Agreed, the vigil legs definitely cause the middle portion of the character model to be cut in half, got a few screens to prove it as well. Hope it gets resolved soon.

There’s also an additional problem.
When the instance owner disconnects it’s all fine but when he reconnects the whole party gets screwed since he spawns outside the dungeon.With some groups we kinda joke that if you dc and you’re the instance owner go get a drink and let us finish the run first.
Can’t you just make people spawn inside as a quick fix for the moment?
reconnecting shouldn’t kick you, if he switches characters however, it will. As long as he reconnects, logs on the SAME character, then it’s fine.
I think if I have the time and find a software recorder, i’d be keen to do it with a greatsword. It’s entirely possible and not at all too difficult. For some reason, I agree with most of his skill choice but I think instead of the shout skill save yourself, using the spirit shield would be superior (unless they nerfed it so that the shield dies really quick now? in that case yeah). Otherwise, berserker gear would also help increase killing speed.
Did any of you do another event prior to fighting dragon? It’s possible you’re hitting the DR if you completed another event beforehand.
No, most of the time the only other event I did was another dragon event 3 hours before. In fact, I tried doing an event before hand in teq first to see if i get reduced EXP and I didn’t (the one closest to him with the 5 minutes defence against the krait). Surprisely, that particular time, I got chest from him. That is a pretty steep DR if I hit it for doing almost nothing before hand lol.
Also, I didn’t know DR makes the chest disappear o.O
It’s getting pretty bad this bug, not only am i getting like 800 exp on a level 80 character, I don’t think i’ve got one single chest from teq or shatterer and i’ve killed them about 5 times today at least

Hmm the drop rate of t6 has been nerfed worst than before any of the patches prior to 28th Jan. Moldy bag drop rate seems to be same as pre patch 28th jan. T5 drop rate seems to have remained same or increased since 28th jan
I think whatever changes they implemented on should be reverted back to normal until they can fix whatever is wrong with this. On my other post, I’ve been getting event rewards extremely low for my lvl 80 character (exp ranging from 723 to 4823 compared to what it should be 9.9k and 16k. I feel like these changes are what is also related to the dragon chest not spawning as well.. Obviously, something is breaking here. Also, I would like to mention jormag has not bugged out on me in terms of exp and chest as yet (since its an 80 zone?)

I am happy as long as they worked properly. It is when they are not working and applied as a patch which was not tested properly that I get unhappy.
Yea, in grenth event phase 2, most people were reporting missing monsters and half the time we were hitting invisible monsters. This was never like this in the past.
Doesn’t the newer broom have built in speakers inside them to make airplane noises?

Mm.. killed a few vets and only two registered for me. I was beginning to think I had to get the last hit to get the vet kill to count but then they would mean kill stealing is possible now.
I think alot of people are mad, cus the gw1 players made anet big and in return they get a new game that’s soooo dumbed down,, it’s stupid. Have you read the skill descriptions… and where are all the skills… like whuuut??? all the gw strategy is gone,, they changed the way gear & dungeons work. They just sold us out. They care more about the money than they do about the players and the game.

Sometimes you really try to be respectful but when certain things, real bugs, not some whiny kid wanting trinity back, aren’t fixed or acknowledge yet some other unimportant less game breaking bug is taken priority, its really a kitten in your face :o
I mean, there are times where faith is restored, that they do seem to genuinely care about their players, then other times you just feel all they care about is the money.
At this stage and with Anet’s record with updates so far, it seems any update they throw out will break more things than it fixes. It is the series of hot fixes which gets release out very very slowly, which brings us bak to the start and i.e no actual progression.
I feared this would happen. I had hoped anet had been aware of this issue and had some counter for it (i.e kicking kicks everyone or no one else can join a fractal, it must be the same 5 people) but I guess not
Here’s something funny, just killed shatterer, no chest as usual and to add to it, my event completion award is 723 exp 15 karma?!!!!!
No I haven’t hit dr and as you can see in my other post, at least I got 9k exp from my last shatterer (no chest).
The only thing I did before this is a jormag which gave me a chest and a teq which didn’t give me a chest..
My only wish is that prioritize bugs that are actually game breaking… rather than reporting an aesthetic bug..
It is not just simply invisible. It is simply not there because if it was invisible at least we could still loot it

I’m so elite I solo my dungeons. I do wish exotics was the highest tier. Adding ascended gear as a new tier just doesn’t justify anything for me lol

Yeah, many of my concerns and bugs go unanswered. Like for example, the simple text of the passive speed buffs for most of the class is incorrect (signets says 10 %, bonus says 25 %). You would think something like this would be easily fit in on one of the smaller patches but..
Grenth was hard to begin with, then they went and made it impossible for the giggles. It was hard mainly because most of the people on the map weren’t there to do the event, thus making it have unnecessarily excess of mobs.
So, I just finish the dragon chest, got gold medal and no chest? some people got it apparently but a bunch of us didn’t.

Just to confirm, the chest and daily at the end of Maw is separate for each player right? so if 3 lvl 20s and 1 lvl 4 do lvl 20 fractal, the 3 lvl 20s will get the daily and chest in accordance to their level? while the level 4 gets his lvl 4 chest and daily.
I like how even though 90 % of the post here are against it, it’s still going to happen without a post saying we considered what you have said but for the greater good of the future, it will still happen
They told us we’d be able to complete Dailies by doing only a few of them, not having to do all 5.
They lied, and you have to do all 5.
I also thought that and reread it and it says “We’ll add support so daily achievements will be different each day of the week, which will help drive players to different areas of the world and play together. Later, we’ll also be adding a system that lets you complete a subgroup of achievements to fulfill your daily. For example, if there are 6 daily achievements available, you’ll only need to do 4 of the 6, so you can choose the achievements that you’re most interested in.” So I suppose, they will add it in the future and was not saying this current update.. I wish they didn’t do anything at all till it was properly in place.
So after that little patch, i’m still getting random anet errors for no reason at all.
Also, I suspect the daily revive is a bit buggy too…. At first it seems to only work for defeated players but then I realise of the 5 downed people I revived, 2 of them gave me achievement for it
If they did, these people should get fired after failing to anticipate so many things…
I’m slowly losing faith in this game as well. I seriously held on for awhile, trying to trust anet to actually listen to feedback but yeah.. why nerf the spirit weapons? were they really that OP. Not to mention the amount of bugs they have introduced into this game with this patch. Constant DC and mini roll backs!!
Oh god, i was just at shatterer and the event was at “vigil is collecting weaponry” I get disconnected and I relog and now it says “vigion and minions are working to contain threat etc” wtf? during that 20 seconds that event disappeared???
So… with this now full on released update, it seems many things are not working properly. Dailies for example, the combo killer has issues… questionable crafting daily although its not that hard just craft 10 ores but still, making us gather 20 ores was a better idea… 25 underwater kills? I think I prefer my 60 kills daily.
I thought we only had to do 4 of the 6 dailies when I first heard about this release?
Also, i’m constantly getting disconnected and anet error report just by standing around doing nothing… and i’m hearing a lot of mini rollbacks a lot of people are getting.
Also TP is buggy and laggy as hell atm, stay away until its stable if you don’t want to lose money :/

Eh, well i’m just not in a hurry to get mine at all even though I have the money. 600g for my dusk and 500g for the colossus just isn’t worth it in my opinion.
I think this is something they can definitely improve on, not so much cross zone but just within the map. For example, why can we walk to a place on the map without a loading screen but if we waypoint to a zone on the same map we have a loading screen? I’m sure we all know by now that if we are close enough to a waypoint and we use it, we don’t get a loading screen but after a certain distance we automatically get one. The limit of portal ability is also the same distance as a non loading screened waypoint.
Because these type of people exist, I’m very wary when I pug with a group which consist of more than 3 guildies. The red light for me is when they’re usually ill mannered, perform badly and bad mouth you a lot for no reason. I once left an AC group half way because one of the players constantly harassed me even though I was trying to provide him with information he asked for, then he blames me for not telling him earlier etc etc. I notice the other 3 were in the same guild and talking in the same illed manner so I left after boss. Afterwards of course they pmed me and called me more names but I’m just thankful I didn’t have to experienced a kick at the end, regardless if it would have happened or not.
Of course, that’s why you don’t take any of that group into a dungeon with you. The point is that you can very easily eliminate that extra time by switching to your normal gear.
And if we cared so much that someone is getting more stuffs, then we’d just use mf ourselves. Heck, I do use it, just not for dungeons. Besides, in something easy like CoF, you get most of the better drops from chests, which mf doesn’t affect. So as far as money/time goes, its better off without it anyway. Also, you can’t play your maximum potential if your using mf gear. I don’t see what’s so hard to understand about that. And if percentages are so empty, why do you even use mf gear? That’s all it is, an increased percentage.The assumption that only good players use mf gear is also very lulzy as well.
No the incorrect assumption is that all MF players are bad players who will always be the one to let the team down when what you wear and how well do you are two separate things.
I disagree with people saying magic find doesn’t contribute to the group. Magic find raises personal morale to kill that monster and get good loot, thus, bringing the inner hot blooded soul inside you to fight harder, stronger and to do the impossible!
That alone makes that stat OP in my opinion and probably needs a nerf. Probably should remove the effect where if we stack 120% + of Magic find, we activate our special ability which makes us always the last man alive during a wipe and soloed the boss at 30 % hp and revive the guy who was so busy complaining about magic find during battle and died many times.

I was wondering how I got about getting a refund. You see, I recently bought the game and over a month or so got to level 80, and raised a few crafters. I was very much looking forward to hitting 80 and gearing up via the lovely crafted recipes, and other stuff, and then maybe going into dungeons.
I blew all the gold I had carefully saved on levelling appropriate crafts, and then making myself a set of magic find gear to better my chances of getting necessary drops to make the gear. I was expecting for it to take a while. After what seemed like 10 minutes I stopped getting drops. Almost before I had even started! What’s going on, I asked in guild and map chat, to then be told about Diminishing Returns.
Having read up on the phenomenon I’m shocked that any MMO dev team would hinder players in this way, an invasive mechanism effectively governing how people play. So what do I have to do – buy gems, and sell them for gold, in order to buy my crafting mats from the TP? I think not.
Seriously, I’m surprised people haven’t been leaving in droves over this issue. And that I cannot find more about it in these forums.

Farming for mats does seem like an impossible fleet though (if you don’t buy from TP) but then and again what isn’t. I wish Anet would just admit that their game is a grind. There is no shame to it.
