How many people will stick around once the gankers realize there’s no one to gank? You talk like there’s a large amount of players who want open world pvp to fight on equal terms, but the truth is most of them only want to fight when it’s in their favor.
Stealth for 13 seconds =/= perma stealth.
A server with 80% thieves sounds fun. Love getting ganked trying to level.
I’ve got boosters cluttering the bank. I don’t enjoy random luck based rewards when there’s such a small time limit or financial risk. I’ve had enough of that from other games.
I thought about buying gems for keys, but after reading threads on 2 forums and ingame testimonies I’ve decided it’s not worth it. I haven’t spent a dime on the cash shop, and will continue that trend.
I’m tired of holiday items being limited time random drops/luck based. Tends to suck the fun out of these events.
Under cutters is partly due to the TP spanning all servers. The other problem is if it’s not max level or exceptionally useful it wont sell for more than vendor price.
Nope, needs way more negativity and crying.
It’ll be out tomorrow, only Anet knows when.
Maybe we need more negativity on the forums?
I certainly hope they fix event related bugs fast since it’ll only be for a week.
10 keys could easily turn into 25 open chests. Wish I had. 1. key :/
…when it’s ready?
I don’t like the fact that the best way to make money is playing the TP. Actually earning gold in the world is long and tedious, and buying it is unappealing.
Queue times on your server doesn’t mean queue times on my server. If you’re going to miss the point, do some research first.
If we limit nigh capping, we also have to limit day capping, and morning capping, and 5 o’clock happy hour capping.
I’ve wondered about it too. I was hoping their in-house economy guy would talk to us more. I don’t like making gold, and have just enough to cover costs, so I’ll probably always be on or near the bottom, but most players are far below the rich minority I assume.
I doubt it will be such a small window. The had a few screw ups with the first months achievements, so I’m guessing they want to avoid that.
Do you really expect 5 pure dps players to do any good?
Toughness and vitality traits are, in fact, the tanky stats you’re referring too. A better question is, how many people spec full toughness/vitality or support, versus the number of people going full power/precision and take hits like wet noodles.
The only problem I see with leveling too fast is getting the best gear for your current level being expensive if you’re getting new levels really quickly.
Who buys new gear every time they level? I still had lvl 30 gear at 60 and did fine.
I wish it was faster. Leveling alts is a chore.
I’d respond with “Go ahead”, then leave the guild, and continue enjoying the game.
Are the rewards going to negatively affect the game? Other than the blueprints and badges what else do you get? Can you directly turn those into gold?
If they didn’t want this to happen they would stop it. Why should they be limited just because they’re real level is “to low” in your eyes?
I’m not saying the armors are made ugly on purpose, I’m implying they aren’t as cool as they could be. This game is all about looks, so I’m guessing they’ve got some really awesome armor in the works.
Runescape essentially killed bots by removing free trade. It also kitten off a huge chunk of the player base.
Phy, that is still a poor approach… Intentionally making something bad? Why not just put progressive effort into each armor tier?
It doesn’t have to suck to begin with. :/
It’s a pretty common approach to armor models. If the coolest set of armor was released first some people wouldn’t care about getting the other sets, which is the whole premise in this game.
The first tier of armor’s are usually lackluster. Hopefully that’s the approach they’re going for.
Maybe he’s asking to make gold similar to dungeon tokens. Which would make trading difficult.
Well, if it was easy you might have come home to a crying child with a hacked account and no way of recovering the account.
People complain that devs don’t talk enough, when the devs do talk they complain that they didn’t answer the question good enough.
People can never be happy.
Why does this matter? How is it unfair?
This is in the game, the difference is, you gt the weapon with tokens instead of drops. RNG sucks.
If it makes you feel better, WOW has 79 known bugs currently. That game has only been out 8 or 9 years.
My guess is somewhere between 30 and 60.
Strawman, how nice. Stupid reasons to give every country but ours aid aside, the game would never be “ready” in some peoples eyes. Was the game rushed? Was it overhyped? Is there still a few million people who bought and enjoyed the game, and are much happier that it came out sooner than later?
The first two questions aren’t important at this stage of the game.
Too bad that event doesn’t happen very often.
Why do people keep bringing up the “when it’s ready” comment? The game is out, whether it was “ready” in your eyes is irrelevant at this point.
Dual spec, yes.
Templates? Since you can spec and respec in sPvP, eh.
It’s like the WOW mailboxes and mounts all over again.
Anything that’s spec’d power, basically.
Which is great the first time. The third time running a DE it loses the appeal.
Yes. In general every game forum is mostly complaints of some kind.
Or, it makes the game a long, boring, repetitive grind for levels/currency.
Just saying.
I got tired of being hit by a bird 10 feet away.
You can get the achievement without the bomb.
And this would be as opposed to exactly which MMO that is brought up in an MMO community and its all unicorns and rainbows?
The dreamer is all about unicorns and rainbows. Lets make an MMO about that.
Also My Little Pony needs an MMO spinoff.
What community are you referring too? The forum, ingame, or reviewers? If you’re referring to the forum then every game with a forum is failing and a waste of time. They are also the minority, not the majority.
