i completed it in what felt like a timely manner with only one other person and it was fun. it was also our first time in there and we were both unaware of what would happen. it was exciting and not tedious at all

also if you click where the revive button will be you’ll automatically revive when the timer is up
while we’re at it, why not allow chat to continue logging even while in character select? i feel uneasy while switching characters because if anyone whispers me i won’t see it

If a game ends in a tie, then it looks at the total player scores for the teams.
So in the above example, the red team had a higher player score total than the blue team, so red won.

players, mesmers included, get revealed if they do any kind of direct damage that is not derived from an illusion. note that mind wrack and cry of frustration will reveal you
decoy is a unique stealth ability because it will always cloak you regardless of being revealed; an effect that normally makes one immune to stealth. but you can still be revealed out of decoy’s stealth just the same
either you started a finisher before you had quickness or quickness faded before you completed finishing

at first it seems the charr is faster (no phantasmal haste) and then it seems like the norn catches up? it is so inconsistent
That can simply be explained with a tad-bit of network lag. You only need a small amount to cause a test like the one you made the gif of to become really crazy really fast. The only reliable way to test this sort of thing is what I did: fraps it and count the frames.
Additionally, swordsmen happen to be one of the 2 phantasms that are completely uneffected by phantasmal haste.
the way swordsman is said to be completely unaffected is why i tested and made that gif, and i guess that is exactly why it’s so inconsistent

if you have stealth and decoy and one ends before the other, you will no longer appear to be transparent but you remain invisible to enemies.
a fun way to test this is to use any stealth skill then use the mystic fountain in the obisidian sanctum. this can be used to your benefit; i find opaqueness to be advantageous while making precision jumps and being invisible makes it all the better.
also, you will always become revealed if you deal direct damage while stealthed that doesn’t include an illusion. mind wrack and cry of frustration will reveal you, and i’ve found mirror blade and winds of chaos to be notorious of unexpectedly revealing you due to their nature of being bouncing projectiles

The only Phantasms it didn’t affect were iDisenchanter and iDefender. It affects them now. However, that one was attributed (by players) to be intentional as the two that were not affected were utility Phantasms, not weapon Phantasms. ANet fixed it while nerfing our profession.
yet every other illusion and phantasm trait/signet/whatever affected them
also it wasn’t affecting the swordsman and the mage, and the warden’s attack speed was ridiculous
there was a time when it wasn’t actually affecting the attack speed of certain phantasms
defender is good if you equip signet of illusions and stack toughness
i forgot that Orb of Light also uses the 2nd animation
every race has two animations available when using the staff auto-attack skills Winds of Chaos, Necrotic Grasp, Water Blast, Chain Lightning, and Stoning.
but Charr and Asura only use 1 of them, and the 2nd can only be seen when using Fireball.

you’ll notice the projectiles; they’re high for the first animation and then low from the second animation, but the charr repeats the first one.
