well its not a pvp centric change, but they should stop making outfits as “all or nothing” sets, if they let us buy the outfit and use separate parts then they would make a lot of money, both on all of the outfits that we’d all undoubtedly buy,
and also on transmutation crystals.
i can’t think of a single outfit that doesn’t have atleast one part that i’d buy it for,
but on the flip side there is’nt a whole outfit i’ll spend my money on.
On Tuesday we will become the ultimate nightmare for zerker specs,

skill bar is great, its a small part of the transparency that this game needs so we know what to expect,

for a long while i’ve been playing an icy themed guardian in hotjoin (its not a serious competitive build)
i’ve been running glacial heart, Ice and Chilling sigils aswell as Svanir runes, its been a pretty fun build and the chilled uptime is great!
plus the ice block synergises well with renewed focus to get you back from the doors of death.
looking forward to the change! but yeah it could use some more work,
like “hammer attacks deal additional damage to Chilled targets.”

for my suggestion:
Mortar should become a kit, upon using the kit you stop moving and the mortar is placed infront of you(its purely aesthetic), clicking the skill again will “pick up” the mortar and let you move.
there could even be a cast time on activating/deactivating if needed for balance.
the mortar skills will now be tied to the engi rather than an object, so now they will scale with stats and have the ability to crit.
naturally being an elite and immobilizing the user i’d expect the skills to hit harder than with other kits.
share your thoughts and suggestions on how to bring this long forgotten elite back into play!

i use launch personal battering ram in my static discharge build because it already hits for 2-3k, getting a 20% buff
heck i might even try A.E.D again since it will remove conditions when it procs!

My suggestion is that you move Physical Training to Adept and maybe move Short Temper up
my GSzerker uses short temper, you just broke my build XD
imho the change to arcing slice will really buff GS after the patch, the 5% damage nerf to whirl and 100b will barely be noticeable, but following up your 100b with an 8k arcing slice will definitely be noticeable! things still moving? throw in a final thrust!
i’m not a fan of the adrenaline nerf though, so we’ll have to see how things pan out.

me too, i click skills and they activate afew seconds later,
its not always like this but recently its been happening quite alot.
no lag on other games/streaming.
i think this “buff” was to put salt in the wound.
its a useless heal on a class that has arguably one of the best heals (Consume Conditions)
how it should be:
Signet of Vampirism
Steal health when you attack.
X damage (low amount)
Y Healing (scales with healing power)
Active: increase the effectiveness of all Life Steals by Z% for 10 seconds.
NO ICDs
it’ll pretty much work like signet of malice, but with a tiny amount of damage and an active that buffs all of your other life stealing effects.

this isn’t solely about the CC…this is about the ridiculously high damage you can deal even with the auto chain, but yeah,make 1 mistake and my stun chain of 4k crits begins.
the damage is too high for the weapon, i’m not arguing against the CCs,
it is a CC weapon it should have good CCs just not damage numbers that you’d expect to see with greatsword/axe.
its the same with any skill really.
you should feel pitty on the rangers who’ve cast Barrage which will keep AoEing for 12 seconds with no way for the ranger to stop it. (potentially triggering a maximum of 60 Retaliations)
or an ele using Meteor Shower could potentially get 72 retailation procs if every meteor hits the max targets.

tip for playing with condi ele, you can use Glyph of Elemental Power in fire attunement before the fight starts and then switch to earth attenement, you will still cause burning with your attacks
1. make staff #1 a condition based skill
2. make axe #1 cleave 3 targets
3. remove the god-awful ICDs from Signet of Vampirism
i once did the calculations and if i remember correctly you’d have to do something like 32,000 damage in 6 seconds to heal for similar amounts to the signet.
the percentage is just way too low, imho warrior and guardian heals should have been the other way around.
Defiant Stance works exactly like Mark of Protection from GW1 which would fit perfectly on a guardian.
and Litany of Wrath would fit perfectly in a warrior zerker build, just rename it “Berzerker’s Bloodlust” or something. pop endure pain and this and use 100b = profit!
i was almost certain axe 2 would have had its channel cut after seeing them do it with ranger and thieves long duration channels, but alas, no.
i was almost certain staff auto would become condition based after seeing them do it with warrior rifle and mesmer scepter, but alas, no.
i was almost certain Parasitic Contagion would heal for 8% of condition damage after seeing them do it with thieves Invigorating Precision, but alas, no.
also agree with OP, axe auto deals stupidly low damage and its a power weapon,
so it is useless for anything other than hitting #2.
the huge lich nerf was also a kick in the teeth.

if so i whole-heartedly agree, and i’ll be extremely disappointed if a fix isn’t in the feature patch.
for me the biggest thing is Rabid giving you a respectable amount of crit chance, and most condi specs will have some form of “on crit” condition.
warrior has Precise Strikes
engi has Incendiary Powder and Sharpshooter
necro has Barbed Precision and Withering Precision
mesmer has Sharper Images
ranger has Sharpened Edges
you can also use Earth Sigil to add even more bleed.
none of these will work effectively with a carrion build.
