Halloween expansion confirmed
Dodgy Crowd is pretty easy.
When he summons the stone elementals, cast the #2 utility, aka the spike-trap thing that cripples and bleeds them, lead them through it and begin to spin around using #5 skill, they die fast.
Use the elite skill stealth and spam 1 on the boss (stand behind) and you will backstab him for loads. Repeat until the boss is dead.
Remember the earth elementals spawns the quicksand thing, so don’t stand in it, the air walls also appear at random, but they are so slow and easy to see, and you can dodge through them too.
I thought Trahearne was decent, I didn’t actually notice much of his “taking my glory omg” or anything silly like that, that people blame him for.
People said his voice acting was stale and lame, but I kind of liked it, just because of the stale way he is. He got this big purpose but he’s got a hard time to express it or something.
That’s kind of how I imagined Sylvari to be, being such a young race, born into ‘’adults.’’
Whatever it is, I feel pretty sure that it will not be an announcement of an expansion pack that we are used to, as in, the usual box you pay for to install loads of content.
Might be neat…
But frankly, I don’t wanna walk into a city a see a ton rule34 RPing with a crowd of level 1’s.
Lol rule34 has nothing to do with children.
Rule 34: If it exists, there is porn for it. No exceptions.
So I’ll be clear:
I don’t wanna walk into a city an see a crowd of level 1’s ERPing.
I’m not that big on the RP front in Guild Wars 2, but how likely is it to actually find people doing ERP in major cities? The emotes system is almost like, map wide.
People would surely always do it in their personal home instance.
You’ve clearly never been to Divinity’s Reach.
I got the Royal Pass, so, I spend my time there pretty much all the time.
But I don’t play on Piken Square or Tarnished Coast.

Thieves are built to get away whenever they please, which has been a problem in every game with every kind of stealth class, and it’s always the same boring feeling when you are up against one.
Just sad that, you know… Scarlet made the race more unbearable.
A year later and I still do not agree.
Scarlet was a character I liked… I want more.
To be honest, I would have liked her more if she somehow got corrupted by Mordremoth before she went out being all smart and aced every Asura test. Like, it was actually Mordremoth him/her/itself that WAS Scarlet, showing the knowledge of the Elder Dragons, and helped him/her/itself to wake up faster.
But no, the story was going on lame tracks instead.
I haven’t seen anyone using these, actually.
You haven’t been playing much, then.
Well, yeah. I kind of quit for 2 – 4 months because of lack of interesting content, and returned just recently and have been playing for 2 weeks now or so.
Just sad that, you know… Scarlet made the race more unbearable.
Abyss and Celestial Dye
I haven’t seen anyone using these, actually.
I’m addicted to Rune of the Traveler or Rune of Speed on my Guardian.
I cannot not have it.
The content is not enough, indeed.
What annoys me more is people throwing the word “racism” around at everything that just doesn’t seem “fair”
Even if Arena Net is working on an expansion, I highly doubt we’ll heading back to Cantha or Elona, because, you know, Guild Wars 2 takes everything we loved about Guild Wars 1 and throws it out of the window.
Except that it took us back to glint’s lair and a lot of people loved it.
Maybe you aren’t playing the same game I am.
Not that the Glint’s Lair in Guild Wars 2 is anything similar to Glint’s Lair in original Guild Wars.
The only similarity is that it was just made out of crystals, nothing more, nothing less. There is no worldmark or anything that existed in previous game that we would see in Guild Wars 2’s Glint’s Lair.
!!!!!!!!!?????
Didn’t Tome of Courage have stability in early stages of the game?
Or they make Quaggan a playable race. CooooOOOoooo!
Ugh, no.
People come up with the most stupid race suggestions as well, like quaggan, hylek, kodan and skritt.
Everything ArenaNet puts out on Facebook, Tumblr, Reddit, and whatever more sites they use, is always to hype the playerbase up.
I believe this art means nothing special, it’s just a nice piece of art, nothing more, nothing less.
Some legendaries doesn’t even have a footfall, or an aura.
Something to do with Glint’s egg.
Zone vanquishing.
While I agree that something like this would be nice, it could never be in GW2.
Zones are not instanced and would create issues if players could. Enemies are spread out and absolutely no where as difficult as they are in GW1.
Sit down and think some, really. You seem to be limiting yourself far too much.
ArenaNet got solo-instance technology that they use in personal story and living story instances. How hard can it be to make a solo-instanced map, with a little bit harder mobs in?
Full beardzerker.
Zone vanquishing.
Oh well, kitten . That funny character concept went down the drain.
I got the name Thomas Mutton, so I wanted to have the Noble Count outfit together with the Inventor’s Sunglasses.
At least it doesn’t have the looping sound bug anymore.
I know with Mad King’s outfit and that Wintersday outfit you can either show or hide the helmet.
But it looks like Noble Count Outfit doesn’t have a helmet, are you able to show the helmet you got equipped on your equipment, or not?
Someone who got it that can check?
I think it’s pretty boring to see greatswords. Sunrise, Twilight and Eternity… you see those three everywhere. I don’t really hate then, but it feels so ’’meh’’ to see them, and I actually kind of feel sorry for those who crafted them.
The guardian elite skills Tome of Wrath and Tome of Courage are seriously the coolest and best looking elite skills in the game.
When aegis destroys your shields~
Justguardianthings.
I have my quarrels with this game, but the least thing you have to worry about is the population.
Sometimes I even wonder how there can be this many players still.
Some professions would be able to abuse this.
What if a thief ends up 1vs1 against someone, it’s not going in his favour so he stealths and tries to get out of combat, to change to something else and then attack again.
The gold sellers I have seen got reall bad prices compared to ArenaNet’s own gem to gold service.
I don’t even know why.
Favourite.
The Flameseeker Prophecies
Why? Only legendary with some kind of lore, and the lore behind it is huge. It’s also seriously so detailed and the book is written in New Krytan, a text that can be translated, which are quotes from an NPC from original Guild Wars. The name itself is the name of the whole original Guild Wars: Prophecies game.
Disliked.
Twilight
Sunrise
Eternity
Why? Because everyone and their mother and grandma runs around with one. You don’t even get the “Whoa” feeling when you see them. There’s also no story behind them at all.
Honorable mentions.
Rodgort
Meteorlogicus
Why? Got very little lore behind them, that’s something at least.

Not until after January 13th I think it was. Can’t remember the exact date but that’s when Wintersday ends.
While we’re at it…

Pour yourself in the awesome work of Leif and Maclaine.
Too many bug fixes to be true.
The guardian change looked very legit though.
Is there really any reason to make public who the forum specialist are since they mostly are there to report back to ANet? I don’t see why someone needs a tag for that. Having a tag opens up possibilities of them being constantly harassed about being white knights and ANet toadies. Imo, it would be better not to have people publicly labeled as being “semi official” when they have no official function other than collate information and report or linking official posts (which anyone can do).
That is a really thought-provoking comment!
What do others feel about this? I’m very interested in feedback on the subject of making specialists public or not.
I agree with Astral Projections on this.
I mean, sure, having some sort of tag by your name or something similar always looks nice, and it will be easier for other forum posters to see that these posters are serious in what they are doing and their opinions/ideas can be worth reading, and that they are helpful.
But, it can (and sadly, probably will if so) lead to some sort of harassment. People will be called the usual stuff like white knights, ArenaNet pets and whatnot.
A tag by the name is cool and all, but, really, it’s the content and the structure of the post that counts, and there will be many great posters, without a FS tag, that could get burrowed because of that.
In my opinion, every post in a thread should be read (to some degree at least, it’s obviously too time consuming if there is a thread going with over 30 pages) and I can look at myself in the past jumping into threads, only reading the “FS” posts and disregarding everything else, as well as seeing these posters getting harassed.
So, yeah, having a tag on your existing account is something I would recommend not to have. Having a second account sounds troublesome too, having to change and whatnot.

If Guild Wars 2 gets raiding, it should be Guild Wars 2 style of raiding, as in something different compared to raiding in World of Warcraft.
I think guild puzzles were a great start. Now they just need to make it even bigger and longer to complete, with unique rewards, and perhaps some boss fights to some degree and whatnot.
What would the total cost be for this achievement?
Could most likely be a bug and (while being a boring response) you should report this to ArenaNet.
Most likely a waste of space, but it could also be a fun memento, a rare thing that sits there to remind you how it was, and that you got it.
It’s just fun to have such stuff, and I got some of those too.
While we don’t know how Sohothin got to Rytlock, wasn’t there something about an Asura that Rytlock “owes a favour” or something similar?
Sadly, not at all.
Maybe a build for kitten and giggles but nothing more. I like the idea of spirit weapons too, bu they aren’t good enough.
1. I don’t know why people say there is any gemstore-locked content. The living story episodes you missed is the only think I can think of, and since gems can be purchased with gold you don’t even need to spend real money.
I cringe everytime I see someone mentioning this. “Gems can just be purchased with gold.” Yeah, getting 200 gems cost around 30 gold, that’s a lot, and average player runs around with 100 gold max.
You can’t get kitten from the store with your gold, it just costs far too much. That being said, you don’t need to spend real cash, but the option almost forces you to take that option before the other.
Make it a cultural armour for human.
