WOW – people need to take a chill pill. I get the April Fools joke – it was based on the movie Wings (a silent film about WWI pilots). Also, didn’t you ever play airplane as a child?
People really need to get off this fake indignation rant and move on.
I think T1 NA has a strange overall community. Meaning, since we’ve been fighting a decent number of these people since launch (no, really), or are now fighting alongside them, there’s a lot of friendships that have developed over the years. It’s pretty hard to explain if you’re not up here, but it’s evident to most of us. There’s always sour apples, and people who are too salty for words, but overall… it’s highly dysfunctional, but it works. So, no, I do not believe T1 NA has the worst community. Not by a long shot.
No – on TC, which is T1 BTW, has a very decent community. We do work together in WvW, I think it just depends on the guilds. It is how the GL sets up the guild as to whom they attract. If you have an odd GL, you will get odd people.
Currently BG and JQ are coordinating attacks (and not fighting each other) on TC and is coordinated from one guild. This guild is on both servers and are not fighting each other. This is absolutely ridiculous that this is allowed to happen.
Their idea is to get FA to T1 so they can farm that server and not get any good fights.
it doesn’t bother us on TC, it is just ridiculous that both JQ and BG say they are not doing when you can see the people running both groups are from one guild.
I think a guild should be only on one server period.
Well – A.Net has stated one Key = one function and that includes macros. Anything other than that is against the rules.
It is very plain and simple.
This whole troll siege naming thing was argued to death multiple times. Rams have other uses besides being on gates. Granted placing them around a supply depot is a sign of trying to waste siege, but even this has legitimate reasons at certain times (example, when trying to remove supply from a keep before it flips, although personally I have used ballis and trebs for this)
Additionally, I rather would not like the idea of my name plastered all over siege. What if you accidentally throw siege wrong, because you were in a hurry at the time? Now, you have people yelling at you for placing it poorly, calling you a noob, telling you to learn how to throw siege properly. Or, you only had regular Arrow Carts and used them in an attempt to defend a tower, and now your server is yelling at you for not using Superior siege, even though if you had not thrown the regular that tower would be lost? These are things that ALREADY happen, and having a name on them would make it worse. If I was in there and wanted to defend, but knew people would do this, I wouldn’t bother. This would open up even more trolling, because it would give people an easy target.
btw, screenshots, etc, while it can be used to show actions going on, are not what Anet would use to ban someone. They use chat logs, and in game behavior. mumble/ts/vent are all outside of the game, and therefore outside of their jurisdiction.
We did and it was ignored.
Said it before and say it again … just add the name of the person to the end of the siege name…. “superior flame ram by hexin.5603”
I like this idea and make it visible only to your server, so the other servers don’t know who is on the map. I want to say a guildie came up with the name on the siege idea and I thought I would post it here.
(edited by Dusty Moon.4382)
I think this is a great outcome Michael and we really appreciate your response time. I just want to clarify a few things. What seems like happened now at this point went like this.
- Earlier in day, Individual drops siege could or could not be related to guild
- Middle of day., Guild comes in and owns it, ticks siege, ports in just before siege decay counter runs out several times. Makes claims about “helping” etc..
-Investigation begins later in day.The false claims thing comes from the behavior the guild took in maintaining the siege, and not as a result of an abuse of the reporting system. I think the reporting system worked perfectly in this situation.
So what could have happened is that a guild just wanted to take advantage of a situation to troll yet not really understand the implications. In hindsight I don’t think they would risk accounts with 14k achievement points.
Thanks again for the fast response!
No – TC is a very, usually tight knit server. The Guild in question came into a server meeting and tried to disrupt it and were thrown out of mumble for being rude and obnoxious. We have screen caps of them saying, we are placing troll siege. ‘Report us because A.Net will do nothing to us’. The guild, I belong to, has screen caps of the whole affair.
Well, it is obvious that A.net won’t deal with them and that is sad.
To the above poster – they didn’t care. They dared the whole server, in map/team chat to report them because A.Net does nothing to trolls. It seems the one we had before, was just a one off case.
I investigated this last night and the claims are false. I found the person that was placing siege and terminated that account.
Also, remember that false reporting can lead to a suspension or termination of your account.
Michael, I have guild mates that have screen caps of them actually taunting A.Net to do something about them. There was 4 of them at one point when I saw them, and they all had Commanders tags up – taunting all of the TC server members.
This is not the one that was taken care of 2 weeks ago, this is a whole new group.
You can PM me in game to get all the information.
A. No need to make solo roaming less viable.
B. No need for more PvE in WvW.
In my opinion, if you want a location held, guard it yourself. It is a realistic expectation. If you ask me, if your not willing to put in the effort to defend it, you do not have a right to complain if you lose it.
I agree – no need to PPT in WvW – EotM already has enough of that.
This game is too CPU intensive for a console game.
How would the server know what’s useless siege or not? What’s to stop the trolls from destroying valuable siege?
If it is a flame ram is anywhere but a gate? Some of the others are a bit more difficult but we need a way to kind of prevent this from happening. I understand that they could desiege but it would be easier to resiege than be capped. With one of these siege trolls, we had over 200 catapults in our Garrison and he made sure he ticked them for 8 hours. That is just ridiculous.
We had one chap, who has been doing this for over 2 yrs to TC and bragging that he was getting supplies from another server that was fighting us. It may or may not be, but he did spend an awful lot of money on siege – either spending his own or who knows – not blaming anyone else.
I am sure other servers have this issue and it needs to be dealt with.
Yesterday in TC, in our own garrison, there was a guild group dropping useless siege (like flame rams on top of walls, etc.) and just basically abusing people in map/team chat. They said they were doing this because A.Net won’t do kitten about them. As a guild we did report them but this is out of control. They were trying to siege cap our map so that no more siege could be placed down.
So a proposal is to have a way to reclaim the supplies in useless siege or just destroy it.
There must be some modifications to the WvW mechanic that can be done to prevent massive blobs. It just makes it impossible for anyone to defend anything when you get 100 people blobbling and rolling over everything.
What can be done to change this phenomenon?
I find it unfair to make WvW players PVE to get map completion!
And PvE players complain that they have to do WvW to get map completion. Get over it – I got it – it wasn’t that hard.
Mounts are a Guild Wars tradition stretching all the way back to the original game, as commemorated by this wonderful mini.
UHH, that is NOT a mount. MOBS don’t count as the rider NEVER GETS OFF THE MOUNT and when you kill the mount/rider – they both die.
There are NO MOUNTS in GW1 that were not situational, like the WURMS in the Desolation. If you got out of the Wurm you died. Also you couldn’t use the Wurm in any other place.
If they put mounts in game they will earn more money thru gem store….
This is almost certainly true. However if they do that, they have to be careful to give people basic mounts in game…only mount “skins” that don’t gave extra speed should be available in the gem store. Not that I suspect mounts are coming, but if they are, you shouldn’t have to pay to get that advantage.
No they won’t get more money – they have a silly mount in the CS and not many people bought it.
Like the armor skins in this game – there is a lot of testing that has to be done since the races are so different. IN AA they are not – they are basically all humanoid – even the ‘cat race’ is basically humanoid with a tail and ears.
The maps in Archeage are much larger than GuildWars so the need for mount is really not nessesery and how will a mount change the way you travel in the game you still have to control the mount the same way you control your charature as you run also Archeage has very few way points or portals to move around in a zone so to get to point to point in any map quickly you need that added speed a mount gives you. Yes mounts would be cool but not practical for GuildWars. It is not part of the GuildWars lore no race in Tyria ever adapted the need to ride on an animals back. The only thing that came close was riding in the worms in GuildWars1.
No about AA – it is about the same size but there is plenty of map in AA where there are no mobs at all – like ESO. I don’t get it.
In GW2 we have plenty of waypoints to get around. WE DON’T NEED MOUNTS.
Chris Whiteside has stated, numerous times, that they’re in the process of hiring more personnel to work on the forums. So, hopefully, things will look up soon and he (and a couple others) won’t be the only ones speaking on the forums.
Raise your hand if you think they should hire me
ducks and runs lol
I’m really sure I read the other week (or thereabouts), someone kinda had you pegged as being in Anet’s employ already.
I personally reckon, with a small bit of training (if that, even), you’d be quite good at handling the forum – whether or not someone agrees with your position on any given thing, you seem quite dedicated, and I respect that.
We just want him be become an A-Net employee because then they’ll force him to not post, lol
Aww, don’t be mean, now!
The chap stands well for what he believes in. I don’t always agree with what he says, but he has, seemingly, the courage of his convictions. Gotta have some respect for that.
I consider it trolling, and a blatant disrespect of others opinions…
disagreeing with criticism is trolling and blatant disrespect, really?
No, but you have to do in a respectful tone. A.Net always said CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM is welcome – negative attitudes and responses are not.
3000 hours, 575 days played, 850g in gambled rares/exotics, no precursor.
So in all seriousness: Is there an estimated timeline for the precursor scavenger hunt? We were told it would be here by end of 2013, it is almost a full year later (over a year after the announcement) and full silence from Anet. Can we get an update on this? Or if it is even on the radar anymore? The prices of pres has gone through the roof, and I after everytime that I gamble away more than 300g in the forge with nothing I contemplate quitting because I’m so upset (I do log out for the night). I’m a loyal customer, but this seems a bit ridiculous.
Not a big deal to me. I have as many hours as you and no precursor either. So what?
This is the very thing I hate in games like this.
why though? It can help you improve ur skills
Not really – it would be used as a way to be ‘LEETIST’ – "sorry you can’t join our group because you only do 99% of the damage the rest of us do’
If we could have 2 classes like in gw1……Omg warrior with cloak and dagger.
Necromancer with minions and guardians spirit weapons at once
What nightmares can you all come up with???
No – I didn’t like it in GW1 and it would make some builds so OP as to be absolutely ridiculous. I don’t want to go back to the imbalance of GW1 – it was a game that could never be balanced as it had to many combinations and too many skills.
What I see here is a bunch of suggestions to merge servers without calling it merged servers.
@Dusty Moon, no, being able to float and defend an objective is IMO a pretty important part of the game. BGBL is boring enough as is, if the TC/SoS forces couldn’t float there in an attempt to catch us off guard or get us off other maps then it’d just be completely dead, and I’d be stuck there twiddling my thumbs hating WvW.
Not really – basically your server is your Alliance. If you cannot plan an Alliance general defense and plan (like what guilds go to what BL and not just blob together) then the balance should or could be there. If your server doesn’t have a cohesive plan or is just so big it only cares about numbers in a blob COUGH BG COUGH then maybe it is time you have one.
Complaining about clipping in GW2 while referencing GW1 is quite silly. Despite the fact that GW1 only had one race to build their armors for, the clipping there is quite massive, after almost 10 years.
And just porting armors over doesn’t really work either, seeing as they would have to completely rebuild them and change them to fit all races, which is quite large amount of work.
So true about clipping in GW1 it was awful and with capes it was even worse. Here is one clipping problem on Elite cabalist armor – it is dreadful. I had my toon sit so it can be seen better.
(edited by Dusty Moon.4382)
No it isn’t. There have been many instances of players pretending to be GM’s and abusing other players.
Simple – only allow a certain number of players in from each server into a specific BL at a time and have a timer on the player so they can’t jump at will between the BL’s. This is what is happening now – blobs are transferring and to try to avoid fights – I think once a player is in a BL, except for EotM, then they need to be in that BL for an hour in game time – for each 24 hr period.
OR
Only allow a player ONE BL each 24 hr period. Once in – they are stuck.
If you don’t check, you don’t know, as I said previously. I mean I have been playing with Oceanic players and also from players Australia and they have not complained of the lag spikes (I am US based). Now, you would think that we would have issues being from different areas, etc. but that is not the case.
Y’all can be as condescending, if you want, but it doesn’t push forward this discussion. As I said, there may well be a issue with the game, but I haven’t seen it and the people I have been playing WvW don’t see it either.
… like this:
- Lord goes down into downed state with downed health.
- He can’t be stomped.
- If he loses all downed health he dies so that only a hard res gets him back up.
- Each time he’s bannered and goes down, it’s with less downed health.
- This is more or less exactly how it works with players so I’m guessing it should be doable with minimal dev effort.
- Bonus feature: all professions should be able to get him up using their “banner” skill (previously, mesmer’s skill, for example, didn’t work).
Lords room fights with (non-infinte) bannering were often fun and exciting. Why nerf into oblivion?
Oh, and get rid of siege disablers, but that’s a story for another thread.
The bannering of the lord was annoying. I mean one warrior could run in and banner the lord (sacrifice res) and this fight continues on. It was annoying and not realistic. it was a bag farm. That was the reason to get rid of it. You didn’t need to have 2 groups fighting, just have one warrior run in – res and just when the Lord is down again – res again. This made the WvW more of a karma train because the groups didn’t really have to fight each other.
What it means now is that you HAVE to guard and upgrade your keeps. This makes the battles more intense and fun. I guess we have different ideas of fun – yes, the siege disablers are annoying but both sides can use them (so it is a moot point – gives time to get defenders together).
I’ve been playing with this lately and its insane.
Swap out Viper’s nest for Signet of renewal if you need, I personally only use Sigil of cleansing and it works fine for me.
The only duel I lost against was a perma torment scepter mesmer (which is incredibly overpowered if played right).
EDIT People tend to accuse you of hacks because they are not aware that trapper runes exist, LOL. Happened to me twice yesterday. Sweet, sweet tears.
Well, you can’t have 2 of the similar runes on your weapons. Your longbow is setup that way and they negate each other.
(edited by Dusty Moon.4382)
I agree with you completely. That’s all I wanted to say. This IS the truth.
Truth is relative to the person deciding it is the truth. What may the truth to one person is not the truth to another.
I am leveling a new character and I don’t find any of the annoyances that others have. It is just a different way of doing things is all.
This is happening to other servers not just mine.
Jax: “Ok guild the new Swiss style tournament starts today in WvW, any questions before we join in?”
First time tournament player: “Jax what happens if the other two servers team up and play together against us?”
Jax:" That has happened in other tournaments but Anet know about it so I don’t think that will happen this time, and anyway who wants to win by cheating, that wouldn’t be fair."Swiss style tournament week 1
Server A: “Lets team up with server B to beat server C.”
Server B: “Lets team up with server A to beat server C.”
Server C: “Lets hope this time there is no cheating.”First time tournament player: “Jax you said that the two servers wouldn’t join up to beat us!”
Jax: “That was just bad luck on our part to be against two servers who could only win by cheating.”Swiss style tournament week 2
Server A: “Lets team up with server B to beat server C.”
Server B: “Lets team up with server A to beat server C.”
Server C: “Going to be more fun this week as the severs won’t team up against us this time.”First time tournament player: “Jax you said!”
Jax: “I know I just didn’t think it would happen twice.”Swiss style tournament week 3
Server A: “Lets team up with server B to beat server C.”
Server B: “Lets team up with server A to beat server C.”
Server C: “I think the servers will play fair this week.”First time tournament player: “Jaaax!”
Jax: " I know, but maybe in week four we will get servers who don;t want to cheat to win."
There is nothing wrong with that. A.Net has been surprised more of this doesn’t happen.
Hence why are doing Alliances in the near future….
I am having no issues. They can’t fix what is kittenly happens to some players. Please check your connection, the number of hops to the game server, any problems in between AND if your ISP is not throttling. All of this can cause issues.
Not saying there isn’t a problem with the servers but if the servers were bad ALL players would have the issue.
Take your pick:
-It would be too confusing to new players.
-It doesn’t fit in with the living story.
-It’s definitely not off the table.
In all likelihood, we probably will have something for Halloween. I’m just bitter.
Please, then, keep the bitterness out of your comments. It helps no one most of all you.
The Halloween event follows Mad King Thorn, which is part of the lore of Tyria. Just as Wintersday is.
The game felt so huge.
By the time I bought it, the EOTN had been released. I played all the way from the northernmost edge in Jaga Morraine down to the southernmost areas in Cantha, all across the parched plains of Elona and up to again the endlessly burning forests of the Charr area.
I miss the scale and scope of the dungeons. Not cramped rooms filled with seemingly endless trash mobs but whole maps in their own right where you carefully maneuvered among the mobs, taking them out one by one. (And the Dreadspawn Maw in the Domain of Anguish, aka DoA or Dead on Arrival, scared the spit out of me by coming out of the ground right beside me the first time I was there). The Guild Wars 2 dungeons don’t evoke the same feelings of battling dangerous foes.
By comparison, Guild Wars 2 feels so much smaller.
Keep in mind, I was able to finish all four Guild Wars 1 titles in a single week once.
I was talking about moving across the landscape and how big it felt. How big the dungeons were and how hard to fight the individual mobs were. Not whether one person could finish the game fast if they wanted to.
Guild Wars 1 (not dungeons the world) gave the illusion of size by limiting where you could and couldn’t go. It felt big because you could never go in a straight line to anywhere. You snaked back and forth on a path or one of a couple of paths through a large zone that was mostly inaccessible.
Take a look at the area north of Piken Square. It’s not really that big. But it’s very very hard to navigate. The illusion of size.
Oh I know all that. I didn’t say they were bigger, I said they gw1 felt bigger. And it still does, Guild Wars 1 gives the illusion of more space by being spread out across a bigger potion of the known maps. By having Elona and Cantha, the Crystal Desert and the far north. By having the ring of fire and the huge dungeons that were whole maps in their own right.
There may be more map to Guild Wars 2 but it feels much more limited in size without the other continents and the large dungeons.
You did say this is a thread about nostalgia and this is what I feel nostalgic for.
GW1 maps was way bigger ..time how long it takes to cross a map in gws 1 vs gws 2….the maps was/ are huge vs the maps of gws 2
They are the same – LOL there is no difference in the size, except that GW1 you had the map instance for your party only. It is a fake difference. Also you had to fight your way through the maps – that makes it feel different also. Having more people on a map makes it feel smaller also.
The maps are the same size. Don’t believe me – http://zoom.it/TWLx#full
GW1 is bigger, they had to shrink the GW1 map to make the GW2 map fit.
also, your link only adds icons on the GW2 map, it doesn’t prove anything. Is this an opinion or can you back that up with evidence?
i can but i need to make it from scratch, can’t find the LA from before….
If you have to make it up – then there is no evidence – anyone can fake it. If there was a discussion on GW1 being bigger than GW2, there would have been threads about it all over the place.
The game felt so huge.

funny place :>, if invulnerability spots are fine and never get patched that is valid to.
If place where cata do not need to hit tower/keep walls or not even close to it, this place must be valid to.~Just saying…
Invulnerability spots – you are not supposed to be able to place any siege equipment there. If you can, then it is a bug and needs to be reported. A.Net can’t fix what isn’t reported.

There is some funkiness I notice but still plays better than before the 9/9 patch. I think there is a problem with the interweb itself.
If GW2 is not working then why has it out lasted 2 major mmorpg that play a lot like it? GW1 at the end of the day was not a true mmorpg it was an online game with co-op GW2 is a full open world mmorpg there are just truth to dealing with that type of game vs just the simple “also has online play” type of game.
What 2 major MMO’s? And GW1 is still the #1 game that’s 10X better than GW2 even if it’s NOT an MMO.
LOL -GW2 IS AN MMO – GW1 is NOT. An MMO – (Massive Multiplayer Online) – means just that – there are plenty of people on the maps. In GW1, all you had was your team on the map – that does not fit the description of an MMO.
With GW1, you were not at the whim of a team, while GW2 you are especially in WvW and major events. I liked GW1, but GW2 is a much better game than GW1 ever was.
As the title says, in the last days we are “almost all” experiencing lag, that makes our skill sparkle but not activate and makes us die in many horrible ways..
I’ve been asking if it was just me (and my group) but i’ve been answered by many many many many others people that things are not okay from some days…
Someone says that servers are busy because of the wvwvw new season but i doubt it’s the reason..Obviously we already tested our connection and it was perfect (www.speedtest.net)
With someone in my guild we also tried out some other games like Blacklight and Aion and it works perfectly, no lag, no issue, while in the same time, gw2 lags.
It may be between you and the game server (which is in Dallas, TX if you are in the states). Speedtest only checks one jump not the multiple jumps it takes to get to the game server. Meaning, it doesn’t mean your connection is fine.
Use something like Pingplotter and check to account.guildwars.com you will see where your issues are. It will look something like this -

outside of ebg and eotm… blobs are not that much of a problem anymore. People might talking about blob this and the other but most of the time it is only 20 people.
While I appreciate the sentiment of the idea… the biggest problem I see is that it would punish people who rush to defend garrison or ebg keep. The enemy server could attack several places at once with groups of 10-20 players and the defenders would be punished even if they are actually outnumbered.
In Tier 1 servers, it WOULD be a useful idea. There are so many blobs running around, it is insane. I would say, it the number is more than 20, the trap would be sprung and immobilize for X amount of time and cannot be cleansed.
There was a reason that A.Net nerfed adrenaline for Warriors as they were more OP then other professions.
I do not thing it will be changed – but this should be in the Warrior forum.
Don’t forget what is coming up in game soon………..
But you can’t really ignore the fact that LS2 is repeatable for all characters, including ones made after LS 2 started.
Yes you can. The content is barely worth doing once, and having to repeat it for achievements was tedious. It’s certainly not worth repeating on other toons.
Oh boy, lets run around and talk to a bunch of people at a dinner party in DR!! Such repeatable content so much wow.
Then why even play after making one character. You will be doing the same for the newer ones. Your argument has too much negative attitude to be valuable here.
Copied and modified from a previous post I made back a month ago:
From the latest Raptr stats:
http://caas.raptr.com/most-played-pc-games-july-2014-summers-winners-and-losers/
GW2 is in the top 20 list!People say only a small number of people use these 3rd party apps and wrong, etc, however look at the relative percentages to the other games within the stats, then compare with the Steam stats:
http://store.steampowered.com/stats/
Beware not all the games in the Raptr list is in the Steam list because those games aren’t released on Steam.(At the time of last month) You’ll notice eg. DOTA2 ~2-3 times the numbers of Counter Strike, CS ~4 times higher than Civ 4, etc, so the Raptr stats do seem to provide a reasonable estimate in terms of relative positions.
Now looking at where GW2 lies in the Raptr ranking, it’s about the same as Garry’s Mod, Civ4, Skyrim, so looking at those games concurrency, you get peak of ~50k-60k and normal of ~20-30k, so GW2 is probably around those number, so it’s fairly small.TLDR: GW2 concurrency is probably around the same as in Garry’s Mod, Civ4, Skyrim on Steam.
There’s an updated Raptr.
I’m in the boat that doesn’t believe 3rd party applications are a good way to measure players. If anything I would base popularity off of twitch.tv, that’s even the site that Arenanet directs its players to.
I never believe RAPTR numbers because it only counts people who have RAPTR installed. Some games actually install RAPTR when you install the game so their numbers are inflated over others. I look at the WvW map queues as a clue that this game is doing well.
You do know that poster run polls, on this forum are against the rules?
This thread will more than likely be blocked.
… sigh …
Jan 21 – Apr 14: End of LS1
Apr 15: First Feature Pack
May 20th – Jun 30th: Festival of the Four Winds
Jul 1 – Aug 26+: LS2 Part 1
Sept 9: Feature Pack 2You really shouldn’t make up stuff that can be so easily disputed. 3 month breaks? 4 to 5 months between living story?
First off, I said new content, not rehashed content or features. So features packs nor rehashed festivals/holidays don’t count. The first feature pack was quite good, the 2nd was no doubt smaller.
He countered your argument and now you are redefining your argument so you are right and he is wrong. Sorry, that ship just doesn’t float.
It is NOT rehashed content also.
I have Keyboard Razer Black Widow Ultimate and there are Buttoms “M1 M2 M3 M4 M5”
i cant set m1 to do “22 33 1 4 2 1 64 12 9” for a song in a musical instrument?
or like my Razer Ouroboros with 7 buttons? i cant make 4th button to be 7 8 9?(all utilities?) what kind of benefit i can have from that upon other players?
or M2 for f1 f2 f3 f4? wtf is this? why am i not allowed i spent so much money on my pc gear to play a game that tells me i cant use them?
As the other poster said, When you logged into the game, you had to say OK to the EULA. Read it, just don’t think that you can do anything you want because you spent money on hardware.
The rule of A.Net is 1 key = one action (this includes MACROS). So, by using macros on your keyboard you violate the EULA and get a permaban from the game.
The old phrase is true – reading is fundamental.
There is more to Necro’s than MM. Even in GW1, minions were often more of a pain to use than they were worth. I try not to use ANY minions – it makes it easier to play. I wish Rangers had that option.
when will Necromancers Minions be fixed? Can i get some time frame here? they keep despawning all the time. The despawning problem is so bad i can’t play my Necromancer, without fear of minions disappearing, and since they are the bulk of my damage no minions normally means my character dies.
Do like I do, play without minions. Minions end up being a crutch anyway.
Also, make sure your stats give minions more HP – some of them will die quickly w/o it.
I have seen necros play with all the minions and nothing like you are describing happens.
