I’m from Spain. To sum up: Miku is smart. He uploaded the video he had interest with (meaning that Miku is not showing the whole incident). He kicked me first. I kept his name in order to take revenge. I don’t have any evidence. I am not worried.

Pugland:

TAfwd: Leaurent’s Elite Guard. I was crossing barriers with Shield/defiant stance, and a guy was trying to cross after me, being downed every time (even after I explained the mechanics of the barriers). I guess my English is more awful than I thought.

By the way, the two guards I got (7K and 9 K AP) on this PuG, didn’t pop up Aegis. They didn’t know that was good for this.

So far, Mesmer is the winner. I wouldn’t expect that.
Personally, I think I’d go engi.

My war is stuck on there too. All other toons are ok.
I also went to sparkfly Fen with my engi…and now is stuck there too.

So looks like a problem with the map.

Im struggling to choose a main. Guardian is one of the.candidates but Im not satisfoed with his dps when soloing.
So I was wondering which builds and gear are you using when soloing (either fungeons or open world stuff).

My list would go like this:
Guardian but I think that their solo dps is too low.
Warrior but they have been too nerfed for pvp. And it is lacking on tagging events.
Ele, still unsure of its survability when solo.
Thief, cant buff bads pugs.

Engi, for me is the clear winner.

I don’t think so at all. Guardian and elementalist bring more utility to groups and don’t have terrible DPS.

It may be tougher to outlast a barrage of attacks on an elementalist whenever terribad pugs aggro a lot of elite mobs in Arah and stuff like that, but generally speaking outside of situations like this you really don’t need warrior’s high hp crutch.

This is especially considering the fact that they’ve also made story mode dungeons danger-free by making all the mobs/bosses lower level than you and the changes made to lower-level dungeons in April with ferocity, where our attributes scale to the point where everything (besides bosses) dies as fast as open world yellow mobs.

Unbuffed guardian dps is way worse than selfbuffed warrior dps. Unbuffed runs is what I undetstand for pug. Ele is anorher league and the class to go, on that I agree.

Purple. I do think that people like you is able to notice every single nerf (and that came from admiration, Im just starting to solo). What people like me is able to notice is how far of the meta the group is. As sad as it sounds, in my experience, I always feel that I dps-carry most pugs runs (on my ele or on my war).

The other consideration is that a warrior is always needed to increase the party dps.

Haven’t you found the ones that claim that #1 is a dps increase?

Start abusing warrior mobility (GS-Sw&horn) and you will see. Then start adding blocks and evades (Gs, offhand sword)… Then start using the right utility skills for every situation (do you know that warrs have a fear skills that works wonder to push mobs for instance?)…. Check warrior guide on dulfy site.

And then, play with his reflects on certain situations…
And the, solo dungeons.
It is an amazing class. And I hate to say it, cause I hate big armored prototypes in fantasy games.

In my defense I was proposing staff only for CoFp1’s gate in a pug setting , that is, no one is giving you might.
When in my guard, I tend to use the meta 45005, don’t worry.

Lol. Talking about it. Just did a SEp1. Guard, mes, ranger, engi and me as warrior. Zero reflects on the 3 golems part even when all hurried to stack at the corner. A completly wipe. I never have problems when I run with my guard or mesmer….

I have a friend who has recently started playing the game.
He wants to focus on a single class and he asked for a pug carrying one.
I’d say guardian (but I’m unsure on low dps groups), warr/ele (for solo carrying the run)… and engis?

Silly question. Why staff ele doesnt slot LH? The idea.is that you can be the only ele on the party, provide fire fields with staff and let tge thief be the one who blast them wirh lh

But I have a question for you. A question that I have been asking to myself lately.
I’d like to play ele on fractls, but I can’t survive with it. So, i) I could use some soldiers trinkets and keep all my blast finishers on my utilities bar. ii) I could keep full zerkers but I have to use defensive utilities… which means no might and fury for my party.

In i) I would lower my dps (to warrior level?) but I would still contribute to my party.
In ii) Whats the point in bringing an ele that doesn’t give might&fury?

The other issue that I have is that I feel bad if I dont have arcane brilliance and arcane wave for blast finishers 24/7 on my bar. And sometimes my survavility goes down because of this.

Eles are the best class for dungeons due to massive damage, support and fiery greatsword , also eles are one of the best classes in fractals so I recommend it, but all classes apart from necro have a place in dungeons, mesmers are a little weak but still viable

I cant survive on fractals ob my ele. Any tips? I only pug and I use 66002 staff build.

Im using force/accuracy… Is /strenght better? I guess it would depen on class and build.

I gave up on imbued shaman… Also, notice that I only ask for autoattack/aim on num1. Anyway,in the meanwhile, Staff Ele is good enough for me.

It is going to sound silly, but not having autoattack on grenade num 1 is what keeps me away ofrom having my engi as my main.

May I ask you another question? For traveling on open world (go to point A to point what do you use? So far I’m using staff for swiftness (with blasting finishers) and FGS… I don’t use mist form neither blink cause the long CD. Is D/D any better?

Im torn between maining (which one will get the ascended armor) my ele or my warr. I only do pug runs and using zerker meta build. I actually enjoy overall more my ele bit I have problems on the skips. So easy with warr so hard time with my ele.

So any tip on this? Do you retrait¿ Using fgs for that seems a waste but maybw is what every inw is doing¿

That should be between 5-10% dps decrase. Pretty noticiable pal, at least on your dps rankings

I have been replacing rubies for rangrrs runes on my alts… But looking at your numbers doesnt look that ferocity change hit that hard

One last question if you dont mind.
Im short on dragonite, so right now I only have one ascended GS. What sigils do you recommend me? So far Im using force+accuracy.
