I’m looking for Annihilator too; managed to get one of the other legendaries last night, a lot of people seemed to have the right idea once a commander or two arrived – I think it takes commanders to make it happen really, just like in WvW.

Just to clarify, we’re not talking about oufits reverting to default when they are switched, which is not really a problem, but while they are still being worn.

Happens to me when I change maps. Everything was fine until I got the Hexed oufit using candy corn cobs; I haven’t experienced a problem with the Hexed outfit itself, but I then purchased the noble outfit from the gemstore and it just won’t retain the colours I set it to. Every time I wp the oufit has reverted to default colours

I tried this on both my chars, one is only a few months old but the other I’ve had since just after halloween 2012. I got the game before halloween but then had to have superfun emergency eye surgery and wasn’t able to get started until nearly Wintersday. I was always so envious of my brother’s Mad Memoirs back that he got and have been wanting to get one ever since

But no go with either character It just says Serene sounds unintelligible, or something to that effect.

I wish I knew why it works for some people but not for others. Just like Guhracie, I took Gaille’s post as kind of a confirmation. I’m hoping it’s bugged, and that the bug is it not working for some people. Hoping

The game is already stacked heavily in favour of the ghost courtiers. The only realistic way for villagers to win is through finding good hiding places. I’m not sure this could really be considered an exploit, any more than any other tactic – if you find a good hiding place, and no courtiers find you and so you win, that is not an exploit.

It’s clearly a registry issue. Google ‘registry cleaner’ and then look for a result that is free and promises to supercharge your PC. The more caps and exclamation marks, the better the product. Click on the link for it and follow the instructions, including clicking on any and all links that the site shows you. In no time at all your current problems will seem insignificant.

I think it’s supposed to have been fixed now, in that last patch. I meant to check it out last night, but I had to go to bed because I’m really sick and a kitten wuss.

I previewed the noble count outfit on my female asura (necro) last night, and I have to say, she looked ADORABLE

I never received candy corn cobs for this (I have no candy corn cobs at all), is it because I completed it last year so it technically isn’t my first time? I didn’t receive candy corn cobs last year either – I’ve never possessed any candy corn cobs at all, I’ve never had enough candy corns to make even one so far lol

Well my birthday’s in December, and I truly hope my family and friends get me a couple of gem cards, I’d thoroughly enjoy wasting them in the gemstore

Oh that’s interesting, last night I would swear I played about 6 or 7 rounds, but when I looked at the achiev it said I’d only played 4… I assumed I must have lost track or something, but maybe they didn’t all count.

I don’t think I can play any more until the combat skills bug is fixed, it’s unplayable when the courtiers run faster than the villagers and bring them down with ranged attacks (and bears lol)… in the end I managed to come 3rd twice by just hiding very very well

Yep I got pwned by someone’s bear and by people using normal combat skills, loads of buffs and speed boosts… also when I was just about to finish someone, just as I pressed F a mesmer ran up behind me and put down a portal so I ended up portalling to somewhere else and they could get the finish. Not cool. I don’t even know how they were doing this?? I seemed to be the only one playing without their normal skillset

Ele is the most fun, and can turn their hand to pretty much anything, they can find a way to be useful and do good dps in any situation. And they can heal themselves (and those around them with the right traiting) better than any other profession I think.

I’ve never played a thief though, so I can’t help there. Stealthing always looks like great fun to me though

I played on my ele last night, for the first time in a while – I was absolutely stunned by the drops, just in a different league to what I’ve become accustomed to on my necro. It really is very noticable when you switch back to a necro after playing another profession (or vice versa)

there is a new feature that might help. In options look at “Content Guide”. Select “Hide Events and Personal Story” and the compass at top will direct you to areas for map completion.

Yes, it has improved a great deal, there’s no doubt about that. It just seems to trip over itself if you try to do things too fast. I think the problem is that it shouldn’t allow you to sell before it’s actually ready, it’s a classic problem that reminds me of my old widget-designing days lol

To be fair to the OP, I have noticed this irritating problem with the TP since the patch; it first comes up with an incorrect price (which isn’t always 9c, I’ve seen it be all kinds of different values), and then if you wait long enough it refreshes to a different price. Sometimes the price it refreshes to is more, sometimes less, than the first price listed. It makes selling slow, confusing, and fraught with irritating mistakes, which sometimes are unavoidable as the TP can take a VERY long time to refresh to a different price.

Why has Pendu the armour-fixer in Wayfarer Foothills changed from a male Asura to a female Norn?? Is this a bug, or intentional? The name is now inappropriate for the character; if you’re going to change the NPC there then you might as well change the name too….?

Yep, I had exactly this yesterday when I was trying to do a bit more map completion after Taidha Covington event

Uhhh targetting is SO broken, I can’t target any world bosses, pressing tab (which I shouldn’t even have to do at all when I’m front and centre staring down a gigantic world boss) just cycles round and round through trash mobs and incidentals around, and even outside of, the fight area, the same few over and over and not the huge flappy dragon thing/wurm thing RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME

This issue is so old, when is it going to be fixed? Ever??

Complete it, then it will go away Actually if you’re new and have a low-level character that may be harder to do, but you only have to get 4 of the categories to complete it, and you might find it fun to have a go at

Totally agree, I think the Orders are dreadfully underused, when they could actually have useful roles to play that would also really add to the Living World experience.

It’s about time the Orders were brought to life, they are currently utterly static in the game which makes them seem so artificial.

I would like a real time data log that shows me all the damage done, dps, total damage, amount of deaths etc in my speed clears.

It would be nice to have something like Recount so i can see who isn’t pulling their weight. Can’t stand leechers who get loot and gold off of others hard work and abilities.

It of course should be opional to toggle on or off, that way casuals won’t feel under pressure, but more determined palyers could use the data to improve their builds?

Well, this thread is far too long and involved and I truly don’t think it’s worthy of my time to go through it.

All I can say is, I’m glad I don’t know you in rl and I hope not to be forced into your company in gameplay.

This feature is driving me MAD. I get this message in every single map I go to.

I get this message and look round and there’s people everywhere…? So, not short of map population at all…? Not only that but then if I want to stay it’s there in my UI blocking the area where my loot drops should come up, which is even more annoying. This thing is really spoiling my experience at the moment, it’s a constant interruption and distraction while I’m trying to play. I can’t even see the point when there are clearly just as many players running round as I would normally expect to see. Some maps are always pretty low pop, that’s the nature of the map, and since those maps are meant to be wild and dangerous that’s what I expect.

It’s also kind of annoying to voluntarily move to a new map and then get this message AGAIN after like 10 minutes of play -_-

I just can’t seem to escape this constant interruption.

I can’t even work out whose ideas I like best. They all sound really exciting to me. I think everyone has more or less the same basic views though: that all races should be represented, and all races’ skills should be utilised in appropriate ways; and that ‘New Lion’s Arch’ should be full of interesting and idiosyncratic secrets and surprises for the curious – and maybe adventurous – visitor

I would like to add to that something I feel is missing from DR and the other cities – activities that we can do for fun while we’re hanging out there. In fact LA was better for that than the other cities, what with jps, moa racing, etc, but more could done in that direction I think. After all, the fact that it had the activities it did/does is one of the big reasons why we all liked to hang out there. Anet should learn something from that, maybe

I have to agree with this. I started a necro just before that update and have leveled all the way up to 80, and right the way through, got almost no items at all she can use. Definitely less than 1 in 10, maybe less than 1 in 20, and this is still the case now she’s level 80. In fact I also have the problem that she gets low-level gear too, I thought that would improve as she leveled up like with my ele, but no, still mostly low-level whites. Completely different to my ele. My poor necro just gets nothing of value, or profession-specific, at all. If my ele had such bad luck with drops I’d never have got anywhere

I mean, even from Karka Queen, which I do nearly every day, I just get my token rare-in-a-chest, then the actual drop is all low-level, low value, mostly whites. Seriously. And the token rare is always something she can’t use, just to add insult to injury Yesterday’s rares I think I got a mace, a pair of medium armour boots, and a pistol from champ drops

Since the patch I’ve had issues I’ve never experienced before, the game keeps ‘jumping’ visually (like it freezes for a second then jumps to where it should be, very disorienting), and there are unusual sound problems too, the music and some game-sounds make crackly fritzing and popping noises

These things were noticable the first time I played right after the update, I thought they might be a temporary problem so I’ve given it a couple of days to see what happened but they are still there, in fact last night it was terrible

Hmm I wonder if they fixed something that I experienced back when Sanctum Sprint was new – at a busy time I ended up in a race instance where there was only me, from beginning to end…despite being pretty terrible (it’s great fun but too hilarious for me to do well competitively ) obviously I got Sanctum Sprinter or whatever the title is because there was no-one else in the race! So, maybe they’ve fixed it now, so if there’s only one person in an instance it doesn’t run?
