I only just had this happen to me, though the rollback was small.

While everyone was going for chaos gauntlets in GW1 I specifically went for the glacial gauntlets. I’m glad they’re coming back, and I don’t care how they are obtained, I’m getting them!

Seems really lame. Now we miss out on the third slot. So instead of three potential items. We only get two, the other slot being taken up by a ToT. If it lasts till Wintersday then that’s really gonna be a killer. Sorta glad I stocked up on BL tickets.

We don’t miss out on a third slot because the third slot was a guaranteed booster.
But in my honest opinions, boosters were somewhat useful. I wouldn’t have gone out of my way to get them, but if I had them, I used them.

Actually a booster was not “guaranteed” but it was likely. Still, I also hope they remove the ToT bags soon. It’s keeping me from buying keys as well.

I main a guardian and I believe I can safely say it’s gotten a lot smoother than it use to be. I agree they used to be very clunky. As for a possible alternative, I’d recommend a Necromancer. I’ve found them to be very flexible, both in possible builds and in game play. Welcome back to the game!

Unfortunately no. Both the feeder and the feeding material have to be in your inventory for it to work.

So sell the thick leather and buy the hardened? Considering the price of thick leather I fail to see a problem here.

There is a combined AP cap on daily/monthly achievements of 15k AP. It’s likely you’ve hit that cap. The individual holiday dailies don’t contribute to that cap, so you still got points for them.

The second a subscription of any kind, optional or otherwise, gets implemented in game people will leave in droves. Any money ANet makes from those subscriptions won’t even begin to cover what’s left, and the game will be completely dead within a couple months. So no, absolutely no.

I’m afraid I have to disagree with Na, as there is a very good reason why the Asura might want to avoid the northernmost islands. That being that Abbadon’s Mouth, an extra-dimensional gate, is located on one of those islands. There is also a second bloodstone there as well. Without knowing what might be around it or what might be coming out of it, the Asura likely chose to avoid the risk.

If any of the gear you have is affected by these changes, it’s likely to be one use only.

Your character gets scaled, but not your gear. That being said, you will not be able to change to 80 gear while in there, because that isn’t your character’s actual level.

On a further note, you can have up to 15+1 shared slots, which should more than cover what you’re looking for.

They should also bring back Doc Halvern with his krait oil. Might make the asura selling it drop his prices.

I have to second this. Plus, I believe there is a skin model for it already in game from LS1 during Scarlet’s invasion of Lion’s Arch.

I’ve seen those figures everywhere, and I do mean everywhere. I’ve even seen them in the PvP Lobby and WvW. I think ANet is up to something.

Not everybody cares about you having a meta build. Just today my guild was putting together a raid group, advertising “No Experience Necessary”

You do need to have Eye of the North, as that is the linking area for your achievements. If you don’t have EotN, even after linking accounts nothing will show. FYI, you can get the whole thing off Steam relatively inexpensively.

I could get behind this. I have over two stacks of unopened Frostbitten toolboxes that I don’t dare open because I don’t have nearly the bank space for them, and which tool you get is completely up to RNG. I’d love to have them be able to stack.

From past experience I’ve found that Carrion works very well for Necro (peanut butter and jelly, I know). I’ve also used Shaman with Ranger, but I’m not the greatest Ranger player so I can’t really tell you how well it works. Seemed fine to me.

Karma did get nerfed in EotM, but events still generate as much of it as they always have. That being said, there are far more productive ways to farm for obi.

I can personally attest to the fact that they do occasionally help with the first skin. I was in the same boat, had discarded the first skin but had kept the second. Almost a year after the wardrobe system came out I sent in a ticket on a whim about the first skin and they sent it to me no questions asked.

With the release of LS3 you can also farm a back item, rings, and accessories in Bloodstone Fen.

It could be any number of reasons. The starter maps aren’t usually all that popular unless there is a world boss or “current event” going on, in which case the map will flood. The players are there, but some maps just aren’t as popular as others unless there is something major happening.

Given that the number of times the servers have gone down since launch can be counted on one hand, compensation is not necessary. If anything compensation is overkill.

General question for everybody, but for ANet too… Were we supposed to get birthday gifts yet? I made five toons within 45 minutes of the three-day head start launch, and just logged into one of them. I will not give details, but I got the birthday gift. Head Start didn’t even start till the 25th, so even taking that into account this is a day early.

I had a similar issue, and now can’t even access the log-in server.

My client kicked me out, and continues to crash after the character select screen. Error 19:9:13:1498:101

Whatever people’s arguments on the matter, there is one inescapable and irrefutable fact. And that is that if ANet makes GW2 subscription based, benefits or otherwise, the majority of the player base would leave en-mass, and no matter how much ANet made from the the remaining players it would not be enough to keep the game afloat. The game would shut down and ANet would be bankrupt in a matter of months.

If Dueling is to become a thing, I still feel it should be kept completely out of PvE zones. Instead it should be confined to specified areas, perhaps certain areas of the main cities (lore wise there is already precedent for it in Lion’s Arch and The Black Citadel.)

It has been my experience that even with an option to auto-decline a duel request, the incessant messaging that follows, either by the person making the request or by their associates is beyond maddening, is a horrible distraction, and detracts from the overall player experience in PvE zones.

So if dueling is to be added, add it to it’s own specified areas, but keep it OUT of PvE. Thanks!

Ok, sorry about this but I still don’t get it. "The achievements are not really for specific level range, but for completing whole tiers. " You only got the achievement before for compeleting whole tiers. That was the achievement.

Yes, but now there are more fractals (up to level 100), and the tiers have been restructured.

It’s because they completely revamped the way the fractal system works. The way you earned those older achievements will not work under the new system.

Actually the bug has been reported already, and they are working on a fix. Not sure when it’ll be released though.

Considering I suck at adventures, I’m rather glad there are more points being added.

Not possible to have played it for 9 years, as the 4th anniversary is coming up this August. Also, to be honest, the BLC’s have always been a shot in the dark as to whether you get anything good or not.
