Considering as of today my beta character no longer exists without my express permission to delete itself, we may soon be seeing another!
When logging into my main character I always get the red “!” on the training icon, even if I have all the skills and traits already unlocked.
It also occurs every time I change map.
It disappears when I click on it and reappears when relogging or teleporting.
Still no solution? It’s driving me mad.

Got 1 Norn Ranger, 1 Asura Thief, 1 Char Engineer, 1 Sylvari Necromancer, 1 Human female Elementalist, 3 Human male Guardian/Warrior/Mesmer. Human is the race I like the most afterall, so I’ll get a 4th.

Welp, just made a new character and I ended up getting the mail LOR-748 Title-Issueing Error which wiped my GWAMM and HoM rewards out. I wish I had known not to make a new character before this is fixed…
if you really had that title unlocked just log into your gw1 account and go inside the old HoM. This fixed it for me.
Any way to permanently remove this red “!” mark? It’s there every time I log in to my main character, even if I have everithing unlocked.

I check it, training is fine, red “!” disappears. Then I log back in and here it is again, even if training is at max already.
I’ve never had a bugged GWAMM title, I finished 11/50 to finally get my diamond aegis right before the HoM got taken down. I just logged in, got this awesome mail from the golem that told me my “bugged GWAMM title” was taken away from me (which I never had) but with it, EVERYTHING is gone. It’s like I don’t even have a GW1 Account linked.
Can I please finally get my Diamond Aegis? I’ve been waiting way too long for this…
Log back into GW1 to get all your legit stuff back. It has been already said in this thread.

Not gamebreaking, but… let’s say exploitable.
So, i’ve got 8/50 HOM points unlocked and was pretty excited about the HOM being fixed. I went there with my lvl 80 main and received all my newly unlocked skins and the Achievement window said 8/50, so far no problem.
Now comes the strange part.I created a new character (planning on rerolling my mesmer) and looked into the Achievements section. My HOM Titles and Achievements were locked and i couldn’t select the 5/50 title (whatever it’s called, playing with german Text, maybe “Traveler”?) even though i had it unlocked for my account.
I went to the HOM with this character and Kimmes didn’t have the “vendor” dialogue option.So i logged onto my main and tried it again, this time i could access the vendor AND my title again, achievements were back.
Buuut, looking at my hero panel, i noticed that i got 50 points more than before.
Seems like the achievement (and therefore the title) were unlocked AGAIN.I double checked this procedure with my girlfriend on her account, voilà, 150 points extra. (15/50 points on her side).
I tested relogging, the points stayed, but I really didn’t want to try the whole thing again in fear of my account getting banned for exploiting somehow after this all settles down.
For anyone reading this and thinking “Yay, free points”: Don’t. :/
EDIT: Also got the ingame GWAMM mail when this happened…

I was on my lv 80 Guardian. 7984 AP.
Created a new character. No Traveler title and no HoM achievements, so 7884 AP.
Back on my Guardian I still have 7984 AP. 100 more then my new character, but the correct amount. It’s the newly created one that has no HoM achievements but should have them.
Actually…I tried (for science). On the new character I got the mail from the asura telling me I’m not eligible (GW1 vet since 2005) for the points in HoM, revoking them (they were gone). Logged back in to another character, they were unlocked again, reinstating the points I lost.
Exactly. No exploit, but bug on newly created characters.

Same here, but it’s just a bug with how the data is shown, the database seems fine. I still can use the mail carrier I equipped, I have all the skills I had unlocked and I don’t seem to get more achievement points when I re-unlock things I had unlocked before.
Can you also confirm that?
I posted this in the Gwamm thread, but I will post it here as well; After today’s patch (7/28/2015) my HoM rewards got removed from my gw2 account, while I earned them legitimately. Upon log-in, everything was fine, but the moment I created a new character my rewards got stripped. My account is supposed to have a 50/50 Hall of Monuments score, as well as the title: “God walking amongst mere mortals”.
I also tried visiting the HoM again on my gw1 account, it didn’t fix things.
Log in GW1 and go to the HoM. It fixed it for me.
The database is fine. Almost every bug is fixed by doing things like that.
All your stuff is there, you just can’t see it.
So, Scholor Alti stole my HoM Titles. having spent the 7 years in gw1 AND having my accounts linked since launch of GW2 and now not getting my titles, is this part of the bugs or am i missing something?
My opinion? The HoM fix is what caused the achievement bug.
If it’s not too late, I would strongly recommend a rollback so you can fix these bugs at your own speed.
There is no need to rollback. It’s just a visual problem probably. At least it seems with dungeon tracks.
Skill points, skills and such are probably still there.
Anyone can confirm trying to unlock a collection item he already had to see if he gets more achievement points?
My current pvp reward track is ok now, but still all the ones I completed before are gone.
All story part2 achievement got wiped ç_ç

I tried my best to use Hammer as my main weapon in the beta.
Coming from a zerk Guardian, the weapon felt weak and very slow, even with full zerk gear and some ascended stuff (back and accessories).
It usually takes me 2-4 seconds to kill a heavy golem in the pvp area with Guardian and GS, and 5-8 seconds using Scepter+Torch. With Hammer it took me 15-20 seconds.
However the weapon damage should be better for the next beta, not only for the straight buff to all weapon multipliers, but also for the Devastation trait line, that will give a straight 7% buff, plus 300 Ferocity and a lot of Vulnerability. Shiro will also be great with Hammer, because of the infinite backdodge, Impossible Odds and the attack bonus from the healing skill. It’s going to take probably half the time doing the math with those bonus and quickness, gaining decent dps.
As for gameplay, the weapon is very slow. I understand that it’s the feel that they want for this weapon, but some skills are unusable in pvp (and well, to me even in pve), like #5. The most interesting change is #3 however. Still slow as hell probably, but got a 75% buff. If you get hit by that, well, you deserve it.

I’m actually more concerned about Mistfire Wolf. It would really fit the Revenant and also people paid for it.
Also Antitoxin Spray got removed however. Am I wrong?
Yeah, I understand that changing Ventari healing or elite may be a problem. There could be however fixed skills and changable skills.

Revevant as a class doesn’t have a wide weapon selection. 1 weaponset for condi (mace+axe) feels enough to me.
You can increase condi output with a fixed Mallyx (not the current one of course) and with traits.
There is no need to make another weapon a condi one, reducing the raw damage.
You solve this issue and then threads will start with “where is my power weapon?”
either remove weapon swap for rev again or give ele and engi weapon swap, let me tell you why.
Ele is a light armor class
Engi is a medium armor class
and rev is a heavy armor class
Not this again…
Ele has 20 weaponskills and conjured weapons
Engi has 5 toolbelt skills and a crapton of kits
Seriously, have you played those classes? You don’t feel any need for weaponswap on them. I’ve played Revenant and it desperately needed weaponswap.
Just to clarify, I’m not going to use any weapon specific trait except the “dual wielding” one in devastation (that is not so specific after all).
I don’t think most of them are good or really useful atm.
Meaning that no trait line forces you to use any specific weapon (except dual wield on devastation if you want 150 ferocity, but with 2 weapon sets that’s not a problem… oh, look, weaponswap!)
Edit: oh, and you’re not even forced to use davastation+shiro.

When I tested the Revenant during the beta trial, I didn’t get that feeling. I don’t understand why people keep saying this. Is it because each weapon is release along with the Legend? I’d think that’s more lore-based history on how a Revenant learns to use the weaponry they are able to use rather than how they are supposed to function mechanically with Legends. Maybe I’m wrong?
You are completely right. I keep saying that in every thread that brings up this subject.
Hammer has great sinergy with Shiro skills, more then Jalis.
6 is great because is less risky, you can used without a 99% death. 7, 9 and and 0 are great to keep distance. 9 also compensates for the slow hammer.
Staff is better with Jalis then with Ventari, while hammer is the best option given the tablet managing imo. The staff provides some healing that actually seems pretty nice with a tanking legend, also Jalis upkeep is better close range.
Already mentioned Ventari and hammer.
Staff + shiro, jallis & evocation traits will have insane sustain from the looks of it thanks to all the healing, stability, retaliation, life siphons and projectile deflects.
They pared Ventari and staff because Ventari is a healer legend and staff is a healing oriented weapon. I personally think that staff is not as good as hammer with Ventari.

I think it will be focused on boons, that is something Revenant lacks a lot at the moment. And boons are not underpowered at all.

Weapon swap was a quick band-aid on a much deeper problem with the class. But no one wants to talk about how energy is boring and passive…
You don’t like energy management, I actually do, so it’s just your opinion.
Weaponswap is not meant as a solution for the many problems the class has, but for only 1 problem: the lack of weaponskill swap. Revenant was the only class without a way to replace skills from 1 to 5. So yeah, weaponswap is a solution for the lack of weaponswap. Makes sense if you think about it.
Other suggestions for 1-5 replacement are crap (conjured weapons, weaponswap on legendswap and so on). Weaponswap is actually the best solution and was much appreciated by the community.
OP is basically asking for an elementalist with utility skills on the left side of the keyboard, but he doesn’t even realize it.
Again, the only mistake was not releasing it with weaponswap from the beginning. That initial error generated those kind of threads and strange suggestions that may sound original, but are just a very limited way to weaponswap afterall.
But I think I’ll follow my own advice and I’ll stop bumping this useless thread.

I can’t be sure because it didn’t happen, however there were many posts suggesting weaponswap and those were upvoted. You’d probably lose that copper.

As I told you in the other trait, you are under the impression that
1) You get fury on stunbreak, always, so also on legendswap.
2) When you get Fury your whole crit chance it 50% higherBoth are wrong.
1) You get fury if you stunbreak while you are stunned. Unless you are stunned 100% of the time, I can’t see how are you supposed to get 100% fury uptime. You don’t usually get stunned a lot, expecially in pve. And this isn’t even really good, since you’re forced out of your legend, maybe going to a legend where you have things on cd, or maybe you can’t even legendswap because it’s on cd.
2) Only our crit rate bonus from fury is 50% stronger, meaning you get +30% crit rate under fury instead of the normal 20%. It’s a 10% difference and Roy confirmed it (it wasn’t clear).According to the post on changes I thought legend swap lost it’s CD so yo can change in between them like they were kits, so the fury proc should change each time you swap as it has 5 seconds of ICD… the thing is I did misread that and it’s just that they made it INSTANT CAST. Which then ruins a lot of the things I thought Revenant Could Achieve. As for Roiling Mists if the desired effect is increasing fury’s effect from 20% crit to 30% crit they should fix the tooltip, as it’s understood that it affects total crit chance and not only fury.
As I see it Legend swap shouldn’t have a CD if weaponswap has a CD, or a CD reduction trait at least simply because it would allow to manage energy and make the profession feel much more fluid.
Legendswap with no cd = infinite energy, so no.
You still don’t get what legendswap is for and how Revenant is supposed to work.

Thanks for adding a recipe to change stats on Ascended weapon and armor. It really helped a lot with random drops, making them worthwile, and also giving something to really make the difference from exotic gear.
However the same could be done for accessories, right?

Ele should be nerfed, atm it’s too strong and you even want another damage modifier? Sure, adept -20% damage, is it enough?
If you can’t do dps with ele then simply l2p.
And overloads are pretty strong (fire overload can kill heavy golems without zerk gear…)

Well, that’s pre-patch necro and ele. Now it’s pretty much 10 seconds kill on any necro.
I don’t usually weaponswap a lot, while I do use a lot the F1 class mechanics.
Is it confusing to spam adrenaline skill on warrior and also having to swap from time to time? Nope.
Is it confusing to constantly spam F1 on guardian (renewed justice) and also use the other skills, while also swapping? Nope.
Is it confusing doing 4 (soon 5) shatters on mesmer and also having to swap? You get the idea.
It may be harder to manage more skills and stuff, but if making the class harder to use opens up new possibilities, I’m fine with it.
Plus Revenant will never be a button smashing class like ele or thief. You can’t simply keep swapping weapon and spam skills, because you have an energy cost.
You can give Revenant >9000 sets of weapons, the skill throughput will always be the same as 1 or 2 weapons.
Plus that’s not even comparable to what Engi has to do with 5 toolbelt skills plus many kits.

Imo, Devastation is dull as hell.
There’s really nothing interesting as a concept in the whole traitline besides last 2 GMs: Life Siphon when flanking and Stability remover.
I actually like Devastation a lot. It’s pretty straightforward vulnerability+damage multipliers for PvE, while having block bypass and stability removal for PvP. Even tank and healer builds may like it for the syphons.
It’s a trait line that is good for probably every Revenant build, like Invocation.
