i’ve been never been praying so hard for NCSoft selling the game.
mentality of a company never/rarely changes and Anet was like this since ages. i’ve given up all hope already.
i remember S2 selling HoN. it did wonders to the game.

I can’t take this game or company seriously anymore. The quality of development decisions and customer service came to the lowest level i’ve ever experienced in my life be it compared to any other Developper companys or the pub next to my apartment.

Edit: this fix does not solve the majority of problems
- this meta bridges the difference between a good player and a mediocre player.
- specs with unmatched sustain and top damage output are flawed and bad design, not to mention that most of them now are paired with over decent mobility.
- specs with ridiculous damage should never have high enough healing coefficent to fully heal self after getting close to death with tiny cooldowns.
- players while unable to take damage should NOT deal damage also.
- the ability to have more invulnerable uptime than vulnerable is bad design and should never happen in any game.
- the protection and boon uptime paired with never seen healing tossed around is bad design and not healthy for gw2pvp
- passive activated traits and abilitys are bad design and are unhelthy for skillful play in any shapes.
- defensive abilitys should NEVER have bigger damage coefficents than offensive ones.
- getting back up a downed ally should NEWER be easyer then for the opponent to finish.
- high risk builds should have ANY reward if not even high.
- Noone should EVER think on any serious competition on ANY company without PvP balance separated from the rest gamemodes.
- if the majority of the playerbase is unsatisfied and the frustration is tactile, then inmediate communication is required and rather fast changes.

situation: enemy druid pushes faar contests your home, you dont push and can’t kill ele + bunker mes on mid till they even the fight. One of you decides to plus 1 home and meenages to kill the druid after some time, meanwhile you lose the outnumbered fight @ mid so it’s 2v1 cap -> this continues till 330 vs 140 points for the enemy team when the bunker mes suddenly leaves mid fight with a portal left behind. You spam the chat with capslock to follow that motherFKer before they blow up your Lord, thankfully at least 2 of your teammates can speak english so they defend, sadly it’s not enough becouse 3years in the game 4, 5 man push cannot be defended.
edit: in this bunkery meta you cannot afford to lose caps randomly. you cannot go on a magical jurney from mid for 10seconds tunnelvisioning the enemy revenant, becouse you get insta decapped and your 5mins fight for mid worths noothing from now on. on point fights are xtremely boring and long especially on legacy. usually you could beat bunkery stuff with outrotations but this is not the case anymore due to druid ele and mes with blink/portal mobility is insane compared to it’s effectiveness.

please notice that people playing this game on the highest level are speeking up consistently against the flawes of this metagame. if you watch streams of some of these players you can hear a lot of complaynment about all the stuff that has been changed in expansion.
What does the bug do?
body is located away from the displayed downed target on server side so even if you land a perfect stomp it gets recognized as ‘out of range’ -> noothing happens.
this is gets even worse considering that resurrecting is NOT bugged in this state, so permaquickness metabuilds easily outheal the cleave, not to mention Radiant Revival(herald major trait) that should have been already hotfixed imo.
Edit: there is also a bug that appears when you are quickness or slowness stomping somebody and the effects do not last for the entire duration. there animation and stomping speed gets bugged and use the longer timer.

Warrior is more useful than thief. Every time I have a thief on my time I have lost. Some of the biggest losses were 2 thief. Just no.
ppl like you have a negative mental pressure on your team when judging thieves.

withdraw is itself an evade, i use it many times for positioning or evading stuff to spare endurance even if close to full.
The main issue I have with S/D, especially with Dash, is the lack of damage is really noticeable. You’re the most mobile and evading build in the game, but you hit like a wet noodle.
you have decent damage if done propely and a lot of CC. s/d requires more positioning than any build and dash is perfect for this.
+w/o dash you dropp your 100% 1v1 win potential vs. necros.

This game has lost the little skill it had left imo. I’ll play and have fun. But this is the end of any competitive play this game had left. There is no skill at all. For example, one auto attack from an engineer can inflict around 8 stacks of bleed and 4 burns and other condis. Where is the skill and counter play to this? The only way to avoid damage reliably is to never get hit. Which is not viable because auto attacks happen all the time. Auto attacks doing 12k are not a good thing
Helseth is mediocre at best. Honestly having played vs all these people he is one of the worst of all the “esports” tryhards. People like ROM and Fraelina are much much better than him. They are capable of carrying games whereas helseth is honestly worse than a ton of wvwers I have fought against.

Proboably a reason this games pvp never took off as a competitive game is to do ei5h stealth. You are right there is no counter play. I think any aoe that hits a stealthed player should of revealed them. Either way its too late now. The games mechanics are pretty well set and i cant see this game becoming a serious competitive game
Thief is still op. Those saying not just used to get even more carried than currently by the class. So their skill level is lower than their mmr. As in their mmr should be lower based on their skill, so if thief goes from very op to just op then they think its hard.
Thief is still way more op than mesmer for example. Mesmer is just judged by lower standards than thief. Thieves expect to be op. Most other classes base their balance expectations around being balanced.
Thief is second only to ele in terms of opness

Scrapper?These classes dont take skill nor do they take any rotation knowledge. A sentinel mesmer can 3v1 on point for 30+ seconds?
You removed minstrels amulet and all these other things to balance the game and keep it fair, yet the game is more broken than it ever has been. Theres no punishment in this game, if you waste a cooldown you can get away with it which gives terrible players even more room for error. Theres 0 counterplay to condi revs and bunker mesmers…..

not at all. if you are not good enough pls forget about it. we finally have a leaderboard which favors good players over bad farmers. pls never EVER complain about ‘oh no i’m stuck in xxx tier and i can’t do anything about it’ that is how it supposed to work. after a while people’s ranks and tiers gonna be set by they performance in game. good players up bad players down (this gonna take some time considering most players are still in #I and #II). in a competitive environment as soon people are reaching the MMR of theyr own skill level, they SHOULD strougle with progressing! and only getting to higher ranking with adwancing personal || teamwork capabilitys.

graphics options/Effects LOD was checked in. might have coused this issue.

also 56 stacks of poison is more likely a PVE prespective.
use vamp or durability.
(imo vamp is overall better due to tripple leech it gives more effective survivability and increses DMG output highly)

adding 80 pieces of expensive only 1/day craftable materials to the progress was in itself a terrible idea in my openion, but NP!! i got them now! hurray!! now after i thought everything is set and i can craft the kitten legendary it happed that i need 11 more one per day items in charged quartz!! WONDERFUL!! and this can’t even be made by your guild mates for you! EVEN MORE WONDERFUL!
i don’t really know what to say… No pvp balance, another grind leaderboards farmed by premades 0-24… running simulator wvw maps where are close to zero fights which are laggy as hell… i have to be disappointed even in PVE…. not only the huge 3 layer maze maps but this kitten precursor crafting system….. it seems that the only thing you have done right is raids so far. congrats! not sure how you wanna stay profitable

Anet’s behavior in lack of communication, willingness to balance, and general disregard for creating a more diverse PvP meta will be their downfall. The game’s PvP has only gotten progressively worse and worse.
