ArenaNet, you can do better than this—we know that for sure.

Can they?

i mean, how are these events different than the scarlet attacks? or the corrupted traits? or ‘insert anything else’

i was hoping for more interesting content, like the one in the LS2, but this is much easier to produce and more in the vein of what the game has offered us so far.

after completing one of these events yesterday, i realised i have been playing an empty game for months now… and that the only reason to keep me going (the addition of raids) will be developed by the same people bringing us…. this….

i think i am taking a break….

You people seem to be under the false impression that discount sales are there so people can buy what they want/need at a cheaper price.

They are not.

Discount sales are there so people will spend their gems on stuff they would not normally buy. The purpose is to make you spend your gems, not to make you happy.

If you want a character slot or an armour skin you will end up paying full price. Why would anet give you a discount?

They just throw in a couple of good deals to get people hooked, and to increase the cost of gems so people spend real money, and then throw a bunch of crap at you, while you sit on your. Gems waiting for that discount that will never come.

PVP basic game design: TTK (time to kill).

Now my complain is that in GW2 the TTK is off by so much it is laughably bad, meta builds will completely and utterly destroy full dps builds (as an example).
Only VERY few build setups is valid and you can EASILY make builds, which is 100% impossible to win with (which completely proofs that the TTK of skills/classes haven’t been done correctly).

You seem to ignore that:

- MOBAS, which are the pvp flavor of the moment, have completely different ttk for each hero from the start of the game and it keeps changing during all the game.

- PVP in this game is a 5vs5 man thing. Your glass cannon can get his kitten handed to him in a 1on1, but in a team fight it can burst down even the tankiest builds. (sometimes i get wrecked with my ele in 1 second, if the enemy team knows how to pull it out)

- Of course there will be builds that are crap. If you take traits that don’t synergize at all, it is the equivalent of not performing perfectly, not dodgning, not healing, not cleaning condis. You cannot be blaming the devs for the possibility to make a bad build.

I think a recount (dps meter) would be a bad addition to GW2. But solely for the fact that 95% of the people have no clue how to interpret them in a non-trinity setting. They see the phalanx warrior doing 70% of the DPS of the others and don’t see past the fact that he’s using a sub optimal dps spec to buff the whole party for more overall damage.

Well, it would at least do justice by good players. RIght now, no matter how good you are, you receive hate for playing an underrated class.

But the problem in GW2 is, that people are still drawing the same conclusions. But instead of reading (and often misinterpreting) damage meters; people now base their opinions on “gutfeeling”, hearsay about “meta” and sites which proclaim which composition is optimal for their run.
Badly played elementalists are guaranteed spots even though they might be horrible; and well played necromancers are dismissed before even seeing combat.

this is why i think we need recount. So people won’t discriminate based on something they heard or read, and so people don’t think this game can be mastered by just having the meta build. Many people have to realize they suck. Me too, probably, but i cannot say for certain since there’s no practical way for me to know for sure!

Where exactly is this exploit being used that you consider it the only thing holding necros back from being generally accepted as meta? Since you know, you’d have to compare the non-icebow dps of every other class to necros before deciding whether or not it was the best choice for the available dps slots.

Actually, the only thing that has put us in this stupid discriminating situation, is not the lack of offensive buffs, or the not so good dps, nor the linecasting icebow.

It’s the lack of a damage recount tool.

In all my years in wow i never saw such discrimination against a class. Why? because you had Recount to separate the real damage dealers vs the rest.

That kind of tool would be death for any in class in this game that wasn’t #1 because lacking trinity. The actual problem is WoW-type players who think that’s how performance is measured.

the actual problem cannot have anything to do with a tool that doesn’t exist in the game, nor with players of a game that never discriminated any profession.

And if a player cannot see why a ps warrior is wanted in the party, even though he doesn’t output top dps, then i probably want to know who that player is, so i can kick him out of the fractal group (i would keep the guy for dungeons, as dungeons are silly, but fractals is another thing)

In all my years in wow i never saw such discrimination against a class. Why? because you had Recount to separate the real damage dealers vs the rest. I could bring a warlock and outdamage all the damage dealers because my build and gear were optimised for each fight, even though warlocks were not the top dps class at the time. But even the trashier classes never received any hate for being lower in the dps chain. As long as they did decent damage, people were ok with anyone.

This game’s pve is laughable and light years behind wow in difficulty. Dungeons are completed in under 10 minutes. Any class can be brought to any dungeon and do fine.

But people think that because class x is marginally better, then class Y is trash while, in real life, class y probably deals more damage.

I’ve seen meta groups in high level fractals, ranging all the bosses. Warriors using their rifles, guardians and their scepters against small hitbox bosses, you name it.

I am pretty sure an axe necro or a hybrid necro does more damage in the same situation. But these metazerk wannabes cannot be bothered to find out. A damage recount tool would prove that their metazerk build is being used in a very unproductive way, and that the trash necro can outdamage them because he is actually built for what he is doing.

A recount tool would also discredit anyone doing some poor theorycrafting, of course. The only downside would be the lack of a precise way to measure the contribution to party dps via buffs.

I think most people these days know who this guy is and would rather laugh at his videos or ignore him altogether because it’s just too much cringe to handle.

In the end it’s just another insane efficiency-hater with the most myopic viewpoint imaginable, looking for any and every reason to mock everybody that doesn’t wanna play with less effective setups in PvE. The only difference between him and others is because he makes videos and has thousands of subscribers, he has the power to actually trick people into believing what he says.

It’s sad really.

hahahahahaha… are you serious?? Did you even watch the video and you didn’t even understand the point, watch the video… Now he has proof and you just begin to claim it was a lie even if you havn’t seen it… Do the math yourself, he had 3k more dps than a Brazil’s Warrior and he have played for Warrior for 2 years which was a perfect rotation and premade group and 100% dps uptime. If you should rant on somebody, you should rant on Nike or Brazil for not making a build that can get over 14k dps…

Not even the peope in the necro forum believe what he says.

He can get high dps in a very short fight. Good for him. He does it because the boss gets obliterated with linecasting and he spends most. Of the time in lich form.

His dps is around 8k without linecasting icebows. That’s the sustained, fully buffed, necro dps. And the necro does nothing to boost party dps, as opposed to the warrior.

I am tired of this kitten. We need a place like elitist jerks, that do some real math so this peope stop trolling once and for all.

You guessed wrong, seems you made a build between ultimate hybrid 3.0 and the glass cannon 3.0 (Nosferatu) but you’re not even close at fullfilling one of the builds or both :> There’s a trick to both

the glass cannon build seems like

spite 132 to boost axe and focus damage. Also 5% increase against foes with no boons is nice.
blood 331 pretty obvious seeing the buffs he gets during combat and the utilities he uses (actually, not the first trait… )
soul reaping 322 (or 122 depending on the fight). since he has awful autoattacks from the weapons, he needs to recharge his DS as fast as possible to keep the damage up, and then vital persistence and deathly perception seem mandatory if you are doing any damage with DS.

Also, in a scenario like this, and admiting he doesnt use dagger (he did the same with his old hybrid build, stating that you cannot always melee, which is not true… i used to melee even when playing scepter, to make things more fun) he would carry staff as second weapon, to boost his DS and Lich damage. Gear would be all zerker. Runes whatever (i would go with scholar) and damage modifiers for sigils.

What is going on? Why is GW2 so boring?

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: Aenesthesia.1697

Aenesthesia.1697

Boring? Not for me. Oh – just level 9 and making judgments lol.

It’s not hard, but surely not boring. You’ve seen almost nothing at level 9. To be fair you should play at least to level 71 to play fully traited, better yet to 80.

So, how many hours do you have to play before the game gets interesting? 20? 30? 40? Asking anybody to invest so much in a game they don’t find fun, is asking them to waste their time.

This game’s open world pve is mind numbingly easy. To the point that the first dungeon looks like a great challenge.

Other games scale in difficulty fairly quickly, so you don’t completely suck when you enter the first dungeon. Not the case with GW2.

And people who suck because all they do is autoattack think the better parts of the game are “too hard”.

On top of that, most skills are situational, and not really needed in pve (or sometimes completely unwanted). This makes pve more of a thing of positioning, dodging, and autoattacking.

PvP is the game mode that provides the situations in which most skills have a use, and the only really challenging stuff, excepting a few oddballs (Liadri, Arah, some of the achievements of LS season 2, high level fractals (39 is particularly fun))

There’s not a single pvp’er I know in this world that actually cares about these points.
I also think that rewarding players for every fart is not a good habit.

I don’t think it’s as much about the reward itself as it is about giving people personal gain incentive (the best incentive in mmos) to ready up with they’re ready.

I think if thats your goal, then it will possibly fail because there are tons of players like me who wouldn’t care about these points. And are most likely listening to music, doing other stuff while gw2 is minimized.

So I think a better suggestion would be to put the “Ready Up” button in a better spot. Or to make it larger. Or even have the guy screaming: “Your Lord is under attack!”, shout: “Are you ready bois?!”.

That would make me press that button

EDIT: use ROM’s voice

Anybody else getting bored of open world PvE now?

I try to continue to do the meta events, but most of them are just AA fest,,, with a few good meta events, but with long cooldowns, and require team coordination and population, which some reason the game still doesnt have a good server merge feature yet, even with Megaservers.

I cant wait to play HoT again. To get new places to play in, with new meta events that will be different and harder on a low population maps in a balanced way. Also gliding was lots of fun.

But I really want something different for world PvE. Elite Specs should add to the fun element in PvE. Plan to play classes I dont normally play, using their elite specs.

but the PvE content itself, Improve overall from the vanilla world PvE.

Think I may do some PvP or something. WvW is also dead on my server.

you mean you’ve been farming the same no risk content for 3 years now, and you are getting bored just NOW?

Man….

But yeah, do some spvp, once you get used to being beaten to a pulp, it starts getting fun.

Aenesthesia.1697

1st Question: What’s your opinion on the whole Ascalon discussion?

Ascalonians have every right to be kittened of. And every non char, in general, has every reason to be worried about the Charr society and their ways of achieving their goals. They are ruthless, they are militaristic, they use force first, they go out of any reasonable way to get what they want, and they have been building the death star while everyone looks somewhere else.

2nd Question: How do you think do these discussion become this bizarre almost-roleplay where people take the whole discussion so seriously?

This is a role playing game. People tend to forget that, but that’s what it is at its heart. When i am playing an ascalonian who grew up in Ebonhawk, being constantly threatened by the Charr, knowing your grandparents were slaughtered in the searing and all their friends decimated, when you live night and day waiting for the big bad cat to come and eat you, you don’t take it lightly when someone who is not your queen decrees that now you are at peace with the monsters, that you will no longer fight them out of your grandparent’s lands, and that you have to fight alonside them… how are you not going to take it seriously?

You can of course follow the other route: this is not a rpg game, but a grinding/farming machine and we are all mindless drones flying from target to target. If that’s how you like to play rpgs it’s fine, but that’s switching off your brain, and the human brain is the most powerful machine for generating fun. It’s like reading a book from a totally detached perspective. You will finish it, but you will be far away from really enjoing it.

i tried it after the patch and didnt like it. Still, i keep playing it to see if i get the hang of it.

1on1: ok, burn guards suicide against me, and i can finally outlast those pesky celes IF they don’t get help, which they will because i do less damage than with power necro. Thieves are now unkillable (decent ones, of course) as i lack the burst and they disengage. Same with mesmers, since my aoe is much worse than with power necro.

Team fights: i can call the shots by debuffing people and once i get the 25 stacks of might going i feel like i do some damage. i can take some damage, too, and i can stomp non mobile professions thanks to plague (for when i really need to stomp)

Holding a point: i used to run if i saw 2 guys coming at me. No i can call for help and hold my own for a bit while also dealing some damage (with the condi build i could also take some damage, but my pressure was too low). That’s an improvement.

So we have become a jack of many trades. We have good condition management, good attrition capabilities, and we hard counter some awful builds. I wouldn’t say we hardcounter celes because they still take too long to kill.

All in all, we are in a position where we don’t get clearly outclassed in everything we do, so we could have a place in the meta.

If Burn is OP...

It have a high skill cap and I’m unable to kill a necro (why he re-transfer back to me all my burn and convert all my boons) and mesmers why they burst me down why I have no toughness or why I’0m not able to hit them with my skills that inflict burn. I can try to inflict aoe burn hitting the clones, but it don’t work against good mesmers.

^this is the reason.

I play a signet necro and pray for a condi guard to show up… but few do. I guess being squishy and totally hard countered by fairly common professions (necros, mesmers, elementalists) isn’t everyone’s cup of tea.

Same reason i don’t play a condi necro, btw. I tried, run into an elementalist that cleansed my conditions faster than i could apply them, and decided i can’t just run around in a build that is completely useless depending on which foe you run into.

I rarely grind and I dislike grinding. I have never fealt forced to grind in this game to enjoy every part of it, even all fractals levels can be enjoyed without grinding. Some people grind becouse they want stuff now now now now now but most stuff you can get by just playing every part of the game and some day you got what you want,

Yes, some day you will get what you want. Ironically, it will take much, much longer than what it would take for one of those games that “suck your life” to give you everything you want and more.

And i really mean it. I used to raid in WOW, and it would take me less than a month to get a full epic set from a raid, and i would get it actually playing the raid.

In GW2? i had to grind for gold to pay for the infusions that would allow me to play fractal 50, and i was completely gated out of fractal 50 while not having the gear to beat it. Wow doesn’t gate you out of the raid, and you can absolutely beat the current content wearing the gear from the previous content.

And regarding the legendaries, it would take like 2 months of normal play for a raider to get the legendary, which was really legendary, as you couldn’t buy it off the tp, and it required you to complete some really hard quests and the help of a team of 10 people. Here? i’ve been playing for 3 years and the only reason i am any closer to getting one, is because i have farmed more in the past 5 months than in 3 years playing WOW.

I’m not sure splitting between pve and pvp would work, since they seem to be getting further and further way from that model.

So something like:
When an ally is under 75% HP -> + 10% damage; under 50% HP -> +15% damage; under 25% HP -> +20% damage?
I’ll update the OP

that wouldn’t be welcome. Most professions wear scholar runes and try by all means to keep their health above 90%, what would they get then?

I wanted something like this for the signet of vampirism: tweak it so it would mean a net improvement to party damage of 20%-30% for the seconds it’s active. It wasn’t even a 7% increase average, but very useful for burn stages.

But then people who think everything with the necro is ok jumped in and said that they love signet of vampirism the way it is (facepalm)

Part of the problem is that people took the manifesto, and other comments, out of context and read them as, and I’m going to paraphrase this, “the word of god from the mouth of god.” A very good example is just how much people improperly assumed things regarding a precursor “scavenger hunt” and basically would riot every time a patch came out with no info.

“Because, like Guild Wars before it, GW2 doesn’t fall into the traps of traditional MMORPGs. It doesn’t suck your life away and force you onto a grinding treadmill; it doesn’t make you spend hours preparing to have fun rather than just having fun(…)”

how is this possibly taking things out of context? it says what it says. You can argue that the context was anet trying to sell us the game, so they are hyping the product as much as possible, deviating from the real game as much as possible, but they still said what they said and they fed us so much BS before the game was launched, that their credibility is zero at this time.

I guess that the context you refer to is: “they are a company trying to sell the game so of course everything they say will be a lie”

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

From the start, shouts were utilities that non casters could use, that gave a similar effect to a spell. They were also instant, as shouts are not casted, but shouted or whatever.

Now they are giving shouts to scholar professions. At first, it doesn’t make sense, unless of course they are instant cast. Elementalists do get instant shouts, or so it seems, but necros get shouts… with a cast time? What’s the point? how are they different than other necro spells? well, they are different from corruptions, in the way at least you don’t get kittened for using a shout, nor can you trait it to get extra kittened if you use it.

But going back to basics, what’s the point of shouts on scholar professions?

1. who cares? crafting is boring and unprofitable.
2. why do you even need 3 maces?
3. This game doesn’t have gear progression. The only progression comes from players learning to play better. Playing better means using the most risky builds (which in turn output the higher damage) succesfully. If you play ranged, you are definitely not using the most risky build.
4. I guess you can live with it? the ah use is forced so you dump 15% of your earnings there.
5. i don’t know how other games adress this. Most don’t even have world bosses.

Turning the table around, i don’t understand how other games don’t give you the option to send the loot directly to the bank, or why you are forced to spend hours travelling from A to B, or why there isn’t even a preview option for the gear, or why i can only use one weapon at a time, or why i cannot get credit or loot from a boss i helped to kill, etc etc etc

PS. the suggestions aren’t based on just me and my thief playstyle, they are based on the general consensus, that defense in this game is just a mechanic, that is currently since game release absolutely not effective and weak

General consensus? So the general consensus is that dodge (which negates 100% of te damage) is weak? What about stealth? Is it a weak defense mechanism? And blocks, invulnerability, illusions, minions, necro ds, ele regen and condi clean, warrior condi clean, etc etc are all poor defense mechanisms?

You talk about stats here and stats here, and it’s prety obvious to me you want to turn players into health bags and encourage passive defense, while his game is obviously balanced for active defense.

Do you know how much i suffer from the new burning pvp op guardians? Zero, because i specced to transfer their condis back instead of crying for more health.

You dont need to compare.

Just grind for the sinister gear, go to any dungeon and load ine mob with bleeds till you have enough to pop epidemy and watch all the dots pop….

Except you won’t, because by the time you cast epidemic, all the mobs are already dead.

…but that already exists, and every class has it. It’s called the Hero Panel. There is literally nothing stopping Elementalists or Engineers from switching weapons out of combat.

The OP’s request is redundant bordering on nonsensical.

I guess you dont play elementalist or engineer.

Both have the ability to stack 25 might before fights, doing a weapon swap. Being able to do it ooc means you dont have to open your inventory or hero panel. To change your equiped weapon, which greatly improves qol.

In combat it would be exactly like it should stay: no weapon swap.

my problem with aoes is that the circle is usually smaller than the actual aoe, and you eat kitten even if standing outside the circles. This, and not the color, should be given top priority for a fix.

Personally i don’t like him because (summed up):
- Some of the most terrible voice acting i’ve heard in any game. Even picachiew has more depth and feeling then him.
- He quite literally takes credit for everything you do.

Can you give me a single example of where he “takes credit” for anything you’ve done? I ask because looking at the actual dialogue, usually he’s going out of his way to build you up, not knock you down.

many people complained that he took the center spot during the personal story. Anet interpreted that the player base was composed of spoiled brats wanting praise 24/7 and over reacted filling the ls2 dialogues with stupid flatery to the point it really gets annoying.

as for trehearne, i think there’s some npcs far more irritating.

Eles have been op for as long as i can remember. An ele can give its party might, fury, 25 stacks of vuln on the enemy, insane personal damage and terrific group damage support via icebow (fgs before the nerf). That, talking only pve.

For pvp you are the meta with your celestial and boon stacking. You can also clean conditions like its nothing so the new condiburst @holes dont even scratch you.

Meanwhile, mesmers have been lacking in pve for sometime now, and in pvp they were always a pain in the back which just got worse thanks to anets stupid love for skills with no counterplay, but it will be nerfed. I mean, no one likes fighting a guy who is not really trying to fight you, but trolling you all the same.

Short term memory then. Ele have been at trash tier, at the very bottom in pvp since dhuumfire patch to april feature pack. And it hasn’t been used in pve for over a year since the game had launched.

Also, people wanted a sword because it would most likely bring more bursty spec. So please, arguing that it’s already OP is rather moot. Not everyone is fond of the current way of playing an ele.

Before people figured how to survive with an ele, eles were not used, ok, but it was a problem with the players, not the profession. You would see groups of 5 warriors. People didnt even blast fire fields, etc etc. Dont blame the class. Right now, eles are meta in all the game modes, that should tell you something.

And what are you talking about bursty spec? Try scepter with icebow and electric storm, if you dont melt everything in your path it’s because you cast everything in the wrong place…

Anyone else feels Eles are in good place now?

I mean were in a strong place as long as you run celest and water/arcane so yeah. if you call that extream lack of build diversity a “good place”, being where we were since beta, then yeah were doing GREAT!

That’s being a bit unfair. Eles ability to apply burning and deal direct damage favors a hybrid build, and its ability to stack might means it can deal serious damage even with defensive stats. So yeah, you can have a durable high damaging, killing machine. You dont like that? Opt for more direct damage and berserker stats. If you manage to survive, you will wreak havoc, its what other classes with worse access to might have to do anyway…..

well , gj at kittening it up anet , cant belive we get such a useless piece of kitten , majority of ppl i talked to wanted the sword so bad and new we get that junk

and not to mention that fantasy wise it would make more sense that an ele can create a sword from fire or lighting to fight and a kittening warhorn belongs to the warriors , who the kitten thinks of a warhorn when you talk about elementalists

i was looking so much forward to the new weapon and new we get that junk , im incredible dissapointed and i think you have made a huge mistake anet

i simply lost any to motivation to play ele at all, guess i will spend my time on thief/mes from now on

Oh, you already know what weapon skills and utility skills the Tempest Specialisation will get? Please share us your inside knowledge!

its a kittening warhorn , useless piece of kitten , no matter the skills the sowrd would always be better

You dont know if you are not going to get an utility that conjures a sword for you to use with your warhorn…and i very much doubt you are going to abandon your overpowered facemelting elementalist to play anything else….. Specially mesmers who get a whooping…. Shield

hmm lets stack this up

Mesmer v Elementalist… this mans saying Ele is the OP one?.. sorry incorrect, Mesmer is, point proven by 99% of players and even mesmers admitting to it… PU is Ridiculous the power creeps ridiculous and possibly one of the best ways of keeping 25 stacks of might on urself and 25 stacks of vun on ur enemy almost instantly..

Not to mention the abilities with that shield could destroy a enemy team in seconds providing u learn to use it, dont act as if eles the one whos OP When ur talking mesmer buddy, we all know who needs nerfing.

Mesmers are op since the last patch.

Players I run into:
1. High deeps players who don’t die and could solo the dungeon.
2. High deeps players who don’t die but can’t solo the dungeon.
3. High deeps players who die all the time unless everyone is playing max deeps.
4. Mid deeps players who don’t die and could solo the dungeon.
5. Mid deeps players who don’t die but can’t solo dungeon.
6. Mid deeps players who die all the time unless the boss dies fast.
7. Low deeps players who don’t die and could solo the dungeon.
8. Low deeps players who don’t die and couldn’t solo the dungeon.
9. Low deeps player who die all the time and are basically a drain to the party.

Meta bullies are almost exclusively #3. They are noobs, but pretend they aren’t cause they have zerker gear. 1s and 2s are the kind of people willing to carry 6s, 8s, and 9s. I met someone who normally solos arah but was puging because that is more of a challenge. He was a bit elitist and meta, but he was still fun to play with because he wasn’t shouting at people.

More and more people are falling into the #1 category which makes puging very pleasant.

My war is full Zoja’s, but I don’t like the zerker meta, so I use her to climb fractals. Easy content like dungeons, I’ll bring my 4s, (odd thing to censor?) 5s, and 8s.

That is so unfair.

A meta ele, for example, HAS to be number 3. Eles are sitting ducks while channeling their devastating attacks, which they have to cast while still having 25 stacks of might. If the boss isnt dead by the end of the cast, chances are it already killed the other ele, or you. You can play it safe, time your casts and be conservative, but then you wont do top damage and most likely the boss will be dead by the time you even olace vulnerability on him

I don’t agree with that 100%. Yes ellys can’t soak damage. If the group is stacking and others aren’t providing blinds, it’s up to you to use Sandstorm or Arcane Shield to get off a Meteor Shower; you must be self sustaining. This means you have to swap out Arcane Blast.

Self sustaining? For solo, of course. Being self sustaining in a group beats te purpose of being in a group.

Mark of Evasion

with signet of the locust you have the extra speed, and you can tag all the elementals when you convert two groups at once (at the cost of not having the speed buff for some time).

and you can’t possibly throw and tag mobs using just one utility. You need at least 2 and definitely it’s not wells, as even traite,d they don’t recharge as fast as necessary.

i used to use well of suffering, then well of corruption, then staff #2, then mark of evasion, then rinse and repeat. Sometimes it wasn’t even enough and i had to use the mark of evasion more often. how can you replace that with just one utility?

OP

gavyne pretty much nailed it.

If you are using wells, you are not the front line. You don’t need toughness and vitality, you need precision and ferocity, and to enjoy being part of the wvw meta.

If you are roaming, wells are not the best tool, as they are easily dodgeable. Signets, conditions, and minions work much better, but you would have to choose curses or spite. As a power necro, soldier’s might still be useable (you loose a lot of damage), but for condi you really need condi damage, unless you plan on killing your enemy with their own conditions (works miracles in spvp, don’t know if in wvw people use glasscannon condi builds for roaming).

As for your build, it’s a little weird.

Why would you use the scepter, when you have little to no condition damage? Scepter is underwhelming even in full condi builds…. I think axe or dagger would better suit your style, giving you some burst for when you need it, you do have power as your main stat….

I think they are actually trying to fix the class, but their baby steps approach just doesn´t work out very well if you ask me. I really wish they´d man up a bit and go for more radical changes, be a bit more eager to try out new and bold things.

I think they are afraid of making the class too op. Meanwhile, the developers that take care of other classes, don’t even care about their class being op. That’s how you have elementalists and warriors on one side, and necros in the complete oposite side in terms of balance.
