Sgloomi is referring to the medal for completion, which only requires completion on one character to appear. It appears with any other account medals you may have, such as PvP progress. It may not, however, display first as Achievements/Upcoming Rewards is the default.

Characters selected show individual stats - could you provide those stats for the characters who are missing out? Are they all the same, or are they different?

I thought it would kick in on one of my characters, until I realised I was missing a couple of hearts (the ones added to the lower zones), and I’d only half completed two cities. Not saying this is what’s happened to you, but double check you have 100% on all map sections (via the world map stats, and if necessary, you can hover your mouse cursor over each name on the world map and it’ll tell you if it’s 100% or not).

Is there a fix in the works for this? I can confirm it’s still an issue. It occurs after using 2 or 5, and seems to be possible to cancel it by hitting something via 1.

It’s quite annoying, and since it’s a great looking weapon, it’s a shame it’s spoiled in this way.

Map Completion - WvW

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

I’d urge anyone to keep trying for completion, even if it seems insurmountable. There’s a couple of threads going around of late of this nature (they come in threes or more like buses), and in some of those, there’s likely some other advice, maybe better advice, of how to tackle your WvW completion coming in from a PvE perspective. I believe one such piece is to try and get things just after reset. Also, if you know anyone from your server who’s walking around with a big old star next to their name, maybe you could ask them how they managed it.

I would advocate taking time, too. This isn’t something you can get in a day, unless you’re very lucky. If you’re already 80 and have done all the other maps, I’d advise doing a small bit of WvW, then finding something else to do (preferably something that doesn’t make your gnash your teeth!).

If you’ve just hit 80, chances are you don’t have all the PvE maps either. So, I advise starting any gaming session with a small bout of WvW - try to get a few vistas, PoIs, and maybe a skill point. Don’t do more than that, unless your map is looking good, or you run into a productive zerg. Also, don’t worry, fuss, bemoan, or otherwise besmirch a zerg. It’s a means to getting things done, and if you’ve been failing on your own, perhaps safety in numbers will get you what you’re after (and you’re also then contributing, and not screwing over someone in the queue). Ensure you have supply for this sort of thing. If it’s an enemy zerg you’re worrying, fussing, bemoaning or otherwise besmirching, go ahead. That’s quite fine. Waypoint back to start and go in the other direction. Fast. Or try a different map. It’s okay to quit if you start to feel the day is lost. Then go and do something else (preferably something that doesn’t make your gnash your teeth!).

If you’re not level 80 yet, start WvW now! Okay, you’re not *quite* so powerful, so you may well want to think twice about engaging anything you see. That’s okay. This is a good time to join a local zerg, if there is one. If not, ensure you have a reliable speed source, and just get the nearest stuff, as quickly as you can. I advise a revisit just after reset on Fridays, if you can make it, if you want to try going a bit further into the maps.

For all of the above, if you find a commander who’s getting stuff done, follow them. If your server is using TS or other voice coms, use it. You don’t have to say anything, but you might be more effective. People will often tell you where enemy scouts are and you can avoid them. Map chat may also do this.

___________
Remember, this is a softly, softly approach. You may even learn to enjoy what you’re doing, and if you don’t? You’re not doing it for a particularly long period, and you’ll be doing something you consider fun afterwards. This is how I learned to stop worrying and love WvW.*

So, I sincerely wish everyone the best of luck with getting their completion - I believe everyone can do it, even if they presently think otherwise!

*will not necessarily work for everyone, but I advise checking out the myriad threads on this topic for other solutions.

* Which character/profession would you rather be?

I’d be myself, and though I’d like to be a mesmer or a ranger, I imagine I’ll just be "citizen". I’d ideally be sylvari.

* Which game mechanic would you rather not have to contend with?

Anything that would contribute to my untimely demise.

* What currently unimplemented game mechanic would you wish was implemented?

Individual houses, decorated to the highest standard and opportunities for home cupcake bakers.

* Which NPC would you be most likely to seek out and befriend or clobber or ________?

Quaggans. I shall repeatedly befriend quaggans. I shall clobber no one, because I am a citizen, and do not have the training: I recognise my limitations!

*Which zone would you choose to call home?

The Grove. But if they don’t sort out this silly situation with that dragon, I shall be forced to relocate to Garrenhoff, in Kessex Hills, until the whole thing blows over.

*Insert your own questions here!

Can charr retract their claws? Or do they inadvertently injure themselves all the time?

Ceridwen.6703

Does it, though? I remember reading somewhere that Abbaddon was originally the god of water/ice before he was cast out and Grenth took it over. If that is true, I think we have all 6 lining up pretty well:

Zhaitan=Death=Grenth
Mordremoth=Plants=Melandru
Kralkatorrik=Chaos=Lyssa
Primordus=Fire=Balthazar
DeepSeaDragon=Water=Abbaddon

That leaves me with Jormag and Dwayna, and if Jormag is more about cold wind than he is about ice itself, that matches up with Dwayna’s element. Only if the water element part is true, though, but not as much stretching as you first claimed.

I would add a small alternative: Jormag = Grenth (ice) and Zhaitan = Dwayna (the balance or cycle of life and death, or arguably just life. Because everything does die as part of life).

I’m not particularly attached to any of this, though, just playing with it a little.

I’ve said before that when it comes to naming sylvari, I open the map of North Wales and hope for the best. The fact that they themselves don’t always pronounce the names correctly in real life terms allows a little leeway, I think (I’ll never forget Niamh being said as Nigh-am).

I have Geirionydd, which is actually a lake (Llyn Geirionydd), Llannor (a village), Gwynant (either a lake Llyn Gwynant or a valley, Nant Gwynant). In the past I’ve had Llangefni (town on Anglesey), Talysarn (another village), and finally Penrhyndeudraeth ( a "peninsula with two beaches"). Each time I look at the map until I find a name that feels right, can be pronouced (to an extent, I suppose!). The meaning of the name isn’t always such a big deal so long as it feels right. Admittedly Penrhyndeudraeth came about because of frustration with the game’s naming convention. I was pretty sure no one else would have it.

To be fair, I grew up near North Wales, and know a thing or two about Welsh pronounciation. Even our train station signs were in English and Welsh.

I should say, the last human I made was known as Deadly Rotary Fan (duel wielding axes). I’d rather name sylvari any day!

It’s not about what’s easy, or hard, or even how long it takes. We’ve all got different opinions on that. It’s not unreasonable, however, for someone to say they don’t like some modes of gameplay - one would think most people know themselves well enough to say how they’d like to spend their happy fun time, however much of it they have.

The daily system no longer provides the choice in modes it used to, and that is the cold, hard fact of the matter.

The Apostate was indeed a Margonite, but why would he know about the all or the eternal alchemy? I’m curious if this is another hint pointing at Abaddon’s actions had something to do with the immanent rising of the dragons. It’s always been thought the gods had no relationship to the dragons, and it’s possible they didn’t immediately, but I just don’t see how with evidence… like GLINT, how they couldn’t have known.

Last thing, it says it’s probably a metaphor at the end of the book, a metaphor… for what? Is it simply the obvious? The death of a dragon? Or something else? The elder dragons are powerful, but Tyria is but one small piece of the world. Something has been hinted with Mordremoth’s progression, that he’s becoming very powerful, very quickly. He was even able to find away to get woken up early. Balance works in two ways though

If we’d all voted for Evon, we might’ve found this out.

All this talk about corruption.

Are the destroyers corrupted or are they simply destroyers? Corruption of a creature that was never a dragon minion is possibly different from a creature that is brought into the world as a dragon minion. Corruption means to change from it’s true form, arguably any sylvari that fights Mordremoth is the one that is corrupted, not sylvari that embrace their true purpose and serve their master.

We simply don’t know how sylvari went from “meant to serve the dragon” to the dragon fighting army we know today. It might be simply the positive nurturing of the Pale Tree, no magic involved, it might be the power of a forgotten ritual performed off-screen, perhaps Glint intervened or Ventari and Ronan did more than we know. It’s simply unknown at this point.

We don’t even know how a sylvari goes from loyal Pact member to turning on its allies in the blink of an eye. Was there a pollen in the air? Did their minds become vulnerable because the Pale Tree is weak? Is it proximity to the dragon? Do some of them have weak wills? We simply don’t know.

I remember this from my A-level Psychology class under Child Development stuffs. It was entitled Nature Vs. Nurture.

These bosses are easy as pie, just observe and take a look at the mechanics. They give you enough time to do so (if you can dodge a bit what you should at lvl 80 by default). I for one am sick of the stack and auto attacking that this game was reduced to for far too long and i welcome the attempt to make bosses that atleast fight back. Learn to play your class, avoid the very obvios red and orange cyrcles and watch the bosses movements, if a new element is introduced in the fight try how it works and what it does (like that fire in the last LS fight) and adapt to the enemie and the fight and dont expect the enemie to adapt to you. The enemies job is to kill you and not to cuddle you or give you an easy time (well..still easy but you get the point). Its your enemie and it wants to see you dead…DEAD. Man up and try again till you get how it works. Learn to play your class and\or adapt the build to the enemie if its not working. Use food and wetstones, change your weapon set, change your armor to something more tanky if needed. Read the enemie descriptions and buffs if available. Cant figure out how the mechanic works? I’ve done the instance twice now - the first was horrendous (yet I just about managed it), and the second I only went down once and managed to get back up again without too much trouble, since the mesmer downstate got fixed. I was also in that other thread you posted in on this boss, and did find some of the advice there very helpful - even if sometimes the delivery leaves a lot to be desired.

Again, I can’t promise to be perfect, but I can try and help out.

Edit: I should say, I pop number 2 on Krestfallen’s list above, so I know there’s every chance things won’t work out for me. It’s still annoying though! Speaking about photosensitive epilepsy – or maybe just epilepsy in general – anyone else bugged by the lighting involved in the LS encounters with mordrem? I had a very near miss in the last Camp Resolve instance where I stupidly got stuck under a ramp, and the resulting graphic really wanted to kill me. Somehow managed to get out of it, but I’ve found the lighting to be rather disturbing, though it could be because I have to have the screen much darker than standard (same sort of issue in the Labyrinth as well).

I don’t have epilepsy but I’m hypersensitive, and I’ve found the lighting in some scenes to be very difficult to look at. In chapt8 the scene in sw where you’re fighting all the modrem and it’s smoky …HORRIBLE. Towards the end of it my eyes were actually hurting.
I also have similar trouble during the sandstorm in drytop. Would like if these could be turned off. I avoid drytop completely during the sandstorm.

Yep, that lighting in Camp Resolve was difficult (and any other time it appears, like with the dragon instances). Thing is, I know it’s atmospheric, makes it a bit more than if it was just the creatures and you saw everything perfectly. Same with the sandstorm – I’ve been out in it for brief pockets of time, but there’s no joy there for me. But! at the same time, it adds interest to a zone, and I don’t think it should be removed.

So yes, the ability to turn stuff off would be nice, or rather, really lessen up on the particles and things gusting about – for example the snow in some places is bad. That said, I’m not sure it’s possible to do something with that, and there’s always the chance it could be used for an unfair advantage.

Photosensitive as well, though less for recurring flashes, mostyly big intensity changes are the main trigger, I can watch into a strobe and keep standing, but lightning or flashphotography can down me quick.

I still notice most problems in the temple events in orr. Dwaybna and Lyssa are problematic…

I run lower intensity screens nowadays, and screen backlighting to lessen the intensity of changes, which tend to solve all but the worst problems. And I haven’t suffered a serial TC attack in the last 4 yrs now.. leaving me hopefull I’m only having PC and single TC attacks nowadays.

Hello! It’s great to see another PSEr! I love that we can get on games and play these days with a lot less worry. I personally don’t do strobes, yet enjoy lightning, but camera flashes are nasty. I usually tell people I don’t turn up in photographs – because I duck out of the way!

I’m with you on the temple events, though for me it’s always Dwayna more than any of the others. Other areas have presented some minor issues too, like off-kilter platforms, say in HotW, or parts of Ascalon. Though whether my poor depth perception is a result of epilepsy, or just something that co-exists up there, I don’t know. It’s a thing, anyways.

I’ve played a little with my monitor’s settings so things are duller, but in instances like the Labyrinth in the Silverwastes, I think that made it more problematic. Same with that mordrem lighting. I’ll keep tinkering to see if I can’t find a better setting.

I think your epilepsy is more severe than mine – I don’t think I’ve ever had serial attacks, and I’ve not had a single tonic-clonic for some years. I tend to avoid a lot of things that bug me, though let’s say I do get distracted sometimes, so those absences are something that persists. I’d never make a surgeon! Flat screens do make a difference, and I’ve not seen a strobe in person for years – call that getting older and no longer going out to nightclubs. XD Mind, I live in the back of nowhere in Norway; I wouldn’t have the first clue where the nearest nightclub was! If there’s strong sun on snow, that does annoy me, so I have wraparound sunglasses on standby at all times.

Hope you keep well and take care of yourself, Pax, and the game treats you well.

Hello, OP!

Every now and again, a thread like this pops up - and we find there’s a lot of us with different conditions, disabilities, and other difficult circumstances, all enjoying playing GW2. It’s always heartening to read the messages, and to hear people really do find comfort and meaning in a game, and the social interactions it brings, though I have personally cut my social behaviour because I "don’t play well with others". Though, it’s just a game, and that seems silly to some, it really doesn’t matter. It also doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks about it, either.

For me, parts of the game are sometimes a little difficult owing to my photosensitive epilepsy, but there’s more than enough here to keep me happy. I can’t wait for hang gliding in HoT, however it turns out, considering that’s something I’d never be able to do in real life. Of course, none of us are going to be asura or sylvari, charr or norn, or even humans wielding magic - none of us, wherever we are on any scale, are going to kill a dragon today. A game such as this gives all of us common ground at the start, and no one should be picking at anyone for finding it a release.

Speaking about photosensitive epilepsy - or maybe just epilepsy in general - anyone else bugged by the lighting involved in the LS encounters with mordrem? I had a very near miss in the last Camp Resolve instance where I stupidly got stuck under a ramp, and the resulting graphic really wanted to kill me. Somehow managed to get out of it, but I’ve found the lighting to be rather disturbing, though it could be because I have to have the screen much darker than standard (same sort of issue in the Labyrinth as well).

I get feared, run half a mile away, fall off a wall, and then spend an eon getting back up to the top because I take the least expedient route possible, and find it’s all finished up top regardless. This takes skill, you know.

XD

Others may indeed choose to brew up instead of that last step with the running round the long way.

Which makes me think it should be necessary in some way for us to be up top to deliver a killing blow and get a nice Skyrim/Dragon Age style cinematic of our awesomeness. Then someone should hand around tea and cake. Huzzah!

I do remember (vague memory) having to fight a particularly big foe in that area where all I had to do was sit down and let the npc’s do the work.

Made a nice cup of coffee and watched the screen sitting back. Oh… was that what you were referring to Ceridwen?

Heehee. That’s round two, about halfway through.

I feel your pain, OP! I remember how frustrating those instances were the first time I did them.

However! Take it as a learning experience. I tend to do the following, which may be of use to your later characters:

At Claw Island, speed buff yourself and leg it to Mira (as Donari says, go around on the left to her, not straight through the risen. I personally jump down the little wall that’s there). Fight nothing.

Make a report. Run for abominations along the wall, try to avoid fighting anything else.

Run for trebuchet, and find the sweet point (IIRC somewhere around a three-quarters of the way, probably a little more, of the bar), and fire. Enjoy watching the bombardment.

Report.

Speed buff, run for beacon, try not to fight anything (you’ll just get weighed down).
Run back down to the courtyard (do not use the way you came, run over the hill a jump a little down).

Now it’s time to troll the risen. Except they’ll still win. Stay near the gate for a smoother exit.

Exit the gate at the appropriate time - and yes, sometimes it does take time.
Ignore everything and leg it back to the ship. All the NPCs will be fine, except for the (spoiler) obvious.

For the Ghost Rite, take a moment before doing anything to check those abilities when you first transform. Then go and burninate, and as Olvendred says, you keep moving (make like a shark. A big, overpowered, burninating shark). Once you get the hang of this, it’s actually really good fun.

You’ll be going back to Claw Island, by the way, if you haven’t already. Pop a reply or PM me if you want tips.

Please remove Scarlet from the story

in Living World

Posted by: Ceridwen.6703

Ceridwen.6703

Please remove Destiny´s Edge, I did not play when they where introduced. And references to Zhaitan, I mean, when I joined the game, it was already about Mordri. And while you are at it: I did not watch the early seasons of Supernatural. Please remove the character of Crowley, I was not there when he was introduced. Hm, now thinking of it, you can scrap Dean and Sam for the same reason actually. Please make everything in general depend on when I joined something. This of cause only applies to me. Every fictional format should revolve about my point of view.

To be fair, though, you can go and pick up Supernatural DVDs or (cheekily) watch it from other sources to plug any gaps. They also give you a bit of information ahead of the episode (Then and Now), which typically gives you enough information so the episode itself will still make sense. Despite having typical series arcs and some concentrated arc episodes, they also still do that monster-of-the-week thing so you don’t have to know all the ins and outs.

I get the point, however.

Previous forum-goers have asked for things like a Tyrian newspaper. I don’t know if anything has come of that, or if we’re actually waiting until the expansion for something concrete.

I personally would just shove an item or two in the Priory archives and direct players there through an in-game mail from some magister or other, though I should think Ela Makkay was a strong candidate (she’s being documenting things, IIRC, and did catch us up a little at one point a long while back during the Tower of Nightmares. Not sure if she still performs that catch up function in any capacity). The mail would mention an artifact that shows pertinent scenes from all that has gone before, or perhaps a book written by a notable Priory member, which details in diary form events that have gone before - whichever makes most sense to get people caught up in an unobtrusive manner. I favour the book, which would maybe have an advantage by showing a clear timeline due to its format, and is perhaps the easiest solution to slot in. It could clarify Scarlet’s role in everything - even if she is rather annoying - which would assist any player, new or old, in placing their own role in the timeline. Also, there should be a book for each season and/or event. No event, however big or small, should be undocumented by the Priory!

There was also a map that showed us where things happened in season 1. I’m rather out of the loop, mind, but the link doesn’t show any more, and I don’t know what happened to it. That doesn’t do much for something in the game itself but for that, there is some small precedent with Scholar (now Magister) Makkay.

Final LS boss help needed

in Living World

Posted by: Ceridwen.6703

Ceridwen.6703

I’ve held off from really commenting in this thread (though I did snark a little earlier). Until now!

When I first did this boss, I had just been told my grandad had died a few hours previously, and in an attempt to numb that news, I decided to continue the Living Story into the wee small hours and just get it done. This decision was likely not the wisest in hindsight, and certainly coloured how the boss went for me.

Normally I can range from haphazard "Leeroooooy Jennnkins!!" to Really Rather Good! and on to Fingers-Refuse-to-Hit-the-Right-Keys-Because-Crappy-Genetics. That first attempt ended up with being heavy portions of the latter, with some actual tears and some stupid fails, but frankly, I don’t think the fight was entirely to blame. Then I went out of the country to attend my grandad’s funeral, and came back a couple of days ago, ready to give the LS season 2 finale another go.

So today I did went with my actual main character for a go against the dragon. This time it was personal (my main’s a Sylvari), and thanks to this thread, I didn’t die once. I had one downed state incident which was a bit tedious because of the rocks in the centre, but I managed to get out of it eventually with mesmer downed skill 2 now working without a target (at long last!!). I was even muttering out loud, "Come on, Rox, need the fire now!" and for the love of Cheeze Doodles, I’d swear she heard me were that not rather impossible. Braham more or less played ball this time, and the overall fight - though still a little annoying because of lighting and camera (but that may well be the PSE talking, and the lighting has certainly been problematic for me this season) - went so well I applauded myself at the end.

So, in a roundabout way, my grandad’s clan slogan ("Stand Fast Craigellachie!") came true and good, and thus I gave that dragon a good old smack on the nose. I now feel rather attached to this fight and am happy to have given it another go.

Now if I can make a request Anet for the Black Watch tartan to feature in the game and it succeeds, I know there’ll be a crazy Scottish chap laughing himself silly somewhere.

EDIT: OOPS!! Forgot to thank everyone in the thread for giving helpful tips and advice! Thank you!

Are you going to buy HoT?

Ceridwen.6703

I won’t be buying it.

Thanks to a (potentially) lucky release window, it’ll be given to me for my birthday instead! I shall likely ask for cash for gems for some character slots and other bobbins. Despite not liking some decisions made over the last year or so, and despite the "Heart of Thorns" name giving me the impression of a Mills & Boon novel, I still find the game to be enjoyable, even if I don’t play quite as much as I used to. Yeah, I can have a grumble about it every now and then, and I’ll put it down and do something else for a bit instead. The joy of the non-subscription model and all that. The prospect of hang gliding, even in just the smallest measurement, is exciting (since I jacked in ArcheAge, I’ve been missing flight).

Might buy it for my kid, though. But only if I think it’s suitable.

There are a lot of reasons not to have romance with well-known NPC’s in an MMO. It’s rather a RP faux pas, actually. One big concern is how it conflicts with others who also are “romancing” that NPC. “She’s my wife! No, she’s mine!”

“Hello Dave… You’re my wife now!”

What will happen to Sylvari PCs?

in Living World

Posted by: Ceridwen.6703

Ceridwen.6703

Assuming the Sylvari player is not a roleplayer*, I would hope nothing happens. Doing things like that to players without informed consent feels very wrong, a violation of sorts, though I mean that only in a small, game bubble sense. But I don’t think it’ll come to that.

Given a choice, however, I imagine there would be some who’d like to have a pop at being a complete minion, and some (such as myself) who would never dream of it - pun totally intended.

I have real life stuff going on making more than a little emotional right now, so my sense of this may be disproportionate - it has certainly coloured my reactions to this latest release, for good or ill - but the idea of being a minion on three of my characters really bugs me, more than I thought it would. I went and rolled a charr to see if it would help, but alas! it didn’t.

So I’ll be refusing to be a minion minion, and will just be saying no, thank you very much. You must have my twig confused with another.

*I’ve "overheard" bad twigs in the Grove before now, bless ’em.

Evon is the best. He doesn’t always come across as the best thing since sliced bread (which he undoubtedly is), but that’s been his clever masterplan all along.

Even if it doesn’t appear to turn out that way, that’s exactly how he planned it.

What made you buy gw2?

Ceridwen.6703

Beta tested with an old guild (coming from other games such as Neverwinter Nights (2002 version), Age of Conan, SWTOR, and so on). Checked out the original Guild Wars, but most in the guild did not like the instanced game play so much, but GW2 fixed some of that. A big plus was "play how you want" before it became apparent this was not truly so. No subscription model. Asura! Charr! Sylvari, but that wasn’t immediate. Engineers with grenades and bombs! Yet I engaged in none of the hype the guild mates enjoyed. Other players not kill stealing/ninja looting and so on was rather nice, and something other games seriously fall short on.

Was given the game for my birthday, so I technically didn’t buy it, but I did later upgrade it with gems.

I’m the only one from my old guild that stuck around past a year. I do most things alone, or with my daughter these days.

I actually thought the forced in-game advertising was a bit naff. I’d have stuck a HoT NPC somewhere in the vicinity with an option to "play trailer" in some suitable GW2 wording. That’s not to say I’m not intrigued (I am, but in a tentative manner), and given the choice I would have watched the trailer anyway - but it’s that choice that’s so important. Delivery of information is important. This lacked panache.

Further, I have to say "Heart of Thorns" sounds like a Mills & Boon romance novel, something a little trashy. That is not to say any content shepherded under said title will be either naff or trashy, but.. eh. It’s cliche, and also lacks punch, though again this says nothing of any associated content.

Braham’s bubbles -did- do things, though. They gave you Protection and Stability, meaning that if an orange ring showed beneath your feet while you were channeling, you could just ignore that.

Rox threw the fire into the ring, with an Audio cue so you knew when to look up for it. Kasmeer did what she does best and spammed Time Warp whenever the boss was vulnerable, I ended up killing it faster than my brain could catalogue (I was too busy checking my skillbar for CDs to notice how fast the Shadow’s Health went down).

The only one whos presence I missed was Marjory.

Braham’s stability was great sometimes, but didn’t always seem to work. I wasn’t sure if I was lagging, or just ultimately being rubbish, but I was channeling in those bubbles when the dragon tossed me up in the air on more than one occasion. It is very likely I was being rubbish.

Rox’s fire went in some comical places – for example, in the middle, with the rocks, when the rocks are doing their thing. Thanks, Rox! I mean, her eyes tell me she’s fully caffeinated, but still…

Kasmeer did fine, though I used my own Time Warp too, and Marjory actually was sending bone minions in, though I don’t think they ever lasted too long, sometimes it seemed like they might do.. well, something. Not really sure.

I was pretty awful at it, but I’m not a good indicator of how good/fun/worthwhile the experience was.

:::

That said, Trahearne’s okay. He did a lot of paperwork whilst I went out and had fun doing stuff. Best was using a golem battle suit during Air Drop. I want that suit with me at all times. Trahearne just had to do boring stuff back at the office. And he never did steal any glory for it, either.

I don’t personally like too much praise, so I just ignore the people I have to hang around with now. I sometimes wonder if they’re sycophants, or if they’re planning to stab me in the back at some point. “Et tu, Frostbite?” I’d say, and be rightly justified.
