1st Will dungeons still reward us the same amount of XP?
2nd Will dungeon XP count for leveling masteries?
3rd Will we be able to level pact tyria masteries by doing halloween content?

i dont think we are ever going to hit the problem of having more stuff to unlock with hero points than what we can attain in game, anet will know the numbers so they can adjust accordingly either the cost or the amount we can attain

who says you have to do a world tour to get enough anyways, if you dont want to do that you may have to make a choice between unlocking all the core specs or leaving one or two out to have enough for the elite one. you can only have 3 specs equipped at a time anyway and if you then later on find yourself wanting/needing the lines then you might want to do the world tours

they could probably do it with an item i reckon like how some games have zero xp items you can equip if you want more of a challenge

too bad for them i say, especially since you seem to be going out of your way to not cause issues and yet they are still whining. the second that started happening i personally would have stuck around and killed all the ambients and probably mail them some salt afterwards so you are already being better than i would

could always try wvw with the north supply camp in your home borderlands, there are plenty ambients up there and only really 2 groups of them maize farmers would probably go after. that is assuming of course you are not in a server you have to queue for

Buying precursors in that way would be a terrible thing to have, sorry if you are having bad luck getting one but please dont wish for bad features

imagine the example you list an item for 250g under your method
you get undercut again and again to the point where your item is NOT going to sell at that price
ok you think so i will just delist this item and relist at where the price has settled to….. Oops no you have come to a problem, you dont have enough gold to cover the listing fee so you can’t delist that item.

As it is people can’t list items for more gold than they have. On the small scale it creates the sort of issues you are referring to. On the larger scale though, say with an item as rare as a legendary or even rarer, at least in part the price will be restricted to within the amount of gold the lister has

didnt they make previously exclusive mini pets attainable again a few years down the line in gw1? and the fact that mini rytlock is still attainable from deluxe upgrade has me confident it will be.

i think if anet is smart they will make rewards reliant on participation, that way they can knock this on the head before it starts. fractal and dungeon selling is one thing but it would be a shame if people were able to do that with the raids

do you expect everything to be unlocked for you from the start with any other game?
its called progression and for a game to hold the interest of its audience there needs to be a meaningful sense of progression or else the players will get bored and leave.

might as well work on gathering the base mats, if it turns out there are better acquisition methods than just crafting theres no harm done, the mats will have use elsewhere

I dont know why people are complaining in both extremes about trapper runes, the counters for them would be range and anti stealth or tactical aoes so they are not OP but at the same time they could be of great use in modes like stronghold

I feel like it would mean more if they were earnable and placeable by our guilds so i hope not

like how we have nodes for our home instance i think it would be cool if there were recipes or something we could do as a guild to get nodes for our guild hall.

if it causes problems with the economy having home instance and guild hall nodes you could make it so that they count as the same, same way we cant relog to another character and go to their home instance and reharvest.

also since we wouldnt want to ruin guild hall customization these nodes would be placeable.

please can we have sinister set and trapper runes, that type of play is perfect for stronghold but not as supported as it could be if those were an option

so i have this armor piece in my inventory paws of koda, it shouldnt and doesnt equip onto my ranger because it is a heavy piece but i noticed a bit in the text down bottom that seems off.

For a start it implies we are getting class specific armor which would be cool but ive heard nothing about so have to assume not but aside from that its also wrong because obviously no rangers can not wear it.

i quite like the look of the axe, i have sort of being working towards frostfang but depending what the skill effects turn out to be i could easily be swayed to this new one.

pistol looks more like a rifle to me and i dont like the staff.

this topic is honestly the first ive heard of any dislike to the new daily system, i personally think its great.

there are easy options in each category but not always enough in a single category to complete the daily. in that way you either go more indepth into the mode of gameplay you prefer OR you pick and choose the easiest ones. the point is you have options.

OP I think your problem is centered much more around your dinosaur age computer/internet connection than the dailys themselves and in this day and age I dont think its fair to expect that demographic to be catered to.

do pvp for the tomes, im one away from an insta 80 revenant myself

well its not entirely true to say that leveling up currently at 80 is a worthless, you do get spirit shards after all. you might not think anything of it now but perhaps you might notice it a year or two after masteries have been active and you havent had that extra source of spirit shards in the background.

i think it would be pretty cool if it was a mastery to be able to create a potion or something to walk on water. they could then do some puzzles or even encounters around this

I think something is up with the ranger pet selection, I have pets unlocked from the hall of monuments that I dont think I should have yet plus even though they are unselectable, since the beta my screen has shown the new pets as being unlocked

yeah im not convinced it is latency issues
i have had tonnes of issues with the aspect crystals and i was really fearing it would be the same for gliding but having played in the beta i have seen that gliding works nice and smooth.
i dont see how gliding can be done good but not the aspect crystals… they are a decent concept but the amount they glitch on me is really offputting

yeah id love to see them add new stuff to the character creation screen rather than making it exclusive to the kits just because its a much better look. thing is ive made my characters already and im not likely to reroll to change look and i think there are probably plenty like me so doing that would not necessarily harm their bottom line

though and it sounds like when the event starts they will be in full working order but if they get destroyed they are destroyed till the next time the event is up

i think one of the main points of changing to a different currency is to AVOID the buy it with gold thoughtstream that pervades much of what you can acquire in gw2.

this is a good thing and i hope they keep it that way

id imagine it would just end in a situation like the luminescent armor where i have not found a combination of dyes that doesnt end up looking nothing like what it says in the advert

There are tonnes of copper nodes all over the 1-15 zones and even in parts of the 15-25 zones and in the areas close to wps in wvw.

For instance theres a certain ettin cave in queensdale near where the rotten oak tree event takes place and there is usually a rich node plus a couple normal nodes in the cave, then another 1-2 nodes on top of the cave.

If you cant find copper its because you are looking for it in the wrong place

maybe all that stuff you think was abbadon helping to fight the elder dragons was him trying to set up defeating one of them so he could take their place…

supposedly we still have a stream coming to showcase the new legendarys unless that plan has changed

well just like how we are getting new legendary weapons i think it is fair to say we will eventually get new legendary armor skins.

not all skins will appeal to everyone and i think it would be a bad idea for them to try to make them do so (we would never have got something like dreamer if that was the case). in the mean time if you dont like the skins you can either still go for the legendarys for the stat swapping or just wait for ones you do like

i was very meh about that reveal but watching the latest wp vid got me excited for them being the exalted and not mursaat. plus there is nothing stopping the mursaat from being revealed somewhere else, maybe we could finally go up to the isle of janthir for some reason

i thought the exalted didnt wake until the master of peace started to bring the egg to them. thatd mean they couldnt be E since E was active long before that

what i noticed was they are new dyes but not the highest rarity. to me that suggests either they will be much less rng than the usual gem store dye packs or perhaps only exclusive dyes will be in that new pack. it could also be that we can actually acquire these through gameplay, id love it if that were the case.

I was just looking through random stuff on the wiki and came across a material called giant eye. Oh cool I thought, theres a bit of motivation for killing giants in this game. Then I noticed under dropped by it said "This item is not dropped by any creature. "

WHY!?

There are giants. This is called giant eye. Why does it not a possible drop from a giant?

(suppose the wiki could be wrong too so if you know it is on this count feel free to point it out)

IDK why people are complaining about the lume armor thing, thanks to the bandit crests even if you were unlucky and didnt get a carapace drop you at least had solid progress towards one from the crest vendor. You also had the option not to rely on rng for the monster bits you need just by paying slightly more

what is done is that at the start of the weekend when you made your first beta character a snapshot of where your account was at was taken. anything you do on the beta character will only effect that snapshot and not your actual account.

if you want stuff to count to your account again you just need to do it on a non beta character

the stat difference is pretty small isnt it? i think if raids are as advertised then not too many people are going to be sitting in the area where that small difference will make or break the run

i quite like masteries, the only bit i dont like is that it takes the full length of time to unlock them in the betas when we dont have a lot of content to work with to level them up
