First you have three basic presets with minor variations repeated throughout, they all look roughly the same (“male model” look). Not terrible, but pretty much everyone uses them, so everyone looks the same.
Then you have the only Asian face which after an hour of tinkering STILL looks like a post-op F->M no matter what you do. The other face that looks somewhat Asian has no apparent eye sockets whatsoever, the eyes look painted on and weird.
Then you have two “regular guy” faces, one of which is used by almost every single NPC in the game (you know the one, the slightly older face with smaller eyes) and the other has glitchy eyes which go just enough outside of the sockets to annoy you.
There is exactly ONE face from the TMK that is sort of decent, but I use it on my only regular Human character already.
How is it even possible to have these diverse and detailed faces for nearly every other race, but fail so hard at creating your basic human face?
My kits stay equipped after harvesting unless I use some sort of gathering booster.
Is there some good gaming rationale for some exotics being account bound and some not that I’m missing?
HoT stats are part of the “HoT package”, that’s why they’re not tradeable. If somebody wants these stat combinations, they have to buy the expansion.
I also didn’t have any issues on either of my two playthroughs, but it’s always nice that bugs are being looked into.
Not Accessories. Rings yea. Also got the vigil amulet. But not Accessories.
Wrong.

Yep, now you can have full Zealot’s if you have HoT.
Meanwhile, we still don’t have Captain’s weapons or armor. I can’t imagine this combination being OP, so who knows what’s going on with that… I say give it Seraph’s style treatment in one of the upcoming LS episodes. That way you won’t even have to create a “gem” for it.
Yeah, I’d love a “disable backpack” feature. Wings-B-Gone.

It needs to be big because you are inside of it.
and yet armor is still clipping through and ruins immersion
It is a spirit, it’s incorporeal. Everything should clip through it without ruining immersion for once.
They grew humanoid upper halves and a lot of attitude.
Eh, I don’t like that set in general, what with that cloth flapping and clipping through everything. But it does look kinda nice otherwise. T2 looks like every generic overblown fantasy crap armor, so I prefer T1. It’s simple and utilitarian, without any flashiness. Perfect!
^ Yeah, this guy.
I liked it. Almost nothing I use was nerfed, and the guy going around yelling about Chrono being invalidated has been a source of much amusement.
I’ve been doing AB meta every day for the last week, and I genuinely didn’t notice any significant drop in numbers. Then again, I always LFG (and never multilooted).
I’d invest it.
/15 BLTC-running charrs

(inb4 somebody comes along and explains how it’s the best thing ever)
I do AB every day (for the Auric collection, never done ML on purpose), and it is still the most active HoT meta by some margin.
Sadly, we probably will. To Anet’s credit, they resisted this tacky nonsense for an unbelievably long time.
Ditto, please fix it.
Yes, currently I don’t get skills (and corresponding achievement progress) from beating masters. Just when I finally decide to make progress on this activity, it’s broken.
but I love the male human voice. it fits my character a lot
No one is asking for it to be replaced. It does indeed suit my mesmer, for example… but not my warrior. And to be honest, it’s the most… schizophrenic voice of them all. Nothing like somber low-pitch HoT dialogue interrupted by jovial “EAT MY DUST”.
Suggested many times before, won’t happen because of very large costs involved.
I’d love to have several voice options as well (especially for human male), but I completely understand why it’s not feasible.
Sure, I get the first one, but the second … the third … fourth, all repeatedly failures and it becomes a real irritation when you have to go back and keep re-doing the nightmare-ish points all over again … over and over and over again.
You. don’t. have. to.
This is optional content for those who like challenging JPs. You’re obviously not one of those people. This is as silly as whining about raids being too hard. Don’t do it. And you know why? Because…
You.
Don’t.
Have.
To.
I didn’t see how the stat combo was supposed to tie in with the Seraph or Logan Thakeray.
The stat combo is rather terrible. Logan is rather terrible. There’s your connection.
It’s a Seraph/Thackeray set, it would just be ridiculous for it to be any good.
Now I have this image in my head of the entire country of Hungary being thrown into economic turmoil because of rising ecto prices.
Yeah, this is the most annoying fight in the game by far, mostly because of the tiny room and the world-famous GW2 camera.
An extra day of Lunar New Year is your consolation.
No, it’s the best. Thank you.

I just randomly stopped to clear out my inventory and heard the first exchange that made me laugh out loud.
ANet abandoned underwater content in general, so that’s not a Revenant-specific issue. Besides, ele also has only one underwater weapon.
There are only 3 utilities per legend because you have access to twice the number of heals/utilities/elites at any given time, so that also doesn’t have anything to do with Rev being “unfinished”.
A whole bunch of Rev weapon skills have very short cooldowns that would be considered way OP without the energy cost.
Revenant is clunky and doesn’t seem to have any sort of defining philosophy, but I don’t consider it “unfinished”. It is, however, rather half-baked.
Are you volunteering for the first infraction?
If it means that my suggestion has been implemented, then yes, of course. It’s not like an infraction means much other than drawing the poster’s attention to the problem.
^^ I think that was part of the OP’s point.
Yes, very much so.
Make it an infractable offense to use blatantly clickbait and non-descriptive thread titles on these forums. People’s time is too valuable to waste on dozens of “What if Anet…” and “My awesome suggestion is…” threads.
Yeah, don’t make us use our heads ever again, Anet. You’re wasting our time.
They won’t, so don’t.
the quaggan lacks every sign of evolutionary advantage, and apparantly it’s abaility to go feral is it’s only redeeming trait to survive as a species.. which is offset by the fact that quaggans don’t wanna breed with feral quaggans… which leaves me with the question.. how has this species survived until now.. the walking blobs of bait for nature
By having no natural predators until the krait arrived. Same as the dodo, the kakapo and a whole bunch of other real species, both extinct and currently surviving only by being protected by humans. Believe it or not, quaggans make perfect sense.
A dev threw away a scribble of a 3 year old girl who didnt know how the world worked, then a spanish cleaning lady found it and accidentally put it on the approved races pile
What do you mean? Quaggans are more or less an accurate depiction of a species becoming endangered due to biocenosis shift caused by emergence of a new predator. They’re pretty much a fantasy take on Steller’s sea cow before it went extinct.

I main a Sylvari, and my two most-used alts are Asura and Norn.
So… yeah, if I’m paid well?
Also the thingy that shows where the events are (event tracker i guess?) is showing events where there aren’t any and chasing events over the specific map is not fun.
There are events there. You have to stand on that spot and use the Rift Stabilizer to make a rift appear. Stabilize it and that’s +1 completed event.
https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Class_I_Rift_Stabilizer
The only exception to that is Divinity’s Reach. There are phantom events there that you can’t do.

Haven’t they included it in the list of Pact Network Agents’ recipes? If not, they really should.
how ever the airing of grievances can commence!
It’s Festivus all year round here.
And it would free up those shared inventory slots for players that have multiple teleport items
Yep, that’s my problem with multiple port items currently hogging half of my shared slots.
If either of the two pillars:
a. weight restrictions, and
b. lack of revealing heavy armor
falls, we’ll go from running with hordes of mostly strippers to hordes of pretty much exclusively strippers. That’s pretty much the only thing that keeps me from supporting either of those ideas. Nothing wrong with some skin, I’m not a prude, but it’s all a bit too much even right now. Whenever I’m zerging with people, I feel like I’ve been recruited in a turf war between rival brothels. I can almost smell the cheap perfume!
No this is a continuation of Anets disrespect for the people who play their game. It’s just more apparent now. Their contempt for the people who pay their wages grows exponentially.
I don’t normally call out people like this, but I looked at your post history and it’s over three years of literally nothing but complaints and dissatisfaction. You don’t have to play this game. You really don’t. Why subject yourself to something you find so deeply unsatisfying on every level… for over three years?
(edited by Ariurotl.3718)
Quaggans aren’t mammals, i saved way to many quaggan eggs to believe they are mammals!
I always assumed they were oviparous mammals like the platypus, but yeah, good point.
(edited by Ariurotl.3718)
Just for the fun of it (and ignoring the fact that they’re just colored like orcas), from a biological perspective most fish and other marine animals who live in the upper part of the body of water have the upper half of their bodies dark-colored, and the lower half – light-colored or white. That is something they have evolved in order to hide from predators. When a predator (such as a fishing bird) looks down on the fish, it’s difficult to spot because the upper half is dark like the water. When a predator looks up on the same fish during the day, it’s also difficult to spot because the bottom half is light-colored amid the sunlight illuminating the water.
We know that regular quaggans used to live deep in the water until krait displaced them (let’s just ignore the fact that they appear to be mammals and mammals can’t breathe in water like fish), then judging by the coloration we can theorize that Bitterfrost quaggans live in shallow waters, and therefore possess the coloration that makes them more difficult to spot.
^ It’s not the piles, it’s the minions that give it the buff. Once they’re all gone, the buff disappears.
Too many items clogging the inventory is a definite con. Also, after Rising Flames I was hopeful that you’d once again allow us to complete only some of the achievements of our choice in order to get the big meta-achievement. Instead we’re back to “complete them all” system. I’m sure some power players would prefer it that way, but I don’t.
I didn’t think Braham could get any more annoying with his cringeworthy mommy issues throughout LS2… He proved me wrong. Just wow.
