There’s an issue with the skill Blinding Powder and Auto-Attack. (This is probably not a bug but I don’t think it should work as it does.)
Whenever Blinding Powder is used during an Auto-attack chain, the stealth effect of the skill is immediately cancelled and it only applies revealed condition on the caster without granting him or her any sort of stealth.
Solution: Have Blinding Powder interrupt the Auto-attack sequence on use the same way as casting Hide in Shadows and Shadow Refuge do.

Also add the BossBattle playlist never being randomized.
No, I actually don’t even have invisible bags on that character.
Mursaat? would your character be invisible to other players unless they have ascended gear? lol. WaAay too powerful/god like to be playable. Plus weren’t they all defeated?
First of all lol, the invisible bit made me laugh.
I’m thinking that some of the Mursaat them could have escaped/survived their race’s slaughter. They remained hidden to regroup, start over and maybe plot their vengeance
The dragon’s awakening and specially their consumption of magic saps most of their powers and makes them less godly. Now they decide to reveal themselves to the other races in order to survive.
Come on, it could work ^^
That’s almost just as how I imagined they’d become a playable race.
As you mentioned, the only problem is that they’d be cooler than the other races. XD
I never equipped it, it still says “Soulbound on use” but if I click on “Sell on Trading Post” the sale window appears with no item selected and besides it’s not even on the list.
I thought this happened with weapons dropped from fractal chests, but I’m sure I got this from a Mystic Forge combination.
That model is, as have been said, reused for the Risen Priestess of Dwayna (and Risen High Priestess of Dwayna).
It is however undeniably a Largo.
I think moon phases with relative illumination of the land would add to the realism.
During a full moon you can see pretty much far at night, while on new moon it gets much more darker.
Of course, under a new moon it could be harder to go out and fight at night, so why not have perhaps bonuses on magic find for the darker nights?
Actually, there is a risen Largos.
It’s encountered in an event in Bloodtide Coast, called an “Orrian Terror”. I think it’s part of an event chain in Castavall – you can fight it there, or (I believe if that event is failed) on Mistarion beach.
I’m not sure if the Orrian Terror is a Risen Largo. But there is a picture of a Risen Largo virtual model done by the character artist of GW2.
It is unknown to me if this model was scrapped or it just hasn’t been implemented yet. Still, it’s pretty well done.
Mursaat

(You had an option of “Shell Road in Predictable Pattern” as an Elite, but everyone knows that one’s gimp.)
On second thought… balance could be an issue.
lol of course that would need some balancing. Maybe a complete rehaul from their previous form. :P
Sexy? yes. Nude? This is gw2… i don’t want nudity in it! go play an H game brah
So all those artists of the past who depicted and sculpted nude figures were perverts? And tell me, are you offended by seeing a body as nature made it?
Jeez. Nudity is not pornography.

Not for me. Been getting only blue drops from chests for the past two days.
Well that post was helpful, now it’s clear that it’s my fault for not having an Nvidia card right?
I didn’t buy a 3D monitor just for Guild Wars 2, and I already have a perfectly working AMD graphics card that I’m not going to change anytime soon. Not going to spend money on a new Nvidia card just to get 3D.
Not going to happen you say? Then I guess we can add this to the list of bad things in GW2.
(edited by Hermes.7014)
This smells so much like poor design.
A particular class should never be left out from any activity, let alone endgame.
I constantly see topics about thieves being “overpowered”, and then nobody wants them in fractals because they’re “too weak”? Bah.
There’s an ongoing joke I have amongst friends that there’s too much sex going on in Divinity’s Reach.
Because humans are obsessed with sex even in videogames.
It makes me smile every time somebody posts their awkward moments being in Divinity’s Reach with speakers on full volume and having family/girlfriend/wife in the room at the same time.
I agree on that. If that was the armor awarded by trading HoTW tokens I’d have definitely gotten that because it looks somuch better.
When I saw this freelance work by thesame artist who drew the artwork for GW2 I immediately thought “This could very well be how an unmasked largo would look like”
http://www.kekaiart.com/uploads/5/4/7/6/5476798/2988517_orig.jpg
So I got myself a 3D screen lately, only to find out that the Stereoscopic 3D Rendering option was still grayed out on my GW2 options. So I did some research and eventually found out that the option can be enabled only for NVidia graphics card, while I have an AMD. Needless to say that I was baffled and disappointed at this unfairness.
Hey, guess what, someone out there owns AMD cards and 3D monitors. Why doesn’t it support AMD products? Is Arenanet in league with Nvidia or what?
The request is simple. Please allow us, AMD card owners, to enjoy Stereoscopic 3D Rendering on Guild Wars 2 without the use of third-party software.
By the way, there are also some concept arts of centaurs with evident icebrood corruption.
http://www.kekaiart.com/uploads/5/4/7/6/5476798/9059841_orig.jpg
And also in this other concept you can see a norn female icebrood:

The Hoelbrak shown in the concept at surely looks way more futuristic than the actual Hoelbrak.
One race I’d like to see playable would be Mursaat.
I know they’ve been enemies in the past, but nobody said this cannot change. Like it happened between Charr and Humans.
After the awakening of the elder dragons, they (or rather what remains of them, a small community might have managed to silently hide from the Titans) could very well feel threatened like every other race, and thus choose to become visible to everyone and join in a perhaps temporary alliance. After all the enemy of my enemy is my friend.
I’m already imagining a good background story about their return as allies instead of foes.
Secondly, Kodan, although it’s true there’s some lack in customization. But there’s a simple solution to this: Reveal more Kodan tribes with different fur patterns. Not necessarily from the Shiverpeaks region but from different locations of the world.
Ah third pick I’d choose Tengu.

Yeah, bye bye unbreakable bell. -_-
The design seem to have suffered a bit from the change, however in my personal opinion heavy armors should never be that skimpy. Just take a look at how many soft spots it leaves open.
But yeah, apparently people likes playing half naked chicks on the battlefield.
I don’t remember where I got this from, probably fractals. It’s an exotic “Warhorn”, yet it uses the skin of a Shiverpeak or Norn Warhorn. I’m sure it’s not soulbound because I could send it to another character, yet I can’t sell it on the TP. Is it bugged or something?
Mayan and Aztec culture get often mistaken for each other in fiction. Or, the ancient race of Utopia was inspired by both mesoamerican cultures.
I think dead state to waypoint shouldn’t be charged at all.
On a side note, I’ve always wondered what happens if you die with 0 coins. Stay perma-dead unless you receive money through mail by somebody else?
With all the softcore kitten producers throw in movies nowadays, some alluding sounds are nothing.
Vizunah has like 75% of the maps atm and BT and SFR are about equal in points. Seems like France doesn’t celebrate Christmas…?
There are barely any BT and SFR online, yet I still see massive amounts of VS players steamrolling the maps lol
But who needs to spend time with real life families when you already have a huge virtual family?!
Exactly. That’s another perfect example for which this could be necessary.
As for the cost, it could be either guild influence per name change (always limited to 3 uses though, to prevent “abusing”), most likely, or a gem store service.
As long as it’s nothing frustrating such as enchantments on Lineage 2. I get shivers thinking about that.
I got one of these things in one of the gifts that I received in my email. What is it’s purpose?
If you don’t like going ringing bells around then it’s free gold for you.

The exact same question was asked few days ago. It’s called The Charr Triumphant.
Hackers have to be banned and Vizunah Square server should get penalized for the rounds they were in. Yes, because this is the only way to isolate them from the honest community: not reporting hackers on your own server shall get your server penalized.
Yeah because we all know that every hackers are on VS. So cute.
Hackers live on many servers, they should all get banned. A whole server isn’t responsable for some stupid hackers.
It is. Server penalty would serve so that hackers get reported by their own server too and thus quickly banned. Otherwise it would be convenient for the server to have the hackers on their side, don’t you think?
They have to turned into enemies of all sides.
When most of the mobs can slaughter you with three or less attacks going ranged is often preferred in dungeon or group event situations.
Imho, they should tone a bit down the damage dealt by enemies for melee range to become viable.
Sure, you can dodge, but after stamina is depleted you can’t and an healing skill won’t just save you.
If only the unbreakable bell wasn’t that rare.
Nobody at all? Since there is no PvP wars between guilds I don’t see any bad this would do to the game.
As long as it doesn’t lead to camping. I have bad memories of notorious monsters in FFXI.
Also Icebrood in fact aren’t Sons of Svanir. Sons of Svanir are followers of the Dragon as they see it as a spirit of the wild, while Icebrood are corrupted entities, as we see they can be Norn, Koda, Quaggan, Largo and so on. So the rules consequence of Jora’s actions against the cult of Svanir do not apply to Icebrood.
Well, firstly, there’s no icebrood largos.
Secondly, Sons of Svanir do eventually become icebrood (and there are sentient icebrood that lead the Sons of Svanir – most Svanir shamans are, in fact, using icebrood models).
The consequences of Jora’s actions might hold a side-effect on who becomes icebrood, since as I’ve said the Sons of Svanir do in fact channel Jormag’s power to create new icebrood (these being the “shamans” – which, again, many appear as icebrood but are very much sentient and, more importantly, with the mentality of Sons of Svanir.
I saw a concept art of a Risen Largo once so that got me into a bit of confusion about them. So far there are no corrupted Largo.
However, I believe Sons of Svanir are Norn only if I remember well. There are still Koda and Quaggan that make an exception so, after all, corruption doesn’t apply just to SoS alone. Jormag may corrupt female Norns independantly from Sons of Svanir.
I guess we will see more on this matter when the Shiverpeaks storyline will be released.

Well, to my knowledge of the Lore, there is no record that Asura, prior to 1078 AE, used to have the same technology they have in the GW2 era. Also even in the GW1 era, Rata Sum appeared to contain some sort of magic already before it was expanded.
So it might be true, after all, that they found something there they then studied and adapted as their own, given their already prominent intellect.
The gates, even golemancy could be the result of adaption of ancient technology, yet they probably wouldn’t even admit it. As proud as they are of their intellectual superiority, I wouldn’t be surprised if they changed a bit the course of their history from how it truly was.
(edited by Hermes.7014)
It’s all speculation up to this matter.
The whole “females immune to Jormag corruption” sounds rather odd.
I think they are either killed or… for some reason, Jormag likes to have women around so he keeps them in the Northern Shiverpeaks. In that case, he either is a “ladies-dragon” (lol) or females have another use / turn into a more powerful kind of Icebrood so that they can be used as elite guards.

You can also “trick” the game into shuffling the playlist by creating a blank mp3 (a second-long duration will do) and putting it first on the playlist queue.
Unfortunately said trick doesn’t work with BossBattle playlist.
How about a way to allow guild leaders to change the name of their guild up to two or three times?
Previously used names would become available to everyone else after a month or so.
This could be helpful for guilds which have gotten many upgrades or members and have a name with a typo that perhaps they didn’t realize before or something else they’d like to correct.

My friend dropped it from his fifth gift box…
Special crafting materials such as lodestones seem to have been significantly reduced in drop rates.
I used to get them in Frostgorge Sound from Colossi prior to the Lost Shores patch, at least a good 3 for each session, but after that, having an over 120%+ magic find set equipped I can’t seem to obtain any in a 3 hours long farming session.
Given the importance lodestones have, this is no casual friendly.
To prove there was some change in drop rates are the current and rising prices for lodestones and anything connected to them such as runes and sigils.

The custom soundtrack feature should be improved. Like with an in-game menu under options so that players have a way to choose how tracks are random or not and possibly a volume slider.
I hope you guys aren’t complaining for getting more stuff. lol.
This never ends does it?
It requires a trait to regenerate initiative faster while in stealth. It’s not like thieves have a special ability that allow them to equip all traits at once.
If gw2 is like gw1, I think it would be very hard. If I’m not mistaking, there is 1 “head slot”. Normally hair fills this slot, but when you wear a real hat, not just a mask, it replaces the hair to prevent clipping issues.
GW2 is on a whole different graphic engine though. If that was the case I wouldn’t understand why they’d keep their grip on past graphical imperfections due to engine limitations such as these.
If it’s too hard for Areananet to make hair work with hats. Then they should design hats that have hair on them and make it dyeable.
This could be a work-around. Have hair directly included on the headgear model with two versions: one for short hair and another for long. Which could be either dyeable or take the original hair colour.
