skip to 4:43 you can see the players (thief) misses are all white text, shortly after this or somewhere soon after is a string of red misses from an enemy thiefs unload.

a regeneration ranger played right is near invincible unless multiple players are on him, he’s the best and most efficient (quick aplying) healer currently though it is self heals, what exactly are you going for anyway pve/pvp?

the simple solution would be to have them like the SAB, keep the RNG boxes, we all know these bring in money and a lot of it so there here to stay (and i don’t blame Anet for that at all) but have mobs / chests / JP chests (not daily boss chests) with a chance to drop a tradeable version of the skin, this way people who try to sell them for 500g or whatever, chances are the money will come form the gemshop and conversion anyway, so win/win all around.

the problem with making them more difficult is they end up like Balthazaar and Grenth, not a problem in my book but people moan and then usually leave them to there own devices while doing the easier events for the most part.

my suggestion would be to include them as guild activities, NOT MISSIONS so no influence needed rather they gain the guild influence thus helping the smaller guilds and the bigger guilds alike to put towards guild missions, make these instanced, similar to Fractals, entrances at the dragon event locations in some form of asura tech and increase the difficulty + scale to the player.

Its not a hack, its quick reflexes, mesmer forums and look for ‘’seven mirror’’ build it’s a shatter build and basically you get three, send them in for a bomb while there running summon another 3 and send them in for another bomb (i.e. mind wrack + confusion or imobolize + mind wrack) this normally comes with a blurred frenzy for increased damage.

the 3 summoned after you have pressed the shatter keys do nothing until they are active (which is after the others have shattered) and generally are invisible until the others have gone boom.

alternatly they are just incredibly fast at summons phantasms and clones, spec for it an you will have an endless supply..

no hack, learn game mechanics before you moan.

also video please and we mesmers will be able to tell you exactly what build it is.

edit: in close quarters and quick summons you do see around 6 clones plus the ones you dodge or summon to escape and wait for the next round.

Those of us who put in the work are not well recognized. We have nothing to show we built them and not just bought off the TP. I was expecting some achievement when I crafted my dreamer in the forge. Nothing.

I kept this post short because their is nothing else I need to add.

I think someone who bought a legendary weapon from the TP deserves more recognition than you, because he is obviously putting way more effort into his job and real life, by making a lot of money.

1) Ranger – can be fantastic, i would take a good ranger any day, luckily my guild is full of them.

the haters are people i generally avoid at all costs as they follow like sheep to what is generally said, a well played ranger is a great profession to have with you.

2) thief s – Melee, don’t like it? whats wrong with gun/gun + bow ? see a few successfully (albeit not many) running this.

3) Mesmer, sounds like you want one of these, to be honest i main a mesmer and there great fun, melee / range can do it all (much like ranger/thief) however you will have tp manage shatters and phantasms to get the best out of them.

try a mesmer. but if ranger is hated by everyone you know, get a new guild or a new set of online buddies.

For your CPU upgrade, you will need to go into the BIOS on startup (F4 on mine, differs from model to model) and find out the model / make of the Motherboard.

Reason for this is depending on how old the Motherboard is, for example my board cannot take the newer CPU’s as there too big (my comps about 6 years old i think) and other parts like ram sticks also need (well ideally) to match up with everything, difficult to explain over text.

alternately it may be your PSU failing to deliver, if you think it could be the gel or the fan a good way to try and test is to leave the case off while you run it see how that goes also make sure you hold your hand over the CPU fan + GFX card fan, see if there pushing out warm or cold air (same with the PSU fan).

A lot of engi’s use turrets in Spvp and Tpvp, WvW well yeh dif story.

yeh i have to admit it would be nice to hve a tittle i have not got one myself and have no interest in getting one, but those who do put the effort in and craft the thing should get some sort of tittle ‘’Twilights Edge, Let the Sunrise, Incinerated’’ etc, it would be nice for those that crafted it i have been in hundreds of parties that flat out go ‘’oh we have a rich boy in the party with a shiny’’ to be honest that’s unfair and derogatory at least the tittle would separate the crafters from the buyers.

its a combination of companies making accesable fun, repeatable content as opposed to tough one time stuff and also due to the player bases aging and just getting used to all the methods of ’’challenge’’ challenge comes from other huimans imo.

spawning clones and tasms arnt the problem, the problem is luring or stunning and having the reaction to re-supply the clones for a frontal assault before the stun / root expires, likewise if your fighting another competent player they will dodge roll the shatter, so you have to ’’fake’’ it to make it.

there’s more to mesmer burst than meets the eye at first glance though yes its very powerful.

remember you can kill fast but will be killed fast so be vigilant, also mix zerker / knight / cavilier + boots as valkyrie and you have a very good burst / toughnes / vita ratio, enough mitigation to survive burst and enough burst to burst anyone down.

empty your collectible stash you will be amazed at the wealth you amass from that crap.

Had to level an alt for the vigil chest and gloves, who is now my official “vigil armour requisition officer”, and only exists to provide this character with armour! :p

we really don’t this is a big misconception, specs that choose to have mobility have it, other than the thief we probably have the best in-combat mobility when played and built for it.

(EU) hit me up. i rarely run with guardians and warriors, normally necro’s, thiefs and engineer’s all great when played well, especially the thief and engi.

If people look at any in-game video from most games they wont be entertained at all, this is not a trailer it is a ‘’snip it’’ of whats included in the patch, a patch preview if you will.

as a video it is abysmal and a snip it and ’’preview’’ it is perfectly fine.

Anet have confirmed previously for all tickets you can use these at any time in the future and have no expiry date, ill find the quote, hang on.

edit: sorry i was getting mixed up with the Gauntlet tickets, the Gauntlet tickets do not have an expiry.

the Fused WEAPON tickets expired with F&F’s ending a while ago now, as the vendor disappeared (unless ofc, he is still there, somewhere)

Mastruq, Anet have all ready said some ’’temporary’’ content parts will remain permanent and we will see changing landscapes and zones but there building up to it, which is a good thing so i wouldn’t worry the further the living stories go on on the more content temporary and permanent we will get.

for example its subtle but unless the southsun’s new settlements are destroyed by the 28th patch they will remain permanent and some events i am sure will remain permanent too.

as for flame and frost well….the facilities where underground and we have shut those down so there’s not much they could change on the surface, the refugee’s have settled (or being held hostage to a degree) in southsun, lets see what happens next, F&F was a test, Anet have said that themselves somewhere to see if what they want to achieve could be done, the scale will be getting larger and larger, if not then i will be mind boggled.

if all the elder dragons go on and be defeated then the’ll be another big bad, simples. however we at least know there is;

the water dragon (Leviathan?)
The forest dragon
the crystal dragon.

now all these stories could be lengthy and although they may involve elder dragons they themselves might not be present 24/7.

i don’t think we are necessarily going to be waiting until an expansion for another elder but there will be one in it, the expansion i think will be on the Tengu.

as for expansions i think people are being very single-minded you might find if GW2 does well enough there may very well never be a boxed expansion, that’s not to say they will stop adding content, however. its obvious Anet are taking a different approach to this tittle than any others on the market currently.

i personally had no problems leveling the mesmer so i never can really relate to this lvl 40 business.

your right with that you can play naked in pve :P

as i said there not all meta or cookie cutter but you can play any build in pve, for the most part it is easy as pie, and by glamour i am talking about null fields, feedbacks, portals all traited, for charging bosses portals can be fun, used them a lot in MF with lowbies, worked a charm.

you can trait specifically to shatter more or use phantasms more so there’s two builds right there, you can trait for full on support damage or full on support, while you can sure use them in any build glamour wise its much better when traited.

multiple stuff and alot of builds can switch out a trait or two and have a slightly different style, the play styles of the mesmers build differs a lot but being pve yeh, dodge and summon really

in that case every class only has 3 builds really. support, dps, defense.

just stop them from summoning with any means necessary and your good, they hit hard but that’s it, not much more to the phantasm builds for the most part, if they do summon a couple destroy them there weak as peanuts, or alternately kite around you don’t need to sit and take it tasm style.

if your fighting on ledges or anything jump down, pull the player (or push him off) carry on the main mesmer he’ll have to re summon then blink back up, or jump back up, use the terrain, phantasm mesmer hit hard that is it take that away and they are weak.

3? how is there only 3?

1) Reflection Based from inspiration for dungs/fractals with lots of projectiles.
2) Phantasm
3) Shatter
4) Support based, simuliar to no.1.
5) Glamour, yes you -can- use this type with adjustments in pve.

are they all ’’meta’’ or ‘’cookie cutter’’ no but we have variety.

as for your weapon swap question Seras you will want to carry every weapon with you you’ll be changing a lot in given situations.

also from an Engineer a very active class with lots of combinations skill slot wise you will not be disappointed with the mesmer, of course engi’s have more with kits and things.

Thief’s are also extremely active with no CD’s you need to keep you eye on resources while moving and positioning yourself, a lot.

What the post was about Dhampyr is not your nearest target as in enemy that is not the problem, the problem (well inconvenience) is the fact they attack Ambient creatures too, like rabbit, rats, firefly’s etc things which would never normally be in a fight now sometimes a fight passes over these ambient creatures and when it does or when someone blinks / jumps back or forward etc if we dodge roll the clone has a high chance to attack the Ambient creature.

no adapting needs to be done we all all ready know how Deceptive evasion works it has always done this however doesn’t make it any less annoying.

as for attacking the player you want yeh well…position is key and i enjoy that.

you cannot see it when your stealthed, you as a player can see it but enemy players cannot.

staff hits hard, the phantasm is brilliant don’t underestimate it and of course tons of defense and mobility.

Do not rush, seriously enjoy the ride you will find and ’’gear’’ quickly and there really is no reason to rush your not going to miss anything, go to southsun, do the living story you will be up-levelled same for living story dungeons.

collect waypoints, this will benefit you to no end, make sure you fully explore the map you are in.

alternatley: get a high level freind get the XP boost + Killstrak XP boost, and watch the xp roll in.

anyone who can interrupt the phantasm casts, dodges right or has enough evades / dodges as a build to counter.

a well played bunker Ranger for example can beat them, so can a dodge/evade thief when everythings used at the time its right for then its ok, as a shatter mesmer myself i make sure to switch to focus and GS, push back, pull and daze mantra (traited) to interrupt casts.

i have to admit though now i come to think of it i have had trouble dodging phantasms when there first summoned (as in very hard to dodge) however the is a slight delay before they attack so good luck

in tpvp play you will see tasm mesmers getting shut out and countered, a lot.
