That’s so ugly, I’ma vote for Kiel.
Tl;dr: GW2 is grindy because you’re trying to find a grind and can only see grinds everywhere since there’s no obvious vertical progression and horizontal progression cannot be possible in any MMORPG, since everyone is the best there ever was, like no one ever was. They caught them, which was the real test. The grind is clearly the cause. Guild Wars 2~!
The correct solution is to actually give Mesmer an elite spec with new mechanics like every other elite spec they are adding with PoF.
What, you mean they can’t just do a condi version of daredevil with half the stuff missing?
ONE OF US. ONE OF US. ONE OF US. ONE OF…
You’re on Blackgate, a tier 2(last I checked) server. They are focused on WvW, what do you expect?
Maybe don’t assume bad intentions over ignorance and neglect?
Either way he doesn’t explode my “bias against mes” meter.
The problem is that he’s become a “pillar of the community”. His core community believes what he says, so if he says that Mirage is OP and the fastest wildest spec in the eastern deserts, as fast as mounts, then people will believe that.
As to whether or not the devs take his opinion into question is completely conjecture on our part, but misrepresentation by ignorance and neglect is worse than no representation.
So we will never face the other dragons and get new zones…
We had an entire story, several zones and much more for just one dragon: Zhaitan.
When we’re going to face the other dragons I expect nothing less. But they can’t fit 3 or more zones, a huge line of quests and all the content that comes with it in Living Story, there is just no way. Living Story content is just too small, insignificant and (mostly) temporary..Why would it be impossible for the Living Story, but not for an expansion?
If they’ve got 4 teams, what’s to say that one of them teams aren’t working on a massive update they’ll be released in 6 months time?
People are too caught up on labels to see that LS and expansions are exactly the same thing; content updates.
And it’s better that they fail miserably with free content than with paid content.
Wow, you must show me this time travel device which you used to know the fractals that are to come out.
Also, the margonites are still humans during the Fall of Abbadon.
Yeah, I think all professions should get a unique system.
Here’s how this should work, I think:
Elementalists should get these attunements which let them swap their skill sets to different elements. These elements each have their own characteristics, like Water is more healing based, Fire is damage based, Air is mobility based, and Earth is slowing/tanking based.
Guardians should be able to burn things and help others with their skills. They should also have block and regen.
Warriors should get these gigantic attacks which you charge up by hitting things.
Engineers should have this toolbelt that lets them activate special attacks on things.
Ranger should get a pet that does cool damage and has its own skillbar while also getting boosts from your skill bar!
Necromancer should have this form that puts him closer to the Mists (and death) which will allow him to channel necrotic energies! He should charge this similar to warriors but instead of hitting things, how about when things die?
And Mesmers should have clones so that it’s confusing to find the real one. They can even explode the clones to have special effects!
Note: If you can click on the Holo, it’ll spawn Holographic mobs. If you can’t click on it, it’ll spawn Aetherblades.
AC -> Engineer
CM -> Engineer
TA -> Engineer
SF -> Engineer
CoF -> Engineer
HotW -> Engineer
CoE -> Engineer
Arah -> EngineerI might be a bit biased.
Nah, you just made them all… vulnerable.
I think you missed a comma. “I give up, rerolling mesmer” is not the same as “I give up rerolling mesmer” is not the same as “I give up rerolling, mesmer”.
Right click the item, if you can select “Unlock Skin”, do so now. If not, you most likely already have the skin.
Go to your Wardrobe and click on any backpiece. Select the skin you want (Holographic Shattered Dragon Wings, in this case) and hit Apply. It will cost 1 of the new charges.
If you don’t see the Wings in the list (on the left) you’re either not selecting a backpack or you need to unlock the skin (see first step).
Turn off auto attacks, this isn’t PvE. If you want to auto attack, press 1 manually.
It’s a video game…..
with virtual characters….
kids play this game….why does there need to be anything “sexy” in this game?? like what the hell?
Technically, only kids between the ages of 13-17 are allowed to play with express permission from a Parent/Guardian.
Can we just get smaller intervals, please? Heck, even if it was every 1/10, 1/4, or even 1/2 second, it would make it a lot more reliable…
Look, Adry, if the game bores you and you can’t deal with the endgame here, there are plenty of other games where they have the endgame that you want. Just please stop trying to force this game into those other games when they already exist. We don’t need MMO’s to all be carbon copies of each other.
Eh, i rather receive titles that give stats than combining random titles together. Titles would actually have a use if this happened.
They stated they won’t do this because they want players to be on equal standing fields at endgame.
He asked for a 2step verification or something similar. Even if the person hacking had his email, it’s usually done by bots and other programs to make it faster to go through their database of information. No reason to double check an email account just to try to get into an account because it has 2step (especially if it’s on the phone).
Also, Arenanet logs the IP where you’re logging in from, and that should be getting sent to your email in the 2step if you’re doing email 2step. (I highly recommend the phone one because you can check login IPs on your account page.)
Additionally, if a hacker has your phone, your password, and your email, you might be suffering from a multiple personality disorder (although since that person retains some of your memories/knowledge, it might be even more than that).
Mesmer is not easy to play, a point made in the GW2 guide.
That doesn’t mean that Arenanet should make it intentionally harder to play by “balancing” it and “giving it more build diversity” which actually translates to nerfing and reducing build diversity.
Yes, since release I have become a much better Mesmer player. It’s true. On the other hand, I do a lot less damage, even though I pay attention to a lot more, react much better, memorize animations, and play mind-games with opponents.
I’m…. not exactly sure what this has to do with GuildWars2…
It all reads very tangentially focused at best, and coincidentally looks completely based on “feel” and subjectiveness
like i said keep it thoughtful and meaningful, adding good vocabulary doesnt give your thoughts any meaning.
If you expect to be taken seriously, yes it absolutely gives your thoughts meaning.
no it doesnt, if you would have taken at least college writing you would understand that a bunch of sentences with good vocabulary isnt a meaningful one and its looked down upon. a lot of people mask their lack of thought with good vocab. dont expect me to sit here and give proper grammar and sentence structure, but at least u can see that what i say has thought and meaning into it. unlike….everything i been reading. could u guys stay on the subject please?
So you are saying that your professors allowed you to pass using things such as “b4”?
You had some extremely laid back professors then.
hmmmm is it possible that a lot of people with reading comprehension gathered to play GW2? plz dont mix one thing with another. like i said, i wont bother writing anything grammatically proper in a game forums lol……its silly. anyways, can we stay in the MAIN subject plz?
We could, if we could find it.
Trying to translate your OP, I’ll be back with it translated or on my shield.
Neither the Scepter nor Duelist traits have been fixed.
Wait whats wrong with the scepter trait? I havent really been using it…
How would you feel to pay 30k$ for what you think would be a luxury car only to find out you get a used honda? The effort in itself should justify an adequate reward. Hell ANY reward. This thing is a pink exotic…
A more appropriate analogy would be paying $30,000 and getting a car that functions the same as the car that was purchased for $5,000.
Wait, that can already happen? No way!
Tbh, I think if Mirage wants to be focused around Evades and “Mirage Cloak” there needs to be more “on-evade” or “on-dodge” traits. (Moreso on successful evasion).
Down the road means what, 5 years from now? 10 years from now?
I won’t be playing then.
The whole point is that we’ve already given Anet 2 years to release anything resembling expansion level content, and they haven’t.
2 years is a long time for an MMO not to release anything.
Especially today, when there are always new MMO’s just around the corner.
We’re already “down the road” right now – so where’s the new content?
They’ve released plenty of skins, plenty of festivals, 1 full Living Story and a second one which has improved based on feedback of the first one.
Note that the Living Story Part 1 is almost an entire expansions worth of content, minus the addition of a race, profession, and dungeons (although we did get more fractals and the Aetherblade path).
Actually, what should happen is to give every objective a WXP pool and then have all players who contribute to get a share of that pool.
The current way WvW works benefits zergs way too much.
Objectives are faster (more WXP) and give more points to your world upon completion (Yaks and sentries) by being completed with more people. If you have the manpower, you’re actually hurting your world by soloing things instead of running in a group of 10+.
Mesmers won’t be using Torment in TPvP.
Also, most of the changes won’t affect sPvP Mesmers. It basically makes non-Shatter builds less viable.
ahahahahaha!
IN YOUR FACE THAISEERAN. CRY MORE.
VOTE KIEL! A VOTE FOR KIEL IS A VOTE FOR PROGRESS!!
This is a bit over the top. I don’t expect everyone to go to the GW1Wiki just to get lore information.
Watch this, then, please:
Oooh a Mesmer. Well, I personally think that white isn’t your best choice for that outfit, assuming you’re looking for a peaceful look. I would try a beige-ish color. Mithril would probably be a good starting point and would give you more flexibility.
Level 80 exotic short bows. They give you the highest probable chance of getting it with the least amount of tosses into the Mystic Forge.
HOWEVER, it is not the cheapest method.
Pistol, mace, axe, shortbow, longbow, hammer
I really like how a.net implemented jumping with a vengeance.
I think it’s just pentup sexual tens- erm… Z-axis tension, unleashed with fury!
I just fill my bank with them so I have 250 of the one I use so I can put one on each of my chars and they won’t deposit without the hassle of getting an invisible bag on characters that don’t have that many items.
Level 0 Aquabreather.
It’s actually pretty fast leveling if you do it the “normal” way. Faster than before, ironically.
This is why I didn’t vote for Kiel.
If we had Evon on the council, he would have used his own wealth on fixing up LA. We would have had orichalchum-cobbled streets and houses constructed out of Ancient Planks and Bloodstone Bricks.
He would’ve bought the services of the hard working Skritt rather than depending on the unionized pirate shills currently slowly down construction efforts while increasing costs.
But nooooooo, people wanted waypoint costs to be cheaper for a few weeks. I bet y’all don’t even remember how much it was reduced by.
It was either 15 or 20%, although the people saying that the Black Lion Key price reduction being better are being too thickheaded to realize that it would have been a 25% sale for 4 weeks, which is also pretty useless.
Anyways, I think Anet is just being lazy on this one because the Zephyrites DID pay and also give us supplies to rebuild Lion’s Arch…
Sword 3 has an ICD before you can use Swap because reasons… :/
Why not buy $20 worth of Gems five times? Nets you the same amount.
If you exchange larger amounts you get a marginally better exchange rate at times.
Not when buying gems.
I want the “necro-effect” to stay on the staff. I don’t mind it at all
You don’t like it, have another staff, or don’t have a necromancer..
so you want your birdie to get impaled by blackness?
DAS WACIST, AWW YUU WACIST?
Like I said before, I think it looks nice. If they were to remove that, they’d probably have to add a Mesmer butterfly removal, but it would actually be a tad bit overpowered because all spells have some sort of noticeable cast animation/particle based on what spell it is and your profession.
It’s not just the slow projectile speed, it’s the slow cast time. It takes AGES to fly from your staff, then it slowly inches towards the opponent. Not only that, but it can get body blocked…
Personally, id love to have a 4 item toggable UI bar that could be used just for food, oils, etc…
Two would be plenty for me, but I agree with the principle.
Food, Nourishment, Mini-Pet, so I’d say 3.
When your looking at the map don’t run off a cliff.
Or if you do, make sure you’re a necromancer and use spectral walk to survive and watch all the sheep kill themselves.
Let’s just make an estimate
1 year to fix turret engineer while everybody was complaining about it
1 day to butcher mesmer’s chaotic dampening that nobody complained
… don’t hold your breath, next WvW year, your nerfed PU won’t allow you to escape engineer’s doomsday devices. But if by miracle you do, just shatter 4 stacks of torment to your enemy while he puts 30 stacks of burning on you
4 STACKS OF TORMENT? GG MESMERS ARE OP!
Using the number of new weapon skills as an argument makes actually no sense at all, since you are not losing your old weapons which are perfectly fine. In case of reaper, the GS is even entirely useless and might as well not exist.
It kind of does make sense, because you can only equip the weapon if you equip the elite spec.
Viable way of removing Blind, anyone?
Honestly, the only changes I disagree with are the double-tapping on Debilitating and the low duration of Might on PU.
Also we’d be fighting humans, not Margonites (although they could be humans called Margonites) as they were humans before he, Abbadon, was cast into the Realm of Torment (with them).
Heck, we could even be fighting the Margonites as they are destroying some of the statues of the other gods.
OR inversely, we could be the Margonites as we destroy the temples of the other gods.
I just don’t see why wells aren’t made in to glamour fields (preferably not just ethereal ones). This would add more utility to them, considering most people didn’t seem that happy with the way they functioned. A lot of good suggestions for wells were made after the first BWE but no notable changes were made.
All Wells are fields. The Healing one is a Light Field, the Elite one is a Dark Field, and the rest are Ethereal.
Now we have 3 Light Fields, [still] too many Ethereal Fields, and 1 Dark Field.
