You can try this gallery. Don’t know if it has all of the armors, but it will give you an idea of what’s out there.

Yeah. I have read about the gardens in WoW and it sounded interesting. Something to do just to waste some time and to get mats also. Maybe even be able to grow one of each type of tree, like a soft wood or ancient wood. You should be required to water/fertilize the plants in order to harvest within the next 24 hours.
This would give people a reason to go to their home instance and give them something do while there.
Or how about a dye picker, something like for armor/clothing. Where different parts of a tattoo can have different colors instead of monochrome tattoos.
Wow that looks hard to beat but I can try. Here I forced my warrior to use the most hideous color combination I could think of. He was not pleased.
Ummm actually it looks pretty good. ^^ In that light, and maybe because of how you are posed, it looks iridescent rather than discordant.
This is really crazy. The guilds seem to have been built in a most sloppy manner. When you lost your leadership rule, however it happened, it should not have gone to an inactive member but to the next most active member. There should also be a way for the system to move leaderships off when a leader goes missing. Did they not realize that people will stop logging in when they lose interest, for life issues or whatever. They had 7 years to study Guild Wars 1 and see what the problems might be. Didn’t they carry ANY of that knowledge over? How hard would it have been to build the guilds correctly in the first place?
Unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be a good gallery of daggers out yet. You can look at this one to get some idea,
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Gallery_of_daggers
Hopefully dulfy will have one out soon.

Fortunately you can now preview weapons in the trading post before you buy one.

The peacekeeper dagger has a pinkish mist coming off it.
Console yourself with the knowledge that they are weaker than the equivalent Guild Wars 2 pets. I don’t even use mine since they die so fast.
I just want to share that the current state of the game highly discourages alt play, as I currently estimate it will take the better half of 2013 to finish gearing my main.
I don’t play enough to warrant joining a large guild, so the only path to much of the ascended gear is via the laurel system (why should I benefit from the work of people who play daily several hours when I only play guildwars at most an hour a day?).
Even if I could find time to level my alts (when I log in, I end up using all my time on daily and monthly activity) once they are max level, it would take another half a year to gear them.
Just wanted to get that off my chest, thanks.
You deleted your babies because you couldn’t get fancy clothes for them? O.o
On a more serious note, I have one of each profession. 5 are level 80. None have ascended and I may never have ascended. If I do it will be a lonnnnggg time. You don’t need it. Rares are good enough and exotics are the max you really need to do regular PvE. Also, there are the possible birthday presents you will no longer get. They were a big deal in Guild Wars 1 and likely to be again in this game.
As it is said, act in haste and repent at leisure. I suspect you acted in haste.

Farm T5 and T6 mats, sell what you get thru the TP then use that money to buy the vicious fangs.
You might check out the cultural weapon sellers. They sell their weapons for karma and some are very nice.

- stats:)
Very well done. Looks like you put in a lot of work on it. :-)
There is a workaround which is almost as simple as /report.
You can /w <botname> Caught! (or whatever you want) so that your whisper to him appears in your chatwindow, then rightlick his name. When you rightclick the botters name, you will have the menu option to report him.
Worth a try. Unfortunately the ones I have seen are extremely fast so it’s hard to catch the name. When you add gibberish names on top of that, like Fkgjsjlyc, it makes it even harder. If they do have a name I can get in the second I see them, I’ll try that method. They need to give us a way to report them other than that.
on any server.
1.) what made you choose and stay on the server you’re on?(guilds and friends aren’t a valid reason since transfers were free for four months)
Transfers may have been free, but moving means my guild loses all it’s updates. And why should we switch servers? It’s not like the game is different on another server.2.) what will it take for the wvw players to get you into wvw?
I doubt there is anything that WvW players can do.3.) wvw benefits your dungeon runs, do you not agree that helping us get the buffs you benefit from is the right thing to do?
I couldn’t care less about the buffs.4.)is it the repair bill that scares you out?(i know pve players with upwards of 200g, so the fact that they’re scared of a 10s repair bill is confusing)
Some PvE players may have a lot of money, but me and my friends/guildies do not. A 10 silver repair bill is a consideration. I’m not a good PvP player. I have wandered into WvW. Running into a huge zerg, getting killed and getting essentially no rewards is a turnoff. I managed to kill a handful of people but didn’t get even one badge. It cost me money I don’t have to play there.5.) why would a risen priestess of milandru be impressed with your Sunrise?
Don’t have a Legendary and may never have one. My shiny weapons were bought with karma for my own personal pleasure, not others.6.) to my GOM bros specifically, some of the PvE guilds on our server are upwards of 300+(and active), can you grasp how much of a difference just 1/10 of your guild members would make if they were active in wvw daily?
And the reason I don’t do WvW is because the times I tried it, it was expensive but not fun. A bad combination.k, gripe over.
I know that it’s not supposed to be a level playing field, but maybe they should change it so that it is. Change it so you are leveled to a full level 80 with PvP armor and weapons. If I am going to die repeatedly in a PvP area like this, at least remove the armor repair costs.
Yah, the mini dungeon at the Dengatl Grounds point of interest in Caledon. All the vets you could possibly want and then some. Fast respawn.
I don’t think the There is a Mists rifle, as they are based on Mesmer weapons. What you might have seen is the Asuran T3 cultural Peacemaker rifle, which costs 63k karma. Any race can buy one.
Scroll down to the Peacemaker Rifle and see if that’s it.
http://dulfy.net/2013/01/31/gw2-rifle-skins-gallery/
The effects don’t really show up in the picture. There is a pinkish purple mist around the rifle.

not much effort really to get 3 points, which is all you would need for only the armor (after linking accounts)
Well 3 more points to make 6 total. Not too hard but can take some time.
1) If you get a minipet and dedicate it, that will give you a point. A guild member might have a mini s/he can give you.
2) Dedicating M.O.X is also a free point. So that makes 5. I think you have to play Nightfall for a bit before he joins your party and you can do that.
3) If you make a ranger or have ranger as a secondary profession and level a pet up to level 20 and dedicate that, that is another point. An ez way is to get yourself to level 20. Then take yourself and a monk to an area. The area outside Kamadan has level 3 warthogs which will do nicely. Clear out the area surrounding a pet you want. Set the monk on passive and disable all except the rez skill. Also tether the monk a short distance away. Far enough so that when the future pet attacks him, the monk can run away and the pet will lose aggro on him, but close enough to come back and rez you. Attack the pet ONCE with a VERY low level weapon so it turns hostile. Take off all armor and weapons. Let the pet kill you repeatedly. Every time it kills you it will gain exp and it will gradually level up. Each time you die the monk will rez you. You can go afk while this is going on, just check occasionally to make sure it hasn’t stalled. Eventually, will take a few hours, the pet will be level 20. Put armor back on and charm it. TADA. :-)

I haven’t tried this recently but are they actually soulbound? I noticed in the past that the item sometimes says soulbound when you do that but is actually account bound and another toon can take it out of inventory and use it.
If you are friended with them and you mouse over the toons name in chat, it will show you their account name. That might help.
I believe it’s a bug. You can refer to this. http://www.reddit.com/r/Guildwars2/comments/19bgsm/new_stat_set_ascended_rings_cant_be_upgraded/
I hate to say this but I agree with you. I got 50/50 in HoM also. The titles don’t display worth a darn, the ranger pets are weaker than the pets you get in game (why?), the armor is better than starter armor so you have that at least. The rainbow jellyfish has the same skin as an ingame pet so that’s worthless. The only really nice things are the Flaming Dragon Sword and the Centurion dagger (gotten a couple of compliments on that).
I kind of feel I did all that work and got very little out of it. What I would like…
1) make all titles, including Guild Wars 2 titles, show up if you mouse over someone.
2) make the ranger pets have the same stats as the pets they are a reskin of.
3) give the rainbow jellyfish a rainbow color, not be identical to another ingame pet.
4) make the flaming gauntlets and Dwayna’s gloves sit on top of the HoM armor sleeves.. Right now if you are wearing the HoM armor that has long sleeves, it covers up your gloves. Really? Didn’t they notice this during the design phase?
If they do this, it would be better. Still lackluster, but better.
At least my Ranger would be able to use the black widow spider without it dying each fight.

Its been 12 hours and I suspect at this point the OP has made a name. Or uninstalled the game. ^^ Either way, I doubt he needs help anymore. :-)
It suppresses you not only in chat but with emails also. I used to send mats to a guildie and after about the 3rd or 4th send, it would stop me and say “suppressed due to excessive messaging”.
I would like to see a centaur try to swim, it would be good for a laugh, But no I don’t believe centaurs will be playable. How would they swim? how would armor fit on them. I can’t see a centaur do any of those. They don’t even have armor on the feet, legs or back side meaning Anet has not taken the time to do any of that. They are very unlikely to be playable.
Oh, but they do have armor already made up for them.
http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Zhed_Shadowhoof/Armor_gallery
As for swimming, basically they would be running underwater. However it would take a large rewrite to make all the armor fit them and I can see the Devs not wanting to take the time to do it.
And that’s why it would be good for a laugh. :P
As well as the thought of a Centaur trying to ride the broom mount.
Well, I guess they could always ride side saddle.
^^ How about Azrael?
I did it and the Shatterer for the first time in a couple of months and the lag was horrible. Not only that, I had a really hard time getting either dragon as a target. I kept hitting tab (for target) or trying to click on it to get it as a target. I did get gold each time so I obviously did enough damage but that, along with the lag which made the whole scene look like a freeze frame disco instead of a video game, made the events difficult.
I am leveling an ele and got her to level 30. There are NO underwater elite skills I can use! I guess y’all already know this, but what the heck? What utilities do y’all use to cover this deficiency? I kept on going over my elites because I couldn’t believe there wasn’t even one I could use underwater. Why can’t we use the glyph of elementals? Necros can summon minions. Why can’t we use conjure fiery greatsword? Guardians can summon a greatsword, hammer and shield as utility skills. This is really strange, for lack of a better word. Is there any update coming for a 10 point underwater elite?
Edit: are there ANY underwater elites at all? The 30 point elite is not and my racial elites are not. Am I missing something?

I’m going to guess that it would be an additional strain on the computer. If you have 50 people, lets say, on a map and each one shows up on each person’s map and then you repeat this computer load across all maps and all servers, it adds up to a fair amount.
It so easy some people even have Halloween cauldrons they share so you have access to a costume straight away.
And if you don’t have any potions and there are no cauldrons out, then what? Does this also mean that people will be crowding into LA, just to finish their daily?
Having to have access to a cash shop item to do your daily is not a good idea. I can just imagine the screaming in the forums if they instituted this.
It doesn’t seem that GUESTING is the problem, it’s the ability to get the reward again if you change servers. Remove that so that it’s “as intended” and you remove the problem of overflows caused by people server jumping.
+1 for the request to reorder weapon skills.
The way they are set up seems random. Why is the leap on slot 2 on one weapon and slot 3 on another? Or a control skill is on different slots on different weapons. Why is a skill that causes vulnerability AFTER a skill that does a lot of damage.
It’s like there were different people who set up different weapons and none of these people talked to each other. Didn’t the people who tested this during design notice and comment on it?
I played a Spirit Lord Ritualist in Guild Wars 1. I had my skills ordered according to which spirits I wanted up first, the cooldowns and how long each spirit lived. It was a very flexible and intuitive system, which Guild Wars 2 lacks. The way it’s set up must have made sense to the weapon skills designers, but it doesn’t make sense to me and its a flaw in the gameplay.
Centaurs have been shown as major characters since Prophecies, playable since Nightfall. The entire Sylvari race was created by a centaur. They didn’t like humans too much in Prophecies, but neither did Charr or Tengu.
Veldrunner and Maguuma Centaurs are perfect candidates for playable races to be added when either Elona or the Maguuma Jungle are added respectively. As for conflict with the current Modniir lead Centaurs that are enemies, it would make just as much sense as the huge number of Human, Norn, Charr, Asura, and Sylvari I kill every day as it is.
The playable races, including heroes and henchmen in GW1 were, in chronological order:
Human, Tengu, Wallow, Centaur, Dwarf, Asura, Char, Norn.Wallows are animals. Dwarves have been purposely avoided. Human, Dwarf, Asura, and Norn exist. Tengu and Centaur are next.

How about check boxes or icons at the top right of the screen for storyline, daily and monthly? You click on those to open up those options and click on them again to close them. That way you can hide or show whatever of these you want.
It is near impossible to do a major world boss event unless you get there an hour early. There are too many people from other servers there and I end up in the overflow unable to complete the event. I should not have to stand and wait at a dragon for an hour to save my spot.
How do you know that these people are from other severs? Do they tell you in chat or something? Since you can’t get a chest more than once a day per character, people can’t farm the event using the same character so what incentive is there for people to go to different servers to do it?
Really, I have seen this same complaint on other threads and I’m curious how you would know.
you can go to another server on the same char and get another chest. I assume this is not intended. I know ppl that have gone to another server right after completing an event on my server and got the chest again. Right after the event ends on my server I see chat light up with “xxx up in xxx server hurry if you want to get there”
The problem is server jumping from event to event to farm now.
Oh really. Hmmmm. I wonder if ANet is going to nerf this by making the rewards account bound because of people doing this.
The blue weapon is nice, but your outfit needs a different trim or a different base color. Nothing pops out at you. It just blends together.

If you both belong to the same guild, your friend could put the money in the guild bank and you then immediately remove it. A bit safer if you have or make a storage guild with just the 2 of you as members.
You’ve been getting up to a key every 2 weeks from drops? Do you realize how unusual that is? I’ve gotten maybe 2 keys total and I think that’s a lot more representative. Pretty much you either have to buy them or get them thru personal story. It’s possible to make a character and run thru the human, commoner story line to get the first key. Takes about half an hour to 45 minutes tho, so may not be cost effective.
(edited by Astral Projections.7320)
If only you had a Logan Thackeray statue also. He could have run away. :-(
I’ve killed them. They are a pain to kill, didn’t drop anything of worth AND they don’t count towards the giant killer track.
They need to change one of these to make them worthwhile. At this point I go around them.
I imagine the problem with once each calendar day, is that the calendar day is essentially different for everyone because of time zones. How is the computer supposed to know when your particular day ends and begins without adding to the extra amount of work it has to do? It would have to know when the calendar day begins and ends for every single person in the game. I’m sure it could be done but it would require an increased amount of computing power to keep track of all that. It’s simply easier for the computer to keep track of 24 hour increments for each event on each account. Once you do an event, the 24 hour timer starts. It doesn’t have to know where you are in the world and what day it is for you.

All I’ve ever read on restrictions just says no WvW. That there were no PvE restrictions of this type.
OP, I suggest you send in a bug report. That doesn’t sound right.
Edit: after doing a little searching, it appears that this has happened to other people. I would still send in a bug report, but it may be that people who guest don’t get full credit because of the way guilds only gain influence from people from their own server, or something like that. They were hashing it out in the various threads.
(edited by Astral Projections.7320)
They are very fast. It’s hard to even catch the name, let alone capture a screen shot of them. And if they have some sort of nonsensical name, such as Xfdhujkft, what’s the likelihood of you remembering that in the second or so that you see it.
The only thing I can think of to do is to send in a general bug report stating what you saw, the place and the time along with a screen shot of the area. Maybe that will be enough information for ANet to track them down.
It seems like one way to handle this is for guilds to be more inclusive. I am in a smallish guild, 30 players of which 12 max might be on at one time and usually less, but we happen to have the AoW already at level 5.
I am going to talk to the guild leader about making a Guild Bounty membership setting for temporary one time members to join us to do a guild bounty with us and then leave the guild. That way we can do the content and others can also do the content and get the bonuses without having to leave the guild they normally represent.
I would like to hear feedback on this for possible problems with it before I present it to the guild.
Agree with OP.
It not only would be nice to have a pool of skills for each weapon but also a way to move skills around on the skill bar so they make sense to you with how you play. I almost get a feeling the skills were put on in a random sequence. One weapon will have a leap skill at one spot and another has the leap skill at a different spot for example. I would love to be able to put the leap skills in the same number slot or put a vulnerability skill right before a big damage skill, instead of after.

Ummm the Sylvari area??
Found this in the patch notes.
[edit] Guild Wars 2 Wiki Notes
Two new waypoints were added: Proxemics Lab in north-western Brisban Wildlands and Langmar Estate in south-western Plains of Ashford.
I don’t have one of these weapon, but for y’all’s sake I certainly hope this is either a bug or they revert it. :-(
That’s strange. The cartographers site says 16 waypoints. http://gw2cartographers.com/
Still downloading patch so I can’t see directly.
