Whoever calls this “easy as pie” or claim to have completed it in less than 10 tries must be either a cave troll or a jungle troll. Maybe a snow troll too.
No exos should have been granted by a seasonal event chest to begin with. Therefore it’s ANet’s mistake.
If it was that easy as cakewalk then why so many people seem to be having an hard time completing it?
There the whole point of a seasonal event is being missed. It has to be fun for everyone.
So in the end the people who did the labyrinth before the patch got rich? Nice. WTG.
I cant’ find the doors with the pumpkin icon and whatnot. Requirements to enter the clock tower aren’t specified anywhere. Please ANet be more clear. Thanks.
I think they should at least give the players the chance to choose a secondary class you can possibly to switch to in town zones, if ANet is so against class change. :/
Force respawn after 2 minutes might be a valid solution.
I too have the same problem. No music plays in LA anymore since the beginning of the Halloween event.
The only trap worthy to be used to this day is Ambush and even that is pretty much a waste of slot. They should indeed turn them AoE, because as single target they’re not that useful, especially tripwire.
I never had that much difficulty with the jump puzzles, and I have max height norn female.
It’s most likely supposed to work this way.
Well now they must nerf that overpowered Dart enemy skill, that’s what.
13 seconds stealth is not perma stealth, and more importantly, this cannot be used in the same way in combat. Once you engage an enemy, weapon switch gains a cooldown timer.
So don’t anyone even begin crying for thief nerfs. Or rather “why thief can do this while my class can’t”. Stealth is like the signature skill of thieves.
This is how it works. If you get zerged in WvWvW it’s normal that your enemies will ress their dead. Your server mates will do the same to you. Moral of the story: don’t fight many enemies at once.
Female characters need more catsuit armors, something like the Baroness’ suit from G.I. Joe.
Yes, it’s an underwater enemy skill. Its power should be really toned down.
The cannons in WvWvW also are shooting toilet paper instead of bombs.
Ah yes, this reminds me the labyrinth in Cursed Shore. Try attacking a rotmouth and you’ll see hordes of Risen coming at you.
If they’re not going to implement class change tokens… let alone race change. :/
No.
Creating an hard mode instance of the world would only divide the player base. Once people hits level 80 and gets their exotic gear they will stay most of the time in the hard mode instance leaving lower level players to deal with themselves in the regular.
I’m sure they already have plans on making new harder dungeons/areas in future expansion without the need of “hard mode”.
The only things to which I see hard mode option applicable are dungeons and, if they will ever add them, instanced bosses.
I too would like to see special exotic or legendary dyes that glow or have an aura effect and such.
I wouldn’t remove it completely, just minimize the volume of the spark sound.
Not everyone can actually outrun centaurs.
Are you sure it’s your headphones and not your sound card?
It’s not really that hard to make pitch and tone sliders on voices. Alot of non-MMORPG games actually have it (see SoulCalibur 5) and I don’t know why they haven’t done this yet for MMOs. Perhaps to minimize data transfer and avoid lag?
I’m aware this is a minor issue, if it can be defined as such.
But why does the ebony dye look as a dark shade of gray on most starter gear while on other gear it becomes a pale brown?
Not a bad idea at all. You have my support.
Sorry but I still fail to see why this would be detrimental to the game. Isn’t GW2 based upon freedom? Why does one have to be forced to “reroll” after all the progress made with the game only because the class that was chosen wasn’t the optimal for them?
And you can still learn how to play even if you’re not starting again from level 1. By the time you get to 80 with another class you’ll be knowing the basics already.
Have you read the whole post at least?
Level is not the main concern, it’s the exploration/story/crafting/dyes stuff. You don’t get all that done in a week unless you’re some basement dweller playing 24/7.
Even those who have a life outside the game deserve to get something in their favour, or is that wrong?

I just wonder how the insanely OPed mesmer got away with no nerfs again.
No one’s complaining in their forum, that’s why.
Meh. I find events that require farming kind of boring.
Basically, tokens that provide the player the chance to change their profession to another, retaining their level without having to do everything from the beginning.
This of course would come with a cost in gems so it would make an excellent gem sink, and I believe it’d be a welcome addition. Especially for those who have grown tired of their class and want to try another without having to make a completely new character and having to explore the world/finishing storyline/getting dyes/raising crafting all over again.

Really, a buff? You must be joking.
Nothing, ever, guarantees that you will land each of those 5 attacks. While with a single burst you had to worry just about one.
Now they should at least decrease Assassin’s Signet cooldown, or initiative cost on weapon skills to make up for it.
This update made Thieves easier to kill and harder to get killed by them.

You don’t have to replace your gear as you level up. I ‘ve hit level 60 wearing level 16 shoulder pieces, and I didnt’ care about it.
I was using pieces I got from mobs as drops and had no problems at all.
May be we can hear from devs about this issue?
BTW here is another one:
8k from Cluster Bomb? Well this is new to me.
I’m pretty sure my Norn female doesn’t lack emotion when sometimes she screams “DIE!!” when engaging an enemy.
What is this perma stealth nonsense? After attacking from the Stealth condition there is an additional condition called “Revelaed” which lasts a couple of seconds that doesn’t allow you to go immediately again into Stealth.
If people are permanently stealthed then it’s a rendering issue or an hacker/exploiter.
Mobs can eventually fear or knock players down and eventually make them fall from high places to their death in certain zones.
So why can’t mobs fall off and take damage as well?
I too would prefer if dyes were account wise. The price on some dyes are overly exaggerated… 5 gold for an abyss dye I can use only on a single character? Come on.
$25 for a transfer? Are you on drugs or something?
I think there is no real problem with this, as long as it’s just a cosmetic change.
Or they could just allow any class to wear any armor with some kind of backfire on the types of armor not meant for them.
Making an example… an elementalist wearing heavy armor would be too weak physically to sustain its weight, so he gets a bonus on defense in exchange of a penalty on movement speed.
I believe this would be the most realistic solution to the matter…
There are already plenty of revealing outfits. I don’t think we need g-string thongs or any further oversexualization on a game rated T/Pegi 12.

I must agree that some classes’ downed state skills are better than others. They could fix this simply by replacing the downed state skills with the same set of skills for all classes while in a PvP area.
Why not 4 Basic Transmutation Stones = 1 Fine Transmutation Stone from the Mystic Forge itself?
I’ve noticed his too. Also, I thought on dragon fights the boss playlist played, but it’s still the battle playlist.
Matter of tastes.
I actually like the Norn female voice and I dont’ find it flat. It gives me the impression of a character who can keep calm and cool and doesn’t panic even in the most tense situations.
Imo, that’s the kind of voice any serious female warrior should have.
T3 seems just not worth the cost, imho.
I remember being able to turn my character using the mouse, only in combat mode though.
Stealth ability for all classes? No.
An NPC able to cast stealth on you for 5 minutes (which breaks when engaging an enemy) at the entrances of non-PvP areas is more viable.
