ive fought bots which is the closest thing there is to these combat scripts… and the reason im sort of writing you off here is because ive been playing mmo pvp since 1998, and since 1998 there has always been a difference between obvious hacking ie speed hacks flying hacks and whatnot and someone just being so good that to the casual player it seems as though they are hacking in a way to make all their skills land and never be hit. At one point i was even one of the people like you, i would accuse people of hacking and then i started getting better (speaking from Ultima Online experience) and i started getting accused of hacking. It can be a frustrating experience for both parties. When i gott better and learned all the game mechanics you start to notice little things that you once thought werre hacking or something and now you realize its just a mechanic that you werent all that familiar with.

maybe thats what you would like… id prefer to have the current system in place so the more skilled players can get to the higher divisions where they belong faster.

im 98% sure the way you are describing would cause more uneven matches than the current one. it would also infuriate the more skilled players. im pretty sure anet would rather have the dunning kruger syndrome people complaining than kitten off alot of players.

one thing to remember is the people complaining on forums are the vocal minority.

if your in a higher mmr its not just your team that has a good MMR….. the opponents will have a similiar MMR, the issue was some people have inflated MMRs due to some people smurfing and purposefully tanking to lower their MMRs to get win streaks…..

no need to dodge. Weakness uptime will do the job for him. Cuz spam is more important than dodging, this is the real necro gameplay.

only have good weakness uptime if you take curses…. so your sacrificing dmg and cover vuln on spite which can also contribute to added precision (yes curses does this too in a different way), or you are sacrificing another form of sustain in LF generation through the SR line also no dhuumfire and unblockable marks…..

ingame, i actually just want to play and not mess around with tickets. i looked if there is an easy way. but cheating isnt categorized. and i doubt anet cares, i saw jaggard right away, and such people dont play legit. he probably played constantly since release unpunished.

i actually did record hacks. all it does is proving that companies dont care anymore. it really started back in 11 i think, numerous people sent screens and vids about hackers on the biggest wow pvp server in eu. but blizzard ignored them all.

since then im sure modtools became serious business. theres some pretty ridicolous evidence out there, like people killing entire cities on their own..

i would probably do it if i could assume integrity. but i think anet wants just to hide the truth. jaggard is still around, so they really dont care.

post videos of the hacks plz, cant wait to see your video of a theif comboing off his smoke field lol……. the only real hack that legit helps with pvp is the radar thing.

Anyone saying skill doesn’t matter is delusional. Sry you think that the only reason you lost has something to do with your team or your opponents builds… sad truth you are getting outplayed, admit it and adapt.

This is actually a solid idea if someone came up with a good core list of tips like that.

All I see is a bunch of people who got to high divisions in s1 because it was a grind are now complaining that they are losing now. Especially anyone that primarily played a bunker mes last patch.

There were people that claimed to make it to legendary that didn’t even know common game mechanics or class mechanics… that was proof enough for me that the majority of those players probably didn’t belong.

If this new matchmaking changes that of course they are going to complain because they have an over inflated idea of their skill level. Getting hit with the reality that you weren’t as good as you thought is more difficult for some people to understand than to just assume it’s the games fault.

Because not everyone can play 20+games a day.

Playing 20+ games day for 8 weeks does not mean you’ll get to Legendary. Whoever told you that is incorrect. In fact, that’ll hurt your chances because you’ll be burned out meaning you won’t be playing at your A game. How I got to Legendary was anytime I lost 3 games in a row I’d call it a day. I’d also duo Q with friends who were good and had a decent knowledge of rotations. But most importantly, I knew when and how to milk win streaks. So if I won 3 games in a row I’d keep playing until I lose and then call it a day.

Doesn’t mean you will, but you most likely will lol.

Uhhhh no. Getting to Ruby is a grind but getting to Legendary is not. You actually have to be good and know how to play. I was just lucky cuz I play thief which doesn’t really utilize the mouse unless you are using SB. I played one hell of a thief and would probably reck most players. But to say Legendary is nothing but a grind tells me you are simply full of salt.

A theif that can’t use a mouse and fight at the same time….

All it would take is for you to win 51% of your games and to play a ton of games and you will eventually hit legendary. So yes it’s still a grind.

You can think I’m salty all you want… I never made it a
goal to make it to legendary. I simply don’t play enough to reach the number of games it would take even if I had won every game I played this season and I’m perfectly ok with that, perfectly happy to participate in AGs and do my thing.

I did watch the video. My comment was confusing. First part I was talking about weapon rotations. Combos if you will.

2nd part rotations is referring to where to go on the map and when.

But if you think you are ready for pro league esls etc I’m sure some pro team will watch this video and immediately add you.

Imo, no your not at the moment. Looks as though your too focused on running through certain rotations and not paying enough attention to what your opponent is doing. Also you could work on rotations but it’s easier to do with a consistent team. (My rotations still suck lol)

I don’t think you are ready for esl, or the pro league.

My advice is find a team or build one for season 2 if you guys have what it takes to climb the ladder you’ll get your shot to play into it.

Was using something like that when hot first started, fun as hell to play, risk vs reward is crazy but the reward feels soooo rewarding when you land that Gravedigger on 3 people on a point. For some real fun take, hydro, fire on gs and take the chill explosion trait.(ruins the whole shout thing I know) Had some pretty hilarious procs with that.

No I can see your a theif and so is cynz. All theives think their class is the hardest to play because spamming is almost 100% Garunteed to get you killed. Necro easier to play than theif in low tier, but that changes the higher up you go. Not that theif becomes easier to play in higher tiers it’s just that in higher tiers necros need skill, spamming their skills will get you killed just like on a theif.

Gotta be honest I just wanted to make sure that you were talking about a wvw hero. Very different playstyle compared to pvp, and 2 years ago when I made the real transition out of wvw I too thought I was great because I could kill people in 1v1s, but my teams still lost even though was winning fights, problem was I wasn’t winning them fast enough, I wasn’t rotating out fast enough, I thought I was so good I would jump into 1vx fights might even kill one but I’d still lose the point.

Point is don’t make outrageous claims that don’t have proof, just because he’s a good dire perplex necro in wvw, doesn’t mean he will even be ruby level in pvp.

Also your pm, everyone and there mother has killed and abjured member at this point, it happens, yet even though I won a fight or two team still lost 500-100 or something like that.

We also start off every match with half our class mechanics inaccessible until the fight starts. The second life bar doesnt even exist at the beginning which is one of the most critical points of a match.
All I see is people complaining that they lost their punching bag. Not that I am a pushover before these buffs :P In fact one of my Necro friends who is one of the best there is has gone back to Base Condi Necro and simply doesnt lose even vs Reapers.

That video was before the patch. Has nothing to do with now, I don’t disagree that Necro is OP as kitten now. But with the way everyone was farting out boons something had to be done, not that I agree with the solution just that I understand the reasoning. Think of it ok we nerfed the hell out of blighter’s boon, so if necro isn’t going to benefit as much as other classes from boons not to mention our class mechanic negates a decent amount of heals from allies, so let’s make them the god of all boon hate. Also there’s no way it lasts for longer than a month or so

I use Wanderer just fine on a Curses condi build using Corruptions. Has decent survival through high Weakness and Chill uptime along with plenty of condi transfers.

Been running spite,curses,reaper since hot, but I didn’t take corruptions opted for signets, and I take terror as far as I can tell so far it’s amazing now with all the corruptions now I’m proccing fear alot. I would swap between vipers and wanderers depending on the comp I was playing against.

Exactly. But you do need it in pvp, and they nerfed a bunch of sustain skills and buffed sustain skills on other classes… if they were truly balancing around pve they wouldn’t even bother with that 99% of the time.
