or engineer could do to a group in 2 seconds that would be game-changing. Taking a specific target out of their comfort zone for 10 seconds is a lot more useful.

You can’t imagine what a Single mesmer or Engi could do in 2 seconds to a group of moa?

Admittedly maybe not a lot, but when you consider that, that engi or Mesmer has a Group fighting with them that can Down a focused Moa in under a second it becomes a HUGE deal. Or that 2 seconds can be enough to get a full res or cleanse and reset a fight in your favor. It breaks rotations, more so than a stun or daze would.

AoE is always the winner, no matter how short the durations are, ruining more than one persons day will always trump screwing up 1 guys ability to fight effectively.

DE, its more important for a lot more builds than IP.

After reading the blogpost my first thought involved an interrupted heal with 10s cd, while I autoattack with my might and quickness…

@Swish: We lose only 4 traits per traitline, some of them will just be combined others may just vanish. And I can see many that I would never use in the first place.

what you see and I see and the player base Sees is typically not what Anet See’s nor are they often even remotely aware of it… What are obvious choices for us to remove might be the things that are complied and kept.

I just read through the whole thing – very confusing, but it seems like they are putting in a lot of work.

One line which got me is “More power! You now get to select nine major traits instead of seven, including three grandmaster traits.”

Seriously?!? 9 major traits => 18 total trait points.

Will we be able to do things like 0/4/6/4/4 and so on?!?

kitten now I’m hyped.

nope, you will not be able to create a 0/4/6/4/4 build

you will be allowed to only create a 6/6/6 build, while having no access to the other two of your available trait lines.

You will also only have 9 choices (3 for each line) per trait teir.

On paper this looks like an idea to shift builds into heavier reliance on Gear while also dumbing down the trait system and preventing the dumber players from making dumb builds..

In practice i have no clue.. This new system looks extremely constrictive and has one of two paths it can go down. Either it’s great and the choices on traits were made well and the redesign was done to perfection to open up diversity for all classes. Or its a complete flop and it murders several classes chances in the “meta” while leaving others (cough, bet you anything warrior is getting that gm for a defiance bar) in all to good of a standing..

I think this is just another reinvention of the wheel we’ve had since launch and I’m just left completely unimpressed with the results and how long its taken. I will also miss having the freedom to choose from 5 trait lines to create a build.. My guardians build will be completely negated by this as well..

not sure if I follow you chaos.

Our Pool of Traits is being slashed into less than half the current one.

we dont know whats getting removed, whats being “streamlined” into each other, where things are being moved.. what will stay and what passively added things we’ll be getting..

Is Mesmer really a good choice for beginners?

in Mesmer

Swish.2463

A more and less scaredy answer is this..

Yes and no.

Yes it’s a good class to begin with as it’s a bit less straight forward. It gets you into deeper mechanics in gw2 faster than other classes will and it’ll make you a more scrappy player who looks at not just health bars and CD timers but terrain and los and so on so forth.

It’ll also teach you about bugs and exploits and cheats of some manner to fudge fights into your favor.

It’s also terrible for brand new players as the leveling process is very hard and will be frustrating and long. The current trait unlock system is also a giant mountain to overcome kitten much of what makes Mesmer good is in its traits and not it’s skills or weapons..

It’s more up to you what your willing to put up with and how fast you can learn

Mesmer traits: ideas for a redesign

in Mesmer

looks solid and i wont say don’t keep it up. there’s some well thought out stuff in here.

My only suggestion would be that in making and drafting such things out, make sure to look over things as a whole.

While it’s not possible to make some combos, it would be possible to create others and too much synergy between traits that are too strong creates a LOT of QQ and a quick and short drive to the Nerf Hammer farm.

Example :

Persuasive Illusions + Mind Crippling + Blinding Befuddlement + Ethereal Dazzle

These would not be exclusive in a 20/0/20/0/30 build.

Provided Persuasive illusions causes to gain the ability to use attacks such as Chaos Storm (Chances to proc chill) Or various other attacks that can inflict cripple (we have a handful on our weapons) This is very strong all on its own. Combine it with Slow and the Ethereal field from staffs Chaos storm and you have a huge CC bomb that also spams blind and stacks confusion through the roof.

These should probably be relocated or adjusted to be less mutual and more exclusive or just tone down the ability to exponentially escalate to outlandish potentials.

Mesmer Specialization Speculation

This has been beaten to death over in the mesmer sub forum already, but your ideas are kinda cute.

Tho, just to note, you’re super simple change of making clones not shatter is a pretty serious retooling of the entire class mechanic across the board. It probably is also very unbalanced in that respect and wouldnt lend a lot to really change the diversity of how mesmers are viewed or played.

Earlier release with less content?

in Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns

Would you rather have HoT released without some parts of content you wanted to see in the package (like the hardcore endgame pve content everyone is speculating about) just to be able to play it earlier?

Would you rather pay for a full priced game to get into “Early access” where in there is no garuntee that the game will even be playable or work correctly, The game is in constant flux between playable and broken, content to be delivered is not promised and is subject to change along with content already present being subject to change or complete removal where in the final product may not be what you would have wanted to pay for at all and you might not enjoy, all while not being allowed to submit any input into the development process that can be implemented or taken into account.

Or would you rather just pay for a game thats done and might get a few tweaks here and there and is delivering no lofty promises and ideas of what “could be”.

PS if you choose the first option, you’re whats wrong with the gaming community right now.
