Leaving them be is the best option. I treat warriors that use the GS the same way I treat most thieves. They’re meant to be ignored or killed in the most shameless fashion outside of duels and it would be in your best interest to do so too.

I attempted to use the GS on my warrior once and that gameplay wouldn’t be to far off from the OP’s sample.

You can’t ignore them. They outrun almost every profession in the game.

@ Daecollo, stop protecting your 1500 hours favorite played profession warrior. You want it to be even stronger, while in wvw, it’s the most OP profession there is already.

Warrior longbow is the best implementation of all bows. Add to the the incredible strong warrior immunity skills (stability, superior passive healing, berserker stance, endure pain) and you got a OP profession (or close to). Learn to use it, cause its the best bow in guild wars, ironically enough placed on the warrior, wich should be melee only.

Warriors get boosts, but no heal nerfs? C’mon guys, in wvw to bring balance back, healing signet must be brought to something like 300 hps, if it’s still 400 hps in pvp i don’t care, it’s ok but but in wvw it’s superior overpowered. Especially with all immunity warrior has. Full immunity (even thousand hits, wouldn’t kill him + CC immunity (best in game, longest stability, with still super short cd) + crazy healing? No thanks Anet.

Either you balance the profs and i can go back to professions i like more, or i’ll keep playing warrior, cause you give me no choice.

My prediction T1 servers 2000+ glicko, all below 1800 or lower glicko. It’s gonna make the gap bigger. Wich will proof EVERYONE on the forum is right, and all the wvw devs are wrong, no matter how good their intentions are (wich I appreciate). But wrong is wrong. And not admitting major mistake is even more wrong. I rather have you guys not update wvw ever, then to keep on making mistakes. Don’t pressure yourself continuously ‘but we must update’, or we will loose wvw players. Perhaps that’s tru, but boredom kills every game eventually. Making big decission mistakes, however will make you loose a lot of players in short time, and that’s even worse.

15x thief ganking the shrines from one server = win. No other profession can even come close to that ganking potential. And the blood buff, buffs exactly THIS profession the most. Wrong. Thiefs should be nerfed in wvw, or disabled even, they threaten the ‘integrity’ of wvw.

Some people don’t care to spends 100’s/1000’s dollars/euro’s on games cash shop ‘chance based stuff’, they just want the best/coolest stuff. If some people wanna do that on BL chests, so be it. They fund Anet, while Anet is not really forcing other players to buy gems, and even give them the option to buy gems with gold for the really interesting stuff (bank/inventory space etc).

Gandara solution to melee trains

Gandara is a funny server, when you are alone, they would even use 180 cd elite, to ensure the kill on you, while they are with at least 3 people (should be easy enough without elites). When they are alone, and I surprise them, dropping their hp faster then they expected, they always run like headless chickens, STRAIGHT for their friends, to ambush you there. In the end, it’s a bit ridiculous cause as solo roamer you don’t stand a chance against ‘ganking addicted’ servers like gandara.

Basically running away, is the most viable strategy against lame tactics like this. And that in itself is lame. But if that’s how gandara wants to play so be it. Either do fair duels in future or i’ll just runaway. You choice really Gandara

It works like a charm against Seafarer’s rest.

Eh. Mesmers fart stunbreakers and evasion. There’s really no excuse for a mesmer to get stunlocked.

Stop acting like the best mesmer in the world. Being more humble would do you good. I’m sure if i had a camera on your 24/7 gameplay I definitely will catch you sooner or later, catched in a stunlock. Weither it’s often or not, doens’t matter, when it happens, it means, a mesmer is in a weaker spot then say warrior/guard with balanced stance etc.

Colesy go to a race game, and buy the car with best speed (not HP since that doenst equal speed – methafor to power > utility rant you keep doing). Go there, hack the algorithms, conclude, the Newest Ferrarri, is the fastest, get that car, and never look back. Feel proud of yourself of being the best in a simple/single minded game: being the fastest.

Now let guild wars players enjoy their freedom, cause that’s what’s choosing your own weapon set, own traits, and own playstyle do. They give you fun in their own way. If speed is all that matter’s for you so be it. But stop making this forum a mess with your attacks on other players calling them bad, cause you think only math matters.

Why even bother to play mesmer anyway? Warrior Gs 100b+axe has more dps. Yay colesy is bad player. He chose mesmer over warrior with more dps and easier survive mechanics. Where will we write this? Colesy ignoring a faster kill speed, cause he likes playstyle of mesmer more? But oh wait, he told us, only speed matter, not fun… Confused :o

Having the most ‘dps’ does not equal best. End of it. Period. But guess colesy will never see it.

The swords man, may take agro, and be killed after the first hit, (not doing any dps), while Warden, might block ranged attacks, survive because of it, reflect them back (trait), and do aoe damage (Iswordsman isn’t aoe). Is it best dp’s choise? nope it isn’t. But skill nr4 also comes into play. It has an incredible amount of uses, while sword 4 is a bit single purpose (but definitely not bad). Using the warden wisely instead of brainless spamming swordsman, i know wich player i’ll choose.

And what weapon i Use depends on my mood. Sometimes i just take staff because i’m in the mood for it. Using one weapon all time is boring.

I use Greatsword a lot. Why? Cause it fits my playstyle? Cause i like it? Does that make me a bad player? I know i’m not the best, but i’m neither the worst. So i think the definition bad doesn’t apply here as i’m inbetween.

If we wanna play Philosphy with the word: ‘bad’, will what about this. Colesy is bad person cause he’s not smart enough to understand OP’s view of the matter. He’s not even mature enough to open his mind for it. So he’s bad, since he’s not as good as other people in this topic. Is this right? Of course it isn’t. But by Colesy’s tunnel vision it is Enjoy your own weird rants, colesy, just hope they don’t fire back onto you.

My concern Devon is, that Burst builds get the most out of this. A backstabk of 7k will now do like 7,5-8k. The extra armor one can get does not offset this by much. Even with ascended armors (+5%) the formula doesn’t allow to counter this small on paper, massive in actual play power boost to thiefs. Are there any concerns to ‘keep’ thiefs in the right stop? It’s already out of hand how many ganking thiefs are around and with the orb buff even more will come alive, then to add orb buff + ascended power creep = to much, thiefs will oneshot even warriors. It’s over the top. I think ascended in wvw is ok for all except thief. You may call this tunnel visison, but backstab & co have by FAR the highest modifiers in game. And slight boost to them in power, makes a big difference in outcome. Backstab should be capped at some point. It’s by far the most crazy skill effect in game, and should not be allowed to further power creep. No even by ‘seemingly innocent’ 5%.

I want to bring to Anet’s attention that their way of balancing stuff (aka nerf every op meta build, leave the rest mostly alone), will in the end leave 0 viable builds open. I loved gw1 cause certain professions (ritualist, necromancer), had lots of option that ALL were viable. In gw2 that is much harder. I had at certain points decided ‘yay i found the profession i love, and i’ll stick completely with it, legendary focus and all that soulbound stuff’. Then the nerfs came. Confusion nerf to mesmer, was the biggest one for me. That simply 100% destroyed condition mesmer for me. While you guys may look at it as viable, it’s not really good. This nerf may have balanced the game a bit. But it also killed a build. And you killed lots of other builds with it.

Say the game, at launch had 20 viable builds per profession. I would say there’s only 10 (50%) of them left, on some profession even worse. Nerfing even more will make it worse.

TL:DR Anet time for nerfing is over (unless really needed, like ‘maybe’ for skullcrack and healing signet or perma stealth). It’s time to sit, and boost all the Underpowered stuff instead looks at rangers, looks at guardian weapon variation, looks at necro trait, looks at engie auto attacks. Nerf time, or ‘kill build’, time is over.

Simple but high impact gameplay fixes

I dislike the dodge recuding system. It’s good as it is now. But nerfing it would make ‘first strike, first win’ pvp game. Now dodge are a barrier, that you must break true, before you can waste your best skills. Reducing dodge effectiveness, would make skills like skullcrack in my opinion overpowered. Same for fear, backstab and other high power modified skils. The suggestion sounds incredible great on paper (and hey congratz for typing it all out), but it would not make pvp better. If anything worse. So i really must strongly disagree with it.

I agree with stability being to strong. (in pvp). In wvw a nerf should be bad though, everyone would be stunned 100 times per minute. It would be ping pong. No thanks there. That’s why wvw/spvp splits seriously should be considered.

Wathever spvp balance you do, keep in mind wvw chars are 20-40% stronger due to food, other buffs, stronger gear, and other kinds of power creep. What may seem balanced in pvp, isn’t in wvw. I’m not asking for a perfect wvw (it will never be, but keep it within reason. Especially thiefs, with ascended power creep are getting a little to close to easy one shot kills).

And please don’t remov all passives from the game. You make it sounds like they are for noobs but they aren’t. You mentioned spirits. Best example ever that you are wrong. A spirit can die. A dead spirit is useless especially cause it causes a cooldown. That requires strategy from you to time it’s spawn and use of it. The passive bonus is more then warranted for this risk. Saying it’s brainless, is a bit of an empty argument. Secondly stuff like ‘signet of stamina’ are also not necessary win buttons. You get more dodging, but if you time them in wrong way, they are still useless. They don’t freely give you a victory.

some of the op’s suggestion could be implemented, but not in it’s full extend, maybe 30-70%. Cause op’s vision of the game is ‘action and response’. While that is nice in it’s own way it’s way more frustration and hardcore. It will be like gw2, except, with all the dodge/block nerfs he’s mentioning, we will be even more defenseless then in guild wars 1. It will be a bad attempt at remaking gw1, while destroying a core component of guild wars 2 that’s actually very fun, but lot’s of people don’t realize. That thing is dodging.

TL:DR The suggestion are good but to drastic. Don’t destroy core (existing) parts of the game to balance it. Dodging is cool imo and needs no drastic overhaul. Taking it away would make the game flat, and frustrating, and even a bit to hardcore (casuals left in the dark). Just polish stuff, don’t do big overhauls unless necessary.

Atm i have a choice, play my favorite professions (ele, ranger, and to some extend necro, although i don’t like the direction anet went with those), and be underpowered (seriously even their auto attacks are crap wich are 80% of the games damage), or play warrior and have immunity available to virtually everything.

1) Double endure pain (trait+skill), 2) longest utility stability in the game, with still an incredible short cd (40 sec), 3) best healing skill in the game, wich on top of it, is split up in increments per second, so poison affects it less, and can never ever be interrupted or removed. 4) Both rangers very good trait ‘50% endurance regen’ and lyssa effect (remove all conditions), in one powerfull signet, with short cd. Yes you loose one for another, but that barely is a downside. 5) Most stuns available in game, and on short cd. 6) After RTL nerf, the best profession to disengage a battle from (apart from thief). Rush, Sword 2 and gs 3 are just incredible good. 7) The best ‘damage while completely avoiding damage’-skill in game (Whirlwing attack). best elite in game to combine with rune of lyssa. This aint a problem apart from the issue other professions are sitting with not so cool 180+ sec cd elites. (Venom and flesh golem both have issues why they are slight/a lot less good then Signet of rage for lyssa rune effect). 9) most immunity skills in game (dogged march, berserker stance, endure pain etc, passive > active, and warrior excels in this). 10) Incredible good condition removal, while it may not look that way. Especially cleansing Ire (8 sec cd, potentially with 3 condition removed), is incredible strong, compared to say mesmers/rangers. to strong. They basically completely removed warriors biggest downside: conditions. 11) Best hp/armor combo in game (and that with all the stuff listed before this, the power creep difference becomes apparent). 12 Best damage modifiers igame (both base, and full power/berserker builds). 13) Easiest prof to get perma fury on, wich equals 420 precision, wich means, this is 420 FREE STATS that can be invested elsewhere. Again massive powercreep. As if Healing signet ain’t enough, they have Adrenal health, wich is stronger as a major minor, compared to Ranger Grandmaster ‘beastmaster’ trait. Stronger and half trait points, and that compared to a profession wich already has harder time surviving then a warrior. 14 Most weapon sets in game, (takes a lot more time to get bored with). 15) Best bow (sb/lb both) in game, especially combo finisher wise. Sb is slower, and is harder to land projectiles with, the blast maybe slightly better, but will drain viable initiative away. 16) 5 sec weapon swap. This is a big one! I can’t believe how many times, on another profession i’m like ‘omg weap swap cd, get ready will you, i need ranged/melee now instead of the other’. Warrior? no prob, I never have to wait for weapon swapping. Add on that the general low cooldowns compared to other professions, and you got a true winner. Only engineer kits come close to this, but they have big downsides (use up utility slow, are usually less potent, just more defensive, etc).

1 vs 1 op in my opionion, in worse case use sword 2+4 to runaway and get back. Only when overrun by conditions (multiple necros, engie, rangers etc), then they will melt faster then ele/guard/necro.

And @ counter arguments like ‘but profession X can do this too’, yes but at a much bigger opportunity cost (skill slot, or more trait points). And they can’t take so much of these advantages at same time.

All the advantages I listed either have to be looked at carefully and some of them nerfed. I don’t like this however though. It feels like warrior is where is should be (apart from healing signet, that’s just op, we know you won’t boost all other heals in game, to balance against this one, so the easiest and only way to fix this is nerf healing signet slightly). Stuff like Fast hands, i don’t know why warrior alone should have this. Ranger, necro, guardian would be a lot more playable with something like this.

Barbed precision is incredible good. If you can’t see that you gotta learn it better. It kicks kitten with Rabid build. And no it doesn’t have internal cooldown. It’s 2 sec bleed that very often proc. In good condition build that’s 2x 130 (at least, without might/corruption stacks) bleed damage. Just for triggering this effect ONCE. You can trigger it very often with scepter. with heavy duration bleed increase, it can become 3 secs i think. Or it became 2 because of heavy duration increase. Either way, it increases your damage a lot more then you think, or compared to other minor traits.

25% Traveler's boost & Compounding Celerity?

I’ve been chased on my warrior so many times, and so many times 4 people (different profs, so hard to all have the same speedhacks at same time), they managed to close on on me without leap skills, while me having swiftness. I use ‘look back over shoulder’ button all the time, i’m sure i haven’t missed anything.

About combat, the moment I drop out of combat they do to, and vice versa, so that should not be possible.

Weren’t runes of speed +7% swiftness speed before? Maybe it still works that way and is a text error? Tbh I’d like the old effect more then new one. For new effect, traveler rune seems better.

25% Traveler's boost & Compounding Celerity?

Wrong pyro. Especially incombat. In wvw either 50% of enemies use speedhacks OR it stacks in combat. For 20 sec neither me or enemies use leap skills. I have swiftness, they have speed signet. (ele). But he’s also in lightning attunement (thus the trait minor can boost it 10%). He kept getting closer to me without EVER using a speedskill (RTL, burning speed). I had perma swiftness wich should be the cap. It wasn’t. And this happened not just a few times, but a hell of a lot of times. So I doubt it’s hacking.

PS only talking incombat, out of combat, 33% swiftness is hardcap only possible boost seems ‘runes of speed’.

Well I just lived with it by buying 4 full sets the first time they came, and another 2 sets this time. That’s 6 full sets. If i want to change main, I don’t have to worry about this anymore. And farming has repaid a lot of these already. In a few months all the sets are repaid, so why should I regret it? I know there’s always better options but Anet needs their money. Be happy they give you the option to buy it with gold. I delayed my legendary/commander tag a long time, to buy stuff like this first, since i know gem price will only go up. I’m glad i did that now, and I catched up (got my commander tag now, and precursor).

I like achievement and i have a lot of free time (part-time job) but even I agree with OP. The pace is waaaaay to fast. And the content ends. Living story is no more then a temporary Dynamic event. Once it’s gone, it’s gone for eternity. In gw1 a superior mission (aka living story here, but much better), you could repeat it as many times until you were bored. I repeated some missions ovre 50 times, cause they were so much fun. Now in gw2 i don’t have freedom, YOU (anet) dictate me what to do, and because of it I get bored faster (not slower).

Imo ranger has following issue: Longbow/SB are fun but to single target, SB bleed application (especially duration) could use a little boost or add conditions on skill 2-5.

Longbow nice but to single target. Damage ok with berserker but to low with PVT set, it should be (minimum damage, while not increase damage for crit damage builds.

Sword is nice but gimmicky, the root on 1 is weird, and will sometimes teleport you over the place. It should be improved. Damage with power builds should be increased. One of the 3ple chain should do a bleed, so it supports conditions builds. Nr 2 definitely needs improvement, it reacts to slow (slower then dodge, so it rarely acts as a dodge, making you still take full hp. The second comeback skill, should be somehow improved. It’s to easy to see it coming, or just to ignore it, since it’s not treatening. 3 is sort of ok, but could use improvement a bit. (animation).

Axe after cast is to long. Otherwise this weapon is very interesting. Base damage could be increased a bit.

Offhand axe 4 is very nice. 5 is to gimmicky. For a skill nr 5 is simply doesn’t cut it. Especially the root is bad. No matter how good they make this even afte retaliation addition, the root makes the skill sort of bad.

Torch is good, but should be like necro marks base = 180 radius, improved (trait) = 240 radius. 120 radius on nr 5 skill is a joke. nr 4 is ok.

Dagger offhand is ok imo. Only problem is that both 1h mainhands have their own problems making it hard to even put a spot free (by using them) to put an offhand like this on your bar.

Greatsword, auto attack damage to low. I understand the ‘ranger has pet to damage, and it’s evasive attack so it must be balanced’, but this damage is just waaaay to low. takes ages to kill something with it. 2 is ok, but misses an ‘active’ element, like combo finisher. A whirl (even though animation wise blast is better fit – but would be op) finisher would be nice.

Overall the weapons are to much single target focused. Other profs have weapon skills that are almost spammable and hit 5 targets. Only a trap build can make up for it but then you loose survival utility skills (stunbreak, signets etc). To few/to few stunbreak skills. Perhaps one of the shouts should give stability, to make a shout build more interesting.

The elites all have their moment that they could be very usefull. Problem is cooldowns (especially spirit), and not able to combine them. The stability on the rampage is nice, but still to long cd compared to others, and you use most of your offensive /defensive elite capabilities by it (spirit/entangle). It’s always a big sacrafice imo. But cooldowns are biggest issue. Fix em. Spirits should have -20% cd trait for instance.

Pets die to fast to aoe’s. And there’s to few mechanics to give us control over the pet to safe them.

Still a fun class, but one with issue’s.

Traits could use a overhaul too, and condition removal needs to be improved.

All I see is + 100.000.000.000 added to him and a few dungeon mechanics in the process. I already told myself ‘nope, this is not for me, i hate spamming dps, and have the feeling it won’t finish for the first hours’. Then they show ‘finish it or you don’t get 100 achievements’. Lame, very lame. Anet.

Did you watch the live stream? There is now more to the fight than just “spamming dps” and it’s entirely possible we will fail it. A lot.

Which is exactly the kind of thing the game needs. I’m looking forward to it.

He should be harder but without the ultra buff to his hp. Smashing the same boss over and over for more then an 20 minutes is boring no matter the mechanics. While his mechanics are a lot stronger, the biggest barrier is still his hp, wich will proof badly for any zerg not geared balanced (so they can still dps fine, unlike full tanky pvt/cleric builds). You see it in Scarlet now already. Bad dps zerg needs 2 min to kill scarlet. Good dps zerg needs 1 min to kill her.

Asura is cheap. And don’t come with crappy counter arguments. An asura dodge can be mistaken for a mini jump. If they combine both, and spam them in chain, you will never know if he dodge or abuse mini jump fooling you.

Rune of lyssa is must on short elite CD’s.

Cleric is to low damage, berserker is not tanky enough, instead go hybrid, Knights gear, but use all passive healing possible with traits (adrenal health, signet heal, shouts heal, rune of lyssa 6th trigger 5 sec regen, + block + protection). This is the new meta/perfect balanced warrior build with almost no downsides. Thanks for bringing this cheap build to my attention Asura Votf warrior. I will use it like hell until they nerf it XD

Condition spam is meta. No way getting around it.

Spirit ranger can make it so chaotic, you must manage to click inbetween 10+ enemy tags to find the ranger. Multiply that with more rangers, and it’s a mess. Purely the ‘try to select the ranger mess’ might give the ranger team the advantage, player skills being what they are.

When the enemy team ignores a point, you win the game, you just walk to it and feel heroic, but in essence you are not a hero, because that takes no skill at all. There’s 1000’s of people playing pvp and every one of them can do that. Seeing it in a top tire tournement is disapointing, that decides the match sort of. It gives a wrong impression on the skills of either of the teams, cause the score is affected a lot by an easy action like this.

Thiefs must look for 1 vs 1’s, or they will die most likely in a tourny.

Aoe’s = meta. Using single target weapons won’t get you anywhere, apart from thiefs perpahs, and maybe mesmers. (but mesmers have aoe shatter, no matter build). The hardest spamming aoe team most likely wins the 5 vs 5 duel (not match). That’s why necro is still so meta. 4 aoe marks, 2 more if you use scepter/dagger in other slots. 2 incredible big/heavy aoe’s with profession mechanic (death shroud). And epidemic on top of it. The amount of pressure a necro can do is overwhelming. They lack any proper form of defence though.

Asura dodging fools enemies. This video there were so many bad timed dodges, and the only reason for this is the fake/weak/non existant asura animations.

Mesmers have 5+ incombat leapbacks/cloacks they can use on short notice, it’s almost impossible to even hurt them without cap closers. If you go true with this i want staff 2 (mesmer) CD to be 15 sec as well. Cause dueling against them is a pain in the ****. And we don’t deserve less tools to win these next to impossible battles.

If use you similar weapon sets, cond damage is same and it won’t be hampered, if you use a power and a cond set though, switching weapons will affect cond damage, just like might does, or any other buff.

Doesnt work. I’ve been spamming all skills while being chilled. It never got extra cooldown. 20 sec cd, remains 20 sec, 5 sec remains 5 sec, etc. I’ve been keeping this a secret since, chill spam would become ridiculous OP otherwise, but since the thread started anyway: Chill 2nd effect, doesn’t work. (And i think it’s good, it would be op, locking down enemy completely).

No wonder, ranger is left in the dark. Kuddos to the Ranger Hero: Robert Hrouda! We will miss you!!!! You were the only one caring for us, without going further into details to prevent infraction. I can only say that everyone (If and i Emphasize if, so this is not infraction justified), that pushed Hrouda away from Gw2, dissapointed me incredible much.

Ps @ people saying his answer were bad: lol. The other devs don’t answer, cause they know we would rage all over their weak reasons why ranger is no priority in their book. They are just smart enough to not say it out loud.

15%? it’s more, isn’t it? My calculation so far have indicated, it’s 20% (inventory loss tp cost loss + TP fee for placing + TP fee lost when selling. Right or not? Everybody keeps saying 15% but that is true, buying at 1 silver and reselling at 1,16 would already make money and it doesn’t, you loose a big chunk on it.

All other Living story: A big fail. Neither worth expansion, or worthy story. And since it’s temporary it’s a hell of a lot worse then an expansion pack wich is forever. And includes nice new maps.

I know talking bad about your own business, will rarely happen, but that guy must be the most extreme example i’ve seen of overconfidance. Condidance ain’t bad, i know certain people that could use some more, but having to much of it isn’t good either. I hope this overconfidance in particular doesn’t kill the game.

This ain’t a flame. It’s a fact he’s overconfidant, and i’m entitled to my opinion that disagree’s with it.

When does this bug/feature exactly kick in? I haven’t had it lately but sold my stuff pretty fast. But i remember times i sold 50 TP things in a row and i got the bug and only restarting game, fixed the bug. Even a whole day, and it wasn’t fixed before i relogged. So what makes it trigger? I don’t want to see this bug anymore.

Price of Precursers.

What i hate is the ‘uncertainty’ for lack of a better word. I have enough gold to buy my precursor if the price of 3 days ago was still active. Last night 9 precursor suddenly were sold and now only 6 left. The price went up 70g, but with so few left it can easely rise incredible high. So do i burst farm, to get it anyway (90g more expensive as of now), in order to prevent a +300g more expensive situation, or do i just wait.

I think the quesion lies with Anet. I think their way of RNG is nothing more then ‘every day a set amount of precursors are handed out, apart from that, everyone else is left in cold with exactly 0,00000000000000000% precursor drop rate’. I’ve seen it on other mmo’s, and every day there 7-20 precursor in TP. It’s to much of a coincidance it’s always around that. If it’s 20+ it’s because ppl don’t buy (highest prices remain and lower price are added). When the market is moving, aka lowest prices going away, but replaced by others, it’s always around 10 a day it’s movnig. Way to much coincidance. Even 0,00000001% RNG is bound to have spikes at some day. With chance everything is possible. With everything possible, a 40 (same) precursor drop in one day, is enough possible that it should have at least happened a few times this year. And it hasn’t. This is because of a hard cap in how many precursor Anet allows to be in the market.

Technically speaking more gold in market, means that everything will inflate. However as many have said, if at same time, materials, exotic, name it also drop, it creates a heavy supply of those items, and thus countering the effect of inflation. More people have moeny, more people want precursors, So the supply goes small. But we are farming harder then we ever did, before, hording more exotics (mystic forge has more thus), then before, opening more chests then before (champ loot, i suppose they should have precursor chance not?). However this is where it goes wrong: there is no extra precursor supply, even with the hardcore farming going on. The only possible responsible is Anet, with a Precursor hardcap. It’s my fear that by limiting the precursor to 10 a day, that since these items are wanted so incredible badly, inflation on precursors cannot be countered. This means i gotta pay superior much to counter even more inflation or hope Anet will turn and insert (albeit shortly) more precursors in the market to satisfy the current gold heavy owning market of farmers.

Waiting could be the biggest mistake in my life, but investing now may as well be. And that’s stupid. A precursor should not be that stressy.

I was just to late with my precusor, the day i would have had enough gold to buy it, it went up 150g =( This is sad. Will precursors drop in price or not? Do i ubberfarm to get it anyway, or just wait for it to drop in price?
