Yes, everything in your wallet, bank, and achievements transfers. Just make sure you bank all items from your characters that are not soulbound before you delete your characters. If you have some soulbound cosmetic items (wings and other event items) you may want to transmute them onto white items to keep them as well and break the soulbind. If you have a personal guild bank make sure your move items in it to your bank as well as guild progress does not transfer. Achievements are tied to your account and not characters.

Oh, don’t get me wrong and no offense to the OP. I only bring it up because I wonder how much playing GW2 is a factor in the decision of buying a Mac in threads such as these. Macs are wonderful, yet very expensive machines. If GW2 is a priority then I suggest buying something else.

Then I suggest you buy a Windows machine. GW2 was made for Windows and the OSX client is unpredictable at times with little support and no update from Anet as to the future of the Mac client. For example the a patch a few back pretty much broke the Mac client as far as FPS and made it unplayable in group events. It took until the next patch for an improvement and still some are experiencing problems. There have been patches that broke the ability for Mac customers to buy gems and required customer work arounds. I mention these things because we, as Mac client users seem to never know what might be broken next and if the Mac client is being tested when Anet works on updates. Toss in the very lack of support (look around this forum) and I suggest if GW2 is a priority then get a Windows machine.

I see this come up in other threads about farming. Why do people assume all GW2 players work on an hourly wage?

Does not affect me at all(maybe I should have mentioned that in my post) but I would imagine it affects Anet’s bottom line. If more players use this method I’m sure some adjustments will be made. If not, somewhere down the line it will affect me because Anet will make less money. That’s not something I want to happen.

Maybe if they put some better things in BLCs people would buy more keys. Just a thought.

Last time I checked this wasn’t a thread started by Anet saying, “Vote for or against open world duels.” There isn’t anything to take away since it doesn’t exist to start with. All these threads on the topic have been beat to death and then beaten dead again. If you think that whoever thinks they win the argument in this thread will prevail, well, I think that isn’t going to happen. There isn’t anything said in this thread that hasn’t been said over and over already so I really don’t think it makes a difference. In the end, this thread will fade away soon like the many others and only Anet knows what the future holds as far a such things.

My advice is if you want to buy a Mac buy it because you want a Mac. If you want a gaming laptop buy something else. While I feel comfortable saying the Mac you want would work fairly well, the GW2 Mac client is buggy and get’s very little support at this time. Have a read around this forum.

Again I ask the question how do I use the 1 skill and get full movement? Since I enjoy pvp I need to be constantly using this skill and its just not worth playing this game like this.

If you use WASD for moving try binding the ‘1’ skill to your shift key. It’s right there under your left pinky finger when you have your fingers over those keys. I use “A” and “D” for strafe, “W” and “S” for forward and backwards and mouse to turn. It is very natural and easy to use the “1” skill while on the move with it bound to the shift key.

It doesn’t matter what character, main or an alt. If the name violates the naming policy then you get a chance to rename it. As mentioned, if you feel your character’s name does not violate the policy then submit a support ticket.

Yes it is phishing and you should edit and remove your email address from your post. Otherwise it may get harvested and you may end up with more phishing emails. And as another word of advice you should never publicly post your email address on any website. Spammers use spiders that crawl websites and harvest emails to add to their list.

Good luck with TERA and make sure you don’t allow your brother to access your TERA account. I would suggest you not have your password saved for login in the event he get’s mad at you again.

The “evil little brother” event usually doesn’t justify having an account roll back. You are responsible for securing your account and not allowing others in your household access. Generally accounts only get roll backs in the event of being hacked from an outside source. In your “evil little brother” scenario there is no way to determine if you deleted things yourself or if indeed it is one of the many “evil little brothers” that seem to run amuck.

Either way, the best you can do is contact support. Keep in mind they do keep IP logs and will be able to tell where access to your account came from.

Your account will be fine. Your account, progress, characters, bank and so forth are saved on Anet’s end. When you update your OS it isn’t going to change anything. I wouldn’t suggest what you are about to do though.
