Idk, don’t you have professions that you find more fun to play than others? Delete the one which is less fun. Since which is more fun is really personal, Im not sure others can really help you on this, other than basing their recommendations on which ones they find most fun.
It is probably Dry Top as Tamias said. The old Henge of Denravi is next to it in Brisbane.
If you take him to the LA events and get found belongings you can buy Tomes of Knowledge for 100 Found Belongings and 30 silver, worth one level from a vender. A guildie bought 12 levels for an alt doing this.
If you don’t want to spend that much, running him through the events for the exp might be worth looking at.
Temple armor for karma is “free” but you need a fair amount of karma.
Also he is the the PvP area.
They banned/suspended a number of people so I would say yes.
Idk. He lost 5 gold out of an initial amount of 14 gold. Usually someone who only has 14 gold KNOWS if he bought an item that is 35% of his wealth. Even if he bought something and then forgot, he says he checked the TP transactions. And 5 gold is not normally something that a person with 14 gold is going to lose through volume transaction fees, wp costs and repairs.

I just went to one of the spots where he was supposed to be (the Trading Post) and stayed there until he showed up.
It just tells the person who posted and those who read it that these posts were liked by someone.
If you go to the top of the page where it says forum profile, click on that then click on view highly rated posts by Vegetation.6419, it will show you your posts up voted by others.
You will have to contact support for an answer to that. Top of page -support, then top of page -submit a request.

She undoubtably looked at the ticket and sent it off to be handled internally if she found anything wrong but since you said you were closing your account and leaving the game there is no reason for her to post any further response. No point in posting to reply to someone who is gone and no longer reading the forum or has an continuing interest in the results.

I suggest you read this thread, here with advice for new players . It’s old but still good.
They do make mistakes and they don’t admit to them. Like Inculpatus, I received a permanent ban for gold selling because 3 of us guildies loaned each other money to get the Golden title. They reinstated my account the next day after I made a ticket but never admitted that they made a mistake.
So, it’s best just to take the reinstatement and go on.
To be fair the fact that they removed the permanent ban is basically the exact same thing as admitting they made a mistake.
I don’t know about you, but I was taught when I messed up I actually had to tell the other person “sorry, I made a mistake”. Fixing the mistake but saying nothing is weak sauce. It fixes the mistake while admitting nothing and offering nothing after accusing someone of breaking the rules and punishing them.

I have 9 level 80s and 8 of them are using a vanity backpiece, the 9th is now a mule and holds my extras. I’m not even sure what she is storing now. The green Quaggan one and a Windcatcher one for sure. I have recipes for the dwayna one and the new Spinal one. And this is just the beginning I’m sure, of what I’ll get and stash away. I would love to have a wardrobe or equivalent so I can actually use the rewards I’m getting instead of letting them collect virtual dust.

Your doing fine. Leveling can be pretty fast if you do a bunch of events. It will take a long time before you are able to make good money. Low levels make only a few copper per event, but your costs are lower compared to gear, repairs and waypointing for higher levels. As for gear, when I was leveling I only got new gear every 10 levels and even then that wasn’t really necessary.
Gear you don’t need and isn’t worth selling on the trading post, just sell to any NPC vendor. If the trading post won’t let you sell it you probably got it as a karma reward. That is only good for salvaging or selling. Crafting mats, I sold on the trading post. I didn’t bother to level crafting till I was level 80 and some people never do.
Gaile reviews tickets over 3 days old on the sticked thread Tickets for review, 3 days and older. However I have also recently read that they are swamped and it’s taking them longer than usual.
Maybe update your ticket letting them know it’s been 4 days.
Yes there is a new one. It’s in Lornar’s pass. Don’t remember the name but it’s on the east side.
Well, sounds like you will have to wait for that one guy to show up and see if he can find out. Otherwise you might just have to accept this as one of those things and find another guild. It may have been just some sort of misunderstanding but if I got kicked like that without some sort of reason given or a chance to say my side, I would probably just move on. Life is too short for such petty dictatorships.
Impossible to tell. You don’t know anyone else in the guild to ask? Was anyone besides you kicked from the guild? That happened to me. Someone got into the guild I was in and kicked everyone out, kept all the guild goodies and invited new people. So maybe his account was hacked and the hacker is kicking people.
Or just hold on to the ticket and wait for the next set. You never know, those might sell better.
But then he would have to wait even longer for the prices to go up.
Or they might release something so nice that the price is immediately higher. ^^
I have one ticket that I’m holding onto to see what the next set is as I wasn’t that impressed myself with the livestruck ones.

Hmmm I don’t know. They did change the support system recently and I don’t know if that is still available. It may also depend on whether or not he knows his ticket number.
Why can’t you play WvW? You are up leveled to level 80. True, you aren’t as strong as a true level 80 but you can just go there, look for a blue commander tag on the map and run there to join the zerg. No one will know that you are level 6 unless you tell them.
Just be prepared to die a lot, ^^

how do i get support on being scammed?!?!
in Account & Technical Support
Posted by: Astral Projections.7320
I’m not sure of the punishment for scamming. If you read the rules (https://www.guildwars2.com/en/legal/guild-wars-2-conduct-breaches-outcomes/) it says suspension or permanent account termination depending upon the severity of the matter. So possibly it’s an increasing punishment where the first time is 72 hours and it increases up to termination if the behavior continues.
In other words he may get a ban or he may only get a suspension if it’s a first time and depending on how they handle these things.

First off, you need to remove his character names. Naming and shaming are against forum rules.
Since there doesn’t seem to be a way to report by a ticket, it appears that the ingame scamming report is how they want it done. They don’t need your screenshot as they can check the chat logs and see what was said.
If you can’t locate them you will need to contact support for an answer. Top of page-Support, then top of page-Submit a request.
No, unless you made a copy of it for some reason. Normally you get the contents back in the return email where they acknowledge it. If you don’t get that then you’ll have to recreate it from memory.
Gaile doesn’t respond to all threads and even if she does it may be hours, possibly a day or two.
If it were me I would wait 24 hours from when I sent it off. If no response by then and you are reasonably sure the email is incorrect then I suggest you make another ticket and start over.
Huh.
So folks with a GW1 account that asked for a refund on GW2 can never link their GW1 account / Hall of Monuments rewards if they later get the game again?
If they link the two together then get a refund, then no they can not. If they had not linked it before the refund then they can.
I do believe before you get the refund you are warned that the account will be closed and the card used can never be used again with them.
From Gaile Gray, another thread:
“Be aware that if one gets a refund, the account is permanently closed AND the credit card associated with it is disabled and may not be used in the future in any purchases related to Guild Wars or Guild Wars 2 (or any other NCsoft game). This means that it may not be possible to simply get a refund and start a new account”.

It’s a phishing email from someone trying to steal your account. Just delete it.
other examples can be read here .
About switching servers, you can switch for free if you delete all your characters.
From the wiki:
Transferring servers
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Server
“The transfer fee is only charged if you have characters on your account; in other words, if your account has no characters or you delete all existing characters first, you will be prompted to select a new home world after creating a new character, free of charge.
To transfer to a different world, go to the character selection screen (using F12 or when you first logon) and select the desired world; you will be logged out while the game makes these changes, which might take 5-30 minutes. You can transfer once every seven days at a cost determined by the destination server population and whether or not you have characters".
If you have characters the fees are:
Medium: 500
High: 1000
Very High: 1800
(edited by Astral Projections.7320)
Yah. You got a refund so that previous account is permanently closed and you can’t reopen it or apply a new serial number to it. Any account you have now will be brand new.
Please post or read the thread on this same page. https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/account/100-Map-Completion-and-no-gift
Go to the PvP area. That’s the two crossed swords on your UI. From there you go through the portal that says Lions Arch. It will take you to the new site in Gendarren fields.
If you have never been to the PvP area before you have to cross the training area first. Head north to an old broken tower with steps. Go up. Up there is a portal. Go through. In front of you is another portal. Go though. That will take you where you need to go.
Idk about all games but I suspect most charge to transfer servers. I have read that WoW charges $20 per character to transfer. Some people there spend $200 dollars or more to transfer.
Anyway, I hope you find a game that suits you better.
(edited by Astral Projections.7320)
That is incorrect.
You are allowed one home server for all your characters and you can guest to 2 other servers per day.
If you wish to transfer your characters to a different home server you have two option. One is to delete any characters you have made (character names are reserved to your account for 24 hours after character deletion). Make another character and you will then have the option to chose a new home server, for free. No gems. Or pay gems to transfer your characters.

Recreate the deleted character and then use the splitter with said character.
That will not work. You can not recreate a deleted character and have items soulbound to another attach to it. The only way to get a deleted character back is through an account rollback.

I’m afraid support doesn’t work from this forum. This forum is primarily for issues that have already been handled by support but need additional attention from Gaile for various reasons. They also are used by people to get quick answers from Guild Wars 2 players who read the forums.
But for what it’s worth
1) run a security scan of your computer. Be sure to check for keyloggers.
2) If you found a keylogger, change the email password.
3) change your game password now if possible or when you get your account back from support if not.
4) if you don’t have IP authorization, look into setting that up if possible.
It will probably take a day or two for you to get your account back. It’s important that your computer be secure before this happens. Once you get it back and your computer is secure you can ask for an Account Rollback which will return your account to the state it was before the hack. You only get one of these per account so if your computer is not secure and you get hacked again you will not get a second one.
I cannot tell a lie.
John Smith did it. He is starting a new career as a flipper.
Snip
Other things — pretty much anything that requires an agent to review your account — must be submitted through a ticket and you will get a response to that ticket, first an automatic “We got your ticket” response and from then on, responses from a live human being. (Ever so much better than a dead human being, come to think of it.’
:D ).
Ummm is this where ANet is admitting they have undead minions of Zhaitan working for them, they are just not allowed to work in support? O.o
Hmmm maybe I better make a thread about this in the Discussion forum. :P
(edited by Astral Projections.7320)
There is no way to tell. The server will drop down from full when people leave it but there is no predicting when that happens. However while waiting for this you can make a character on a different server and then guest to Jade Quarry from your character select screen. This allows you to play PvE with your friends but not WvW.
Eventually ANet will probably increase server capacity but each time they have done that there were a number of full servers, not just 2. So when they will do that is again impossible to say.
It is possible to transfer to a non full server for free by deleting all your characters and making another character. At that point you will get the option to choose a new server.
(edited by Astral Projections.7320)
It depends. If your account was accessed from your computer or it was someone on a different computer who you gave permission to access such as your spouse or significant other, then no. The first because they can’t tell the difference between you deleting/selling off stuff in a fit of quit rage and your “evil brother” doing it. The second because giving access to others is against TOS.
If your account was hacked by a stranger then there is a one time Account Restoration allowed which rolls back the account to a time before the hack.

Support doesn’t read the forums, at least not during working hours.
All you can do is update your original ticket and request an Account Rollback. One day is not that long, they request 3 days and Gaile has said they have been busier than usual and tickets are taking longer.
If they have your updated ticket, sending them additional tickets and emails just slows them down. All they do is that point is read them and then close them down.

One suggestion I saw on another thread was account wide bags. Anything in the bag shows up on all characters that have that bag. With this you can use the tool on one character then put it in the account wide bag and when you log on to the next character with this bag, the tools are in inventory. Of course it would mean each of your characters would have to buy one of these bags for it to work.
Or just change the AFK kick timer to something like the WvW area. I think that might be around 5 minutes. If you don’t move then you are kicked out.
You can contact support and ask for an Account Restoration, a rollback of your account to a time before the hack that is offered one time per lifetime of the account. This will give you back the character the backpiece belongs to and that character can take the backpiece out of the bank and use the splitter on it. However you should be aware you will lose all progress, money and items you have gained from that point till now.

I’m vaguely suspicious of the word [fake] in the title and I’m wondering if it’s some sort of clue. O.o
Well since this is a joke thread, here is my tongue in cheek answer.
1) Get a job at Burger King
2) flip hamburgers
3) profit
Buy gems with the money, sell gems to get gold, buy Dusk.
