It hasn’t been released yet. ANet occasionally does “free advertising” by putting skins in preview before they’re released.

After reading several articles regarding Glassdoor’s methods of income and the fact that it accepts any anonymous review with zero background checks or accountability, I can not consider it a credible source of information. Anyone doing a google search on their reliability will find the same. The only thing they seem to get right is the job salary range.

All previous arguments, plus the fact that it isn’t fair to players who might return, only to find that they are no longer on their server of preference.

1. All of the gifts are account bound, so yes, you can craft some of the components with other characters.

2. Yes, once the weapon is account bound the skin is unlocked in your wardrobe, so it can be applied to other weapons.

There is a daily fractal "daily’ that rotates in sometimes. Otherwise the daily fractals are just there to encourage people to do fractals on a regular basis.

Actually you’ll probably appreciate those hero points later when more elite specializations come out.

I don’t think you have anything to worry about. They add more achievements all the time.

Don’t feel bad. There is a campaign to get ascended trinkets with those stats too.

It’s on a PvP reward track. First you have to unlock it as a mist hero, then do a secondary track which awards the mini.

The devs have already said they’re working on the issue.

On top of the gaming mouse, I’ve heard of USB pedals that could possibly be configured to help with some functions.

I had this issue too, and it just seemed to fix itself in the last couple minutes. It was probably a temporary disconnect between GW1 and GW2.

Have you hung any tapestries? Dedicated any minis? Made any elite armors? Got any elite armors for your heros? Just having Eye of the North is not enough, and it was very clearly explained what was required.

I don’t know how long it’s been going on but my mini pets are deactivating when signing out or changing characters.

I’ve got them on the last two rank-ups, and my roommate got them this morning. It may be a bug, but it’s not universal.

NCSoft is the publisher and parent company of ArenaNet. That being said, they have pretty much allowed ANet free reign over the development of their games, even going so far as to buy back their shares from Nexon in order to avoid outside influence.

They actually had it out for a day last month.

The reason I don’t do raids has nothing to do with the difficulty of the raid itself, but rather the attitude of the of the crowd performing these raids. They require you to have this, this and this, and to play this class with this elite specialization unlocked, and if you don’t ping your gear out you go. I don’t play like that. I have a character I like to play, in gear that I like, with a build that I like. Admittedly it is the group’s prerogative to kick me if I don’t comply with their wishes, but it is also my prerogative to play my character how I dang well feel like. And so I don’t raid.

I’d recommend arriving with flowers. Then ANet has to take us to a movie, followed by the amusement park. After that should be a really expensive dinner.

Mortifer is correct, storage should be your first priority, as that can only be expanded with gems. The rest have readily available in-game solutions

Since we not getting the legendary weapons which was part of HoT content. How about Anet compensate us by giving us ingame items like gems or an additional character slot?

We got legendary weapons; we’re getting one more.

Now, I admit that I expected more, but upon re-reading the original blog post (and follow-ups in various places), I realize that was me imposing my hopes on their comments — they never promised a full set of 16, only the new process allowing to create our own precursor and some new ones.

I also agree that, at best, ANet mismanaged our expectations — they could have made it clear that only a few legendaries would be offered with launch and that it might take awhile to see more.

Still, in terms of legendaries, they delivered what they said they would.

The first three we’ll release are a celestially themed axe called Astralaria, an experimental energy themed pistol called H.O.P.E., and a raven spirit themed staff called Nevermore. It takes a lot of work to craft these legendary journeys for release, so rather than take the time to develop the full set before releasing any of them, we will be releasing new legendary weapons in small groups at regular intervals until the full set of sixteen has been added to the game. Collections for the existing legendary weapons will be available on launch day, while the first three new legendaries will become available shortly after launch, alongside raids.

Don’t spread FUD.

Legendary weapons where never part of HoT content, they where released after HoT launched. You where required to own HoT to get them..same with raids, we where told they would be coming after HoT launches.

So if anyone is talking rubbish it would be you. Yes Legendary weapons getting canned is bad, but we knew when we got HoT, that they would not ship with it. People need to remember this.

Never part of HoT content? How come they were accounced the same time as HoT at the same event? And how come they are based on/in the new HoT maps? How come the website clearly says:

Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns heralds the beginning of the first new set of legendary weapons to be added to the game since its original set of twenty included in the launch of Guild Wars 2.

They are part of HoT even if you seem to fail at reading.

We where told they would not be included with the initial launch of HoT, we would need HoT to be able to craft them. The wording there is very specific. HoT heralds the start of new legendary weapons. Not, new legendary weapons will be included with HoT. If anyone has failed to read and understand it would seem to be you.

Why do people say this like it’s an insult? It really isn’t… at any rate, it’s nothing more than a postponement. Mike did not say there would be no more legendaries forthcoming.

Hardly. You paid for access to it. Do you get it if you didnt pay? No. In pretty much ANY mmo in existence, you’ll find that there’s language in the EULA/ToC that amounts to “you paid only for access to the service/product,” not “you paid for something you THINK you should get.”

As someone who has found the construction of six prior legendary weapons tedious, I’m very glad that you decided to go in this direction. I never found either the new collections or the construction of them to be content, but more of a side project to do in case of extreme boredom. I look forward to LS season 3.

I got Margie’s axe and dagger. The rest I either had already or wasn’t interested in.

1. Friends
2. Guildies
3. General (neither friend nor guild)
Allow us to select which whispers will display (or not display) on our tabs.

Most likely just bad luck, though it’s impossible to really tell without a sample size of several thousand to work with.

There are now ascended salvage kits so you can salvage those rings for materials, some of which are needed for other ascended/legendary gear

I’m curious about this as well. I tend to get a lot of the account upgrades but I don’t want to spend gems if it turns out this is a glitch.

Just use LFG menu to taxi to a more populated map. It’s far from dead.

The big chest (the one on the ground) once per day per account. If you’ve done the event before on that day on another character, it won’t appear a second time. If that isn’t the case there have been times when it bugs out.

Ditto I probably spend way more than I should on this game, but I don’t regret any of it in the least. Kudos to ANet, and may they bring us many more years of gaming!
