You have to report guild names by contacting support. You can do it from the forum by making a ticket or in game (with a screenshot). Be sure to include the Display Name (the Name.xxxx) and the guild name as well as the character name.
Zomg this is getting ridicuslous. Why would such action be bannable. Guys, get a grip! Why are so many people intimidated and fear that every action may be bannable.
I remember reading about a good farming site. I spoke to a friend about it and we were going to go there. Next day I read that a bunch of people got banned for farming at that site.
Getting that close to getting banned or reading about others getting banned will make you cautious.
You could ask in chat for greens (armor and weapons) be sent you. Most PvE content is easy enough for that. With that as a start kill enough to earn money or karma to get harvesting tools to harvest wood and metals. It’s possible to get several gold a day farming iron, other metals and wood for sale. When you get enough, upgrade your gear to rare. Most rare gear is 30 to 70 silver each. When you have that you can either continue farming or do dungeons for gold.
Don’t they reset to original colors if you remove your costume then put it back on? I know they lose the colors you chose if you take the costumes off.
I gather from previous posts that they are swamped and the waiting time is a bit longer than usual. You might need to give them another day or two. If after that goes by, you might post your ticket number in the stickied thread above, Tickets For Review. You can also edit your post and put your ticket number on it, in case a staff person reads it and wants to look it up.
Hi, the character that I play in game is Kitty Bearheart, a level 80 Ranger. My computer broke down and I need to inform my guild “Aim [HIGH]” on the Jade Quarry server about what’s going on.
If you know this guild, could you please pass on the word on to the leader or any officer that I really need to talk to them? Or direct them to this post so I can talk with one of them please? As I cannot access my game on a worthy computer for sometime, I don’t remember the actual character that the leader plays…

As Gaile said We have no objections to this, as long as both accounts are used by you and you’re not, say, botting with the one. Clearly, account sharing is a really bad idea, and botting is strictly prohibited and will bring the wrath of Dhuum down upon your head. Well, figuratively speaking, anyway. I don’t sense you’re intending either of those things, though, and a lot of players have a secondary account they use legitimately in order to send benefits to their main.

This has been mentioned so many times since the game began even with the [Celebration Cap]. Unless you created a bald character, you’ll feel something is amiss with the lack of hair, which is very noticeable.

The complicated part is that hair and hats are currently the same thing so far as the game is concerned, and getting the game to recognize them as a different items at this point is no small task. However, once you get that fixed, hats and hair could just be two different geometric object placed at separate distances from the animation bones in the head. If hair and hats are separated in such a way that the game can alter one based on the other, we could even get hats which can be worn in a way that fits your chosen hairstyle.
Just attach a hair style to the hat. A ‘hair tucked under the hat’ look in a preset color is far better than the current ‘bald person with hat’ look.
This is essentially what they ended up doing in GW1 after a while with new party hats they added. It always still felt “wrong” to me, since ultimately my character would end up with a completely different haircut/colour, and not one I’d necessary felt suited them. It didn’t really work for me as a solution.
I’m honestly a little disappointed that they’re back to square one on this issue in GW2 with their headgear, although I suspect that combining hair and headgear was simply too time-consuming to implement properly even in the new engine. After all, after GW1 it could have reasonably been foreseen that players wanted it, so I think it’s implementation issues rather than design oversights.

Yeah, it’s not the best option. Obviously the best option is you have the hat on top of the hairstyle and color you chose for that char. But if that’s not possible, for whatever reason, and the possible choices are either ‘hat on bald woman/man’ or ‘hat with hair tucked in’, then imo ‘hat with hair tucked in’ is far superior.
You might want to consider something like gem cards or prepaid cards, at least until whatever problem it’s is with the company gets settled. No point in risking your account if Digital River is having problems.
Even at my most irritable I’ve never gotten over 20 or so. Even those get unblocked after a while, unless they were exceptionally annoying/disgusting. I figure the odds of running into the same person, who is again being moderately annoying, is petty low.

If they do something like this, I would hope it’s a long term item in the gem store. Not a special, “here for X number of days then gone”. The price they will probably ask would means buying enough for all my level 80s would be a long term goal, probably over several months. ‘There and gone again’ sales would stifle buying, imo, since you will need more than one to make this work.
Posting on a public forum gets you people who answer posts on a public forum. As incupatus said, if you want a private conversation, make a ticket. No staff person is going to come on the forum and say “sure. We’ll give you free stuff. Change your names for you”. No staff person has the authority to authorize this sort of thing. That sort of thing is through a ticket only.
By the way, you need to come up with a better argument than, I want it or I spend a few hundred dollars.

ANet is a business trying to earn money to pay their bills and themselves to make a profit. They aren’t going to hand out free stuff without a compelling reason to do so. “I want it” is not good enough. “I bought a lot of stuff before” isn’t good enough either.
Edit: if your argument is that you are a “whale” (someone who spends large sums of money) and should be catered to for this reason, a few hundred dollars doesn’t qualify anyone for that status. Maybe try spending several thousand to 10 thousand dollars, then contact support and ask for free stuff. Who knows, they might be willing then.

(Just last week I noticed that all WvW maps were missing a banker. Sometimes banker is there but not when I needed it, of course. Perhaps Anet tried to make a need for the golem banker they promoted.)

Eric Flannum: Every player character in Guild Wars 2 has the exact same sized collision cylinder. For asura this means that the cylinder is larger than they are and for norn it means that it is smaller. Very early in the process of making the game we knew this was going to be the case, so the min and max sizes of our races are heavily influenced by this.
So what exactly are you asking ANet to do for you?
Change your characters names for you? That’s 2400 gems worth of service you would be asking them to give to you for free. They are a business and that’s part of how they make money to pay their bills. You would need to make a compelling case for them to do this. Just wanting it isn’t enough.
I’m afraid that’s it. Buy 3 name change contracts or delete a char, use one name change contract then remake the first char. The only time support will change a name is if it violates TOS.
You could always use a 20 level scroll, crafting and single level scrolls from PvP or Black Lion chests to get the remade char to level 80 or close to it.
Good luck. A previous thread where this happened the guildies managed to contact the guy and get him to log on and transfer leadership. And he may not be gone forever, just until he decides to play again.
From previous threads about this sort of thing, there is nothing they can do. They don’t have the tools to change the rankings of guild members or to remove/add people to a guild. In addition, they don’t give out information on how to contact players outside of the game.
Your best hope is that someone will know how to contact him or that he will come back one day.
That’s because they are 1 ticket each. The other, going for 5-7 are much, much more expensive.
The others, when they were first released, were also 1 ticket each. OP’s post is talking about the speculation that the nerf to key farming would drive up the original 1 ticket prices.
I gather, from a previous post, that the hobo sacks are more like the Ele attunements which show on their hands/wrists rather than a regular backpiece item. Maybe that’s why they have problems fixing them. If they don’t want to get rid of them entirely, changing them to appear somewhere else might be a possibility.
Spend all that time picking out glow, fur colors/patterns, tattoos. Then cover it all up with armor so it doesn’t show and no or few options to get it to show. :/
Gah, this is why harvesting tools should be account bound. If they were 800 gems each, and given to all characters, I’d have bought the flame tools already, and would now be buying at least the logging axe for my necromancer (and any future necromancers). As it stands, I’ve bought no tools at all because having them on a single character, or moving them between, isn’t worth it.
Cool for those who will get use out of them like this, but ANet are losing a lot of gem sales here.
I seriously doubt fully account bound tools would be 800 gems. The original soulbound ones were 800 gems, then increased to 1000 gems for the version they are selling now. If they made an equipment slot for these then I would expect them to increase the price to above 1000 gems.

I remember a post or two about it but can’t find them now. But going under the map has the potential to make it harder to see you from a distance at any rate.
I could see someone or a group of people going underground and hiding their name plates behind a rock or other item. I don’t do WvW much but I’m sure someone could figure out a way to abuse an infinitely long version of a type of stealth.

ANet also said they increased the ticket/scrap drop rates. The amount they increased it by is unknown but from the few key runs I’ve done, it’s noticeably higher. If it’s higher for everyone else, that would increase supply and keep prices down.
I was unable to find a source to link, but old posts all say that all chars have the same hitbox size. The main difference is how easy or hard it is to see the animations or how easy it might be to overlook a small char.

Perhaps it was on a character you deleted. I’ve read threads on the past where they were re-sent to accounts that deleted this mini. If you want it back, you can always contact support and see what they say.

For non-space characters, the English versions of the game allow the standard 26 letters of the alphabet along with accented letters such as à and è. All client versions on all servers also allow ÄÖÜ Umlauts in name while a German keyboard layout is used.
Might require a keyboard with these letters. I wasn’t able to use the codes that put accented letters in chat myself.
Permabanned accounts include accounts that were hacked and used for gold selling and botting. Since the account holders can, even years later, appeal to support and be reinstated it’s unlikely they will ever be removed from the server they are on. Even accounts that are permabanned by actions of the account holder have been known to get this reversed.
I wonder if the new logging axe would have the same bug than the frost wasp axe,
since it also seems to have a channeling animation.
I was really tempted by the logging animation on the new axe but then I saw that it has the same channeling animation as the frost wasp axe, which I bought and am unhappy with because of that bug. So no sale for me, at least until I hear whether or not this one has that bug also.
I recommend you get another dog. ^^There are large numbers of dogs in the pound looking for a home. Most of the dogs I’ve gotten were pound dogs and were wonderful pets. As a plus, you’re saving their lives as well as giving them a wonderful home. Yes, it’s sad to lose them but there is the joy from living with them to balance it out.
