if you use the mantras yes, but if you ready them, you can switch freely, same for engi turrets, etc., and then use whatever skill you replaced them with immediately (again unless you have a conflict with underwater skills causing it to go on cooldown… I can make a skill with like 20s cooldown go on a 90s cooldown because of this… it is NOT fun). I use that to recharge mantras if I don’t use up all I have readied. Otherwise I’m either dealing with having a skill I can only ‘half’ use and then have to spend 2s recharging it that I could be doing something else.

The difference, though, is that all those are lost when you switch, and the elemental is not. For the elemental elite, the skills cooldown does not start until the elemental dies. For mantra’s, the cooldown is based on when you ready them (and since the skill is replaced you don’t see this cooldown unless you switch the skill), until you ‘use’ all the charges, at which time it goes on the full cooldown again.

Easy fix I’d think since they already do it with turrets, then again this is a summoned creature so maybe not? It’s possible they may have this addressed in the patch, when they give both of the elemental glyphs a secondary activation. We’ll know in a few days. Correct behavior should be destroying the elemental upon skill switch.

I have never seen things like that, except for 1 bug with a certain tonic that sometimes does this. (I think you also have to be using the broom but not sure, never tried to do it, just have seen it in LA, and eventually I think it crashes the person doing it)

I wonder if this is something with your graphics card or drivers.

If they fix the confusion duration they better fix the inconsistency of the cooldown on this rune and nerf it again. I do not have the severe hatred many have of condi, but I don’t care to play it as much as power in WvW. This rune though is itself a bit overpowered even with the +duration not functioning. But the 6th rune bonus is not in line with other similar runes. 15s cooldown… and 5 stacks… already for 8 seconds? Really? >.>

I mean, a build that has no confusion application in it at all can apply 8 stacks for 5+ seconds just because of this rune.

Go look at all the other runes, and realize how long between activation they really are. Some seem as strong, or have faster cooldowns… until you look at what they require to activate. Elite skill, or Heal skill. Elite requirement essentially negates any cooldown they have listed because almost every elite is 90s or more. And even then, they don’t apply 5 stacks of a condition.

No, for this to be fixed correctly, it needs to be properly balanced as well. Likely reduce the 4th rune bonus to 2 stacks, perhaps change cooldown to 20s, and change the 6th to probably 3 stacks, leave at 8s duration, cooldown 20-25s although maybe 15s would still be fine, or leave at 5 stacks, duration 5s, cooldown 25s. Something along those lines would be much more similar to other runes
(I think only similar ‘op’ rune would be Rune of Grenth, and that I would say surely needs a cooldown change except… it’s also tied to heal skill and not to a lot of cc effects)

No but it goes to another issue with any skill that ‘changes’ to another type while in use. Apparently they missed fixing this individual skill and should be changed to destroy the elemental the same way engineer turrets or mesmer mantras are destroyed when you change the skill

I remember being on my Thief in WvW (d/d), finding a Necro MM, SR’d, walked up, backstab and then just attacked with 1 because he was apparently afk. The minions all turned to look at me, but not one did anything at all. It was like they were saying, “Go for it”. I almost walked away and let that necro live because that was just sad… (then again… don’t afk in the middle of the map of your enemy’s borderland)

This definitely needs fixed because minions are practically useless… unless you are attacking a gate or forcing their actions like Flesh Golem/Bone Fiend. I felt they were useless 1-2 years ago, and I know it’s worse now.

But, I am sure this is known and is apparently not an easy fix. It has been mentioned many times before, and can’t really expect them to keep addressing it in the forums every time someone brings it up. I don’t look at the forums often so it’s possible I’ve missed a comment by Arenanet before.

If you are still getting this crash and haven’t put in a support ticket, definitely do so and maybe they can figure out a solution for your situation, as it appears the issues you are getting are different from what they fixed.

Yes, in a situation where say Stonemist is flipped routinely, that isn’t an issue, but it should never be able to have any defenses completely indestructible. It should be another liability, not an almost impenetrable fortress. As for keeps, I have nothing wrong with that, as long as you can only upgrade your home keep that way.

Or, thinking about it, this: If you have the outnumbered buff, you are able to do damage to even this ‘otherwise indestructible’ siege, and perhaps a little extra damage to siege. That may be the fairest modification to your suggestion and make the outnumbered actually do something.
(I think “outnumbered” needs other things fixed, something to help balance a server that is severely mismatched regardless if I’m on the server that has the superior numbers or dealing with other servers that do while I have say 5. Been in just about every situation and it isn’t enjoyable to be giving or receiving those zergs)

1) Defensive Upgrade Siege Weapons need to become undestructable. So Cannons, Mortars and Oils should not be destroyable, once a Tower/Keep/Castle has been upgraded with them.

Just….no That would make things worse, not better. I hate losing everything to a large zerg, but I’d want to, you know, actually be able to take things with a group of say 5, even if 1 person is defending. Even more, Stonemist cannons are used by a larger server to troll and kill smaller servers. Think about it, one side is easily able to defend it enough to upgrade it, and then stands outside of it in cannon range, killing people.

As for this Siege Disabler, I’m against it. Rams and golems take doors down way too fast right now, and I assume they are intending this idea to be a counter. However, this isn’t what it will be primarily used for. Disabling defenders siege is what you will see. It will have no effect on a coordinated golem rush because they can just rotate shields. I don’t care how many attackers a group has, they should not be able to take down a gate in less than a minute, because no one knows something is under attack for the first 30 seconds, so even if you head to it the moment you see it contested, the gate will be down and they will be in the lord’s room. This is difficult to balance though because a small force should be able to take a tower or keep that isn’t defended in reasonable time, but a huge force should not be able to take it before anyone even knows it’s under attack.

It is very frustrating to put a lot of effort into defending something, only to see a zerg take down the gate before anyone can make it to the tower. And it is true, if something is not upgraded, everyone just gives up on that and goes to the next tower they might attack instead. WvW needs something done to help fix it, but I do not see this as being a good thing at all. It will encourage and give advantage to a zerg more than it will benefit defenders.

This will be a great addition to the current WvW meta if:

Zoom hack is fixed.
Trick requires Line of Sight
De-stealths/causes reveal (5s) on cast.

You must implement the above so that the attackers don’t disable all defensive siege. And defenders are visible for the offense to react before they are disabled.

They stated it does give revealed if in stealth, although not 5s of course. I don’t think supply/stealth traps should reveal (they do), but most definitely tricks should. I am sure it is going to require LoS because it’s a projectile being thrown, but since it’s an aoe when it hits the ground that won’t matter at all.

Everyone always says that “it’s not my connection or my computer because other games work fine”… Here is the thing. GW2 isn’t other games, and you disconnecting while others don’t, means it’s probably not the servers at fault. It very well could be your provider, or some other isp between you and Anet. And just basically attacking them could get a thread ignored.

If you want help on that, you will need to give them reports, atm I forget where I saw how to do that.

Edit: I’ve seen people say things like that, and it turned out to be their connection or their computer after all. I spent days arguing with someone that his issues weren’t caused by gw2. Eventually, his issues got worse and he finally had another game do the same thing. I’m not saying GW2 is perfect, but it isn’t always at fault either.

Here’s a couple that always bugged me. (get it? TEEHEE)

Magic Bullet goes on a 3 sec cd if used right after a dodge roll where landing would require the skill to auto-face.

Swap (and similarly Decoy) cancels the current channel, despite being instant. Unsure if it’s intended behavior, but it sucks nonetheless.

I had noticed swap and decoy doing that but had forgotten because I was busy at the time. Decoy I found out does that in the dredge fractal at the console… lol.

I really don’t know why I didn’t think about that with magic bullet, because it’s always annoying me on mesmer. It isn’t just a dodge roll though, because if you are not pretty much directly facing your target, it goes on the typical self-interrupted cooldown instead of turning to fire. I have messed myself up so many times that way. I expect my attack to go toward whatever I have targeted, not rely on what I’m facing, well… except like illusionary wave. I want that to go where I’m facing but magic bullet doesn’t make sense to behave that way.

I have seen that happen, where I’m pushing to go forward nothing happens, but if you also press q/e it will then let you move forward. But yes, that is a different issue from the getting stuck and unable to move at all.

Mostly I hear about the issue on ele and lightning flash. I have been playing thief a lot in wvw but don’t really have that happen (it may have something to do with how I play with not getting stuck often, idk, although I do use steal and shadowsteps of course. I think I’ve had to do an emote only 1-3 times in the past few months or so, although perhaps the times I was stuck I was also immobilized and dying too fast to react. The last time I had to do an emote was just a few days ago, though.

Guildee though has had to do it almost daily on his ele >.<

Yes, when you use it from the bank window, it uses the 1 charge, and puts the kit in the bank… but it puts it in the first free available slot, so it will take you quite a while to find if you have a lot of stuff

If you want to have bank open and use kits, etc, open your inventory window as well and do it there, then move to bank if needed.

Umm… I think there is a bit of confusing communication here, or just that I am confused.

I assume Papillon is trying to get to Sea of Sorrows Borderland and is unable? Only reasons I can think of that you would be unable to do so is if there is a queue which in turn you’d have to wait to enter but it tells you that so assuming that isn’t the case, that you are actually on a different server (which I’m assuming also isn’t the issue here, just covering everything), a patch (or weekly reset) has kicked everyone out which you wouldn’t be able to enter any wvw if that is the case, and would only last a few minutes after updating (or after the weekly reset), or since none of your characters can enter it it may be possible that your files are damaged and need repaired.

Very well known from even the Beta weekend events before it was released. No examples are needed. It floats on the back because otherwise it would clip even more. There are a lot of armor combinations, and body sizes, so it isn’t really viable to eliminate all of them. Partly I think this is why they are more interested in giving us new outfits than armors because those are a lot easier to eliminate/prevent clipping issues.

I didn’t see any of these problems with it, although I waited and did it just before Dragon’s Reach p1 was released, also… mesmer… Most I think were just the typical release day bugs, and were fixed, but the more recent ones would definitely be an issue. I didn’t get downed on it when I did it, though, so I didn’t run into these problems. I’d suggest having someone with you, that should avoid the downed and resetting issue, well, as long as someone is alive. It’s intended to be done with others, although it is definitely possible to do alone, just more difficult, especially if you are squishy. On the ac, I’d say to immediately get off of it when something appears on the wall, as I do remember getting knocked around >.>

Also reports on here can get noticed and if they can recreate the issues, they can fix them, so I’m not trying to dismiss, but try to suggest what may help get around it for now.

We might be back to 39 because #30 (Power Block) so far seems to be working as intended. The “bug” I was seeing is just that majority of PvE mob skills are considered as auto attacks, even if they have long idle times in between them, and Power Block was fixed not to put auto-attack skills on cooldown…

I’ll do a bit more testing to be 100% sure before I remove it from the list.

I believe that to be the case as well, from what I had seen before. It is frustrating to find out the 1 attack that is worthwhile to use this trait on… is also the one it cannot be used on. That is why I quit taking this trait except in certain situations, when I want to completely shut down 1 strong skill, and at this point that means I only use it in the Uncategorized fractal. I was excited when they introduced Power Block, and then suddenly care little for the trait after they nerfed it. I expected the change on defiant stacks, but for it not to affect the first skill at all, even on pve, just makes it too situational and dependent on knowing the specific skill(s) it can be used on, per each mob.

After some research and a few “trial and error” thing I have came to some possible cause or at least I got some light on this. My tests were basically moving and resizing around the window and then relogging. I haven’t tested changing maps or something like. Tests were done on windowed (no border) mode in 1024 × 768 screen res. Inventory window were mostly 10 slots wide. Here is what I have noted:

That is a lot of things to test, and some interesting conclusions, but I still think it is more complicated than that. I keep my inventory window generally in the area you show as ‘safe’, not over the party or chat window, although my screen size is quite a bit larger. I keep it 5 slots wide (just preference, and idk, just felt comfortable that way after gw1, and it keeps things lined up, like food at the top, in 4th slot for a different stone/crystal/oil and 9th different food for etc. and it sometimes changes to 4 slots and some empty space messing up my organization

Maybe I do move the inventory window over the area that ‘triggers’ the problem and not realize it, and that could be why I don’t see it every time. I don’t have the patience anymore to sit and investigate it the way you did to find out. I will show that to the people I know with the worst problems, maybe it will help them at least part of the time and maybe others until someone at Arenanet gets a chance to investigate it more, hopefully fix it, maybe using your information. Biggest problem is recreating it to study it.

What may make it a pain to reproduce is it usually happens during the heat of a battle (at least was the case with me). It already has happened 2 or 3 times to me but I also hasn’t been able to see what exactly caused it. Btw, I had it happen to me just a few days ago…

I know that ele may have the easier time recreating it (since lightning flash isn’t a ‘stun break’), guildie complains about that almost every day… it is kinda funny to see him /dance in fights randomly, but I’ve seen it on thief a few times as well. Although I haven’t been taking Mesmer into wvw, even when I did I didn’t really get this issue very often, although I have gotten stuck in objects a few too many times lately in pve and had teleports fail completely way too often on everything.

This should be the ‘cushion’ given to ranged attack projectiles that are ‘typically’ allowed to go farther than ‘max range’. This is intended.

Some don’t follow this, like pistol attacks. But bows are able to easily. I know a dev mentioned this way back, and I want to say the cushion is +/-15% but I do not remember the actual amount. Reason stated there was wanting to do that due to tracking and lag that one person may have and another may not. This gives a side effect that if they are outside of your attack range and then move into range, your attack can still say ‘out of range’, but I digress from original point.

5k would be a serious bug… going a bit beyond 1500 would not.

Devs have shown pictures to show that certain markets weren’t manipulated at that time, just regular supply/demand. You would be naive to think they don’t know and won’t act.

Also, manipulating the market makes you about as hated as bots by many players…

This should have been the case from the start of megaserver, and despite many calls for this, they went ahead and made everything megaserver. This severely hurts smaller wvw-population servers. They may have many that will go in to help when needed, but there is no practical way to make calls in pve because everyone is so separated.

It’s bad enough that guilds get separated into different copies of the maps, but even parties do so, and they are all on the same server. WvW for the non-stacked servers relied on pve map calls to get help when needed from guilds that aren’t 400+ active members. This may be too late for many server communities at this point, but it would still help some, and la is the best place to do so. I mean, if I can’t even be guaranteed my party, all in the same guild and same server, can stay together, you can’t use the excuse it would separate parties or restrict people helping each other (story instance should work without having to be in the same map as dungeons do, I do not remember if this is implemented yet or not), what would it hurt to have la be more as it was before, server based?

For flipping items no, for manipulating the market, yes. They are not the same thing although some see it as the same. One of them makes a profit off of people’s impatience. The other makes the overall price go up to turn a profit. One stabilizes, while the other creates artificial demand and restricts supply.

Main problem when people discuss this, and other things, is the words and definitions used. But Anet makes the decision so what they say matters. Intentionally manipulating the market can result in a ban. They know who sells what, and how many, and they do monitor it.

edit: Also, as is stated above, it is difficult to ‘corner the market’ on most items because of the large amount of supply that players have, that you don’t even see because it isn’t on the trading post until those players see it as worth selling. But some items are so low in supply that this can be done on a short-term basis.

Repairing your dat file is probably about all you can do, but I do not know if that will help. Similar things happen elsewhere, you know there should be circles but you can’t see them and get hit by attacks.

(also, it is my understanding that bumping a thread just for the sake of bumping it is against the rules)

What are your underwater skills? Do you have Shake it off in #9? It will switch to match their positions. I don’t like this ‘feature’ but it is also what relates to skills going on recharge when you don’t use them (Like you use skill 8, change skill 9, and both are on the same cooldown)

Inventory Window changing size alone

There ins’t much I can add to this. I can give you my information, but here is the thing: Everyone in my guild has had this happen, usually at least once a day. It is completely random when it happens. I’ve had it happen 2-3 times in the same map, without leaving it, yet then other times, it never happens. We all have it on different settings. Some play full screen, some windowed, some windowed full screen. Some don’t use the Rarity setting, others don’t show the bags.

Here is what I have noticed. I keep it so it’s 5 wide. Occasionally the window seems to shrink, but still usually keeps it at that 5 wide. It’s not changing by much, so most people, probably aren’t even realizing it. But then suddenly it’s 4 inventory spaces wide, but with extra space on the side. If I barely increase the inventory window size, it will be 5 wide again.. Full inventory or not, hasn’t made a difference. I rarely allow mine to get completely full, but I do have full bags.

-Most of us use Windows 7.
-Screen size varies : Monitor is 1680×1050 but I play in a window.
-Some use low graphic settings because they have to, others, like myself, mostly highest.
-This happened on UI Normal and Small settings
-As said, some have bags shown others don’t. Rarity some do others don’t. I do not show rarity but do show bags.
From my guilds experience, this problem has existed since at least the 4/15 patch, and has not ‘gone away’ since, but only randomly occurs.

Short term, just don’t use mug? I don’t use hidden thief trait. We know why the problem now exists, though, and I’d like to think they are aware of it, especially if, you know, this has been reported.

I’m still trying to figure out why I’ve been randomly revealed in fights lately, and no, no ranger with sic’em or stealth trap. I’m assuming lag with the server.

I have been playing thief often, although d/d not s/d in wvw, and I haven’t gotten stuck after shadowstep, I have shadowstep fail for me instead >.>

I don’t see being stuck often at all, but I agree it is very annoying when it occurs. (I forgot to send this last night, and did coe… champ wolf hit me and I became unable to move. I had to shadowstep away, and /dance lol.) If anyone can figure out a way to recreate it often it needs to be sent to them.

Although, I think it could be multiple bugs that all have the same result. And one of them may be easier to recreate, thinking about it. If you get knockdown/knockback at the same moment you hit return on shadowstep, at just the right time, game could think the stunbreaker worked, while you are still unable to move at all (I say this because there are some other bugs that work similar). Also, I know that knockbacks/launch are notorious for bugging things out… like guardian Banish >.>

That may be it, maybe it was horrik’s and I just didn’t see the ring because I was focused more on Mai Trin, and maybe the guardian did hit me with Aegis. I just knew I saw evade. Have to say it is rather funny to reflect her attack.

That’s the one I thought I dodged, Maybe it was the timing of it, but I didn’t take damage and thought it said evade, or I remembered it wrong, idk. Haven’t faced Mai Trin that often, we’ve had a very bad (well actually very good) habit of getting Molten instead. But normally I’m trying to block it or reflect it, and dodging Horrik’s shots. It was just that I wasn’t expecting to see evade(, and I know it did say evade, maybe it was the spread shot but if so I didn’t see the attack, either way she’s mean!).

simple step to get around it, and it was implemented probably to prevent the server from having to deal with too many requests too fast by too many people all at the same time. As said, just relax.

This doesn’t bode well for creating my first character. I think I might want my $50 back.

Didn’t consider a bug that this introduces now that it delays to check…

It shadowsteps you yes, but then, it apparently checks if you were within range to steal the item, from your previous spot… so if the target is running, and you were pretty much at max range already, it will say ‘Out of Range’, you won’t get the item, and it goes on full recharge… despite having already shadowstepped you to the target and you’ve already started attacking them.

It’s not something that they can really recreate to test, and that is a must to reliably find and fix bugs. Otherwise they could introduce new bugs and not even solve the one they were after. That is why this and some other rare, random bugs still exist.

What I had seen, it is an issue that I cannot reproduce, it is a very rare, random occurrence. Or perhaps I have already gotten used to working around it, I don’t know. Of course, I also do not play in full screen, so perhaps that also makes a difference? Anyways, what I said before was based on what was said here, and what I saw in that thread. This arguing is getting no where, and this thread is less relevant since it says the issue is only with Razer mice, when others are also saying it is not limited to one type.

I have never had this happen, however, we have always stood right before the gate until the npc’s are close, then we go in and wait for the npc’s to enter, which triggers the speech. It probably is related to them being too far, as said earlier. This is the case for everything, from story things, to dungeons, etc. That is one of the few fractals that has npc’s that remotely matter, so it’s not really surprising this would be noticed on it.

A number of us in guild have Razer Nagas and we have rarely had this issue. I had it bad for a few days, and I think I may have allowed the mouse drivers to update at that time, little to no issues really since. Probably was a month ago?

I mean, this explains some of the quirks we’ve seen, but the mouse is too nice for this to make me not play or to get a new mouse. So it gets me killed once or twice in wvw. I pretty much shrug, pout for a second that my stacks are gone, and go on about playing.

The pausing , now that I remembered that was the issue, I had over a year ago was close to enough for me to get mad at the mouse, but I was able to fix it after talking to Razer support and researching it online for days (some issue with the whole dotnet thing, Windows, and Razer drivers)

It is likely more of a coincidence that a gw2 patch makes any difference with the behavior of a specific mouse, since you know, the drivers are all that gw2 actually sees or cares about(actually it’s more of gw2 sees Directx but anyways…). Otherwise, it should behave pretty much the same way any other mouse does.

Oh well this explains a lot. I thought I was losing my mind. It doesn’t happen often for me, but when it did it was like what the… and I have a Razer Naga. Even with this and knowing why it happens I wouldn’t give up the mouse. <3 too much. I have had some driver issues with it before though, and was in contact with Razer support over it, although the issues I used to have weren’t with the Naga itself, but something with windows that I now forget what. I would try contacting them. They will have you do some silly steps, but be sure to say it’s with Guild Wars 2 to help them realize it’s not just a few people with the problem (I think Razer should concentrate less on making driver updates for WoW and the mouse and more on making it work better with everything else). Perhaps they can do a fix in the drivers. I don’t think it would be easy to fix from the game.

Mai Trin's teleport attack cannot be dodged?

Mai Trin was ‘fixed’ to scale with Fractal level just about 2 weeks ago. (I have read that it is Horrik that scales with the level, Mai Trin doesn’t seem to, at least when her shield buff is on. She has always practically one hit zerker characters, well, close enough to, but is now worse)

Reflecting prevents the damage and is a life saver. In fact, it is practically required now, and I had started to enjoy thief in fractals, but when we get Mai Trin, I immediately switch to mes and change my build almost completely, just to have a lot of blocks and reflects, and try to get targeted all the time.

I did dodge it once I thought? But by accident. The timing isn’t easy I don’t think, but I haven’t fought the ‘new’ Mai Trin enough to start trying things like that.

And your example is why they ‘fixed’ it, level 50 shouldn’t be completely easy. Now though, it’s far more difficult at the lower levels than it should be, and some get very frustrated from it. I find it just annoyingly long now and it does require more team coordination and playing extremely defensively.

Next time that happens, try to do an emote. This happens with teleport/shadowstep skills, and sometimes when you are cc’d just right. I’ve noticed it far less than I used to though. Sometimes another teleport/shadowstep can fix it, or another knockdown/launch as you noticed. But seriously try an emote like /dance.

All you have to do, for anything that doesn’t benefit you, is log out to character select, and go right back in. A little more annoying with megaserver, but still..

There are a million posts (I’m exaggerating a little but not a lot) explaining this.

In short, Since the feature patch (4/15), you cannot remove the weapon that has the sigil. This is intended.

Since going in the water ‘changes’ your weapons, you lose the stacks. It is a bit more complicated than this in how the sigil acts between water and land, but which part of it is a bug, only Arenanet knows.

If you don’t dive, aka stay on the surface of the water, you won’t lose stacks. Otherwise, put the same sigil on one of the underwater weapons.

Every single time I come to the game bugs forum, which granted isn’t often, I see so many posts saying this.

That change is related to the ‘fix’ they did, it’s checking if you are actually able to steal the item. Just wait until you do teleport on the steal, then reappear where you were so your skills miss… on a clear path >.<

And yes, server lag has been worse the past month. (Don’t even get me started on the shadowstep/blink misbehaviors

Yes it was a quick fix, and now there is the little problem of not knowing what was done exactly due to that person(s) no longer being there to undo a dirty fix. At this point I want it fixed if only so people will quit arguing with me whether or not it’s a ‘bug’ (yes I do also want it fixed, but I figured out how to get around it so that even if I sell a lot of stuff it doesn’t take long at all). Yes I believe Arenanet is now considering it a bug, but I remember when this was done because yes the bots were lagging down the trading post before they did a lot of the bans and other fixes to limit bots.

could it be relative to the camera, if your camera cant move 180 degrees without hitting something then it wont like it, just an idea maybe worth checking out.

Im not sure what is happening. The only thing I know is that it is more likely to happen when you are in combat. When you push the button it is as if the camera wants to turn 180 degrees but then suddenly goes back to the original position, hence prohibiting you from turning 180.

This is likely it in this case, and this description is something I have seen happen, usually if there is a wall or 2 nearby.

Yes they are considering it a bug now, but it is left over from a quick fix for bots flooding the trading post, and that was stated like a year ago

If you think you are revealed, look to see if the icon is in the buff bar. Just because you see yourself, doesn’t mean you are ‘revealed’.

If 2 forms of stealth are placed on you at the same time, it shows your character to you when one of them ends, but not to others unless all your ‘stealth’ is gone. I have not tested it between veil/mi/decoy (because I didn’t use stealth much on mes before I played thief a lot, edit: I actually did notice that decoy will cause you to see your character with veil and vice versa), but I know if a thief applies a stealth to you and you mi (or vice versa…), when one ends, you ‘appear’ to be revealed, but you are not. Be very aware of Shadow Refuge, walking out of that instantly puts the ‘Revealed’ on you and that will remove your stealth and of course prevent any being applied as well.

edit: Also, as stated below, Ranger skill Sic ’Em will reveal you. So would a stealth trap
