i think skills that don’t use a target are unreliable to use while the pet is moving

This is hilarious seeing how beastmater ranger is one of the most OP specs in the game right now.

So my jaguar hits for 4k crit on a glass cannon spec while I wear soldier amulet… So does an ele with burning speed or even higher with fire grab or churning earth. Not to mention, all those skills are also aoe while the pet’s is just 1 target.
ever used a river drake?
If you get hit by the river drake’s 2 second windup tail swipe, you are a MORON.
The drake literally winds his tail back and roots himself in place before doing it, and because the drake has kitten poor precisions like wolves and any pet that isn’t a raven or cat, at best their autoattacks regularly hit for 800-900 damage noncrit.
tail swipe is not restricted to the river drake, and it hits 5 targets for about 2000 damage with a 1.25 cast time
i’m talking about lightning breath; it hits 15 times for about 900 damage each
also their auto-attack cleaves

ever used a river drake?
tracking is pretty lax in this game. did you play guild wars?
with no traits or sigils:
- disable auto attack
- gain adrenaline with something
- connect with a burst skill on a foe
- swap weapon set
- connect with another burst skill
it won’t work if:
- you have 5 points in Discipline
- the weapon you switch to has a Sigil of Hydromancy or Geomancy
- Furious, Sigil of Fire or Sigil of Air trigger during the effects of flurry or combustive shot
it results in a burst skill effect that is weaker than it would be with 1 bar of adrenaline
- Skull Crack, Earthshaker and Whirling Strike won’t stun
- Arcing Slice won’t grant fury
- Eviscerate, Kill Shot and Forceful Shot inflict low damage
- Combustive Shot does nothing
burst skills do not immediately drain adrenaline when they connect, only when followed up with a skill or certain effect
this occurrence affects a number of things, including the possibility of missing out on the effects of Berserker’s Power and Heightened Focus during flurry’s channeling
- connecting with a burst skill and immediately following it up with Healing Surge will result in a stage 1 adrenaline heal instead of 0, even if you used a burst skill with 2 or 3 bars
- connecting with a burst skill and immediately following it up with FLURRY, unfortunately, inflicts an EQUAL STAGED ADRENALINE BURST EFFECT and is highly exploitable!
i would suggest draining adrenaline when the burst skill completes

i think being able to switch out utilities that are recharging while out of combat would be fun and that it would ease some frustration
retain the recharge timer of the swapped out utility to keep it balanced

where did they say it? anet mentioned they were looking at freecam but they were concerned about seeing weirdness outside of the map. maybe they’re working on it

It’s not a bug, they removed haste stomping. The flag will still drop it just has a set amount of time now.

quickness will only affect a finisher if the duration is long enough to last from start to finish
warriors are still weak against boons
warriors were designed to be supported by classes with boon control

food buffs are only removed when entering arenas or tournaments
