Superior rune of water isn’t good compared to the possible alternatives. Better off with just the major and another minor if you really want the extra healing power and boon duration.

healing power as a whole is rarely worth it, it really depends on what healing skills/effects your build has. Take a look at each of them on the wiki, most of them have the formula for the heal and you can see how effective(or not) the extra healing power will be.

as a rule thumb though… unless you’re a water-focused ele, it’s not worth it.

Also, if you have at least 3 guild members in the party, it will generate an extra 100 influence for each event you succeed at.

Botters don’t purchase accounts for single one time use, they purchase them to bot.

The bot ecology uses accounts for many purposes, one of them is solely for moving gold/wealth around, they function as middlemen between the bot accounts and the gold seller accounts.

Also, account cost rarely figures in to the math given that they mostly purchase accounts using stolen credit cards.

scenario: 5 new accounts are created and the only activity they see is a one-time login followed by a transfer of goods to another account.

ie: exactly the kind of pattern that a bot-detection software is looking for

Purely GW1 tips here:

- Every new account gives you 10 zaishen keys > 50k.
- An account can be as low as 5 euros in bargain bins. Buy tons.
- Most points are money based.
- Buy accounts, convert to zaishen keys. Move this money to main account.

If you want to go the pay2win route, you can easily get to 20 points by merely spending money.

This sounds like an excellent plan to have your ncsoft account banned altogether.

For the kind of investment and damage reduction and the cost of a full exo set + weapons + trinkets, I’d expect more, so not terribly impressed.

That might be the wrong approach, anecdotaly speaking, it’s something you want a bit of…. not to focus every possible slot on MF. (ie: maybe 50% is an MF sweet spot and 200% is a total waste?)

for example, when i get a new char to 80, i rarely have the cash to get all the exo pieces and runes i want right away, so i slap on cheap rare gear with some mf on it.. and it feels like it helps paying for the upgrades that will follow.

As someone who uses a g600 and has all 10 skills, f1-f4 and weapon swap all mapped on it… how could anyone NOT want more buttons on their mice?

Confusion will trigger once before being removed.

-get the gathering tools asap(copper axe, copper pick, copper sickle) and always be gathering from nodes out in the world as you adventure, this will be the base of your income in the early levels.

-focus on gameplay and exploring the world, rather than focusing on chasing the next level.

why should this affect my skills? MF means my character deals less dmg…. less dmg = everything takes longer and im getting carried because im not playing with my characters full potential…….. so im getting better loot while wasting other ppls time?…. this is not my definition of “fair”….
there is only one way to deal with it…. run full MF yourself. otherwise u r the idiot with less loot that carries the rest…..

do you only play with max level characters that have nothing but ascended trinkets, exotic armour and weapons, perfectly tuned traits/skills, consumable uptime of 100% and in a party with 4 ppl of like-quality? are you all masters of your builds?

somehow i doubt this is true, which means, you already aren’t playing to your “full potential” anyway.

if you only had rares instead of exotics for your armour, would you feel like you’re being carried? if someone in your party isn’t using consumables for stat boost, are they making you carry them?

stop worrying about who’s carrying who and who’s sub-optimal in their gear choice.

if you had fun and the content got done, mission successful. whether it took 28 minutes or only 26 won’t have any actual impact on your enjoyment or your quality of life.

A: you don’t have to sacrifice everything and run pure MF.

B: if slightly lowered stats make you go from “productive team member” to “useless body that needs to be carried through content by your party” …. i’d say your ability to play the game effectively has some bigger problems to overcome.

Don’t judge MF by how many rare drops you had, judge it by how many extra mats you get per drop.

also, the numbers tend to confuse ppl.. say you have a 1% chance of getting a rare weapon from a drop, 300% MF only bumps that up to a 4% chance.. so don’t expect rares and exotics to start raining down.

If you can find a left-handed MMO mouse, you might be able to map most of the commands of one character to each mouse and then train yourself to play both together… outside of that, you’re using a 3rd party app, which is forbidden.

Their stance on it is needlessly murky.. there is no way to multibox without a rule-infracting third party solution.

Unless you consider alternating between two complete/separate computer set-ups back and forth as being multiboxing… which I do not.

someone mentioned CC removing stealth and I think that’s actually a great idea.

not all forms of CC, but push/pulls/kd removing stealth makes a lot of sense mechanically and balance-wise.

fully agree, 10 is the minimum for a decent success rate.

less than that and you have to really luck out on which bounties get assigned to you.

I’m pretty comfortable saying that bounties are impossible for just 2 players.

For me this was a weekend of ridiculous battles over the green keep in EB… massive props to all 3 servers, these were some of the best large scale battles and siege tactics I’ve seen since launch.

I’m willing to wager that the time it takes to travel from A to B on one map, will average out to a trivial difference compared to the time it would take to switch to this app, submit the data and get the result.

This reminds me of the “supply camp” timer project someone started… the windows of time involved are simply too narrow for this info to be that useful in practice.

hum.. aren’t they already? Downed players are half sitting up with a hand outstretched and moving and their map icon is a blue swirly symbol. Dead players are flat on the ground, motionless and their map icon is a blue skull.

I don’t think the server issues are isolated to us, are we even sure that this is what happened last night, rather than just a glorious bit of night capping?

Last time when it was server issues, we also had those lovely “unknown” players that were friendly to both teams… Have any of those been encountered this morning? I didn’t see any in our BL while HH was pounding us into submission.

you have to do “things” in 15 minutes because that’s part of the challenge, and challenging content for guild is what the missions are all about.

I’ve certainly had a lot of fun with the guild bounties so far, even the ones we failed.

Removing an unfair advantage given by a technical problem does not constitute “punishment”.

Kicking everyone out of the map together would’ve taken all of one minute of downtime for some, a very small “penalty” to maintain the health of the competition.

I think the spawn camping was mostly an issue because it followed GoM taking advantage of the server issues to grab the entire map mostly unopposed and then continue on to benefit from having ‘unkown’ players hanging out with the spawn campers, keeping them up.

I find it…interesting to see posts about sportsmanship from the server that tanked their previous tier on purpose in order to drop to a tier in which they had no chance of losing.

just because one or two loudmouth said they were taking a break doesn’t mean the server took a dive.

…unless you think the last few months of AR/BP stomping us was all an elaborate ruse for us to sneak into your tier.

Also, could GoM players stop abusing the ‘unknown’ bug please, play fair.

There’s still about 15 HH member from GoM camping our spawn in EB.

I mostly use Earth/Water Trident.. start with earth to layer on the bleeds, then swap to water for the regen/heals and longer range

Yes, I have. And i remember a situation very close to this that came up on release when you’d have large groups farming that cave event in Gendarran.

Massive big ups to HoD and GoM, had so very many awesome fights over the weekend.

Great battles so far, no offense to our past adversaries but the last 24hours have been way more fun than the last few months. small groups every where, it’s great!
