Hey guys thank you for your replies and keeping this thread alive!
So utility vs DPS. I will say this:
1. If you have to chose between doing high damage but dying a lot and doing less damage and staying alive go for the second option. Dead DPS= 0
2. If you are struggling with PUGS in FotM find some friends to run daily. Your QoL will dramatically improve (try joining some guild or look in the players helping player subforum)
3. I run with a semi-steady party. But I also run with PUGS with the same build. Difference is on food (Truffle Steak with my friends and Omnomberry Ghost or no food while in PUGS).
4. There is also some good players in PUGS! Not all of them (us) are bad!
5. I also take utilities, most often I’ll change Procession of Blades for Wall of Reflection in fights with heavy ranged pressure (Uncategorized, Fire Shaman, some parts of Chaos).
6. There are classes that will bring equal or even better utility than a Guardian (Chronomaner), be better at healing (Druids) and give way more boons than us (PS Warrior and Herald) so mind party composition if you’re going full support.
7. Longer fights (that come from all members playing conservative/support/utility) usually mean higher chances to screw up/having no more dodges and blocks= Dying.
8. Not many people will be supportive if you show up in full Clerics. You might also get kicked out of parties because of reason #7.
9. You can overheal your party and yourself but damage will never be a thing you say “hey, that’s enough” overkill is awesome and necessary when playing with some mistlock instabilities like Adrenaline Rush.
10. We have, once again, one of the highest DPS in the game thanks to changes in Scepter. Staying alive at long range is REALLY easy (why do you think so many people are playing Reaper now?) try a couple of runs.
Party composition I “usually” run with:
1. Chronomancer
2. PS Warrior
3. Viper Reaper
4. Druid (swaps to burnzerker in the easier fractals)
5. Me!
Once again, the build I’m using:
(edited by NumenorLord.6539)
Warrior has one of the worst downed #2 skills. If a mob gets on the way, the hammer toss it will hit the mob even if the Avenger has been targeted. Easiest one should be AoE’s like Guardian or Ranger. Mesmer and Thief may have bad luck/timing press #2 as soon as they go down and appear next to the Avenger.
On other scenarios, players won’t focus the Avenger but a mob that is about to die to rally and get stomped in the attempt.
People will keep getting stomped in FotM and, sometimes, it won’t have anything to do with skill or being a good/bad player. it’s just a variable that is made to punish you when you go down and might work sometimes.
As a Guard in fractal, there is no specific weapon to be used, it only subjects to the situation you are in. For instance,
Uncategorized: Ramp electrify stage, a shield is very helpful in absorbing the projectiles.
Volcano: Longbow with knockdown is nice at sacrificial stage.
Bloomy : Scepter + Shield is the best combination as you can guard your friends from the constant AOE projectile. Shield of Avenger works marvelous too during the stage on horde of animals.I would advise you to learn the mechanic of the stage and utilize your available weapons and utilities, not sticking into a certain set.
It’s a matter of utility versus DPS. Some of us prefer DPS since it makes fights shorter so Scepter/Torch is the obvious choice. Longbow damage is subpar and shield can be replaced, as you said, for Shield of The Avenger (I think Wall of Reflection is way more useful in fights where you have constant projectile pressure since you can control and time when to cast it). The idea would be to change one or 2 of the traps with utilities. I’ve never been in trouble with projectiles in Bloom frac since they are all telegraphed and you can simply walk away from the areas.
I’ve learned the mechanics of the fractals long ago, I play since launch and I’m currently sitting in 15k AP that mostly come from PvE content. I prefer DPS over utility because it’s the fastest way to clear content if you are with a competent party that think like you and are set the same way. If you prefer utility it’s your choice I am not the one to say if it’s right or wrong,.
Dunno, I honestly see little reason at all to run torch in fractals, unless you have an organised team which blazes through them anyway. Shield simply has better utility.
Torch is high dmg, simple as that.
What Cranos said.
How do you think this build would do in open HoT PVE? I’m currently running LB/GS zerk exotic but find my health can drop rapidly with multiple mobs (especially a mix of ranged and melee). Is there a rotation you would recommend?
I think it might work in some HoT content. It works great for me in FotM because content is more “predictable” and you rely more on yourself and your party than in HoT open world (even with instabilities). Think you could add some nice damage but will lose some survivability that you get when you trait Virtues. Some HoT content has way more conditions and knockbacks than FotM. Things will die faster but could die faster too. Problem also is that with this build you don’t use “Retreat!” so you move like a bag of potatoes when you are alone.
Rotation I use is:
spear of justice->ray of judgement->shield of wrath->flashing blade (to get near the foe)->drop the 2 traps on the symbol->swap to scepter/torch->feel my wrath->zealot’s flame->smite->AA-zealot’s flame/smite when they’re ready->swap to sword/focus when test of faith is no longer on cooldown and repeat
Cast smite and zealot’s flame whenever not in cooldown. Cast feel my wrath whenever not in cooldown while using scepter/torch. Be sure to be near foes when shield of wrath explodes. Spam F1 to keep burning and blinding. Use chains of light if vulnerability is not at 25 stacks or if you need to get away from a foe.
I don’t have an ascended torch yet so I’m thinking using my ascended focus. Is an exotic torch still higher dps than an ascended focus?
There will be times when doing higher fractals where i will have to use focus due to agony. Under those circumstances, is it still worth it to use the radiance line even if not wielding a torch for the crit rate on one handed weapons plus cd reduction on sword or should i just take virtues?
Difference between ascended/exotic damage when it comes to weapons is 5.9% (source: https://www.reddit.com/r/Guildwars2/comments/31wbip/ascended_vs_exotic_gear_comparison_spreedsheet/). Main reason to have a torch is the raw damage from spamming zealot’s flame. Problem also is that when running exotic is that you won’t have the slots to put agony infusions as you said. Focus is a great offhand for opening fights and has great utility (casting shield of wrath while reviving, timing blind from ray before some attacks). In the end, you’ll be changing raw damage for utility. My advice: Run lower FotM with Torch and Radiance, see how it goes. If you really dig the damage increase go for that ascended torch.
Virtues will give you unscatched contender that is a 20% damage increase while you have aegis on you. You also get 1% damage per boon on you (power of the virtuous) and get utilities like condi cleanse on F2 and stability on F3 so it’s not bad at all and a good option.
The idea of Radiance and Torch is to spam zealot’s flame and spear of justice, you’ll be constantly applying burning, blinding and vulnerability and gain 25% critical chance (right hand strength+radiant power) and your burning damage will also be highly increased. If you run Scepter/Focus you’ll be losing the zealot’s flame spam and traiting radiant fire will be kind of pointless (could try wrath of justice instead for immobilizing trash and lowering defiance bars).
My advice is to test what suits better your playstyle.
Hello guys and thank you for all your replies!
After some testing and reading, I’ve decided to go Scepter/Torch – Sword/Focus (Torch). Main reason is that, right now, we have one of the highest DPS with that weapon (source: http://qtfy.enjin.com/dps).
I rely a lot on my blinds and blocks to survive but it’s easily achieved since most of the time I’m on scepter. Here’s the build I’m using and seen lot of other Guards use in FotM in T4:
The DPS output is really good, you have a good base crit chance because of Right Hand Strength but I’m still using Assassin earrings. Burning does good damage that comes from Kindled Zeal, Radiant Fire and Amplified Wrath. You’ll be burning a lot because of the Spear of Justice Spam against trash and your Symbols. Both traps do really high damage when dropped together on a symbol. Procession of Blades can be changed for utility in some fights (WoR against Shaman, SyG against Bloom). No need for “Retreat!” since you are not running Unscatched Contender.
Try it and let me know what you think!
Not entirely support and deals a good damage. It’s great for holding points. When defending use M/F to stack HP from invigorated bulwark, stay near allies to keep them healed and use mace 2/3 a lot. Focus mastery will get you (almost) perma protection. For finishing foes swap to sword. Problem with the build will be fleeing opponents (can pull with spear or try to get near with sword 2). Could also use scepter instead of sword.
PvP: Healing Signet or Defiant Stance on some YOLO builds.
Instanced PvE as a PS Warrior: Blood Reckoning because it gives 5 might stacks on activation and refreshes your Primal Bursts (only advantage besides CD comparing with To the Limit!)
Instanced PvE as a Burnzerker: Most run Healing Signet. Rotation doesn’t make necessary to spam primal bursts.
Raids:Blood reckoning as a PS but Defiant Stance might become handy in some fights to stand in AOE’s if your squad is easily maintaining 25 might stacks.
WvW: Don’t know, been almost a year since the last time I played there.
If you area having a hard time surviving use Omnomberry Ghost/Pie or Mango Pie to have some regeneration.
This is all I’m waiting for when it comes to heavy armor.
That already exists it’s the human tier 3 heavy cultural armor
No. The helmet the shoulders don’t exist. Coat, legs and boots are similar but not the same.
Not 1 but 2 walls of text

It’s not a must but it will help you to get and keep 25 might stacks faster. Assassin earrings or weapons will get you to 96% Crit chance in an ideal scenario [1212(Stats) + 170(Banner) + 150(Spotter) = 1532/21 = 72,95% + 4%(Base) + 20%(Fury)].
You can get the ascended earrings from purchasing ALL the weapons AND armor pieces from Arah and Caudecus’s Manor dungeons (part of the Dungeoneer collection). Or change the stats on your weapons via MF attribute change; you’re gonna need your ascended weapons, 3 Anthology of Heroes (bought near MF), 15 Globs of Ectoplasm and 3 Assassin Orichalcum Imbued Inscription (15 Vicious Claw needed to craft them).
In the meantime you can still play with Berserker earrings/weapons, remember you can remove agony infusions once you have your new gear.
After september 20th patch with the boon thieves instability removed and the toughness reduction, Guardians seem to have a place once again in the FotM party composition.
As someone who migrated to PS Warrior (and still love to play with my Warrior) for PvE content I do wish to run some fractals with my Guard (Volcanic for example). So I was wondering: What builds are Guardians using in FotM after the patch?
I see that the Raid DPS/support with Hammer (switching Sword/Shield for Sword/Torch) can be more functional than the suggested meta build for FotM listed in Metabattle. Thoughts?
I don’t mind investing more time in doing daily fractals but if Anet is going to add difficulty to this content they should also upgrade the rewards you get from doing it. As a PS Warrior I’m happy boon thieves is gone. Might even play on my Guard now.
No. But they’re a pain in the butt when 2 or more stack in the same place. 1v1 they’re only OP against thieves, every other class has the mechanics to kills them pretty easy.
So I made a guy log off gw2 after beating all of his classes in guild hall arena. Is marauder symbol guard op? I don’t want it to get nerfed I mean, is anyone else thinking its gonna get nerfed? Its not super good in ranked pvp rev does more dmg and is just as resilient.
If he lost with all of his classes and one of them was Scrapper, macebow Berserker, power Herald or condi Mesmer he’s plainly bad at PvP.
No, you can’t because love is blind.
I joined a bit late but had RL friends that already played the game and were level 80. Once I hit level 30 they took me to an Acalonian Catacombs run. They warned me dungeons were hard so I followed them closely, didn’t matter cause I died, I died a lot… Kholer was like, hardest boss ever, it was impossible to dodge the scorpion wire. Remember that AC run took like an hour and a half, thought it was all my fault because I was being “carried”
Once I got to level 80 I remember crafting/buying with karma my Soldier armor set. kitten I was a walking punching bag and hit like a wet noodle.
So, you would switch to IB instead of Revive trait?
Just try it. It works wonders when focusing on healing and sustain.
Problem with EM is that you won’t have enough crit chance nor hit consistently enough a target to make it proc. Remember that PvP is more about damage spike than constant damage (that’s the case of PvE). Only other bunkers will stay around enough time to be a constant target.
On the other hand, you are giving aegis to yourself and allies periodically with Hunter’s Determination/FoF and Shield of Courage’s passive. This won’t only heal you but also your allies. Once you have fully charged Invigorated Bulwark you can guarantee a sustained heal for your party while blocking with Aegis and using symbols. So PoH is the way to go IMHO. Monk’s Focus will make CoP heal you and will give you Fury, if you use smite condition as I suggested you will have have Fury most of the time.
If you are using fragments of faith and traiting Hunter’s Determination you should definitely trait Pure of Heart for more outgoing healing, EM won’t make “that” big difference in your damage output in PvP.
Invigorated Bulwark is a great skill for bunkering, the HP will still be active when you swap to sword, besides that you have a lot of blocks to make it reach its maximum charge (Aegis, FoF, Shield of Courage, Focus #5 and Mace #3). Your healing will become more useful if you take it.
Take Stalwart Defense instead of Communal Defenses, so you can take some more damage and be a bit more “exposed” while wielding sword and take a more offensive role.
Don’t use AH, you are not giving any boon to your allies besides Aegis and Protection (Mace #3 and Focus #4) so it’s a wasted trait. Take Monk’s Focus instead (more healing when using a Meditation) and consider swapping FoF for Smite Conditions (Cleansing a condition + dealing damage on a very short CD). Also, Runes of the Herald are not necessary for the same reason AH is not. Consider using Pack for a more offensive approach or Dolyak for full bunkering.
Sigils of condition transference to enemies won’t work that good along contemplation of purity (convert condis to boons) so I would drop’em, keep Transference on Mace and add Water, in Sword drop Intelligence too and go Blood and Air for an offensive approach (runes of the Pack) or Blood and Water when bunkering.
I also play with Focus Mastery instead of Smiter’s boon, think it’s a better choice because the Protection it gives (ideal for opening battles with Focus #4).
+1 I do miss them and raids is complete different content, it will never replace dungeons. Besides that, the image is a true story
Hey guys, thanks for the feedback. I’m definitely going Necro to mix it up a bit and not getting stuck on heavy classes. Got some learning to do since it’s been a long time since I PvE with my Necro. Thanks again.
We are on the warrior sub forum:)
It was moved from GW2 subforum
Ignoring what’s in demand, why would you need three full sets of ascended armor for a given weight class?
My mesmer and elementalist both use zerker / scholar for fractals, so they shamelessly share. My necromancer has her own set of vipers because she needs it.
Similarly, my thief and power scrapper share armor as well. For my fourth I’m thinking a starter set for heavy
If I decide to play with the herald I could use the same armor I have on the DH (zerker Scholar runes), Warrior is PS and has runes of Strength. Swapping armor kinda annoys me (I have parts transmuted to cultural armor that are non-compatible between them -female human DH and Charr male Rev- so it would be a pain or would have to change the look). I already have the full set (chests) and materials for a full ascended character, it’s only taking space in my bank and want to use them.
(edited by NumenorLord.6539)
I have 2 full ascended characters, PS Warrior for FotM/raids and a DH for open world/HoT. I can make another character full ascended from the drops I’ve got (weapon and armor chests) and want him to be my raid character (sometimes there are already 2 warriors in the parties I join, sometimes I just want to change).
So, was wondering what’s more in demand and what’s funnier to play for you guys in raids, a Viper Reaper or a Power Herald? Would like some to hear some experiences before making up my mind.
Thanks
Hi, I’m pretty sure it’s only 5 and that’s the reason raid composition usually uses 2 PS Warriors instead of only 1 (also b/c radius is 600).
Think you might get a more elaborated answer in the Warrior subforum.
Thank very much for your detailed reply that was extremely helpful. So basically just camp GS using 100 Blades off cd, then hit f2 when adrenaline is full and the. Spam f1 until empty.
Only swap to Hammer when there’s a break bar.
For utilities use the two DPS banners, Head But, a heal, and the precision signet?
If you’re using soldier or valkyrie gear you’re not gonna need precision signet for other purpose than filling your adrenaline because the crit chance will be null (in that case take Signet of Might instead of Fury).
For breaking bars Hammer is not that necessary since headbutt is a strong CC. Most people chose Axe/Mace for second weapon set because the dps, vulnerability and CC on Mace #5.
When you talk about power buffer I don’t get if you want to just want to bring banners to fights or to play the PS (Phalanx Strength) build to give constant might to yourself and your team. The second option requires to crit on the GS so Sold and Valk are out of the question, you should go with Berserker gear.
Heal should be Blood Reckoning so you cast when adrenaline is deplenished and use the primal burst again. Use Healing Signet only if you are having troubles surviving.
> 1 greatsword weapon skin looks good on thief
> therefor thief should get greatsword
>Much smart
>very logic

Start: Poison or poison field to weaken wings of resolve passive effect and force to cast heals.
Range: Shortbow if the DH is waiting for you to trigger traps, once they are sprung go Dagger/Dagger and apply conditions. Even with condi cleanse DH goes down fast because of the low health pool.
Close combat: Start with Basilisk Venom and apply conditions/damage, try to interrupt wings of resolve or force them to cast it while poisoned (he’s gonna cast them after using renewed focus 95% of the times).
Be sure to be able tom reset the combat with shadow step or blinding powder (equip at least 1).
Basically Venomshare (3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3) if you attack them while being with a Herald or a Chronomancer (even if they’re not that good) you are gonna trash the DH in most scenarios.
When fighting a group of DHs stay ranged keep up the poison field most of the time and autoattack, proceed to close combat 1 by 1 once they have wasted renewed focus and have low health.
Easy peezy.

This page has the current metabuilds (builds that have been voted by the players as the most effective for each game type).
For PvE (Fractal on the metabattle page) you’ll see that goal is to have a high damage output. Some people will ask you to play this build for specific content (dungeons, fractals and raids). WvW is not my thing but we are boon providers in zergs and survive through Altruistic Healing (this build is no good for solo roaming).
As you can see, if you choose to play meta builds, you will require 2 different armor and weapon sets.
Good luck with that Mike, thanks for the updates.
It’s nice to post our ideas; really hope devs read these forums from time to time to know what the player base wants. On my part I would love to see tomes come back, getting Tome of Wrath and Tome of Courage a rework and giving us a new set of skills when in use or even shifting our weapon skills through tomes.
I don’t think new elite specializations will include weapon sets but who knows, only time will tell.
I built a tome based spec a couple month back. I called in the Archivist.

Hey you have some good ideas there, kudos to your imagination, liked a lot of skills and names you chose for them. Would change one thing and it’s the name, because of an april fool’s joke from another game (D3) for a class that never came out.
However lately now that i am on the grind for a legendary and my ascended armors, gold seems to be my only issue, and the fact that if i so chose, i could very well just skip the entire process has started to get on my nerves a bit.
If the only way to get a Legendary and ascended gear was by a credit card I would agree with you. But it’s not. It’s not like you need Gift of Visa or Gift of Mastercard to craft them. Ascended gear falls like everywhere and you can change the stats through the MF.
I have 3 legendaries and 2 full ascended characters (3 soon) and have never bought gems to exchange for gold; when I have bought gems it’s merely to buy gem store items, conversion is not profitable IMO since it’s too easy to make gold in this game.
BIS gear (if you can call it that) in this game has a very slight difference with regular gear and it’s generally cosmetic. My advice is to take a break from the game if crafting a Legendary is getting on your nerves, it’s supposed to be fun!

Ho, traveler and welcome to Tyria!
Think this reddit post covers about everything you must know. Most important thing: Don’t rush, enjoy the game, getting to max level is pretty easy and should not be your only goal. Make sopme friends, take a lot of screenshots and feel free to PM here or in game for help https://www.reddit.com/r/Guildwars2/comments/3iygvj/guide_to_new_players_free_to_play/
I dont even know where to begin with addressing everything thats wrong with guardians…
They are so badly designed. This whole trapper thing is so ridiculous. “Dragon Hunter”, what is the dragon supposed to land on the traps? Or is he supposed to pull a dragon with the rope into the traps? He can pull a dragon?! Why is the “all mighty knight” class a woss class that just hides behind traps like a sissy?
And the gameplay? What do they do? stand and Auto until you walk into their traps.
And their traps deal way to much dmg in pvp! I’ve tanked up my build this season just because Guardians and Thiefs are so ridiculous. But still guards can just delete me. They delete all my friends too. No matter what classes or builds we play. just step on a trap and you loose 80 % of your HP. Just a pixel splash on the screen…
I have just zero respect for the game developers at this point. So weak and weird decisions being made…
Wont spend much more time with GW if this is going to keep up. None of my friends either. This is just something of the worst we ever seen in a game..
Everyone of you who argue differently that this is fine somehow should really try to think and actually look at a Guardian while the abomination is playing.Rework Guardians!!
Picture this: DH drops all of his traps including healing and elite skill while equipping runes of the trapper. He gets 10 second super speed.
Even worst: Mesmer has Temporal Enchanter traited, he casts 4 glamour skills (including elite) now you have a whole PvP team with 8 sec of SS + Quickness from Time Warp (good luck surviving this).
Seems a bit unbalanced.
Bloomy is BS </3 went from killing him while watching a movie to this

Hi there,
Long time no see (coming from a rather long break), if i recall correctly Phalanx Strength was once about giving might to others whenever you got it yourself, somehow now i’m seeing the words “whenever you give might to yourself”, maybe i’m mistaken but it seems once every might was given to others, now is all the might you can apply actively on yourself.
If that’s the case, how come the builds i’m seeing don’t address this limitation, as in the builds on metabattle don’t seem to carry things like “For great justice” or Frenzy or even the trait to apply might on healing skill. So is it enough to just use the 33% might on crit food + the greatsword trait? So is it camping sword time with no axe/mace swap? I’ve only done a couple of runs and yes, i am having a hard time keeping 25 might all around (yes i do have the 6 runes of strength).
First of all welcome back.
Now I must ask, do you have the expansion? This build works with the Berserker specialization because once you enter berserk mode you will gain Fury, Quickness and Swiftness. I say this because you’re talking about FGJ, so you must come back after a long break. Quickness + Fury enable more Might from GS trait and sigil of strength while using Axe/Mace. Sigils of Battle (used before) are useless now because this build doesn’t have Fast Hands and those sigils were nerfed from 3 to 2 might stacks on swap.
As you might see, the Meta build focuses in getting adrenaline fast (healing skill, signet and head butt) so you can enter berserk, gain Quickness and Fury and thereby give Might to yourself and your party.
Maybe you’re just a bit rusty and need to get used to the rotations again… Or you played FotM with the boon steal instability.
I use the Ascension on both my Guardian and my Warrior because they have golden armors (illumination dye) and it looks pretty good with it. So I would suggest to check the style and dyes you’re planning to use before chosing (use preview). Ad infinitum also looks awsome in some characters and it’s a mid term goal for me.
Problem with Ascension is that with new PvP season it will become far more common among players. Less “prestige” if you want to see it in that way.
(edited by NumenorLord.6539)
I just tomed a guardian up to 80 and threw my ascended gear on her, I’m running gs / mace+focus with full zerker
I started doing scale 45+ fractals. I have 12k hp and am getting almost 2 shot by some creatures. anybody have any advice? i didn’t have any issues at all with my warrior in full zerker, but for some reason my guardian seems extremely squishy in comparison
This might come as a stupid question but… Do you have agony resistance on you? Without AR you must be getting between 53% and 74% more damage. Might wanna check this if not https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Agony_Resistance being 2 shot in lvl 45 doesn’t sound right.
When it comes to FotM I prefer running with my PS Warrior, even if Guardian is my main. I only switch if there’s another PS in the party. Reason is that banners and permanent 25 Might stacks help a lot more towards party damage than what I would do with my Guardian or even my Revenant (heavy armor classes ftw).
Sword got buffed, I was asking for that for so long… That I came back after a 2 month break from GW2 and now I’m happily running around Tyria Bolt/Rodgort in hand. But I would still like to see the following:
1. Hammer coming back to PvP, in order to do that Glacial Heart must be in another specialization line. No more choosing between Absolute resolution and Glacial Heart.
2. Casting sword #3 while moving.
3. Torch #5 reduced cast time and make it… you know…. burn foes… you’re like spiting fire at them and not applying burning.
4. That would be all so I’m dropping this here: POKEMON GO MINIGAME IN GW2 WITH MINIS!
I would work around some main concepts
- Power Builds: Traps should become symbols. Easy buff that would make Longbow useful again. True Shot’s damage must be buffed and cripple enemies it hits.
- Condition Damage Builds: Radiance line is good imo, but Virtues line needs to be reworked so Supreme Justice and Permeating Wrath synergize and don’t exclude each other (alongside Big Game Hunter); these traits should get buffed because you’re giving up 2 main defensive traits to take them and Guardian depends on 1 single condition that can be easily cleansed.
- Bunker Builds: To be competitive against Druid and Tempest, Battle Presence should grant protection to nearby allies. Indomitable Courage should grant Aegis to nearby allies each time you successfully block an attack. Sanctuary must be reworked so it has a reduced cooldown and cast Regeneration upon usage. A trait (Major Master) could cast blind when blocking. Hunter’s Fortification could cast Shield of Absorption once you get to 15% of your Health Pool.
- Spirit Weapon Builds: Make Spirit Weapons usable like Elementalist’s conjured weapons, they would become like a 3rd weapon set (Exotic Stats) and get destroyed on swap.
That’s why the first thing you do when crafting a legendary weapon is to get the 77 Mystic Clovers, so T6 materials become handy (lesson learned).
On the other hand you can also do several (most of them actually) PvP tracks (with guild pvp exp boost) that will reward you clovers upon completion.
It started as a fundraising to buy Mossman a new house but it got out of control. New FotM update: Fight Mossman in the Playboy mansion.
Seems really interesting. Will give it a try when a get home, sometimes I get tired of playing YOLO Rifle Warrior. What about changing sigil of purity for transference/energy? Seems you already have a lot of condition removal.
Thanks for sharing!
My point is… I don’t want to deal damage, or apply boons. Just heal as long as possible. Vitality is not useless in that case.
But you would be.
^This. The small amount of power will make you you less useless in PvE. The only scenario where a healer is needed (and it’s debatable) is in Raids and in PUG groups (poor organization/players skills) even the healer’s damage is needed to finish the boss before the clock goes to zero. In PvP and WvW it might become viable but will boost (even more) bunker builds.
I don’t know if meta or not, but I’m having tons of fun with this http://gw2skills.net/editor/?vVAQNAT8fnsABlDhVdCODB8DhF/hyKAqg6Ue9H/3PLJqwLE-TJhAgAaHBggLAAwDBAe/BA it uses Mercenary’s Amulet (not available in gw2skills yet). Focuses in bursting/burning /crippling. Change JI for Smite Condition against heavy condi teams. Unscathed Contender can give a damage bonus but prefer to have Master of Consecrations for Purging Flame’s cleanse and burning damage.
