If what I heard is correct, rev is gonna be very meta pve-raid-wise

Sounds like at good system. I have around 80 Li right now. I would like to focus on learning how to tank on my mesmer as I cant learn it by pugging. I can provide full quickness and alacrity.

I keep seeing claims of 33-34k full buffs. Wheras orhers say is not viable at all.

I jst tried it on the pvp golem with 90% boon duration. Piece of cake. And i dont mesmer at all.

I dont play mesmer yet, but assuming 6s each:

SoI 24s (~18 w/ Alacrity)
Traited SoI – 24s (~18 w/ Alacrity)
Well of Action – 25s (~19 w/ Alacrity)
Tides of Time – 30s (~23 w/ Alacrity)

Thats enough to get permaquickness by just spamming on cd, no? Am i missing something?

I noticed this too. Can someone confirm exactly how it used to work for might? Right now, it just copies 20+ seconds of one stack of might. SO MUCH MIGHT!!!!

It used to share up to 25stacks might with the duration you have on yourself. Right now it only shares ONE stack of might … it’s horrible …

Bleeds and poison are your main damaging conditions, hence you focus on them. Take into account that sigils and trinkets are slightly different on each setup.
At the end of the day aim fot 100% bleed and poison duration and then add as much condition damage as possible

Oh also. With the amonut of utility we already have. A simple buf on bomb kit so we reach thief dps would be the easiest solution. Iirc we are just 2k short.

Tbh with a simple +150 stat we wont make it. I think we need a flat +5% damage increase around us. Like shaped charge or shsrpshooter or excessive energy work party wide.

Well, power engi (static discharge build with bombs, ram and rifle turret) is just behind thief. Pretty easy rotation.

Yes, we have been playing around aswell. Engi is behind, but not so much. Still with the new venom share thing, thief is the clear winner.

I just got 35K (unrealistic buffs) with ram. The rotation is fairly simple (and I am starting to think that is not even worth to use the rifle, damage wise: just stick to bombs aa and toolbelt on cd).
Now the sabetha seems easier with thiefs… maybe we can gain a spot besides VG XD

Still a thing on PS war. Be aware tho, that r not really needed if u party with a revenant. I still use them but I adjust the food accordandly.

Thaddeus, preHoT bosses were permafrezzed with icebow chain. Remember the old lfg ps, guard, thief, 2 ele?
Anyway powrcreep is real + to cap vuln is way easier now+more defensive tools.
And I do think 77 is way less than the old 50. I doubt i could survive one axe hit on my ele back then

I’m fairly confident they’ll be revamping the bad instabilities like Boon Thieves or Boon Fumbler at some point this year as well.

Unfortunatly, after the novelty (is that word correct? Cant check right now) has passed people will go back to 3 swamp runs. New fractals and new instabilities wont solve the problem.

And tbh they are so faceroll now that rewards seems appropiate.
Also, I dont want the same old dungeons, I want new ones.

Well if only anet add an old dunegon like kind of content… new fractals and rethink the whole instabilities thing (actually we were all doing 40 and 50 cause there were no instabilities on there).

I think they achived to bring new people to fractals but those people are gonna get burned very fast.

And our damage is still fine for what we provide. You’re trying to make it seem 19k DPS (which is an inaccurate number as well, fyi) is so low that suddenly no one wants to use a Revenant anymore. We’re not taken to content for the damage, we provide some of the best buffing capabilities and we’re fantastic when it comes to breaking breakbars. We provide a whole lot of other utility on top of it in the lines of being able to perma-blind, block projectiles, grant resistance and clear conditions, have the unique ability of sharing out boonduration and the list goes on. If you’re looking to get Elementalist-worthy DPS on top of it we would be beyond broken as a class.

Even in PvP our damage is really not one of the things that is holding back the class.

I do want to add to this post that if our damage is nerfed even further from here, it will become a problem. Another nerf like the one we just received will cause a lot of groups to swap out Revenants for something else. At least that is my prediction.

Raid-wise rev do not provide anything so useful that its lowish dps can be overlooked. Revs are out of the raid meta right now .

BDO looks certainly good, but it seems it will get boring pretty fast what I read about it. I’ll try it out maybe. After a short trip to BnS I noticed the high quality of GW2 which almost no other MMO has (except maybe WoW).

The problem with GW2 is not the quality but the lack of content.

By the way, raids are too easy with a dedicated group and a nightmare with pug (in the case you are willing to spend an hour to set up a group).

Do we know bloomy HP at lv 56? If I recall correctly, I saw a yt vid claiming 2milions.
On my pug life I am always, according jaxnx, responsible of 1 milion damage on my ps war (why pug never bring a ps war by the way). So, as I dont belive that can be true, what is wrong: the hp statement or my jaxnx settings?
