The Zephyrites had precious little exposition, so I never grew interested in them.
That’s my take on it and the area in general, however it did have nice ambiance.
People hate blobbing/imbalance/boring/stale matchups but they still keep on stacking as much as possible, then blame ANET and/or their foes. lol
ANet can look at ways to moderate peoples innate tendencies or not. At the end of the day its just a game and if people are unhappy playing it, they will leave.
People will pay twice as much for easy wins and stale matchups.
Whether its stacking tier 1 or people moving to tier 2 for fights its all gem sales for ANet.
Either way they make money from changing absolutely nothing.

Anger gets you suspended and placed on a posting spam list.
The rating points should just be reset.
The forums blew up with people stating they didn’t want that when it was originally announced. It would result in many weeks of PvD before it settled down to what it is more or less now anyways.
We’ve already been down the road of more match up volatility and it didn’t work. Matches were lopsided and were ultimately a blow out.
The only thing worse than getting bored fighting the same people again and again is being unable to fight at all because your dominating/being dominated.
Anet doesn’t seem to prioritize underwater stuff much. Nor do the players for that matter. So it gets neglected most of the time new stuff is added.
Underwater combat was removed from PvP completely.
I think it’s safe to say that ANet wont look to develop underwater combat further.
I always stand aside and watch. I only get involved if the ally is downed and the other party goes in for the stomp or if other enemies get involved. Best of both I guess. There simply isn’t time to ask or get an answer in most duels.
That’s pretty much my take on it, but even that backfires.
I came across a 1v1 once and my ally was getting beaten pretty bad by a warr but i let it go. Suddenly a hero thief came in and finished off my ally then he and the warr both turned on me.
If you want ‘fair’ fights go PvP, anything else is fair game.
SUPR transferred to Seafarers Rest in the EU.
Did Zeke go with them? He was funny.
+1 OP
I’ve done many a wall of text
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/Precursor-Rage/first
showing my disgust with current legendary acquisition.
There is nothing legendary about legendaries.
EDIT: To answer some of your questions.
I have no interest in getting one.
I enjoy my time in WvW. I have a great guild with great players who I enjoy raiding with daily. This is why I play GW2.
(edited by FearedbytheGods.8617)
that was obvious …
Oh it is. Just watching you forum stalk me after I called you out for using your wife’s account to back up your argument made me lol.
Was torn between the staff or scepter.
I really liked the scepter and I have enough staff skins as it is but I hardly ever use a scepter.

You don’t have to listen to my opinion, nor reply to it.
OK … works for me.
We’ll assume you did 1 of 2.
You should be able to transfer back to a NA server and speak to the Battle Historian there to retrieve your rewards.
I read that and literally just went wide eyed and thought ‘Did you just say what i think you said?’
That comment for me just shows a huge disconnect between players and developers.
thx Tura
There’s an update coming the 17th, my guess is were going to get spikes of bad lag on and off till then.
What makes you think an update is going to fix lag when none of the previous ones ever have?
You don’t understand.
The lag most of us are experiencing (guild/map chat) is not associated with what we typically experience for lag.
Therefore, as previously stated, ‘my guess’ is its associated with the update that will specifically address WvW issues (tournament rewards).
Henceforth it won’t save people from issues typically faced with lag (huge zerg fights), but it will stop random acts of lag.
However, once again reiterating to you, this is ‘my’ best guess. You don’t have to listen to my opinion, nor reply to it.
I’ve submitted a request to support but just wanted some quick feedback here.
Under account security there’s a section for current logins. Under this I see 2 current logins. One of them is AU (Australia) address but I also see a TX, US address.
Why do I see 2 current addresses and is this a concern?

Queens Gauntlet. The only update where there was a legitimate challenge, and the satisfaction gained from that.
No huge world boss that was a sponge for auto attack.
It is a troll post.
Anyone who knows the OP knows that his persistence is matched only by his intensity.
Think along the lines of an annoying fly that wont go away or a mosquito that wont let you sleep and you’ll come close.
Do you have nothing better to do? S1 rewards were terrible, move on already.
They were terrible, but that’s not the point, it’s the principle. Your statement is ignorant to that fact and assuming you got your S1 reward, it makes your statement annoying to.
And yes i got mine.
Hi Devon, how have you been?
You can still use the festive scraps (if you have enough)
I don’t have enough, but I still hold onto them.
The silence is deafening.
30-50 man balls to exploit the AoE hitting only 5 people mechanic
That’s still around
and the rendering issues
That was solved.
as well as the abuse of garrison seagate bypass and mesmers glitching through terain on purpose.
Some glitches were fixed, most are still there.
winning by exploiting broken game mechanics that aren’t functioning the right way.
EU had an invisible unknown player on (server name) who went around unchallenged the entire S2 tournament attacking people (literally you read ‘hit by unknown player’). Trollers and siege cappers have added to the mix.
it’s just not fun seeing zerging, flyhacks and exploits over and over again.
Orbs are gone so you don’t see the flyhackers (but they are still there). Tier 1 u still see huge zerg balls and tier 2 as well but to a lesser extent.
In addition everyone who knows WvW knows that coverage wins the ppt game that’s not changed.
EotM would be new to you, ANet class it as WvW but most WvW players dont see it that way. Its more a PvE Karma train with some PvP.
The ruins will be new to u, honestly it did mix up the meta to an extent. People actively cap it and defend it but it made WvW even more unbalanced (pushing ppl towards PvP).
Hope that helps.

I enjoy turrets in PvP but that’s because I’ve wanted turrets to be a thing since release and now they’re actually useful. I know some complain that AI does all the work.
Having said that I still think they are weak for most PvE encounters unless its a stationary boss/mob or its a dungeon/area you’re familiar with.
Some form of mobility would make Turrets much more viable in PvE, even if limited mobility.
I’m wanting to use it specifically with spectral wall. Whats the longest possible duration that can be achieved with fear once you factor in traits/runes/sigils/food etc
Thanks.
Ok honestly, every company running MMO game becomes greedy, sooner or later.
Tbh I think GW2 is still better than most.
With Mike O’Brien in charge and people like Colin Johanson at ANet still running things I think ANet still has a long way to go before it falls of the tree. Having said that if there was a major hierarchical restructure I’d be following closely to see the direction they went.
ANet has changed a lot since its GW1 days.
You should get some tittle, i like tittle as well.
Fixed.
Spoil Sport
You should get some tittle, i like tittle as well.
I did look once I saw your quote and said “What”
Out loud or did you mouth the word?
He didn’t say he was an Anet dev…
Oh your good, that’s why i used a ‘?’ which determines a question was being asked. Not that I realistically expect an answer because if you’d read further you’d know i was curious about the disproportionate responses.
Actually, i’m a dev myself
An ANet dev on his personal account?
Why are you so insistent to forum lerk and call people out at every opportunity.
You enthusiasm seems disproportionate to your intentions otherwise.
EDIT: OP updated his post.

One way to make this achievement SUPER EASY is to take a guardian with wall of reflection and shield of the avenger which prevents the meat from hitting the ground and therefore disappears.
I was able to complete after only a couple of tries with this method.
What’s more, in SPvP there is no power creep: no guard leech, no applied fortitude, no food buffs, no sigil stacking, no ascended (usually used by PvE players to migitate their lack of skill).
Yes the PvP team has worked hard to try and get people out of WvW and into PvP.
Sledging trolls only allowed?
I think I was down to 150 Gold in my bank.
FYI 150g is a lot to many players in GW2.
Further more gold in bank wouldn’t include your other investments either and how much they add up to. I’m sure your finances are just fine.
It seems you’re the one not understanding.
No you are? -.-
Did you even read his post.
I honestly don’t understand why the forums are so obsessed with esports.
I saw someone link you a post once where JP had stated that they sat around at lunch discussing how GW2 could become an e-sport. You then made some silly crack about how it was off topic and were going to ask the thread be closed….
If your going to stick your head in the sand you’ll never understand this ‘obsession’, as you like to call it.
The truth is the community talks about because they said it.
Theres something wrong with both ends in this community.
Fair enough, having said that from what I gather most official forums are pretty toxic so any games developer should be aware of what they are getting themselves into.
The CDI’s were a great way to engage the community and get some sort of healthy dialogue from both sides and avoid silence on one end and “WAAAAA I’m not happy” on the other. But even they were left up in the air, it’ll be interesting what happens with the next one.
You just lost thousands of Gold because your speculations were wrong.
Given u like to post in the blt threads so much I assume you also have read the threads that point out there’s not a real risk involved to make gold from TP Flipping.
Sure you can speculate and try and win big but there’s always the safe bet. TP Flipping is not the daring ‘make or break’ you’d like to make people think you undertake.
I was thinking permanent but having read this thread I’ve reconsidered.
I like the idea of it being a seasonal thing or on some kind of rotation once its ‘run its course’ so to speak.
Wanted to bump this since it’s full of helpful tips for those who haven’t beaten her yet.
GJ thinking of others <3
The fact you CANNOT provide COUNTER arguments to my own shows where the VACCUUM is
Your POSTS remind ME of A roller COASTER.
New players will likely ask seasoned players and they’d give them a value judgement on the content. So this motivates ANet to produce quality content.
I think that pretty much nails it.
People who play the content will get it for free and are then in a position to comment if its worth 200gems for those that come later.
In any event I’d like to applaud the majority of posters in this thread for their maturity and keeping a healthy perspective.
I think the community needs to brainstorm some ideas.
We should organise another CDI, I love CDI, CDI is amazing. Yes, CDI, CDI, CDI….
Sorry.
I really just wanted to type ‘CDI’.

GW2 Truth/Anet/Devs/WvW/ESport/GVG/Leaks/Reveals
I’m genuinely surprised by the amount of people that haven’t seen it or even worse that started to watch, got 5 mins into it and decided “I don’t get it”. It single handily gave me the greatest insight into ANet politics and attitude towards WvW.
It even gave you secondary information into why, for example, we were given a skyhammer styled EotM. /facepalm
Anyways, most people on this forum already know the status quo of WvW, Sacrx just gives you the why.
If ever there is a craftable precursor, I wish it named Aidenwolf.
