Alright, I know this might seems like trolling, while it is not.
I’m rank 29 as of now, not really far from a complete beginner, and I see, especially since the new patch, all kind of topics where people are being teamed with noobs (or so they say)
my question is: how do you spot them?
There is, of course, a few things that even I can notice:
No communication or organization being an example.
But apart from that, surely even some noobs cares to communicate or act like they know something, so how can you see them?
I’m asking out of curiosity, but also to avoid doing the same mistakes, to be a better PvP player…
Thank you
I’d say dungeons since most people want 80s for them
world bosses
Fractals
Ascended
Legendary
And anything you could do before
As long as you enjoy yourself then you can call that endgame
I think they elevated the drop chance of precursor in actual game?
Three of my guildies got a prec in less than a week, all from mobs, chests or the likes (one even got zap 2 times in the spawn of a day…)
but well I’m also part of the guild where one of them got his tenth one… so that might just be luck for all I know.
ANYWAY don’t give up, you’ll have it one day
I’ll add you as soon as I can get on my game
There is a difference between criticism of character and builds, i however got the worst one. Like i said this thread was made for help with the build not for yo to point out the flawed logic of me posting this. Can you please stop derailing the thread, all i was asking for was help with my build. Not a tag team forum warrior battle.
Is this how the community on forums is like? If so this will be my last post, have no time to deal with rudeness.
Calm down and get off your horse.
He’s never been rude, never insulted you, he simply commented on your thread.
We cannot help you because the builds are so similar that it comes down to a matter of preference.
He could have said: I prefer #1 because of survivability
but you could as well refuse it simply because dishing out more damages and sacrificing on vit/toughness seems to be a better idea.
Don’t misunderstand, we are glad to help you, this is one of the best community I’ve been part of since I started playing game, but you asked us to chose for you, we answered in all due respect that we couldn’t and you reply back that we are rude and criticizing you. The only one who’s being rude, in fact, would be you. For ignoring sound advice and telling people off when they replied you with honest answers. If you ask for help, be prepared to not receive what you WANT to hear. Listen to people and their comeback, they have no interest in being rude to you this is your game and your gameplay, not ours.
And honestly? You want true criticism and unhelpful answer? Here have this:
There’s so much thread on that forum already that having one where we’re asked to chose for someone else where we have no idea what said person wants or prefers is useless and taking space for other threads where actual help and comeback is welcomed, you know what you want, we don’t. The builds are inerently the same with less than 5% difference, chose what YOU prefer because we don’t know what YOU want. We are not paid or receiving anything to help you, we are doing this freely and are not obliged to help you in any way. Don’t get all kittened off at us…
Oh and my answer would be #3… but it’s personnal.
^yup this.
Made the mistake once, regretted it.
But I’d suggest to wait until 80 before worrying about your look.
I know you want to look absolutely stunning, but you probably don’t have enough skins to make nice mix and you,ll just waste transmutation stone since you’ll change your equipment frequently.
Wait until you have your exotic armor and then style it as you wish.
Don’t fret about seeing insanely amazing good looking people on maps, they probably are downleveled 80 and you’ll soon be amongst them
Well “don,t really work” in a game where you can play as you wish… I agree it is not the most efficient, but as a D/D ele in PVE, they still work great.
You just need to dodge… a lot…
That’s what I tried to do, I just hope it wasn’t too much at once
As for the music : Intro by the XX but I think you saw it from the title
Funny thing, it was the soundtrack that made me thought about doing the video
I so wish to have thought about the screenshot before T_T
I will also speak for myself, because what I found out about GW2 was that Endgame enjoyment truly was a matter of personal preference.
I was mainly doing WvW, staying away from PVP, and rarely doing PVE. I was alone and didn’t really enjoy the game.
It was a “I don’t know what else to play” sort of game.
Then I entered a guild, discovered fractals and finally had enough money to lvl my crafting to 500.
I set my eyes on Ascended, never thinking I’d go through it, and SURPRISE! I managed to have a full set of Ascended (armor, weapons and trinkets) in a matter of 3 months.
This is when I began loving the game, truly, for what it was.
Logging with friends, messing around in the world, with tonics, JP etc.
Doing fractals with a team of knowledgeable people on TS,
being introduced to PvP and fulfilling my competitive side like WvW couldn’t.
I finally discovered that what I thought I loved was simply the only things I dared doing alone.
With a guild, the game changed for me.
I discovered that, at 80, no one will take you by the hand and tell you: this is want you will find fun, this is what you shouldn’t do.
You have to try things, no matter what they are, setting goals (short or long) to achieve to get you hooked. Finding friends to play with.
As Hattoni said, the most important thing is to love your character. No matter the reason. To love having him at 80.
Liking the journey and liking a character are two different thing, with the former not making you enjoy the Endgame experience GW2 as to offer.
Once you’ll hit the one you love, you’ll know it and the whole game will change.
Hi guys!
Here’s my Guild Wars 2 GMV.
To make a story short, I always wondered why I couldn’t find a short video about Guild Wars 2 with actual gameplay that I could show someone when explaining the game to him.
So I thought: Then why not making it myself!
So here’s my GW2 tribute, only through an elementalist POV (sorry T_T), but I still think it shows pretty well what sort of game one might get into.
I hope you’ll like it!
(lazy me putting the video description almost word for word, don’t bother reading it XD)

I usually successfully complete my rotations, but it’s all a matter of speed and map awareness… As others said they are guide, something that people have already tested and noticed their effectiveness. Don’t simply write them down, learn them why do they work together? Why begin in fire and not in water, llearn the cooldown, combo and effects of each skills
Once you’ve done that the rotation will come by themselves because you will know why you should use them in that order.
Often changing team but the regular one we have is a shatter mes, venom sharing thief, a guard and 2 Cele knowing each other’s rotation by heart (have you ever seen two churning earth landing at the same time? Or might stacking on two perfectly stacked fire field? Glorious…)
Were usually winning by a large Margin (won a 500/32 game)
Aand you just forgot the might rotation in your burst…
Air 4, Air 5, air 3, air 1 3 or 4 times, fire 2, fire 5, fire 3 & 4, water 3, water 4 (water attunement may be skipped if you think you will need the heal) Dodge and change to earth during Dodge in fire field, earth 4, earth 3, earth 5, pop stability and LF if needed, earth 2, air 1 3 or 4 times rince and repeat.
This is my basic rotation in D/D.
Of course it is adapted depending on the situation do not waste earth 4 if enemy is not in range or use churning if you’re being bursted
Am I the only one who’s thinking of the pussibility that this might be a troll or something?
I probably shouldve posted this in the PvP forum, its obvious this forum is full of WvWers and Hotjoin Heros. “Stealth is broken”. LOL. “Mesmer counters ele”. LOL. I play Mesmer occasionally and Id like to think in good at it, but vs the best eles I have less than 50% chance to win. In the lower tier where terrible eles cant dodge mirror blade maybe it counters ele, but if the game was balanced around that then thieves would be even more nerfed, warrior woukd be more nerfed, etc. The game cant be balanced around terribads. Also to the guy above that said that “this elititst guy can say he can 1v1 eles but complains anyway”. That’s because I can beat an ele in an open field 1v1 over a period of 3-4+ minutes. In an actual game its impossible for me to beat one on point unless they’re AFK. I can kill a bunker guard faster. Obviously there’s a problem.
@Blackbear Caed and Sizer dont beat Eles 50% of the time. At this point you have no idea what you’re talking about. At top tier if an ele can kite well enough they have a 50% chance to 1v1 a necro.
Psst, here’s one of your post from not too long ago:
DD ele skillfloor is incredibly low and the meta spec as it is is the most overpowered cheesiest build in the PvP meta. The skillcap is also comparitively low as I can beat all “pro” elementalists 50% of the time and I barely play ele. If you really thought LB ranger was cheesey, I would advise against playing DD ele. Go play engi, its not quite as faceroll and is actually balanced while still being complex and fun to play. The meta for engineer is 60044 with rifle and hoelbrak runes. You can probably find a more in depth build if you go on the engi forums.
inb4 ele is hard and not cheesey
Maybe you should keep track of the bullkitten you’re saying… if a supposedly master ele isn’t able to beat ele… L2P man L2P
On another note here’s another post I found that couldn’t explain better my view on current ele Meta:
If you want a TL: DR, it’s at the bottom.
So this is just a crazy theory I’m working on about why people are quite recently claiming ele to be god tier or whatever in Spvp. I feel most people in general just don’t know enough about the class to really fight them well, and because of this assume they are OP. At this point, different people will do different things, some will roll an ele because they want to be that “OP” class they just got destroyed by, others will carry on, maybe try ele to see what it is all about. But those people that rolled the class just because they wanted to be the top dog probably will never truly understand the class enough to play it well and definitely not enough to get better as a player to fight them.
I say this because it seems no matter what build I run, people just have such trouble dealing with elementalists. They either try to burst apply conditions before I enter water, or try to burst me down just as I switched into earth, heck, some just keep firing away after I’ve popped a Magnetic Aura or Magnetic Wave and proceed to kill themselves. Obviously better players won’t be fooled so easily, but at the same time I’m finding incredibly gimicky one trick pony builds to be quite effective. Of course, the people who do understand the class rarely have too much trouble with me.
I’m by no means a great ele, maybe average if we’re being generous. Thieves that use the stolen skill as soon as I leave water and interrupt as soon as they see ether renewal, they kill me easily. Necros that know to wait until I cycle through my blast finishers to corrupt boons and chill, they can usually shut me down fast. Zerkers who burst as soon as I leave water or earth have a much better chance than those who just use their burst because it’s off cooldown.
Only reason I’m bringing this up is because of late I’ve been using a rather one trick pony build using S/F where really my only dps is burns and bleeds. Nothing but signets and I never leave earth( Courtesy to Diva for really bringing the build into creation and coming up with the idea) and yet people still struggle desperately sometimes. Obsidian flesh tricks way more people than it should and the fact that no one bothers to cleanse 15 stacks of bleed on themselves but use a cleanse on a single burn is staggering. This build uses neither celestial or any form of might stacking, with the only might coming from Fire Aura procs.
I think (no pro here)
Best dmg output would be S/D
For fast paced “in your face” style: D/D
“Easy” mode full of support: Staff
If you’re asking this in order to be sure to choose THE best weapon set, I’m telling you: There is no best weapon set. Each of them have their pros and cons and their uses in different situations.
But yeah I think S/D has the best dmg potential of all.
And here I thought ele players were paying attention to small details…
Guys… not proud of you… you wasted your time here…
Hi guys!
I know there’s been countless topics on the subject, however I think they are now pretty far away in the forum.
I think we can all pretty much agree that the default layout (f1, f2, f3, f4, 0-9, etc) is far from optimal
However since we all are different people, I’m interested to see how you decided to change your controls and which keyboard and mouse you possess (do you like them, would you change them…)
While it can be interesting for veterans players, the new ones could also find interesting ideas as to where to bind which keys.
Let’s begin with myself:
I have a programmable g700 mouse from logitech with a steelseries RAW keyboard (all those white leds)
Movements: W, A, D (strafe)
Dodge: S
My attunments are on: ctrl, c, v, wheel click.
Left 1-5 untouched
heal: r
utilities skills: MAJ, mouse 4, 5, 7
Next target: Mouse 6
about face: q
Autorun: tab
Shown enemies name: Alt (which is also my push-to-talk button… need to change that)
Double tap to evade was removed as soon as it made me do a fall to my death after a particularly frustrating vista in my beginning
I find backpedal to be slow and absolutely non essential. Took a while to get used to, but I’m not missing its existence.
As a gamer, I normally keep three fingers on WAD, thumb on spacebar and pinkie on shift, and it was (with a few adjustments left) what made me the most efficient in multitasking.
I don,t think I missed anything (haven’t got the game open or nearby…)
For PVE since you want the best damage output possible Berserker is usually BiS with scholare runes or ruby (as Neko said)),
For PvP Celestial with rune of strength is also best as of now
WvW is a bit more touchy, since it depends a lot on what you like to do, but most people will suggest you to at least achieve those stats to have a minimum of survivability while dishing out enough damage:
At least 2k power min.
Around 2300-2600k armor
30% crit chance min.
180% crit damage min.
15k health (you can have around 16k if you feel you’re too squishy, but the longer you’ll play the easier it will become to survive with less health (timing your dodge and evade etc.))
With those stats people tend to do fairly well in roaming, if you want to join a zerg getting a bit more toughness/vit and healing power will benefit you and the team more than going full power.
For the runes:
Strength
Hoelbrak
Water
Monk
Scholar
Melandru while I had it
Sigil of battle, force and bloodlust are pretty much what is going around right now
You could also go with sigil of energy and if you have high crit (superior to 50% most of the time) you can go for fire or strength
Avoid sigil that use the same ICD (on swap, on crit and on hit) and if you use stacking bonus (bloodlust for example) Switching weapon (yes going in water count as switching) you’ll lose your stack unless your other weapon have the same sigil.
Do not test your nerves and waste your time on an Ele, it is simply not worth it.
Sometimes the viability of a profession depends on the people behind the screen
but that’s just my opinion
ah you’re right, sorry about that XD
I believe there was probably an ambient that was just in the right angle and that you aoe’d while hitting the guy.
they display higher damage numbers than average (not called critters for nothing).
Just saying, even if it’s probably a troll from the title.
well since you didn’t give your favored playstyle and only want a not very used class or one that can only be well played by a good player
I think from the statistics that Mesmer and Engineer are the less played
All classes really shine with a good player (warrior being the easiest IMO to do well even when mediocre, but really mastering any class requires time and dedication.)
However, I think that the hardest to play well are Elementalist and Engineer.
Mesmer, Necro and Ranger too are hard because of AI
Thief is hard when choosing the right build, and because it is a squishy class that dies way too easily (I still hate the class because of stealth and them having an almost full health bar when going out of it (I love you too Thief players))
From your choice I’d suggest Engi: hard to master, really useful when a good players knows how to handle the profession and it’s one of the less used and most underestimated class of the game IMO.
If you’re on NA just whisper me and I’ll play with you, besides I’m also an ele and without saying that I’m awesome or anything there’s surely some tricks that I know that could help you evolve and I’d be glad to help
Blackgate is NA if some doesn’t know by the way. I would play with you (have a necro lvl 10 and could lvl any class lvl 6 in an hour) however I don’t speak English and my time is limited. Sorry. You can still add me and I could join you when I have the time
Because specializing in something > spreading your stats everywhere. I don’t know much about warriors but they are not a class who would benefit from being mediocre at everything. Your hybrid is everywhere, so spread out that you’ll die against any players that respect itself without doing a scratch
I’d suggest mesmer
I went back and saw that you were right!
I miss clicked probably and didn’t double checked, I did intend on having soothing disruption instead of cleansing wave.
Thanks a lot!!
yeah but you also need a lot of skillpoints
basically buy a ton of flame ram blueprint and use the mystic forge to transform them into superior flame ram > sell them
and voila
If you’re new, then it’s normal for any remotely good player to decimate you.
Moreover if you’re not even 80, then you won’t even be able to scratch the other guy. He’ll just laugh at you, and shot you down without even looking.
and as someone who as an ele as a main character, I don’t think it has what you’re looking for.
It does dish out a ton of pain, but it can take a hit. A single one. That’s it.
It’s the squishiest motherkitten around.
The only way to survive to move-heal-move-clean condi-move-move-move-evade-move-move…etc.etc
I believe that any class can beat any class with enough skills.
as Hex Kor suggested, just create a character level it and see how it feels.
(edited by Pepsi.8907)
Ele needs a lot and I mean a lot of time to master, more than any other class I feel how important good keybinding and good finger dance is to be proficient.
I don’t feel like any other class can give me the same pleasure and same feeling of accomplishment that my ele gives me.
however it is not a forgiving class. If your rotation is wrong, if you make the slightest mistake in your movements or skills than everything can go wrong and the fight you had so much fun with becomes a true nightmare.
It is fun and versatile. It requires skills but you never feel bored because you’re always using the same combination. It is hard, and stressful, but there’s never been a prouder moment than getting out of a fight alone only thanks to a good finger dance.
It’s hell and heaven at the same time.
around 2300 – 2600 armor
around 2k power
around 30% crit chance
and 16k Hp
those are basic stats, you can aim for more or less depending on your style
People do have different gear setup, depending on a lot of things which is probably mainly cash, but also min-maxing a certain stat.
You need to know yourself, your strength and weaknesses.
If you know you’re good enough at kiting, you don’t need a tanky build and can thus aim at something with more power/crit than vit/toughness
However if you’re like me and only know how to roll right into the bad place, aiming for more toughness and vit instead of going for power should do better.
Right now I’m running a mix of valkyrie/knight with runes of divinity, water and traveler. All buff and I have 2.2k power 2.7k armor 23% crit chance and 16k vit
the traits you run, the sigil and runes you’ll have and the stacks you can accumulate (might, bloodlust, applied strength/fortitude) should also play a role when creating a build.
All in all I think each builds should have a personal twist to it to fit the best it can the playstyle you have.
play with this:
http://en.gw2skills.net/editor
be sure to at least get to the minimum stats required and then start min-maxing to find the balance that suits you the most
I had a horrible time with ele, until 50 I think. Or somewhere around the upper levels.
Now I wouldn’t trade it for anything else. It is my main, it is hard but I love it.
You need to keep up with the class for at least lvl 40 and upwards.
It’s long but a class really shines when their traits and higher tier skills gets unlocked.
As a main ele here are the tips I learned
Rebind your keys
the default key of attunment swap (f1-f4) are excessively counterproductive and will slow you down at the end of the road. Bind them closer to your wasd or whatever keys you use to move
Same with utility skills (6-0)
way to far. As soon as you need to remove one finger from your moving keys, it is too far.
move move move and move.
I can not emphasize this enough. An ele can NOT take hits. It is not a forgiving class, learn to kite and always be in the back of your enemy.
Find weapons sets you like and learn them thoroughly, until your dreams are full of it.
The combo, the details of each skills. Learn the rythme that fit your playstyle the best.
I’m telling you, elementalist is not a forgiving class, it leaves little room for error, it has quite the DPS but it is squishy, frustrating and the finger dance you need to learn is mind numbing.
It will take more times than other class to achieve the same results, and you will often feel frustrated.
However it is fun and rewarding and powerful.
Skills I like (Mind you I’m doing WvW this might not apply in PvE):
Teleport: great evasive or fast moving skill, can combo with channeling skills to place yourself somewhere else.
Cleansing waves: A great must, clean three conditions off you. The less conditions you have the happier you will be.
Signet of air: When I need to move fast this is the one I chose
frost bow: Great aoe weapon. It hits hard and is always welcome anywhere
Armor of earth: the cooldown is horrible, but it is a nice cantrip which decrease the damage you receive by 33% and provide you with stability (which prevent from being moved against your will (launched, stunned ,dazed, floated, knock down etc)
Fiery greatsword: Nice damage, nice aoe, awesomely looking and great when you need to get away, what more could you ask?
Thanks guys! I really appreciate it
Taking into account all of what you said I tweaked things a bit and came up with this:
http://gw2skills.net/editor/?fFAQJAoYhMM6c24wwBf0AEAC5qFjGOQhFjmB-T1RMwAA0DgY/BXKhap8ZnSw7qsgWdCSBonyI-w
Overall I do feel more satisfied, I did not, however, put 4 into arcana a amarathined recommended, maybe it will backfire in the future, however I don’t feel like the default 13 second has ever cause me problem.
I changed my water I to cantrip cooldown reduction
swapped spell slinger for internal fire
changed my toughness food for a precision one
and mixed my gear a bit more.
No I do not have the guard stacks yet, I never saw that I could have them until too late and must wait until I have enough points.
Hi guys, I’m finally getting on the crafting of a full set of ascended gear, and I plan on changing my build quite a bit.
which is right here:
http://gw2skills.net/editor/?fFAQJAoYhMM6c24wwBf0AGAC5qDbGORgDjeB-T1RBABdcCAYRPAN7PklyvzUCOq6PA8AAIFwFLjA-w
I do plan on changing my daggers for ascended (probably soldier), but my weaponsmith is not yet at 500 and all my resources and money is currently going into the gear.
The sigils will stay the same however.
I’m mostly doing WvW either roaming or zerging I prefer the former though and I plan to build for that specifically.
I know the stats I need to aim for are around
2200 power
2300-2600 toughness
16k health
With the current build I plan on doing I’m getting to those numbers, and even greater, but I still have a couple of questions.
First: my third utility skills.
I have no idea what to put. In zerg I’m using signet of air, but it’s not the best for roaming. I usually switch between Armor of earth (cooldown is a huge turn off despite how much I love it) and mist form (which is decent at best, I don’t like the fact that I’m unable to attack with it) and I’d like an input on what you guys usually use.
Second: My traits.
First, I do like how they are, I get decent might (around 10-15 alone) and I don’t feel like arcane (which seems to be the default choice of many) is something I’m missing out.
However, I feel like my crit chance is lacking, and I’m wondering if I should switch the points I put in earth to air with zephyr’s boon.
Third: The gear
It is related to my second question, whereas I feel quite alright regarding Power toughness and vit, but is precision (and crit chance) important for a roaming ele? Would it truly change the outcome of a battle to lower my vit/toughness/power to get more crit chance, if yes, which gear should I replace for the best outcome possible?
If you have any more remarks concerning my future build, feel free to tell me. I’m far from an expert, and I love hearing constructive criticism.
I know it’s like I’m asking you for a full build, and usually I love testing my own creations, however ascended is a step I can only make once and even then it will take quite some time and ressources. I don’t feel like I have what I need to fully test any builds freely until I reach the best outcome possible for my playstyle which is why I’m asking for your help.
Thank you
(edited by Pepsi.8907)
I won’t, in term of practice I think that ele gave me the whole idea of “You can’t be good and win against real people as soon as you hit 80” and made me learn tolerance, patience and how to keep keyboards intact XD
thanks for the build I’ll try those out, might go for d/p though it seems fun.
I know, they are hundreds if not thousands of topic about what I’m about to ask, and I’m sorry in advance for that,
but I just hit 80 with my thief which will be used exclusively for solo (or small group) roaming in WvW and I’d like to know a build or the stats to aim for in order to be efficient (I do realize that I will need to practice, but currently I have close to no idea to which stats are good with thief)
I have no real restrictions on weapons or build, I simply want something to start with in order no to waste tons of money that I don’t have in testing something that works especially since a lot of my non efficiency will come with the fact that I’ve almost no experience with the thief class.
Thanks a lot guys!
Thanks for the stats, that helps me a lot!
Hi guys! I’ve been away for longer than six months now so, yeah, saying that I’m lost with how things are right now is…well… let’s just say that as a former not-so-good roaming ele in WvW I’m completely baffled.
First: well my guild seems to have fallen so I’m looking for a new guild for a casual player that loves to chat do WvW either roaming, small group or zerg, and have fun , so if anyone has a place to offer, I’ll be eternally grateful.
Second: I need some enlightenment on the new stats and builds (preferably D/D), my former already needed HUGE adjustment and since I’m not a skilled player in roaming solo it’s not a pretty sight (still fun though).
I do not have the time nor the money nor the will to dedicate myself to celestial or ascended or legendary let’s just leave those out if possible, right now I’m running a mainly knight armor with a runes of melandru/water/traveler
trinkets are, well I saw the point before, I don’t anymore. A mix of settler, snowflake and beryl.
weapons are knight daggers. One with sigil of force another with sigil of battle which are my main, and another one I use to stack bloodlust
And since I believe those stats are (still) important here’s the numbers (even if you feel the need, don’t laugh or cry XD)
power: 1826
toughness:: 1746
armor: 2668
vitality: 1186
health: 13505
Precision: 1338
Crit chance: 24
Ferocity:149
Crit damage: 160
Cond. Damage: 48
Healing: 288
For now I’m going to see how it feels in WvW and try to adapt myself, but I’ll probably need help with more experienced ele that actually knows what they’re doing, so any help (no matter how harsh it comes (if I suck, I suck don’t sugarcoat it, but add tips for me)) is more than welcome.
Thanks!
(edited by Pepsi.8907)
I just realized that the build I linked was wrong
I edited it
thanks for your reply
Yes it was harsh, but it was even more needed.
I know I’ve got a lot of work to do, and I expected such reply seeing as how I was pathetic in fight, and if I watch my video, I can see I’m no better than a sitting duck.
I know my combo, I’m just not good enough to think about using them in fight
Both of you pointed out obvious flaws in my gameplay, I’ll improve it, and I’ll come back better.
Thanks ^.^
Hi guys!
I need the help of the community for this one,
a month ago I switched from my glass cannon staff to a d/d build,
simply said, I can’t win, not against good players anyway.
I wanted you to take a look at my build to tell me if it was the build, or my gameplay, that was wrong.
To tell you the truth, I’m still spamming keys, even though I’m more and more capable of analyzing and thinking of the effect I want to do and switching or attacking according to that, it’s still difficult.
So let’s cut the talk, here’s my build and a fairly recent video of me against a thief (over 7 min long), and even though we were playing around, it still represent how I usually fight.
The might and bloodlust I’ve put are the average I stack for each figh and the one I used to build my toon.
http://gw2skills.net/editor/?fEAQJAoIGAIPM5EWGF6o8YmcsB-jEzAYsASQAIRgpPGN2EIQZsIasaHMlZkVnCpeDM3xiq9HACBIbMA-w
I’m still using a third dagger, but I’ve switch from the might on crit to 5% damage.
I don’t plan on getting ascended soon, FoM doesn’t really interest me either.
Don’t worry about “hurting my feelings” or something.
If my gameplay or build is bad, just tell me. with a workaround though, if possible ^.^
be honest, I’m here for that

I finally completed the two builds I wanted for my ele
one is a glass cannon, with a staff and full zerker
Head: named/seer (60-80 map completion loot)
shoulder: Tactical
chest: T3 human cultural
Glove: Flame Legion Glove
Legging: feathered
Boot: feathered
The second is a more defensive oriented with d/d
(only need my celestial trinkets and I’m done)
head: karma exotic armor
shoulder: conjurer armor
chest: tactical
glove: Crafted exotic (doesn’t matter since every skin are cut with the chest piece)
legging: T3 human cultural
shoe: Karma exotic
here is my first character, an elementalist that I’ve creatively named PepsiEle…
I’ve made and am in the process of mastering two builds:
a glass cannon with full berserker gear and staff (first two pictures)
and a more defensive oriented build (d/d with knight armor (that I’ll mix with cavalier and/or valkyrie in the future) and celestial trinkets) (last two)
