I personally think they should have switched land/underwater life blasts (ofc dmg modified to say same)
-in water its slower, but has a condi transfer every 1,5s
-on land its faster, so it works better with might and vuln traits and isnt blind countered by 4/8 classes, again double speed means half dmg per hit so it stays same

This one is the worst actually.
Like im always negative and post exagerated clickbait titles, but todays nerfs are worthless. tiny nerfs to stuff nobody uses so not 1/1000 change in reality (beside unholy martyr)
It is actually a great patch with
-mesmer mirror blade nerf (will hit u now 2x instead of 3x times), blind on shatter still kittens us up but at least it doesnt go through evades anymore
-rampage nerfed – get liched
The only problem is with this, they solidified their opinion on blind+chill trait, making well of darkness useless and one less potential synergie on future gs#4 skill nightfall.

First, revenant was laughable weak before. I tried all semi viable necro builds against it, even stood still often and just tried to find a scenario where revenant would either win, or live long enough to be a worthy bunker/support.
The conclusion was maaaybe with buffs it could be a bad 2nd bunker.
But now, GREAT BUFFS, they were needed. Look forward to test again.
Some concerns:
- weapon skill were introduced with lower CD exactly because no swapping. I also trust in faster casts, so please keep them balanced, maybe with energy – We dont want another Engie rifle#4
- Shiro#7 , how spammable the stunbreak evade is?
- Condi overload , i know everything needs a weakness, it just seems that you can often pressure the revenant into his defensive legend/set , and having free damage on him for next 10s
I do have necro salt however, basicaly perma vulnerabilty for higher normal hit siphons than necro with 2x traits (yes i know the math and that you do go higher with wells signets aoes, just saying it was a “uh sigh” moment.)
And Elite Jade 3s stun being a steroid version of previewed necro elite shout (scrap the cast shout on all but elite and lower CDs significantly please, also traited could be 15%+5+5+5… reduction not 7+7+7 for more constant scaling).

staff + dagger / x non surprisingly the only real weapons poeple use.
Beside specific utility improvemnts (aka spectral grasp stoping to fail 70%), we really need weapon skill improvements, namely a ranged power set.
You always need to write which region (NA or EU) you are.
Alos stuff like number of total ranked games played may help getting poeple interested

Apex predator for other zerkers, stealth and decap bot. Not op in fighting atm, could get replaced even by good mesmer. Mes/ele are actual top1-2, i just wrote thief first cz 98/100 serious pvp teams in all 3 years had thief. Why? Cz teef
2) mesmer.
Currently very OP.
3) ele.
Currently OP for 2v1 holding, with very high escape chance. Stacking 2x eles is legit comp
Burning dmg also stronk but it mostly helps necros and can be smally tweaked
4) guard
Classic bunker guard – nothing wrong with it tho. Quickness shout quite strong. Its stronger if other zerkers are strong, weaker if cele meta is king. Currently theres thief/mesmer/rampage zerkers that are worth supporting.
5) Rampage.
Previously class called warrior.
6) engie
Not op as many thought it would be. If rampage gets balanced, it should overtake its 5th spot or stay in the same tier boat with it. Not yet settled, can be higher but not lower
7) necro
Cele necro – good 1v1 , but takes 1min to win fight while it can die in 5-10s without elite. Zero team support, good dmg and boon/condi pressure, gets focused in teamfight.
Bunker necro (honorable mention cz it got reworked from trash to actually fun and almost good) – still too little team support beside being a sponge.
8) ranger
Power ranger = a mesmer who traded everything for 300 more range
Condi ranger = more dmg, more survival, but again 0 support and unique stuff compared to cele ele/engie
Ill write team roles , this should help you see that even with the exceptions of some players taking a build and making a good team comp, ask yourself if a equaly skiled player of another class would do that role (or more) better, easier, on lower cd or with less risk?
Team roles:
1) support: heal, cleanse, rezz/stomp with stability, blind or transform, CC for peels, interupts, setting up burst or keeping cc chain
2) mobility. Simply get somewhere fast. NOW
3) damage and pressure
-burst dmg (direct or condi)
-constant sustainec dmg (direct or condi)
-aoe cleave
-pressure to make enemy spend their cooldowns (example corupt boon or spite signet on power necro – it doesnt do much dmg and the cripple alone isnt a perfect setup, but it 100% forces a big cleanse or retreat from enemy)
4) specific counter to enemy

Why, its not even been a year.
Short answer is thief is bad in equal XvX fights, but is super good at +1 ing fights.
So 1 thief has been a no way around must for any team since forever, 2x thieves just try do same one thing and one gets stuck in equal fight or insta dies and noone can rezz or u cant hold any nodes.
It is probably the worst 2x classes stacking combo u can get, even tho stuff like necro/rangers are trash tier compared to thief.
The most annoying thing after the patch are Necromancers with Unholy Sanctuary. That trait that has them enter Death Shroud if Life Force is above 10% when they would take lethal damage is a complete pain.
Even if they are geared to do a lot of damage, I still feel like they have 3 health bars.
Some Necromancers open with Death Shroud, so you have to deal with that. After you wipe out that Death Shroud, you have their normal health. Then by the time you get their Health down really low, their Death Shroud is completely full again and they enter it automatically just as you’re about to kill them.
I really love how necros start with 0 lifeforce on match, then u can just freekill them whole game, and everytime theyre on respawn, instead of a good “here have 50% of your proffesion mechanic to make a comeback” you actualy lose -23% lifeforce cz of DS coding.
TLDR
Dont 2v1 a bunker necro unless youre both zerker. gg
Or get a broken mesmer or 3.

Are all chaneling abilities the same, or could there be a way to have intereacts only , while weapon, utilty skills would still cancel like they do now?

I don’t actually know why blindness in the first place, of all the conditions they choose blindness.
They had not enough round midleg objects and just enough brainpower to not make it the only heal in game which would put a damaging condition on yourself.

the curses GM trait “lingering curse”, doesnt increase the sceper#2 skills bleed and cripple duration (it shouble by 100% aka double it).
It shows the increase on the tooltip, but in reality it still a 8s bleed + 5s cripple instead of 16s bleed and 10s cripple.
It works (tooltip and reality) on all 3 parts of the autoattack rotation, the scepter#3 has no condi so nothing there.
Always love the “random useless build in ideal unranked scenario” argument.
It should be more in lines of “self bomb epidemic”.
And it doesnt even need to anything else, with the new brilliant design of “kitten master of corruption” trait – you will kill yourself anyway.
Necro sustain with the right traits is already unreal no need to buff it. Healing in death shroud is all the sustain they needed – with the right traits and equip a necro can out-sustain 2 players all day long.
The stuff they added was “siphons from own picked traits” now work in DS. Its the 30hp heals per hit.
All other heals, the 600 hps aoe regen from eles and 5-10k burst heals from others just somehow heal 0 through DS and go fully through all other distorn/mistforms/runeprocs etc.
But i guess necro is in a great 7th spot now, maybe even nerf it just for sure.

I think the trait gives too much utilty and is totaly overpowered. Not the part where it hits through evades, but the whole thing, it puts out more blinds than a guardian and makes counter pressure against the initial 20k stealth burst even harder.
Replacement?
Maybe if it was clutch 1s blind, but i would still rather see it gone, shatters already have a lot of extra stuff with them after 3 traitlines.

1) plague is still just a panic/stomp button every 3min. Its is a bit worse on condi builds and nobody beside an Arenanet tester should pick the Master of suicide trait.
(sadly even on power builds for a 20s heal and 2min plague its meh, pales to what u lose in blood and, why even bother with power necro? )
2) lich is now useless.
A bit cz of 15s nerf, but mostly cz power creep in defense. Blind on shatter, more blocks, blind spam ele…. its really not worth it

3) Golem
Still afks 50% 0f time, i just report him. Good for the new signet 1v1 hero builds, but you still need plague cz of no mobility to live through 10s of 2v1.

Not out yet, but probably the go-to elite in future. Someone made a good point, by comparing golem to the shout – and while golem is on paper clear winner , he just bugs out so 120s earthshakker it is.

Why was weakness added to power block?
I feel like salty jelly on necro when some have almost equal uptime on a debuff, and its part of the instaburst rotation/opener,
while i need 2s of cast/aftercast/landtime/no blind to land weakness – and that is mostly after the 15k opener while i would need it also instastart.
My view, and im trying to not be whiny necro with not stabilty, is that its just too much dmg in that mind wrack trait.
Also a blind on every shatter is guardian level of blindspam.
Its just past the point, where 2x poeple, or 2x combos during teamfight will kill anything as it does more than 50% of anyones hp pool. Before u could get bursted “low” and recover

For pvp, blood is power is unacceptable.
Probably also the poison trait compared to the DS condi and soul marks is very very very mandatory on condi builds to generate lifeforce.
Rest is ok if youre trying Death magic.
Advice 2nd stunbreak or at least the stubreak/stiblty on DS
its a slow projectile, that doesnt home but flies in a straight line, pretty much like staff#1.
its easiest seen if a person who is pressing left right left, the projectile may just miss you. But any heptic movement or even jumping can mess up the attack.
I know lich has also problems with height, for example it cannot hit the entangle root right under it. Probably that, a few sidesteps and dodge and nerfed 15s lich is useless 3min elite gone to waste. gg
Imho, due to the inner workings of chill, it will still stack intensity: having it deal damage is only a bonus effect, no need to change the whole condi for a specialization, no?
U mean “duration” . Also pretty sure they confirmed its duration stacking, we just dont know the dmg scaling (we only saw 200dps over 50% , 300dps under 50% ).
