The system can automatically put the game and forum password the same as default. Then the player can change their forum password themselves whenever they want.
I can’t see how it is a big headache.

Just updated my ranger with knight gear and have noticed him getting aggro a lot more now. Not really my point in putting knight stuff on, but just have to live and kite with it.
Back when my ranger was still in rare knights gear, I could pull a champ away from a group of people meleeing it just by showing up and hitting it with my shortbow. The champ would forsake all others and cleave to me, chasing me down to try to kill me. I would be kiting like a crazy person and all the people who were meleeing it were probably cussing me.
So, if I understand you correctly OP, you’re saying if you use someone else’s open to all and unsecured internet and you put sensitive information in it someone else might get your information.
Well, yah. That could happen. The answer might be to be careful when using other people’s open internet.
I agree with the ascended drop having selectable stats. I’ve gotten 2 so far and I was able to use both. One was actually ok stat wise, not great but usable. The other, it was so so, not awful, and I chose a spear. Because how often do you use a spear.
But getting an ascended chest and after the first excitement knowing you’re not getting anything great. That’s not so good.

If not to that particular pet, maybe a statue to all beloved but now gone pets. A person with a cat, a dog, a bird on the shoulders for example, with some sort of inscription.

Be sure to edit your first post and put your ticket number. If a GW staff person reads this they will want it.
If you have more than one ticket going, close out all except one. New tickets put you in the back of the queue and slows down the responses back to you.
They “improved” the mystic forge a few months back so there is more variation in what you get from it.

One of the variations is that 4 level 80 items can give you a below level 80 item.
How is it a risk to have the same password? Doesn’t ANet control this forum also? Considering it’s tied to their support and the blogs they post on, I would think it would be very secure.
The achievement points and any extra dungeon tokens that were too few to buy anything, as well as left over karma after buying and getting rid of karma items will still be left on the account.

I can’t count the minutes i have spared when farming lemongrass because i don’t have to fight the raptors .. bought 9 sickles for maybe 600g all together and have maybe already made 2-3 gold more thanks to the speed ..
Or the time I was harvesting a farm node with a veteran chasing me. Harvest, run, harvest, run…… I got all the nodes with that fast new sickle without having to stop and fight…. Pay to win.
I’d be curious to know how many who are upset about the watchwork pick bought the fast sickle that allows you to harvest on the move. Innocently bought of course, not thinking about it or not knowing the speed difference before purchase, but it does give more gold faster.

In the past, women wearing pants was shocking, immoral and lewd. Women were arrested and fined for wearing men’s clothing. Keeping this in mind, the prohibition against men wearing women’s clothing is a cultural feeling, not a “natural” one.
If OP is talking about old, resolved tickets which iirc could be found from a list, then those have to be found by looking at old emails now. They removed that list when they updated the ticket system some months back.
Did you go all the way to the back of the Chantry? That poi that gets missed is behind a portal in the far back and may not appear until you get close to the portal entrance.
That map will show 100% even without that poi since it’s in an instance.
If it’s not that, I suggest you go to every map in turn, including the WvW maps, and check completion for that map when you are there.

I didn’t have that issue when I was doing the human one. I bought most of it on the characters who could wear it, but the last four or five pieces on my warrior (and it included medium pieces, not heavy).
Idk. Like the OP, I bought several pieces on the ‘“wrong” char and it didn’t advanced the counter. Perhaps it was/is bugged.
I always carry both ranged and melee. Ranged at start to begin the fight then switch to melee when the target is close enough. Dodge out and switch back to ranged if my health drops too much.
As to taking damage, yes you will take more damage with melee. You can minimize this by constantly moving towards the back of the mob.

It doesn’t say that you need to buy on a char that can wear it. I did the same thing as OP. Since I was buying for the achievement and skins for the wardrobe I wasn’t particular about which char bought them. Wiki just says you have to soulbind it. Since the armor you buy on a char that can’t wear it does soulbind to that char, I didn’t catch it wasn’t advancing the counter for several pieces.
You can try contacting support OP, but since your achievement isn’t impossible now, just more expensive, and since those armors are still wearable by using the wardrobe, you probably won’t get a refund.

I think there is not a single person who would disagree with this sentiment. keys are not priced for the one thing you want. they are priced for everything they give. Like: how much would it of cost you to buy all the boosters you just got from the gem store? revive orbs and repair canisters? etc.
This is sort of right, but I would argue backwards in its reasoning. Without key farming the cost of new skins would be based on the cost of the keys it took to buy it minus a percentage of the value of all the other stuff you get.
Key farming however means that people are basing the cost of skins on the time it takes to farm enough keys for a scrap, which in turns drives down prices lower.
Anyway OP, the data for scrap rates is available, as is the knowledge that the economy is player driven and that scraps are subject to RNG. You should be able to draw your own conclusions as to whether they represent good value. If you did not do your research or got bad luck with RNG you should consider it a learning experience rather than complaining about it.
About the information on drop rates. Technically speaking you’re correct. However there have been so few recording the drop rates since the NPE that the information is very general. (I guess a lot of the people who were recording on previous charts were key farmers who have stopped).

I don’t know if it shows that on everyone’s screen (it shows only 6 dots on mine) but it still works, sort of. The auto login isn’t working. You have to hit the log in button manually and then it will start.
In other words, it’s still saving your log in information properly, but you have to log in manually. The auto login doesn’t start.

I think the whole idea that female characters have skimpier armour than guys is unfair tbh. I think there should be an option where no matter what gender your playing as you can choose between the female look and the more male look for every piece of armour that has a difference between male and females.
For example: the winged armour set on guys looks so boring and drab, but it looks amazing on girls. The same with the pheonix set.

I don’t know how fast other people are but without crafting I can get to level 10 in about an hour. There are some people who are using crafting, usually cooking, to level up fast.
Basically you get to level 10 as fast as possible where the first set of personal story starts, then do that to get a key at the end of the set.
I remember a number of threads by people who are leaderboard competitors that asked for less dailies or a cap put on AP you can get from dailies and monthlies so they wouldn’t have to put in so much time each day doing them all.
Then ANet capped the AP you can get from doing dailies and monthlies and reduced the number of items for each daily.

It’s not worth trying to trade something like that by player to player. If you get scammed, the other player will get suspended or banned (not sure which) but ANet will not replace your Twilight or send you the money the 2 of you agreed on.
I would think it’s too early to tell even if they wanted to. Since they haven’t given out hard numbers since launch, I really doubt they would answer this even if sufficient time has passed, which hasn’t imo.
They did say this about the old town clothes and why those weren’t made into armor instead of costumes and why they are now making costumes instead of armor.

What I get out of this is, they are saying the look of a costume can’t be easily translated across all armor types because the different armor weights are set up differently. At the very least it would require 3 separate armor designs, instead of the one for a costume.

If you are a collector of armor and weapons and want to fill out your wardrobe as much as possible, there are a fair number of karma armor and weapons from heart merchants and there are merchants that sell cultural weapons for karma. It makes for an easy way to get a lot of skins without using gold.
