If anything becomes so easily farmable, that’s a disruption to the game as a whole and needs to go.
That isn’t what this thread is about.
OP was suggesting grieving farmers, and ruining their fun, for whatever reason.
I’m saying that is inconsiderate to people just minding their own business, playing the way they want to play.

We need them to optimize GW2 for WINE, at least
Uhm, sorry but no.
They are already supporting an Apple client, that has a marginal userbase below their worldwide WinXP 32bit user clientèle.
Adding another marginal userbase to support is not exactly a good idea when their core client is crap.
Uhm. Yes. There are tons of people going out of their way with workarounds to use GW2 on Linux. Check the Tech Support forums, and Youtube.
I’m also pretty sure the devs mentioned somewhere they WILL optimize it for WINE, since a Linux release is not planned.
GW1 is famously one of the most stable WINE games on Linux ever. Why not continue the trend with GW2?
Is it a rainbow jellyfish, or a green jellyfish? :S
Kinda funny, considering Warriors want the bow skills of a Ranger.
Buy char slots and make a mule? Use fotm tokens to buy bags.
5 bags x 20 slots = 100 slots.
How’s that sound for storage space?
Why would you pay for a game you already bought? Paid DLC itself is already a stupid idea, why should we be charged to play games we already bought too?
I think this is the screenshot to look for:
And yes… a LOT of idiots and fools up there who are not clear on the concept of what GW2 is for. All those zerker runners…
What are they going to do when they get all that gold and a legendary? Queue up for the raid?
Oh that’s right… there is no raid.
/fools
But at least they’re easy to avoid.
You set the filter specifically for CoF Exp.
People like to farm. Is it surprising? Stop trying to ruin their fun just because it’s popular.
I’d rather see a Gatling kit _
Or a Sniper kit?
Maybe the sniper gatling gun Jesse Ventura used in Predator?
However I main an Engi, so I get very annoyed when I see that over half the posts on GW2 lfg are CoF speedruns looking for ’zerks.
What are you talking about? ONE Zerker is LFGing in that entire page….
p1+p2 seems pretty popular though.

Please, could anyone enlighten me, what is the problem exactly?
If you see someone forming a Speed Run team only consisting of certain classes and certain gear, why would you complain about it? I mean, if you dont want to join a team like this, just don’t, no one’s forcing you to. If you want you’re free to form a team slightly slower consisting of any 5 classes…
So WHAT’s THE PROBLEM?
This.
This only times I see groups asking for full zerker besides CoF Speedfarm are level 40 FoTM and Arah. Maybe HoTW p1 speedruns.
Some people need to get out, and socialize more. This reminds me of when our school Basketball team needed an extra player for the finals, and the worst player lied to join them. Then he complained how the team didn’t like him.

I like Wayfarer Foothills because of the absolute stunning visuals, the music, and all the constant events!
It’s also much easier to navigate.
The fact Maw was nerfed kinda upsets me a bit, but it’s still my favorite starter zone.
Really, it all comes down to a question: Do you like the visuals and convenience? If yes, then it doesn’t hurt!
Step 1) Go to a guild wars 2 item database site and get the chat codes for the items
Step 2) “Ping” a full set of gear you don’t own
Step 3) Tell the little kiddy who demanded said ping to “Go back to WoW”.
Step 4) …
Step 5) All of GW2’s playerbase profits
I thought it would come off as basic common sense to understand when players wish to run specific builds.
Anyone who does such a thing is very inconsiderate, in my opinion!
The issue here is not whether or not the dungeon could be cleared. If you take a bunch of magic find users in blues, I’m sure it could be done efficiently as well. However, when a player is so inconsiderate that they lie about their gear just to force themselves in a group which wishes to run a specific team build, you’re not only ruining other peoples’ fun, but ruining whatever goal they were aiming for (be it time or reward-based.)
This should be a basic common sense issue. Do people really not get it?
Hi Jon.
I don’t mind an improved effect for the Rainbow Jellyfish. However, I prefer a very animated texture which scrolls a gradient.
If hopefully this is a precedent for fixing most of the visual issues in GW2 (such as TA Heavy clipping with Greatsword and Staff), then I will be VERY pleased!
This video gets weirder the farther you watch it.
However, I wouldn’t mind seeing the “get down” glitch either.
I think governments should take a closer look at MMO economies.
It would make for a great study into economics, and might give the two-party dumbtatorship ideas to fix the economy before they fall off the next fiscal cliff.
It’s just an aesthetic thing. Don’t like it, don’t buy it. Simple.
Personally, I bought it because I’m obsessed with fire. Burn baby, burn!
Thank you. Now I know who to blacklist.
Also, stop being a jerk who insists on joining teams where people want to run a specific build. Call themselves elitists all you like, but by doing things like this, you’re just forcing yourself on people.
Also, magic find has no use in dungeons, so it’s also quite stupid, to be honest.
We need them to optimize GW2 for WINE, at least.
They had stated there are no plans for a LINUX distribution. So at least let us run it on WINE, pretty please?
Charr are Beast from Beauty and the Beast.
The hunchback, the horns, the fur, even his face is reminiscent of one of the Male charr faces.
Charr, whether they like it or not, have an affinity for Fire because of Steam-based technology and Iron Legion.
Hey Josh and the SAB team. Just an idea for the future SAB levels, but I think you should put in a “glitch” area to the game which is not required for 100% or secrets, and could only be entered by abusing what looks like a glitch. Inside the “glitch-zone” you fight Missingno who steals your baubles and duplicates the potions in your sixth slot!
Perhaps you can even hide another glitch monster out of bounds, where evil, satanic music starts playing, and your save data is erased!
Anyways, I think you should have a glitch easter egg of some sort. My GW2 needs moar creepypasta fuel!
@ Josh:
Apparently it has to do with Mushroom jumping over a mountain. I presume stage 3 because I’ve heard stories of people fighting Frog King’s toads that way. However, I’ve seen another video I will PM you.
Am I the only one who thinks they should at least buff Pistol dmg if they will be nerfing conditions?
Explosive Shot is still really pathetic….
Steal gives me fury and vigor. Yes, I use it. (pve)
My friend just got GW2, but he accidentally chose a European server instead of American.
Can he re-choose his server if he deletes all characters?
Is there a video of this?
“The end result is not pretty”
Now I’m curious…
I hate how people are crying over the boon trait without actually knowing the exact numbers when factoring which trait line it is from, and which traits it would replace.
GoGoGo Sandwhichmancer!
Will it be possible to get Distinction in Applied Jumping after the month of April?
Is it confirmed we can take both? Knowing the traitline is important because it may not result in overall more damage compared to a normal set.
Pretty bad warrior trait if you ask me. Just take the trait for 12% more power when full adrenaline instead.
Predator is not a waste because of the projectiles and sfx. Both of which are very appropriate for Asura.
CM Storymode is the mode newb friendly, because while it’s not as easy as CM, it’s much shorter, and less frustrating.
HOLY FREAKING SKRITT!
ANET JUST LEAKED THE SANDWHICHMANCER! The NEW class in the expansion! I can’t wait!!!
From State of the Game:
Engineer:
To help diversify engineer builds, they have been looking at the hgh builds because of the intense condition pressure.
They are planning interesting changes to healing turret, incendiary powder and elixir S.Healing turret
-initial heal reduced quite a bit
-overcharge and passive heals improved
-overcharge recharge reduced to maybe 20 sec
-overcharge causes water field
-overcharge reduces conditions (their words, not mine)Concern discussed: People might start focusing down turrets. Questions about whether it is strong enough to take the damage. They’ll see about whether they need to change hit points
-Incendiary powder: Talk about 100% uptime burning. In an effort to diversify builds the burns will proc 4 sec burns every 10 sec. 100% on crit.
-Elixir S cannot use utilities when active. No news on whether we can switch kits.
Q: Is there any news about buffing bombs?
A: grenades are too powerful. They might need to be brought down. Might buff bombs in PvP but not in PvE. Bombs are powerful in PvE.Q:Havent grenades been nerfed in the past? Isn’t it too much?
A: We want to bring things up instead of down.Q:What about new builds? Bombs and grenades dominate.
A:Want to create turret builds, but that is not possible now. Gadgets… just not that great…
Please toss us a bone, ANET. It looks like we are being nerfed again.
Can’t watch. What are they saying now? Does it look grim?
Elixir S nerf = No more Tank Kat (RIP!)
Incendiary Powder = This helps with build variety, how exactly?
Healing Turret = More like TF2 dispenser? I actually welcome this change, if it’s done properly.
Overall, it does sound like we’re getting hit with the nerfbat again.
Robert Hrouda appeased the crowd of Rangers. We need someone to appease the angry crowd of Enginerfed.
Where can I read about the upcoming changes?
Also, I’m concerned even a 75% proc for Spirit of Ice still does not justify a skill slot. The Warrior’s Banner of Discipline is basically a flat 15% dmg increase when you consider the fact it increases precision to the point 90% of your attacks are critical hits.
However, if they somehow resurrect the Ritualist’s usefulness in the Ranger, I will be very pleased.
So on GWG2guru an interview reveals now we can get Rox’s quiver.
Is anyone else disappointed, somewhat? Having crafted my Quiver of Swift Flight, it looks nowhere near as good as Rox’s quiver…
Dodge is the key to Guild Wars 2. Later in game there are foes who can OHKO you, such as Subject Alpha, so dodging is very important.
Guardians are also the sturdiest class at level 80. While you have high-recharge main heals, you also have access to skills which heal you through other means, such as traiting your symbols to heal, or traiting yourself to heal each time you apply a boon to allies. There’s even a trait to heal you AND your team each time you dodge!
If you wish to get a feel for a more defensive Guardian, try out the hammer. Using hammer, you can achieve PERMANENT protection on your and your team!
If you wish to go offensive, use Greatsword. The spinning attack is amazing, and the “pull” is great CC (crowd control) in dungeons!
Are you dodging? Are you using your heal?
Guardians are quite sturdy at level 80. Maybe your armor is not up to level? The way guild wars 2 works is the lower your armor compared to your level, the worse you are downscaled.
Oh boy, ANET is good at keeping gem prices high!
I guess investing would be a smart idea in the future…
Could it have to do with glow? Just a theory.
I’d like to see him improved, actually.
Trahearne has (had…) potential, and some people actually like him.
I’m having trouble deciding on armor for a Sylvari Guardian. I want to actually LOOK like a Sylvari, but what armor should I use?
T2 pants clip with ALL shoes, T3 pants clip with TA chest, and TA Pants clip with our Greatsword/Staff poses.
Not to mention all of them have a weird stretching on male characters whenever wielding a weapon (anyone know how to fix this?)
Any ideas what gear to use?
Hey, what does a Guild Tower Shield look like on Guardian, with Aegis? And anyone mind showing me ingame?
I cannot find any YT videos of it.
Thanks!
But if I use cleric’s gear, wont I have a low crit rate?
I’m just trying to decide on a good setup for Guardian before I spend the gold. What do you use? (PvE, Dungeons, FoTM)
Oops. I meant to say Symbols. A Hammer build which heals allies inside symbols.
But is it justified to use Healing Power? Or should I go straight for Berserker?
